A sandstorm arose around the merchant's group and they became under attack. The merchant's team was slaughtered; where as he managed to escape. He spent days in the desert, lost, until finally he came across other travelers and hitched a ride to the nearest village. Once in the village, the merchant was rushed to the hospital where a stinger was found embedded into his spine. The stinger was that of a scorpions', and he was given antitoxin. The merchant, now said to be hysterical from being in the sun too long and poison from a scorpion, is trying to get people's attention about the monsters hiding in the sandstorms in the streets of the village. There we no jobs for either of them to take anymore, all of the B rank jobs had been finished by the three of them. That’s right, the three of them. First, there was Elyx Reiaki, Black Rose mage and certainly not the guy to bring to a pool party for special reasons involving his childhood. This may or may not still haunt him today, even though it has been 1 years since the drowning boy was scared. Still to this day would he avoid the water whenever he could. He loves to eat candy, or anything sweet for that matter, but nothing could beat a chocolate bar. He would do anything for that chocolate, theft, attacks, bounties, anything. Ignite Rosella was his partner, she lived with him and had been raised by him her whole life. Though Elyx had no idea how to raise a baby bird, with much help from the guild, he was able to help her with the ways of life. It started out when she was born, her existence proving to be from a feather of the Immortal Phoenix itself. She was a baby phoenix with barely any control of her fire, and she has always been with Elyx her whole life since then. Even as a baby, she has taken a huge interest in jewels often dragging Elyx along to gain as much as she possibly could, bringing a huge burden on the boy who needed to go along in order to get them. This was because the Phoenix was not able to get the jewels on her own since she was only considered a pet in the eyes of the Magic Council. Even to this day she is just considered a pet, and needed Elyx in order to carry out the jobs that people set out, no matter how big or small they are. Her body suddenly grew to match a humans one day while Elyx was sleeping, and he made the mistake of almost attacking her when she jumped on top of him, thinking at that point that she was an intruder. There was fire around her body, so he was given a little bit of a break for that mistake. Other than that, he had no reason to attack her. The boy found out that she was Ignite, and not only that, but a more annoying version of her. Though a bit clumsy and innocent, she still forces jobs on him and will sometimes use force against him in order to get her way, whether it is to go on a specific job or just simply getting the last slice of cake. Even then was she still fun to have around.
