The Heratic (Solo/Job):

Well Elyx, today we are going to be outcasts of a Kingdom. How exciting does that feel for you. Ignite said as she crossed one leg over the other on her bed. Elyx on the other hand was getting dressed, this was a new event for him, and most certainly exciting. The She Phoenix already showed him what the situation was, and if they don't get this job done by morning, the poor raccoon would have his head on the chopping block. That was not something Elyx was aware of, but it sounded painful, especially when one were to emphasize the word "Chopping". The raccoon must be going through a lot of fear, and soon, probably the quickest yet most painful one second to death in his life. Elyx did not object to taking this job, not only was it to save an innocent person from being put to death, but it also allowed him to get a huge jewel reward and learn a little bit of magic as well. Today, he was going to go in, fully equipped. He tipped over to the clothing to see what he would find inside of it. The first thing for the boy to do is grab a pair of pants. He got a long, acid blue pair of jeans, nothing too skinny since he knew that he would need the movement, and tight pants cut off his movement in an instant. The jeans were also placed and wrapped with a nice white belt as well to keep his pants from falling off once it begins to hold things. The first thing that Elyx placed on both sides of his pants were his two sword sheathes, in which he holds some rather light weapons, but any weapon alone can make the pants fall. These two weapons were Knight Iris and Mystic Knight Iris. Once he clicked the sheathes in place, he looked over to his armory and clicked open the lock in order to pull out both blades. There was a mirror right there, and the boy could not help but laugh since he looked like a survivor of the end of the world, ready for combat with his swords, but he did not even have a shirt on due to the extreme weather and the lack of movement that his jacket would provide. A few battle scars would be nice to help enhance the look, but other than that, the boy would have to just deal with it as it is. The next thing Elyx added onto his set of moves was the shirt itself, a white T-Shirt with no special features, this was to keep his body cool since he was planning to wear a jacket. It was not cold or anything, at least, it was not a cold day in Black Rose once the boy got used to the weather system or anything, but the boy liked to keep his jacket since that is where the items are located. To somewhat help his case, the jacket was white as well, so it was not going to burn him to a crisp like some other wares might be able to do. Once he zipped the jacket up to the right amount, about halfway up his chest, he looked at how his hair was. An utter mess as usual when someone were to get up in the morning. Well, it was not like there were many clients to see today. Kakuma did not like to think of herself as a higher power over anyone, she tried to make things as democratic as possible, giving everyone a fair choice and answer for the guild. That is one of the reasons why the guild is neutral. The other though... In which Elyx can be associated with dark wizards and possibly get blamed for their actions, that was not exactly the most lighthearted of thoughts. The final piece of equipment he placed onto his body was Leviathan Iris Armor, the armor designed to somewhat limit his movement for an exchange of amazing amounts of defensives and an okay amount of healing power. Cassie could help him with the defenses, but the fact that he had this option as well was amazing. This was how Elyx saw it. This was how he saw it. With Cassies Overshield ability, she was able to block almost double of what Leviathan Iris can. Now, with Leviathan Iris, that would be about five hits before actually getting to Elyx. There was some sort of other defense that he remembered that he could use to set it up to around 7 or 8, but that did not seem to be coming to his mind right now. He shrugged it off and ignored it as he stood back up and looked in the mirror again as he looked at his golden armor, then nodded to himself in the mirror with approval.

Yeah, it turns out there is a time limit and everything, we have to get this job by sunrise or it's the raccoons head. Elyx explained as he walked over to the table without much of a care He felt like this was such an easy job and that he could do it withing a few hours. But there was a small little condition that bothered the boy a little bit. That they were going to have to search for someone else in the process. That person was the one who wrote the job request, and claims that he needs to be the one assisting, or there would be no reward. If the boy and the She Phoenix were to save the raccoon and did not get paid, they could have the man thrown in jail just for that. But because he was the client, and this sort of act was just unfair, they decided to just go along with it and find this man. Hopefully he would not be as annoying as he was on the job request paper. Ignite needed some equipmentr of her own, and the boy has tried many times, but she refused just as many times and shook him away from doing so. Eventually he would be able to put on at least armor on her so that she would be safe. The boy liked it better when she was a little more naive and would fall for almost anything. But he taught her how to be aware and do what she believed, which may or may not have been a huge mistake on his part. Whatever the case, that is what he created and now that is what he was going to have to deal with. Still though, there was going to be a point in time in which she will have someone she wants to protect, then she will realize why Elyx was doing this.

Elyx placed his hands onto both of his weapons, Knight Iris and Mystic Knight Iris. These were the two weapons that he needed, none others can fight alongside him. One of them was considered to be stronger than the other, which kind of irked Elyx a little bit since he knew that they were both capable of doing their own things. But once again, if the Council says something, that is what they said, no questions can be asked. Elyx would prefer if he was allowed to title his own things, but then again, he probably was not the first mage to think of that. One thing that Elyx noticed was that titles did not reflect off of everything. There were some rumors about some corrupt legal mages. Of course, there would be none about and legal sided dark mages those mages would have their heads placed on the chopping block for that. But even in some of the Rune Knights, in which Elyx taught himself one thing, never let himself be under any lower power under anyone else who does not have reason. If someone were to threaten him, he would not hesitate to strike back against them, no matter who they were. Especially if they had no good reason to. Elyx could do it, with his strength and speed, he could be fast enough to evade and counter an attack coming for him. His healing system was also full proof since he was able to cut down damage many times, and it heals a little bit of his body. Basically, he was able to heal more health than he was able to take it. In actual fights, this was going to give him the advantage over his opponents, including the ones he plans to fight now, the Pergrande Kingdom.

Yo, Elyx, this man seems a little bit weird. I've been getting my information, and though he is not viral, he left his marks here and there. Wanana check it out? Ignite asked as she pressed her reading glasses. When Elyx turned over to her, he noticed that she had a screen in front of her and there seemed to be words on it. The boy was willing to get information on their "Ally" so they were supposed to call him. The boy walked over to the She Phoenix, then stood by her side so he could read what she was reading. Yeah, enlighten me a little bit. The boy replied as he looked at the screen to see if he could find the information to it. Ignite locked her mouth in a neutral position, scanning her eyes through the screen to see what she would find. The boy looked at the screen as well, then saw a file with his name on it. The boy didn't know what that was, but he then looked at the file and saw that there were many files as well, each of them being guild members. This was odd, why would Ignite have this sort of thing anyways? Hey Ignite, what are those files? Can we open one? Elyx asked before pointing over to a random one. The She-Phoenix nodded her head as she doubled tapped onto the file, and it turned out that there was a camera in there. And... it was in a ladies room. Elyx and Ignite's faces both turned read and their eyes became tiny little dots for that moment. The both of them knew what to do. They struggled since they both wanted to do it, they pushed each others arms out of the way to fight for the camera. It was such a sight that neither of them should be seeing. Finally, they were able to click off, and the both of them felt like ripping their eyeballs out of their sockets. Never again will they click a camera folder. What was that even anyways, and did Elyx have one!?

Ignite... Please don't tell me there are cameras for every guild member in the guild. Elyx said as he closed his eyes. Whatever this thing was that Ignite got, it was most certainly not something they were going to keep, and if Elyx had to destroy such an expensive item that Ignite probably used his jewels to get, then so be it. But who installed the cameras though, and who would it be for both men and women? After this job, he was going to open his file to see where his camera is located, then track it down in his room to see if he could destroy it. There was no reason to be spying on him and the guild. Hopefully the guild can handle this, because Elyx was not going to run through the whole town just to make sure that this was a camera free environment. Ignite continued to scroll through the information until she then finally found one mage, then tapped onto it. Luckily, there was no camera on him, but there was a report on him though. Ignite put her glasses to her nose once again before wiping the back of her hand against her nose, causing a bit of red to show. Blood, it had that bad an effect on her. The boy did not want to check his nose for blood, he was scared that there might be some just ready to come out. From there, the She Phoenix began to read. His name is Davey. He lives alone. 38. And he has 3 cats. Ignite began to read, and already the both of them knew that they were teaming up with someone that is branded a loser. How nice to know they they are hanging out with someone who would be 40 and still a virgin. Whatever the case, they still had to listen so...

It turns out, he uses Ice magic as well. Supposably he calls it the Frozen Duck. Ignite said, only for Elyx to just simply walk away, his hope draining already. That was the person they had to keep safe? Then they were screwed, that mage sounded weak as hell, and Elyx knew about the security at the gates of Pergrande. So far, if this were a movie, the ratings are in, it's S**t. Elyx then breathed in and out when he realized that he was feeling just a little bit cranky today, and that maybe he should tone it down a little bit. After all, in similar situations, he was normally willing to protect people and save people from having the chopping block blade cut down onto the back of their throats. Onto the less gory details, the both of them were going to have to track down the Frozen Duck. Well, on the bright side, if people actually gave him a title, he probably had a reason for it, so the both of them shoulder be able to find him. Maybe he could be of some use, or maybe cranky Elyx might be right and he might just be a weight on their shoulders. Regardless of the situation, they were going to save the Raccoon. All right, I think I have heard enough about this weird Frozen Duck man, lets find him in the Kingdom and save the Raccoon. Elyx said as he then looked down to his boots, they felt heavier for some reason. And that was when Elyx remembered the limitation bracelets on his wrists. He needed to train himself, he did not feel responsible enough to completely shatter the ground below him. This is to make sure he did not go out of control, he knew how much of a child he acted like, yet the amount of power he had, he would only take of the bracelets for a final resort.

Hey Elyx, you don't seem like yourself, you seem a little bit pissed off. Come on, train with me, get all the stress out! Ignite exclaimed as she put her fists up and jumped from left to right and left again in a loop. Elyx would normally say no at a time like this, but he needed to naturally sharpen his instincts and his speed, if he wanted to mix that with the boosts, he could be an unstoppable ninja. Ignite was the only person, other than Kakuma, who he would consider an opponent in his guild. Then again, he has yet to see the skill of many, but he heard of one being B rank, and that one is being a little corrupt. Elyx had yet to meet this person, but while he was a guild ace, he will make sure there is no overthrow, because that person will then have to speak to Elyx, and by speak, he meant that they will have to answer to Elyx, and metaphorically, the questions are not going to be easy to answer, not with Knight Iris and Leviathan Iris. The boy did need to let out some stress, training with Ignite was probably going to be the best of ideas.

All right. Elyx said with a competitive smile on his face before looking over to their gym. They could train for a good ten minutes in there before they go anywhere else. But you better not cry when I kick you ass in the end, all right? With that, Ignite put her palm out and turned her head the other way, as if shunning Elyx away from her sight. With that, the boy took off his left arm bracket, forcing his armor to shatter to pieces of light and form inside of his closed knapsack. When he opened in again, the armor will fall out from the hole above. It was rather hard to explain.

Elyx and Ignite both changed into their flexible yet firm Gi's, both of them looking great with this uniform. Neither of them were going to be using weapons or magic armor, the goal was simply to get one to tap out. There were a few things for Elyx consider while doing this, Ignite has gone through a lot of training to keep up so her reflexes and speed are bound to be incredible. Her power can overpower him, so he should make sure to keep his defenses up. He needs to make sure he did not activate any abilities by accident. Still though, he knew her mentality, and he was able to read her patterns like a book. If he were to calculate his timing correctly, and thinks that he knows what Ignite would do next and act accordingly, he knows where to strike and what techniques he could use. The both of them stood in front of each other now, ready combat formation. You're the one who will get the ass kicking. Don't think I can't fight just because I learned from you. Ignite said before she then launched a first attack. Observation skills, right strike to the face, the left fist. Elyx blocked the attack by gripping the fist, but the impact forced his body to jolt back a little bit, but none of the damage had been taken. Wanting to end this quickly, Elyx tightened the grip to make sure the She Phoenix could not get out. His right foot kicked high so that this move can be carried out successfully, trying to go over their arms. Before he could jump with his left foot to put her in an arm lock, she caught his right foot with her right fist, the blow not making her jolt make. With a twist of both arms and the lack of Elyx's balance, he was thrown in a spiral, but he landed on his feet at the end of the mat. Ignite was good, he taught her well, but this battle was just starting.

Elyx landed on his feet at the right time, any further and he would have been knocked off of the mat. That would probably upset the both of them, Elyx for losing and Ignite winning without using a submission. The She Phoenix made her move by running towards the boy, who was unable to predict the move she was going to do with that odd way she ran. She clearly was going for an attack, there was almost no space and she full well knew that. Finally, she jumped at him high, and the boy was ready for a high kick in the air, but suddenly, he felt two weights on his shoulders, causing him to rethink about what she was going to do. A Headscissor take out, what a move, but Elyx was able to see it coming right in time. When Ignite tried to force her weight to the side, the both of them stumbled, but Elyx held her up by her hips, causing him to hold them both and stop her from moving. What!? No way! Ignite exclaimed aas she made a move to escape, but Elyx then threw her onto the ground onto her back, inflicting a little bit of damage in the process. Ignite was a little startled, but was able to block a stomp from above by catching the foot, then unbalanced the boy to the side, who ended up hopping so that he could remain balanced. Ignite then kicked behind his leg to make him fall forward. The boy ended up doing a pushup to get himself back up, the foot being let go of since the She Phoenix thought she had him. The both of them ended up getting up onto their feet once again, this was just only the beginning of the training.

The both of them had to focus a little bit more energy onto their attacks since they both raised their speed an power, it seemed they were holding back. That was to be expected, they were A ranked after all, if what they did before was the best of their power, the guild was flawed in the rankning system. This time, with each impact was wind, the both of them being that powerful now. Elyx started off by aiming a punch for Ignite's stomach. The She Phoenix jumped back to respond to that, then backflipped the fist away from the boy, who took critical damage to the hand, feeling the burn in it. It does not seem to be a good idea to attack with it from this point on. It's time to go into the air. Ignite aimed a punch to Elyx's left cheek, swinging to the side as she did so. The boy ducked under the attack before covering his injured fist with his left hand, then shoved his elbow to the side into Ignite's stomach. This caused her to jump, but somehow, she didn't flail in pain, which instantly put her at an advantage. It took less time for her to jump from the sudden shock than to get back up from the attack like that. Ignite wrapped her arms around Elyx's neck, causing him to stumble a little and resist, but his flow was cutting off. There was still hope, the boy rolled vainly to get her behind him, on top of him would screw him over worse. He would then slam the back of his head against her nose to get her off. He moved his head back to knock her off, her grip weakening as he did it. Finally, a chance. The felt his eyes recovering since he lost a bit of oxygen. He then got up onto his feet, Ignite doing the same. They were slowly draining each other. Should they just stop it?

How do you feel now? Ignite asked, clearly remembering why these two had this session in the first place. Elyx on the other hand had forgotten, but now that he thought about it, the way he was able to get his over his tired stress, it felt amazing to him now. He was pumped up, ready to take on whatever was going to be in his way. The prison guards were not going to make it now, and that was just him in melee combat, he had a new set of spells he could use to completely destroy them. Ignite had an amazing, idea, to get out all of the negative energy, but keep all of the power behind it. Maybe though, maybe she just simply wanted to hit him and needed a good excuse. Regardless of why she did what she did, it worked on him, he felt like the fighting machine he was when he fought alongside the She Phoenix on all previous jobs. I never felt better, that battle felt great you know. Elyx said as he then bumped fists with Ignite, the both of them being able to transfer their alliance and make an impact on their charisma with each other. Whenever one is down, the other one is constantly reminded why they were partners in the first place. The boy of them had each others backs, together, with Frostfire and Cassie, they could just about defy physics if they felt like it. The both of them have to get out of their gym now and start off. Elyx felt a little bit bad for stalling with this training, but he then thought about it as an investment. The negative feelings he had towards this place was just too great, and would slow him down even more than if he took this time now to let it all out. Soon, with these thoughts, Elyx felt better.

The both of them had to exit, Elyx put on his armor and plaed his magic in the knapsack once again, mixed with the chocolate bars and the mass amount of water. Once that happened, the both of them made their way to the door, which was a glass staircase which lead to a double door out of there. Not the safest structure, but if anyone dared to attack his house, they get the beating of their life. This was something Elyx was allowed to do since he is in a neutral guild, he is not forced to behave because of the legal laws. If it were not for laws like those, he probably would be in a legal guild for the same reason legal mages were there. Then again, they all probably had different reasons for being there. Allison was once again a great example of that, she kills people to give them a better life in the afterlife. Not at all depressing goal for her, but for those who treasure their life rather than losing it, that was not the path that they wanted to take. Elyx, if he were in pain, he would rather be healed, which the little girl claimed she could do, but that was not something he was quite ready to believe. By her age, he was able to run away from a whole tribe and lie his way to survival. She had no reason to, and her face just could not keep a secret, or it was just simply that good. Regardless, the boy did not need to worry about that right now. There were other tasks at hand, such as actually finding a Frozen Duck. The both of them once again changed back into their usual attire, neither of them with severe injuries luckily, and they will eventually heal.

Well, I'm glad that is over. I still wonder about those cameras, and who installed them. I know you couldn't have done it, you don't know the engineering of technology yet. Elyx stated as the both of them began to cross the line of Black Rose out into the forest that separates them from the neutral grounds. Maybe it would do them a little bit better if they were away from any other cameras, which is why the boy said it now instead of any closer towards the guild. Ignite had a neutral and curious face on her at the same time, showing that she was not quite picking up with what the boy was trying to say. That was to be expected, she was not quite sure about what was wrong with cameras, though that last camera was anyways. Who was that guy anyways!? I know the lady, I've seen her plenty of times, but man! Elyx thought to himself, remembering the sight, trying to get it off of his mind. It was just not what he wanted to see again, but what has been seen can't be unseen. Yeah, I wish though, but I'm too busy to have enough motivation to care. I've got cooking, lock-picking, training, and studies, it's a bit much for me already. But what is wrong with cameras, I mean, other than that... Ignite said as she then crossed her arms and looked forward. Elyx knew what she meant, what was wrong with having people being watched? If they know they were being watched, then they would not do bad things. But the thing was, they definitely know they were being watched by a camera. The two people in the camera would not be doing that if they did know they were being seen... Or Elyx would like to hope they did not know.

Once the both of them cleared the forest, they realized once again that the sun truly did shine bright instead of barely shining back in the Neutral grounds. The grass was actually green, and now the both of them were in the Meadows. The wind blew gently instead of of bringing out intimidation whenever it did in the Neutral Grounds. Instead of running like usual, the both of them had to walk since the speed boosts for Elyx were no longer activated. This would probably take a few hours of walking, as opposed to the usual 15 minutes of running at blurring speed. Regardless, the boy was wiling to give this a shot, he needed to contain the power in him until the time for emergencies arrived. The both of them have until morning, walking should just take a few hows, searching might take another hour, resting their tired legs may take another 30 minutes, but after all of that, they should be back on track. Meanwhile, the boy needed to think about his plans for Shadelle, they were going to pay for what they have done. First, he needed to get stronger, no duh. But what he would also need are connections. Support to back up his rage for what the old country did to him. No matter how powerful of a wizard he becomes, there is nothing in the world that could let him attack the army of Shadelle alone. There was a huge population, in the country, over 100,000 altogether. If he entered alone, many of their S ranked mages could simply catch him without a sweat being broken, they were just simply that powerful. That, and they used Lerale magic as well, which is equivalent to Elyx's own Lerale magic. They had their band, Elyx had his Violin, who would make the biggest amount of sound in the end?

Once again your mind is lost in Shadelle? Elyx, you sometimes need to think about other things. You will get there someday you know. Ignite explained, once again able to notice when he stares off in space. Whenever a moment like that occurred, the She Phoenix was full well aware of what was going on to the boy. It was just not natural for him to be thinking about things that made him angry or thirsty for revenge. But still though, if he never planned things out, he would never be able to conquer the land of Shadelle, make it reborn. The goal was half genocide, but he wanted to spare those who were innocent, the rebellion in Shadelle, they were able to help him. Still though, the boy was unable to confirm where the rebellion was located, he was Naive as well and thought Shadelle was fine it was. Good thing he was wrong and noticed it instead of being wrong and staying. Cain was not going to rule for long. Ignite, I am imagining the people who suffer because of Cain and what he has done, and I doubt Nimpha was able to do the same thing to them what she did to me. There is nothing blocking their memories from everything they thought is normal. Elyx explained before looking at the meadows. Everything seemed so peaceful, so beautiful. It was all his now, nothing in Shadelle was every considered his territory. There was nothing to defend except the throne of the Tyrant, in which no one has ever made an attempt to do. Elyx did not want that throne either, it was something that represented tyrants, all that have sat there treated their subjects like chess pieces. That was how his parents died, and Cain thought nothing of it.

Hey Ignite, remember back in the Dungeon when you threatened to put two new holes in my nose if I shouted so loudly like that again? Please don't tell me you, by any chance... Have a Glock. Elyx said before looking over to the She Phoenix. A sly smile was on her face, and now he wanted to grab the Glock and shoot her in the kneecap. She pulled a Glock from the right pocket that the boy never even knew she had, wait... no, she clearly had no pockets. She did have however some sort of weapon belt under her skirt... When did she get that? The more Ignite showed, the worse he felt for his wallet, because he knew Ignite did not have a different income when it came to money. Whatever else she had probably took a hit into his wallet as well, which probably was not safe for the wallet. Come on now, I have to defend myself somehow now right? This is just a precaution just in case something bad may happen. The She Phoenix said to the boy. The boy had his eyes half closed at how stupid of an excuse that was, it was clear that she just wanted a gun to play with. That was extreme, and too dangerous for her to do, then again, since when did she care about either? Said the fire Phoenix girl that can manipulate all sorts of fire with just a flick of a wrist. Elyx said as he then received a little shove from the side from Ignite. It was worth it to call her out on such an excuse, full well worth the smaller amount of credit that Ignite gave to him anyways. The boy of them were halfway through the meadows at this point, if they continued to talk to each other, they can clear into Pergrande Kingdom in no time.

You know, you should be careful with that firearm, play with it too much and it might accidentally fire. Elyx stated as Ignite began to spin the gun on her finger, where the trigger is located. Too violent of a move and BAM! Game over for that unlucky sucker who got in the way. Ignite did not seem too worried about it though, she even made an attempt to reassure Elyx that she knew that she was doing, which never worked and normally made him worry some more. Trust me on this one Elyx! On the ship, I know how to shoot the Sniper Rifle on the Crows Nest, I think I am sure when a gun is going to fir- With that, the gun triggered and fly by Elyx's eyes, a bit of his brown hair got cut off, a few strands of hair. The boy watched with his light brown eyes locked onto the gently swaying pieces of brown as they were carried away by the wind. The boy gripped one of them and looked at it, the look back up to Ignite, who was looking at her gun as if it were broken. Elyx walked up to her and snatched the gun right out of her hand, in which she didn't see coming and tried to get it back, but Elyx knew way better than to fall for that. From now on, I'm the adult that's carrying this thing. And when we get home, we're going to sell this thing to a pawn shop. Come on Ignite, that was completely stupid. Elyx stated as he then put the gun in his knapsack. The both of them were getting closer, the Pergrande Kingdom will show them signs once they get there. For example, the guards will try to mess with Elyx and Ignite in a non-joking sort of way. He heard they were willing to trigger fights, which was not something he would like about them, but he was more than willing to get them pissed off with him if they were only getting in his way.

The both of them continued walking, the gates of the city were being shown to the both of them. They were so close, yet it never felt so far with the speed that the both of them were going. If Elyx were to run now, he would probably be out of breath by the time he ended up there. And Ignite was forced to match his pace, she was not as good with directions as the Violinist was. Maybe this whole bracelet restriction was not a good idea, it was a good idea however that he was able to make an escape latch on it. All Elyx had to do was clench his fists, then watch happily as the shackles were being lifted and shattered to pieces, no longer a burden, then he could fight freely once again. The boy then realized that something like that was going on with his guild as well, it seemed that more people were leaving as well, thinking they would find freedom. Elyx did not see it, then again, he worked hard and got much attention from Kakuma, maybe they felt neglected and wanted to be noticed. What if they worked just as hard and were not noticed because maybe they could not get the task done in time? That would be a sad story to tell, one of trying so hard but not being noticed. It was like how kids were told, "It does not matter if you win or lose, just as long as you have tried your best." Then that gets shoved back in everyones face for not being able to win. The world was just simply a cruel place with rules like that. Survival of the fittest, if you were unable to fight the fight, you were unable to join the top dogs. Now he began to feel bad, this might have been his fault.

It seems like there is a guard in the way of things. How about we go talk to him now shall we? Remember, we should not cause Violence unless it is most certainly needed. Elyx reminded Ignite, knowing her personality for being destructive and willing to get rid of anything that gets in between her and the jewels that the job gave to her. Which is probably why the enemies receive a terrible side of Ignite that not even Elyx wants to deal with. Now if Elyx were to tell her what to do, there was always a 50% chance she would do what he ordered if it meant keeping peace. You speak nothing of lies! Arrest them! They are spies! One of them yelled, and all ten of them made their way towards Elyx and Ignite. The both of them looked at each other to confirm what they should do, and they most certainly did have a plan once they nodded their heads. The ten knights were ready to arrest, but not to fight, that was their biggest mistake. On the left hand, the ball of light shattered to pieces of illusion like light. They swarmed all around within a 2 foot radius to form a shape of the instrument. It was his odd looking instrument, the Lerale Prototype: Excel Violinin. The giant Violin has formed, and Elyx was ready to play. In his other hand, the pieces of light began to form into his Violin Bow, the tool he needed in order to actually play his music, but more importantly, cast out his Lerale spells. The boy locked his place as he then shifted his point of his feet to the ground, which surprisingly kept them in place. The next piece he was going to play was going to enhance his speed and awareness, he could face all of these men in combat any day when he used this spell. It lasted fairly long while he used it. The song allowed him to use his Violin to inject wind into his bloodstream. This allowed him to speed up his movements and be as light as air. His body felt the wind in his blood, and now it was time for a fight. He pulled out both blades from his sheathes and began to run towards the men, who thought Elyx an Ignite would simply hand themselves over to them. That was a terrible mistake on their part, and now they were going to deal with an Elyx who regained his original speed, and a dual-wielder as well.

Come here you little- With that, one guard tried to grab Ignite, who put out her palm instantly and revealed a fireball to show that she was a power to not mess with. The guard pulled out his sword and sliced upwards against her hand, but she was able to stop the blade from going any further. A bit of red can be seen on Ignite's hand as she gripped the blade, but the man clearly saw her as a power that should not be messed with if she had enough strength to catch a blade without flinching. Ignite locked her eyes with the man that tried to cut off her hand, the man being struck with more intimidation than anything else he will experience in his life. The next time you mess with Elyx, the next time you mess with me, I'll make sure you don't get off with just a little bit of pain. Ignite warned as she gripped the blade by the the edge and pulled it out of the mans grip. She then entered the blade back into the man through his armor and everything, the sword almost breaking in the process, but Ignite was strong enough to have it pierce through the defense and through the mans stomach. Getting that sword out was not going to be an easy task. The boy in the meantime had to deal with the other 9 men, who all thught of him to be the bigger threat, which was only why one of them were sent to get Ignite. Once again, underestimation will only lead them into danger, and though they had good numbers, they should have at least called in back up instead of thinking he was just one wizard alone. He was a Rising Star for a reason, he was given credit in a Bounty Hunting guild for a reason, none of that was bluff.

The next attack was aiming to behead him, but the instincts of the boy were raised heavily, letting him see the attack and duck right under it before he jumped into the air, flipping forward while extending his blade out with speed. The blades were spinning fast enough to make him run around as a wheel, and he knew exactly where the enemies were as well. The guards began to run, but there was not much space to go when Ignite could just simply be grabbed and used as a hostage. One tried to wrap their arms around Ignite to put her in a choke hold, this only worked so well since the She Phoenix swarmed herself in fire, right where the men were, almost burning them to death. They were all knocked back by the effect, heavy burn wounds were inflicted on them. The men were one by one, weakly standing back up onto their feet. Elyx stopped rolling as a wheel when he saw Ignite, then stood by he when he noticed how the men were still trying to fight. Being ordinary knights, there was not much they could do. Ignite looked over to Elyx, who noticed a bit of red on Ignite's hand. The boy opened up her palm, in which the She Phoenix clenched her teeth and winced one of her eyes. There it was, a fresh sword wound, and now an angered Elyx. Rare was it when the violinist would get angry, oh but now that he was, the men were going to have to pay with much more pain for hurting his student. His green eyes became to get swarmed with white speckles, showing his hatred for the knights of Pergrande.

The boy wasted no time to use Mystic Knight Iris's effect, which lifted his body into the air quickly, giving the illusion of flight. The Artifact Sword glowed with soft silky white light as the boy held it, ready to swing. The 100 men were in the 45 meter range of the ability, Ignite being by his side so that she would not take any damage. The boy swung the blade to the side like a composer for an Orchestra, and a giant wave of white light shot through the ruins, inflicting B rank damage to all of the men in the opposing side of him, all of their weapons also detached from their hands as well due to the devastating blow causing heavy knockback. They were unable to move at this point, hopefully there were not witnesses in the gate, the both of them were going to have to fight their whole way through if that were the case. The boy looked down at the circle of knights around them. That was a result of the Shattered Iris, and now his feet hit the ground delicately. Ignite was used to such a devastating attack show in front of her eyes, the She Phoenix just watched with a smile and her arms crossed. The boy began to feel his eyes go back from the greenish color with white speckles to light brown once again, lowering the boy to the ground as he then felt satisfied with what he did. They should be knocked out for quite a while, and at that moment, the both of them were able to walk in. Before they did that, Elyx once again locked his eyes onto Ignite's hand, wanting to heal it with Calm Meadows, or at least make sure it doesn't get any worse by at least pouring water onto it. She clenched that same fist though before insisting. It's nothing I can't handle, I can get over this easily. Let's just keep going, eh?

Very impressive, maybe you both are not as useless as you seemed to be. At first, I thought you were both some stupid villagers that were about to get caught by those guys. A weird voice said at the entrance. As Elyx and Ignite both looked towards that direction, they noticed a weird looking man with a lot of white and blue clothing. It was not that hard to compare him to ice, which may have been the point if he were the Frozen duck. What made it painfully obvious was how he was in the village, which is just about saying "Look! I'm an outcast with a hat that spells loser! Arrest me!" But despite how badly Elyx wanted to say that, no matter how badly this man deserved it, it was their client, and he had to treat the client with respect. The Frozen Duck, if this man were it, then that was step one done at least. If he had the ability to stealth himself long enough to watch Elyx and Ignite, he had at least a little bit of use. There was a bit of cowardice with how he tried to talk to them from a distance away. Well, that was not what made him a coward. Elyx tried to step a few steps forward to talk to him face to face, but he shook his head and took a few steps back. But how do I know you are not going to be doing the same thing to me? With that, Ignite and Elyx both had a sweat drop moment as the duck man just said that. He was arrogant and weird, what a nice combination. Elyx decided to walk anyways, no matter how much of a coward the man was being. Ignite followed behind him as well, and the both of them were finally in the village.
