Wanted! Demolitions Expert!

Looking at the piece of paper in her hand and then back at her surroundings, Duchess Havoc ran a hand through her long red hair before continuing to walk towards her desired destination. As usual she could feel the eyes of "commoners" and fanboys following her as she made her way to Crocus' District seven Guard Station. Rae's red hues scanned each and every building to make sure that she was going in the right direction... and in about five minutes time, she arrived.

With a polite knock consisting of two taps, the Duchess entered the station. Due to the loud click of her heels several guardsmen turned their heads in annoyance to inspect who was disturbing ther work. As they saw however, their annoyance turned into curiosity. "Good day sir, would you happen to be able to guide to the location of the dangerous mine shaft?" Rae asked a random man with her usual, killer business smile. The guard nodded several times, he seemed rather flustered, before giving her instructions for the direction of her job. "Thank you." The Duchess bowed before strutting her way out of the guard station. As she closed the door behind her however she felt a presence belonging to a magic user... her calm eyes scanned the scenery around her only to find a rather short, blue-haired girl which, if she was not mistaken, seemed to be headed in the same direction she was. With a calm, yet friendly approach, the Havoc heiress voiced her opinion "I beg your pardon miss, however I couldn't help but notice that we seem to be headed in the same direction." Rae attempted to politely strike a conversation with the girl. "My name is Duchess Rae Havoc, what would yours happen to be?"

Surprise flashed through Rae's eyes when she spotted the little creature wrapped around the blue-haired girl's arm. She had never seen a wyvern before- it looked so magnificent and yet so dangerous.  The Duchess nodded politely at the girl's introduction, the Tribe of Souls sounded quite...familiar, where had she heard that name from? "Well it is a pleasure to meet both you, miss Kateri, and Shadow." The heiress curtsied towards both the lady and her pet. She was amazed and pleasantly surprised at their manner of acting and speaking, not that she would let that show on her face. Rae's proud nature would usually not be able to agree to Kateri's terms, however knowing that the enemy was strong, and that she was missing magic in anything but her sword made her agree. "To be honest miss Kateri even if you wanted the leadership position I would let you have it, you seem to be much more experienced than I am." The Duchess said. She knew that this was business; In business you needed to be able to make the best decisions to survive, being proud here would only get her killed. "Equals sounds nice, however, so I would enjoy taking you up on your offer." The heiress added.  

Following after Kateri quietly the Duchess admired her newly-found companion's hair. To her amazement, it changed its colors from blue to while and it looked gorgeous. The Devil descendant's ears quickly picked up on "commoners" discussing what her partner was wearing. With an annoyed click of her tongue, the noble glared at the on-lookers causing most of them to shut up. "Commoners" never learned to not judge books by their cover and that made them either really easy to fool, or in this case, very annoying to listen to.

After walking for a while the Duchess and her partner seemed to have managed to arrive at their destination. A large quarry stood in front of them, however there wasn't a single soul around it. From what Rae could sense from her devil inheritance there was no-one worth saving in there either. Looking around, she quickly spotted mining equipment lying around near the cave's entrance and picked up two flashlights. "These would be useful." The Havoc Duchess said as she handed one to Kateri. She could feel strong presence coming from the cave as she entered it...

Rae listened to Kateri's observations, they all seemed to make sense. So the boss was probably a magic user huh? Biting her lower lip, the Duchess followed after her partner, she knew that she was already at a disadvantage. The fact that the white-haired mage in front of her managed to notice traps and was able to decide on a split so fast made Rae tilt her head. She already admired how smart her new ally was. "I'm sorry to hear that." The red-haired noble said after she heard Shadow's story. The poor creature had it tough, thankfully it seemed to be on the right track due to the guidance of it's master. The Duchess saw Kateri out a rifle and followed after her into the other tunnel. She nodded as she could understand what the girl meant when she said that they don't blend in.

As the pair kept on walking through the tunnel they came into an open hall. There seemed to be nothing in it, just dirt soil and rocks. But that seemed way too easy. Looking around The Duchess noticed that the rocks that made up the walls of the room where climbable. "Please wait." She commanded politely. It didn't sound rude or powerful, just casual and rather conveyed the worry that the aristocrat was feeling. Climbing up rocks with high heels was not the smartest thing Rae had ever done, but when she reached the top of the room she was thankful she did it. "Miss Kateri... we might have to pass through up here if we want to stay in one piece." The Duchess said shakily. The entire ground was full of land mines, there was about thirty, no forty of them...

After going down on the other side of the dangerous hall, the Duchess gave a sigh of relief. One wrong move and BOOM...there goes all of her glory. Rae shivered at the though of dying in a mine-field somewhere underground where no-one would hear. As her wandered off onto Kateri, however, she watched the girl do an impressive leap, followed by a run across the wall. In mere seconds the mage had landed right next to the nobility. The red-haired devil descendant was quite amazed at her partner's athletic ability. At her partner's question the Duchess tilted her head a bit. No-one had called her simply by her name before, but she wouldn't mind it if this person did it for some reason. "Feel free to call me Rae then, Miss Kateri."  

Noticing her partner's gaze creep its way back to the mine field, the Red-haired Duchess couldn't help but get excited at the white-haired girls' brilliant plan. The devil blood that ran through her veins went hot at the sound of the plan. With a chuckle, Rae caught the piece of dynamite that Kateri had thrown at her and hid them under the short skirt of her black body suit.

"I'm not sure anyone has told you before, Miss Kateri, but you are a brilliant tactician." The Duchess complimented as they walked further into the mine through it's next tunnel. Her devil senses where still going mad and she could feel her wings and tail dying to appear on their own. As the pair came out into the other hall Rae looked around, quickly spotting that there was, yet again, nothing wrong with this room. Turning back to look at her partner, however, the Duchess' wings sprouted from her back as a defense mechanism. Immediately pulling Kateri off the ground and flying up as high as possible the Duchess bit her lower lip as she heard a loud explosion sound from after them. "That was way too close." She muttered as she stared back at the wall full of little white spiders.

The red-haired Havoc heiress watched Kateri make quick work of the spiders after landing. Her red hues widened at the sight of the upcoming explosions as she quickly flapped her wings in order to get out of range of the bombs. After she was far up enough to dodge the flames, her eyes landed on her partner...in front of who stood a large pillar of ice. The hair colors of mage had changed again into a gorgeous blue. As Rae's red eyes met her partners, The Duchess tilted her head in confusion. Most people who she knew found devils repulsive and revolting, however Kateri's mood had clearly improved. "I will call you Kat then, since you're offering." The nobility replied.

The Duchess landed quietly next to Kateri and ran a hand through her long red hair. "I honestly think it's fine for demons or devils to try to live peacefully. That is what my mother did." She answered, her devil tail hung loosely at her side as she turned to look around. The coast seemed to be clear. "Let's keep going, whoever is in charge probably already heard us coming.I don't want to give that person a lot of time to prepare." Rae stated as she headed in through the next tunnel. That's right, this was business. She had to focus on defeating the crazy man in this quarry at all costs. Her devil heritage hid itself as she and Kateri passed through the underground passage onto the next part of this labyrinth.

The Duchess felt a warm shiver run up her spine as Kateri called someone out. It was the name of a demon, she was sure. Names like Ghelgath and Kazimir could only belong to demons. The man who appeared in front of Rae was dressed like a butler and introduced himself as a destroyer of peace. The red-haired female nodded at Kazimir. It was normal for a Devil Duchess to accept with pleasure the appearance of another creature from the Dark side. She curtsied politely in response.

After the demon left to go through the other tunnel Rae couldn't help but stare after him. She could feel a sense of attraction towards Kazimir, probably because of the amount of blood lust that they both gave off. The Duchess' red hues softened lightly at Kateri's explanation of her familial situation. "I'm sorry to hear that." She muttered, she knew pity was not someone Kat would want to hear but it was still polite to show concern.

Following after her partner, the pair walked in silence for a while. As they arrived at their next destination however a man was waiting for them in the center of it. When his eyes landed on them he started laughing maniacally and running in the direction of Rae and Kat. With a raise of her eyebrow the Duchess took out her broadsword, Ghelgath, from behind her. The weapon immediately released a wave of cold around it, it was happy to shed blood. She ran towards the man and swung her sword several times, making sure to cut the explosives off of him, a long with some flesh a long the way. Just as she was about to deal the final blow however she heard a sound come from behind her. Recognizing it from earlier she immediately slid herself in between the man's legs, barely dodging an explosive spider. The explosive lackey was dead for sure now. Looking behind her at the amount of explosive spiders, with an annoyed growl she looked at Kateri for help. "I can only fight at melee range Kat, can you please take care of those?"

The Duchess was, yet again, impressed with Kateri's quick reactions. Her gun truly was a masterpiece, and it seemed to be quite difficult to work with. The red-haired female gave a real, rather sad, smile as she heard that Kateri was taught by her father in her fighting abilities, it seemed like a very nice thing to do. "It must be very nice to have a parent to learn from..." Rae muttered. She couldn't help but feel a bit jealous of her partner's close relationship with her dad. As the topic was changed to the noble's feet however, the Duchess couldn't help but let out a giggle. "If you wear them everyday for 365 days since age ten, trust me, you would get used to them." Rae explained as she looked at her own feet. As they turned to walk on to the next part of the mine the heiress sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "I loved being nobility until my parents died, then it was a battle for power between me and my uncle. Me being really young however, it was an automatic loss." She could feel her eyes glow red as she dug her nails in her wrist. "My hatred for that man grows deep. He threw me out of my house for not being human, despite the fact that he made me attend all of his festivities and used me to gain popularity." The Duchess glared at the walls and attempted to calm herself down. "Yeah growing up a nobility was definitely the funnest thing ever." She spoke sarcastically. Her tone was venomous but it wasn't directed at anyone in particular..

As they proceeded to the next room and Rae's red hues spotted another explosive-strapped crazy man, she calmed down. This was business, emotions were irrelevant here, taking Ghelgath out, she ran up to the man before he had noticed them and sliced off the explosives before slicing his flesh. "This room seems to be less guarded, maybe we're close Kat." The Duchess stated her opinion out loud, looking back at the girl. "I also must apologize about earlier, I tend to loose it when it comes to my uncle." The Havoc heiress apologized with a bow. She could still feel rage burning within her veins and she was sure that her demon weapon, Ghelgath, was sensing it and responding because it released another wave of cold air.

'Monster Dice' :

Rae's eyes widened at her partner's action. She did not know how to react to a hug as she had not received one since her parents died. Her blood froze over. Kateri's explanation of her clans rules sounded quite nice however as the red-haired female was released from the hug and heard the continuation of the mage's explanation she threw a sharp glare at Kat. "I do not wish for a quick death for my uncle, I simply want to regain my position and have him try the way I lived!" After speaking those words however she immediately regretted her venomous tone. With a bow she apologized. "I appreciate the offer miss Kateri however I want to deal with my family matters myself." She explained politely. As she saw her partner destroy another one of the mad bombers she realized that she was still quite amazed with the mage. Running after Kateri the mage listened to her offer. Becoming a family with this girl seemed to the Duchess like a dream come true, however she could not allow herself to wish for such a thing. "I must politely decline this offer as well. Please do understand Kat, I do not want to be worried over anyone all the time. Living alone has it's good sides." The devil explained and bowed politely.

As they walked down the path together something that hadn't occurred before did. Two Explosive Mad Men appeared in the middle of the corridor, they weren't even in the next hall, and that confused the Duchess. Rae took Ghelgath out immediately and threw him at one of the men, detaching his left-hand from his shoulder. There was a high pitched shreak as the red-haired female leaped past the two men in order to take her sword back. She felt excited about this feeling. She loved feeling strong and powerful, even if it was just by killing people. With several slashes at the armless man, he fell on the ground out cold. The Duchess then turned towards the second one with an evil glint in her eye and swung her sword at him aswell. "I'm pretty sure no light guild will take me if they see how brutal this is." Rae told Kateri with a laugh.

The Duchess listened quietly to Kateri's story of her tribe. She was not going to end up crazy and demon possessed like he partner's father, her pride would not allow her to do so. Rae could only feel bad for her companion's past however as she was not used to expressing such emotions she could only pat Kat's shoulder in an attempt to show sympathy. Rae's eyes softened as she listened about how unfortunate the conditions were for her friend's tribe. As shadow growled at her she looked at it blankly, she was confused but the female was sure that there was a reason for the creature's action. It seemed to be upset at her about something. When the nobility heard the younger girl's sad tone of voice however she felt a duty towards her. She took a strand of the girl's hair and kissed it politely. "I am not good at expressing concern through my body, so please do understand." The Duchess explained and gave the younger mage a sad smile in return.

As Rae caught up to Shadow, noticing that he had killed another one of the crazy self-destructing idiots, she heard footsteps come from behind them. There was another one. Jumping and quickly slicing off the explosives strapped to him, the Duchess made sure to make quick work of the crazy man before her eyes spotted someone else. "So you're the ones causing all of this trouble for me?" A low male voice asked. The aura around him seemed different. The female devil's red hues scanned the man. He seemed to have long blond hair and blue eyes and his body seemed to be way better build than that of those that she had killed earlier. "I didn't expect to have two pretty ladies trying to stop me. It's kind of sad that I have to kill you now." He explained in a mocking voice causing the Duchess to run a hand through her long hair. "I do believe we're the ones doing the killing this time around." She said non-nonchalantly causing a smirk to appear on their opponent's face. Rae took Ghelgath out from behind her and lifted it up pointing it up in the direction of the sky. "Now Freeze." She whispered, immediately causing a crazy Blizzard to begin within a 10 ft radius.

'Damage Dice' :

Duchess Havoc was, yet again, amazed at the younger mage's power. Kateri was amazing at using ice magic. As she left the opponent frozen in fear her partner also let Rae decide whether to kill the man or not. Her heels clicked as she walked up to the explosion specialist, tilting her head to the side she asked. "What happened to that cockiness?" The blond man glared at the red haired nobility but said nothing. He was lucky that the devil found his blue eyes quite attractive. "Death isn't what I would like to see happen to you." Rae muttered quietly, her red eyes staring back and his icy ones. with a swing of Ghelgath, the Duchess cut Kateri's ice magic spike and held him up on her shoulder. "You, sir, are under arrest." Rae announced as she started carrying him back to the station a long with Kat. He was heavy but not heavy enough to make the Duchess loose balance on her heels Never though I'd be defeated by two girls." he muttered angrily as they handed him in at the Guard station. The workers looked at the pair of girls in disbelief before handing out the reward.
