"With this impressive architecture and decoration, you'd think the old guildhall was just a makeshift," Kei hummed. Neyvahn walked passed another room and made his way to the stairwell.
"It's pretty, I'll give them that," he said as he readjusted his hood. "By the way, what the hell was that whole thing with the old guildhall about?"
Kei thought for a few seconds. "Hmm... Are you talking about the giant robot?"
"Yes."
"Oh, that," he sighed. "Apparently that giant robot was the guild pet, made by the previous guild master. Something happened and it went haywire."
Neyvahn turned down a few flights of stairs before walking into the tavern. Off to the side, he could see the bar with a few people enjoying various dishes and beverages. All of them were chatting among themselves, enjoying a beer, or an iced tea. "If that is the case, I sure hope the new guild-master trashed that thing. Moving here was hard enough, I'd hate to have to do it again..."
That day, Neyvahn had planned to go and check out what jobs were available. After a few jobs, he was starting to build up stamina and strength. Neyvahn was becoming a better overall fighter. He had the blood of a yokai running through him, and the ability to shift solids was at his fingertips, but that was no excuse to lay back. By taking on just a few dangerous missions, he was able to accumulate a decent increase in his fighting ability. There was no telling what many more could do to him.
Neyvahn went up to the bar and ordered a lemonade iced tea, sitting down and looking around the room. A few of the people were mages, but not that many. His sense didn't really feel much energy flowing through the room... except for a very powerful source, and a familiar one at that. Neyvahn sighed. "...great."
Kei just laughed a little. "I was wondering when she'd show up."
