The three of them walked into the shop, and the sign flipped from closed to open. The two bounty hunters and the shop owner walked in. Behind the counter was where the client was, Elyx had his ear pressed against the counter as he was trying to sleep. The tile counter was like the glass that he had slept on just now so it was not hard for him to get a bit of rest there. Meanwhile, Ignite just looked at the boy and sighed. No matter what, she still felt like she could have done better. Maybe it was better for her to choose the harder jobs, it would be either those or the hellish attackers from his past. Wake me up whenever... Elyx mumbled, only for Ignite to hush him and pat his head. I don't even want to hear a peep out of you. You need to sleep, and if I hear anything come out from that mouth of yours, I'll make sure words aren't the only thing that will exit that big mouth of yours. Understood? Ignite ordered as she looked into Elyx's half closed eyes. His mouth turned into a small grin as he sealed them together. The boy closed his eyes just as Ignite wanted him to, and soon, he found himself sleeping.
Sheesh. What was he going through last night? The man asked as he tilted his head to the side. He was cleaning a couple of dishes, one for Elyx and one for Ignite. He wanted his customers to get what they were promised, their first meal being the best of all of the free meals that they would get here. Being so early, no other customers could see the train wreck that Elyx was right now. Not the friendliest of men arrived. Trust me, he didn't hurt them, but it took a lot of his energy to make them go away without pain. The goal was to scare them after all. Ignite explained as she put her right palm against her cheek as she looked down at the violinist. It seems he did a lot, I can't believe he did all of that just to help me. The man said as he continued to clean the dishes. From there, he began to cook, and Ignite was left there to worry.
