Thunder with its loud and powerful roar while lightning with it fast and piercing strikes, no wonder electricity is a well sought after element to wield. Electricity is extremely versatile whether it be offensively or defensively. From wrapping you hands and feet into for that extra boast in power to giving yourself a kick start to speed up your reflexes, there is many things a mage is capable when mastering this element.
However simple bashing and piercing isn't all, a truly gifted mage can make true use of this element by using its ability to shock, stun or even cripple a foes nerves system. But even with all these gift there are still thing to watch out for, with earth magic being your biggest enemy. Raiden uses his magic for more melee purpose, incorporating martial arts techniques and striking for a more up close n personal touch.

-Enhanced strength-Raiden strength is slightly above that of a Olympic body builder
Eyes of the Lightning Demon-Raiden can shift his eye sight to any variation in the electromagnetic spectrum ranging from microwaves, radio waves,x-rays, infrared(near,mid and far),gamma radiation,ultraviolet radiation,visible radiation and terahertz radiation. This is only possible due to delving more into his lineage of the lightning demon as they were to true pioneers of the art. Cannot be used if Raiden has less then 15%mp.

Strengths:
- Disrupting of the Nerves System
- Hitting a victim with a strong enough discharge of electricity could possibly stun them for a duration of time.
- Not effected by water
Weaknesses:
- Weak against earth magic
- Can hurt comrades
- If the lightning comes in contact with earth magic it can be grounded
- Raiden uses his magic primarily for offensive so he will have few defensive moves in his arsenal.
Lineage: Lightning Demon:

- Description: In the dawn of time there were demons that were born from lightning, and became masters of the element to the point where they could turn into lightning. However, as the Aeons passed, some of these creatures grew tired of their superiority over others and secretly passed on their gift to a small group of humans, thinking them to be the most-suited race for their powers. Those humans, in turn, began passing down the abilities that were bestowed upon them to their successors, though as the generations passed, the abilities passed down have slowly perished and become weaker.
Ability: Lightning is formed around the user, causing anything that touches the user to be shocked, doing damage based on the user's rank, however with each subsequent electrocution of the same person, the damage dealt to them gets reduced by half a rank. While activated the user can move twice as fast as they would normally travel.
Usage: The lineage can be activated a maximum of once per thread, lasting for 4 posts.

Description: Raiden forms a large electrical sphere in between both hands then launches it into the air about 15ft. The sphere now oversee's about a 16 yard circle. Anyone except Raiden tries to leave the circle boundary will be met with a lightning bolt that paralyzes the perpetrator for one post. The bolt itself locks on to the electrical impulses of the enemies nerves system and with Raiden being the creator is not affected. This would fully effect a D-rank mage, slow a C-rank and not effect any mage B rank and above.
Strengths: -Traps multiple enemies.
-Cannot be manipulated by other lightning uses
-the orb cannot be destroyed unless hit with a spell of higher rank
Weaknesses: -Can leave if they go underground
-If the enemy has some type of earth armor the bolt can be nullified.
-Can only hold enemies of same spell rank or lower.
-Raiden cannot move the sphere once released into the air.

Description: By swinging ones arm(Produces from the elbow down to finger tips) or leg(produces from the foot all the up to the knee) in a single direction Raiden can send a crescent blade of electricity flying towards a single target at lightning speed to distance of 16yds. The attack itself can pierce armor and break barriers. Can only break weak armor and D-rank barriers
Strengths: -Sharp as a blade
-Pierce armor and barriers
-Cannot be manipulated by other lightning users.
Weaknesses: -Can be deflected
-If used in rapid succession will quickly drain mp.
-Can be blocked by earth.
-Can be dodge if timed correctly
-Vulnerable to lightning rods
- Snap Shock:

Description: Raiden simply snaps his fingers and any enemy within a 16 yard distance with have a bolt of lightning try an strike them from the sky. The spell itself is rather weak but the true purpose it to stun the target in place.Also does light shock damage.
Strengths: -Can be used on multiple targets.
-Basic and instant cast.
-Cannot be manipulated by other lightning users
Weaknesses: -If used on multiple targets the cooldown and mp usage are stacked for every extra target.
-Weak damage
-Can be costly if used in rapid succession.
-Vulnerable to lightning rods

Description: Coating and protecting both his hands(Full hand to covering the elbows)and feet(full foot all the way to cover the knee) electricity Raiden can cause heavy melee and shock damage to his target. More so if Raiden uses this spell to block a melee attack or weapon attack then the attack shall be stunned for a one post duration.

-Protects appendages from weapon and melee damage
Weaknesses: -The electric element can be nullified by earth armor(but not the impact damage).
-Must be in melee range.
-Can drain mp quickly if used in rapid succession

Type: Lightning Offensive
Duration: 5 post, damage over time

Description: This attack is very simple. Raidens perspective body part being a hand,elbow,knee, kick(from shin to foot) or head must make contact with the opponent for this to take effect. Once contact is made a bit of electrical energy is transferred to the impact zone. Once done the energy will begin to slowly burn away at the opponent from the inside, causing electrical burns C-rank damage over time to the muscles of the impact area.
Strengths: -Can fatigue opponent from constant damage.
-Damages with electrical and physical strength.
-Can do serious damage if use correctly
Weaknesses: -Melee range
-Can be block with the right magic application
-Has to make contact
-Can be blocked by earth armor
- Lightning Veil:

Description:Raiden covers himself in a thin veil of electricity, increases his already enhanced speed and maneuverability greatly. The veil can also block one C-rank spell and 2 D-rank spells before dissipating.
Strengths: -Lightning speeds
-Close gaps quickly
-Gives edge in close combat
Weaknesses: -If veil is broken early then the magic power is wasted.
-Used in rapid succession can drain mana quickly
-Cannot block weapons
-Cannot use if grounded.

Type: Lightning,Aoe
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 3 Post
Description: Raiden brings up and extends his arms. With a foot of space between them Raiden begins to form orbs of compressed electricity around each hand with a visible electrical current connecting the orbs in the foot of space between them. The orbs are 2x the size of Raidens fist and once that size is met the orbs are fire at once at the target. Once it makes contact there will be a 50 ft explosion of heavy electrical damage with that centered target taking 100% of the rank damage while all others caught in the blast take 75% of the rank damage.
Strengths: -Does heavy damage
-Can take out multiple opponents in blast radius
-Can incapacitate an enemy

-Can hurt comrades
-Doesn't home in on target
-Can be blocked by a shield of equal or higher rank
