Skyllon sighed and adjusted his Gauntlet, walking up to the enemies before halting abruptly. "Wait." He ripped a chunk of Platinum from the wall and chucked it at the ground. "Wait for it..." Skyllon muttered to no one in particular, and suddenly, an explosion was set off, then another, and then another, until all fifteen had been set off. After all of the explosions had been set off, guts were splattered everywhere, but Skyllon seemed totally unphased. "How many mines could possibly be here?" Skyllon said, extremely irritated, and extremely loudly. After this sentence, more scuffling was heard, and Skyllon sighed audibly, once again. "Well, I guess there's more murder ahead." He then started trudging his feet forwards, once again readjusting his gauntlet. He assumed that Kateri was still staring at the Platinum, and said, "You can stare at the Platinum later, Kateri, let's get going." As he said this, more enemies turned a corner and ran towards the pair of Mages. Skyllon sighed for the what had to be the zillionth time in three minutes and started searching the ground for more land mines.

Kateri pointed the revolver at a man who came around the corner and pulled the trigger. The round was a couple inches off, but still hit the man in the head. He hit the floor and began seizing up, and shaking violently. "Woops." Kateri said while still examining the wall, but having heard the situation. She walked across the way and picked up a pick axe and slammed it on the wall with her free hand. A chunk of the precious metal came off, just in time for her to hear the rest of that man's party coming around the corner, likely from the sound of the gun shot. "These guys don't stop do they..." Kateri said, not particularly to anyone. She put the pick axe down and sighed, wishing she had gone at this alone. Had she done that, she could have gone ahead and slipped past everyone. "When I get outta here I'm gunna get some candy... maybe try a different flavor of that cotton candy." she said as she began stepping forwards, getting ready to turn the tunnel into an ice box.

Skyllon quickly examined the ground, not finding any landmines, so he dashed forwards. The spiders would explode as soon as he got close, so he ordered his orb to slam into both of the spiders, both of which collapsed as soon as the orb rammed into them. However, then came the more difficult part, dealing with the goddamn Demolition Slaves. At his command, the orb whizzed towards the leftmost Slave and slammed into it, once, twice, three times. He then stepped out of the way, and the fourth strike missed him. "Not so fast!" Skyllon muttered quietly, and the Orb curved back and smashed into the stomach of the slave, and after that, it smashed into his head. He then dropped dead, the blunt force from the Orb was just too much for him to handle. "Am I actually gonna hafta do that another time?" Skyllon muttered annoyed. "Screw this." He grumbled, smashing the Orb straight into the crotch of the remaining Demolition Slave. He fell to the ground, unconscious, but not dead, and Skyllon dashed past him, muttering inaudible words of annoyance.

Kateri had already ran past the others, he black cloak matching the shadows of the mines and her light steps making it too difficult for the enemies to hear. She held no remorse for leaving Skyllon behind like that, knowing he'd be just fine on his own... maybe. It was then that she saw it... a single room with a man sitting on a single wooden chair with a large smile on his face. Kateri walked in the room, making eye contact with the man. "So... you the guy we're after?" Kateri said with a strong voice. "Maybe, maybe not. My boys say you got a boyfriend." the man replied, his voice was pretty arrogant. "He's a real charmer, but I find him a bit boring." Kateri said, playing along with the joke. "So my dear, what will it be? A vein attempt to kill me, or a vein attempt to capture me?" the man said feeling quite full of himself. "How about a bit of sparring when my 'boyfriend' catches up?" Kateri said, smiling at the thought of her getting a boyfriend, but really holding back the laughter.

Soon, he was stunned, greeted with a room, and Kateri, talking talking to a man who seemed to be this 'Demolition's Expert'. He slowly entered the room, adjusting his gauntlet, making his Orb poise itself above his head. "So," He said, just loud enough for everyone in the room to hear him, "You must be who we came here for, am I correct?" He smiled ever so slightly, and refrained from hitting the 'Demolition's Expert', after all, Kateri looked extremely eager to get some hits in herself. The man nodded, and said, "That's correct." To this, Skyllon simply nodded and asked, "So, how come you're the top dog, aren't you just like all the others?" To this, the man's answer was an explosion, near Skyllon's face. It didn't damage him, nor did it alarm him, but he yelped for show. "So, Kateri, you wanna start us off?" Kateri didn't bother smiling, she simply charged forwards allowing her black cloak to fall off her shoulders, revealing just how long her hair was. With no sunlight, he hair remained its standard blue color as she moved to the opponent. The demolitions expert snapped his fingers, causing the air in front Kateri to warp slightly and alert her to roll forwards just before an explosion was set off. She then opened her hand, holding a ball of ice in it and slammed the ball on the demolitions expert. Afterwards, a large amount of icy winds whirled around the room, making it so her attacks would be infused with additional power and deal more damage. She then placed her hand on the floor, causing a set of pillars to rise up and slam into the Demolitions expert, rendering him unable to run. He got ready to snap his fingers once more, likely to break the ice open, but his action was cut short when Kateri grabbed his hand. By results of her Embrace Winter, the touch began freezing his hand over, and just as he snapped the fingers were so iced up that no sound was produced, therefore no explosions. She smirked, and began walking away towards the entrance to the cavern. From here, she would see her partner's actions against the man. She leaned against the opening and began whistling a calm song.

His companion had knocked the Demolition's Expert unconscious, and had clearly damaged him to the point where it would be impossible for him to ever live a normal life again, and as tempted as Skyllon was to leave him to live a horrible life, he decided to kill the man, simply to put him out of his misery. His Orb floated towards the ceiling, and flew down at the Demolitions Expert, shattering his skull and lodging itself in his gray matter. Skyllon made a face and ordered his Orb to fly to his palm, where it shrank down to the size of a marble and Skyllon put it in one of his many pockets. He started calmly walking out of the mine, calmly pacing through the room filled with platinum ore, the glowing phosphorous room, among others. As soon as he hit light, he smiled happily, and his gauntlet shrank down to a golden ring, which he put on a para-cord and slipped it onto his neck. He cracked his knuckles and slowly walked to the nearest inn.
