Description: Sandstorms have been appearing frequently, revealing lost treasure amongst the valleys of domes; attracting treasure hunters of all sorts. A traveling merchant was walking through the Forgotten Desert with a small team of treasure hunters hoping to find something buried amongst the ruins. A sandstorm arose around the merchant's group and they became under attack. The merchant's team was slaughtered; where as he managed to escape. He spent days in the desert, lost, until finally he came across other travelers and hitched a ride to the nearest village. Once in the village, the merchant was rushed to the hospital where a stinger was found embedded into his spine. The stinger was that of a scorpions', and he was given antitoxin. The merchant, now said to be hysterical from being in the sun too long and poison from a scorpion, is trying to get people's attention about the monsters hiding in the sandstorms in the streets of the village. He also mentions about a valuable treasure amongst the ruins where his group was allegedly attacked; and is willing to pay for anyone to help him go reclaim it as long as they are understanding the stakes.

This creature's presence is said to bring abnormal heat waves in the already blistering hot desert, as well as vicious sandstorms.

The two of them were off to the freaking Desert once again. Was there a pattern in this? No? Ok. This would be the 5th time Elyx had to take this job, but once again, there were no other jobs for him to take, so of course, he was going to have to go out and fish for the lost men at see. Elyx realized that by this time, this 5th time they went to the desert would give him enough credit as if he did an A rank job in the guild. Being an A rank mage can not be too far from here now could it? The boy tilted his head to the side as he placed his hand against his face, clearly bored of going through this again. This time, he did not even pack up, which of course Ignite questioned, but he knew what he was getting himself into by doing this anyways, so he decided to just brush it off. He did not like this job anymore, it used to be there to be easy and they would end up with 4 treasures in the end. Now he would end up with just merely another 4, one of them probably being empty again. How come these people get so lost so easily? He understood that they were not wizards, but you would think that after 4 times you might be a little bit careful. And why couldn't the person sending the job requests even bail them out in the first place and make everyones lives much easier. ou can't send a letter thorough the desert without someone to deliver, that was just impossible during these times. Elyx has been tempted to buy one of those communication orbs, one for him and Ignite so they would not have to use the magic of instantly lettering to get their asses saved. It was clear that Elyx did not like this mission anymore, but if he wanted to get a living and survive with a guard and the rent, he would have to work and get jewels. Elyx has gotten so used to the heat that he did not even bring any ice packs, bottled water, or anything of the sort. It was hot, but the heat no longer bother Elyx anyways. If anyone wanted to talk about hot, they can go to the Volcano, then they will not be screaming in the desert anymore. Elyx remembered how he was about to be knocked out due to having a heat stroke. there was at least some excuse for him doing that, but the other times he had no reason since he brought an ice pack with him this time.
