A traveling merchant was walking through the Forgotten Desert with a small team of treasure hunters hoping to find something buried amongst the ruins. A sandstorm arose around the merchant's group and they became under attack. The merchant's team was slaughtered; where as he managed to escape. He spent days in the desert, lost, until finally he came across other travelers and hitched a ride to the nearest village. Once in the village, the merchant was rushed to the hospital where a stinger was found embedded into his spine. The stinger was that of a scorpions', and he was given antitoxin. The merchant, now said to be hysterical from being in the sun too long and poison from a scorpion, is trying to get people's attention about the monsters hiding in the sandstorms in the streets of the village. He also mentions about a valuable treasure amongst the ruins where his group was allegedly attacked; and is willing to pay for anyone to help him go reclaim it as long as they are understanding the stakes.

There was always something about this place and Elyx that attracted each other to each other once again. The boy was so done with this, but the desert wants to see him again, once again, no other jobs were available for him anyways. It was good though, after this job he was officially done, he was promised an exam to be taken for A rank. The list had been looked over, his job clearing speed has been impressive and the way they were done has shown that he could go for the A rank. Once that happens, his next goal would be a Wizard Saint, and he did not mind fighting for it if all the spaces were filled. He would still need to do things that the Magic Council would think of to be worthy. The A rank missons should help him plenty with that, so he was not scared of what would happen when he would be questioned. To be a Wizard Saint though, who would imagine and expect it to happen. It would have been so beautiful if he was able to end this, to get to Shadelle with a reason for them to fear him, for Cain to bow in order for his town to be saved. It won’t, that was the least it deserved, but it will be given an example of what will happen in the future. Elyx will take the innocent ones, all of those who felt like they have been trapped, the students, teachers, none of the guards and the ones with luxery will all stay behind for their wicked ways. To gain comfort there, you had to do many bad things to the villagers, so they have no reason to come with Elyx into Fiore. Now if Cain was willing for war, Elyx was going to have to get into war with them. Still though, creating a trigger would be a bad idea that is not going to make him worthy of being a Wizard Saint. He needed to stop trouble, not create it. Going in for revenge like that would not be easy if he still wanted it at the time, which he probably would. What now for Elyx? Well, it was a simple answer actually. Just simply go out into the Desert and find the lost group of men once again, then become an A ranked mage, then work hard on the A ranked spot. He then would have to continue proving his worth, Wizard Saint is definitely going to do that. If he could become the Guild Ace of the guild, not just one of the three, he would be able to unlock power unlike no other power.
