When Ideals Rest [FREE FOR ALL/FIGHTING ENCOURAGED/BYSTANDING IS CONSENT FOR INVOLVEMENT]

At first it was all about survival, a prehistoric natural instinct to preserve one self despite everything that was being thrown towards you. It was, no used the be the core of Karen's very being, every day, every hour in her life was about the single urge to live. Yet she'd never understood the meaning behind it, to her survival and living where the same thing. Until she'd met this man, discarding him as a weird vagabond at first she quickly learned that he was the most powerful man alive. And under his guidance, his supervision she'd changed. She'd learned the difference, she learned to live to be free from the earthly shackles that bounded her.

'Aaah! How explicitly wonderful' she said with a voice that squealed, a tone that almost sounded as a mixture of arousal and admiration. Her face with a red gloss on her cheeks, her eyes sparkling with joy. Not because of the actual destruction, or that people got hurt. But the fact that this was freedom, this was true living. Why shouldn't she set an entire building ablaze? Because that was the moral code the world they'd lived in? And her master, Reich Lyserg knew this, he had mastered this craft. She knew that this wasn't about hurting people, it was just because he could.

While she catched up with her master she shot out a pillar of flames from her fist into the nearest food stand, or whatever it sold. Karen didn't even looked, she'd just set it ablaze. 'Isn't this beautiful master!'

At the sound of an explosion, which was one of many, San Toku perked up, an insane grin already spreading across his face. Explosions of this magnitude and frequency only meant one thing: attack. Immediately, he sprang up from the bar he had been drinking at and ran to the scene of... chaos. Absolute chaos. Some man was lobbing explosive lacrima at shops, a woman had incinerated a food stall, people were running and screaming and crying. With a gleeful cackle, San stuck his head in the nearby fountain, washing off the make-up and hair dye, revealing his hideous facial scars and naturally bright green hair. He then quickly placed his black-and-red skull half-mask over his scars. He rushed back to the bar and lobbed a green fireball at it. It melted through the glass window and shot into the storeroom, causing an immense explosion by igniting the massive amount of alcohol inside. For a second, San hesitated. All that vodka, gone in an instant... What a waste... He then shrugged and turned around, making a beeline for another building.

Nikolai heard reports of several explosions in Talonia. He thought to himself, then stopped thinking when he heard a familiar name. After a shower, he ran out of the bedroom he was in, and ran towards the town square, where he saw his Guildmaster. "What the hell is going on? I heard reports of explosions and decided to check it out. So what is this about?"

Stein spent the day before going over all of his test subjects making sure they're all in their best condition possible. "How can I pass on this perfect chance to gather test materials." Once he uttered that he started to have his mad scientist laugh. He had a special armored case that could hold up to twenty vials of blood with him while he waited in Talonia for the signal to begin. Sitting in front of a fountain area full of people Stein waited for the signal to cause a little chaos.

                                                   BOOM!

With the loud explosions that went off Stein snapped his fingers which signaled for Spike to erupt from the ground with a crowd of people around him. "Spike feeding time." He said as his pet started turning that area into a blood bath. Summoning Crusher and Shocker in front of himself he let the armored spiked elephant run wild along with the five foot tall electric tarantula going on a feeding frenzy. "Crusher destroy any building that stands in your way and Shocker you're allowed to feed on any of the people of this town." With those orders his creations began to run wild with Crusher throwing the fountain into a nearby building and bulldozing through it causing the building to collapse with the armored spiked elephant on the other side unfazed, while Shocker was catching innocent people in its web and turning them into empty husks as all of their fluids were drained. A couple of people tried to run past Stein, but he wouldn't allow them to leave alive. Dropping the case he pulled out his plasma pistols and shot each of them in the chest and face with plasma bolts which killed them before they hit the ground. He started to laugh at the chaos he has caused in this area and it disturbed all of the people in the area that are still alive.

Rita had picked the wrong day to visit the city known as Talonia, overlooking the crowds from the top of one of the cities structures. Shortly, The building below her erupted into a fiery explosion, throwing her off and sending her flying towards the ground of the Talonia plaza. Emitting, a painful thud, Rita hit the ground, shoulder first, tumbling forward on her side.  Her body gradually skid to a stop and she released a series of coughs, choking on the smoke emerging from the flames of the city’s destruction... Everything was in chaos. W-What happened… Why was it happening?...

Clambered to her feet, her holding her shoulder which had probably been dislocated from the impact of that fall while the rest of her body was, sore and mildly burned in places. It was then that her sapphire and eyes locked onto the figure clad in a lab coat, standing  accost the street from her. There was no doubt that this man was contributing to the madness taking place, shooting and killing innocent bystanders who tried to escape.

Her face fixated into a grimace at the sound of his maniacal laughter which only grew louder with each civilian he slaughtered… Rita wasn't going to stand for this. Rita was afraid to say the least, Of course she was scared! Things had quickly turned to hell and the city had become overwhelmed by dark mages out of absolutely nowhere. However, Now wasn't the time for Rita to be afraid, She was a mage of Fairy Tail after all...  Disregarding the mutated monsters unleashing havoc behind her she prepared to attack their creator instead.

"Shadow Make: Spikes!" She chanted between gritted teeth. Rita came down onto her knees and slammed her palms into the ground. A magic circle span beneath her hands, as her shadow panned out in front of her, closing in on the mad man. In an instant the shadow split into five spiked shapes and jetted up out of the ground, fanning out to impale the target.

Stein saw a teenage girl stand before him and do something that caused a shadow to shoot towards him. By changing the matter of the ground from dirt to titanium the sound of something hitting the metal around him could be heard. "Hmm... a shadow user huh? I'll be able to make an interesting test subject from your DNA." Stein said as he snapped his fingers causing Spike to burrow underground then shoot out between him and the mystery girl. "Spike restrain her. Shocker, Crusher come here." With their orders given Spike spat a thirty foot cone of neural toxin coated webs at the girl as Crusher came running towards her and Shocker started to climb the building towards them.

Kitteh was finally in his masters territory."finally I am one with Tartarus".Kitteh whispered to himself'all who trespass Tartarus should die". Kitteh walked down the road of Talonia looking for any traitors
were was his master. He was to be as loyal as he could when his master needed him He ran up to
were he thought his master would be.Kitteh would come to his masters aid.

Rita found her attack blocked, the ground suddenly turning to titanium beneath the scientist and keeping her attack from breaking through the ground. She stared onward with surprise, quickly taking a defensive stance. “Wait?... Test subje-“ Before she could finish, Rita  faced with a massive two tailed scorpion which had suddenly made its way out of the ground between them.

Ordered by the Tartarus mage to do so, the scorpion spat up and launched what appeared to be a large spider web at her. Rita, failing to evade the attack in time was pushed back against a wall of a burning building, flames destroyed the place from its inside, yet to ignite it’s exterior. It’s surface was scorching hot and only burned her back even more. Forced to endure it, Rita found herself frozen in place and unable to move. Not because of the webs, (though that was another problem.) but because she had been paralyzed. The mage was unable to even blink let alone free herself from the substance pinning her against the surface.

She cringed and half closed her eyes as the spiked elephant creature charged in her direction while the electric spider descended the wall of the building towards her.  She used what strength she had and fought the paralysis just enough to open one of her clenched hands, proceeding to charge one of her spells.  Her signature magic circle spun flat against the surface of her hand. A moment passed, and then another, And a black net ripped through the surface of the circle and flew towards the experiment known as Crusher, stopping it in its tracks as the net caught and gradually shrank around him (if successful that was).  As for the spider, Rita didn’t have enough strength left to fight the neural toxins and to cast another spell. She prayed that they would ware off soon and that she would be able to find her way out of this situation before…... Her eyes pulsed with panic as she skimmed over the dead and drained human husks that were left dangling over in the tarantula’s web.

--HOUR BEFORE--

Daiko wakes up, his hair... basically everywhere. It was later than he usually woke up, but it didn't matter to him... He was pissed. There was yelling, screaming, and the sound of spells being cast. This was his day off.

"Hell.. Who cares about a fight..." He walks outside of his hotel, dressed in jeans, and a sweatshirt. No shirt under his sweatshirt, but he had his guns, weapons, and necklace. His little Pika pet was on his head, it's sleeping cap still on. He runs his hands through his soft hair, then stands, looking down at the scene. It was a small fight, and he'd just watch for now...

--NOW--

Daiko stares down from the top of a building, watching his companion Rita fighting some scientist. He was summoning these weird creatures, and she... was actually having trouble. Maybe this was an off day for her. Shrugging, he backs up about 20 meters, looking down at the cliff face.

Daiko started into a full-on sprint, a small cloud making a 'poof' noise behind him. Jumping off of the cliff, he starts to go his full speed, 36 meters per second ( about 81 mph ) flying down toward her. He then totally drops his speed and flying, falling down to the ground.

He purposefully spins through the air, leaving a trail of smoke, as well as increasing his momentum. Daiko is shooting through the air like a bullet, falling faster to the ground. Finally, he reaches the ground, putting all the momentum from his kick into a spinning axe kick down on the weird creature that was harming her. Whether it was in the black cocoon of death Rita just shot out or still alive and kickin', Daiko was about to smash the little thing with the heel of his foot. This most likely wouldn't kill it, just make it pissed... but.. hey, wishful thinking.

Bounding over to Rita, he rips her out of the gooey mess, wrenching her over his shoulders. He then does a parkour run up a wall, kicking with his legs and rearing up, floating safely above the crowd for now. 

He then feels a twang in his body, causing him to crash down to the ground, Rita landing on him. "I think i'm paralyzed..." He tries to move, and blinks slightly. The smoke face didn't show him covering up a blush, embarassed that he messed up that badly... 

"Mind helpin' me out?"

Stein decided to take this chance to collect a blood sample from the shadow girl before making a retreat. Pointing one of his plasma pistols at Crusher after the shadow net that was around him started to squeeze he shot a ball of energy at Crusher which swapped him with Collector. Collector quickly turned into its swarm form to get out of the net and waited for its orders. "Collector I want you to get a blood sample from that girl." With its order given it quickly flew over turning back into its regular form and stabbed just above the collar bone of Rita sucking a pint of blood from her in two seconds flat. Stein desummoned Collector and Shocker before giving spike his orders. "Spike we're leaving now." With his command given Spike quickly burrowed underground with stein jumping in after his pet. A claw popped out grabbing the briefcase and went back in the ground. With the speed that Spike burrowed at they were gone in a short amount of time with Stein turning sections of the ground in the tunnel to sand blocking off the tunnel which he then turned the sand into stone. Stein had Spike go towards the spot that Lyserg wanted some of us to meet at, but was still under ground enough so they aren't being caught in some of the large attacks that are sure to come.

It just so happened that that day, Talonia was being visited by a very large mage, a man belonging to the most important, or at least what should have been, peace keeping force in all of Fiore. Kaido Motomiji, of the rune knights, a seven foot two, four hundred and twenty five pound mountain of a man, clad in red armor and cloak, with his massive axe/hammer, gutcrusher in hand. He had come to town on a simple delivery trip for the knights, but he could never ignore such a sound as what came next.

BOOOOM!!!

An explosion tore through the streets of Talonia, and Kaido turned his head in the direction of the noise, taking off at high speed towards its source. He was forced to stop however as a large section of the wall near where he was simply....vanished! Kaidos eyes widened in surprise before he would rush towards it, reaching up to detach his massive cape as he ran. "Damn it damn it damn it. Talonia comes under attack, and no knights to be seen." he snarled before rounding the corner, coming from around a house, with gut crushr raised. Kaido took juast a few moments to survey the area before charging the group of dark wizards, fully intent on sending gutcrusher through them in one, brutal blow.

Kocho was in talonia looking for more Celestial Spirit keys to buy. She had always been on the search for new ones. She wanted one kind in particular, one that could alter gravity. She assumed that only one spirit could do it, Libra. But, she didn't have Libra. While walking to a shop that had been selling Celestial Spirit keys, she heard and explosion and turned her head toward it. She then looked back at the shop and it had disintegrated. She was scared of what may have caused it. She thought to herself,"Oh my god! My need for a gravity altering spirit just may be the death of me." She had what she normally carried. Her chain whip, and her three celestial spirit keys, Mikos, Sagittarius, and Pigxie. She started to run toward the smoke, then, she saw Daiko, her older brother, with someone on a rooftop. She started to run up on the roof to see what was happening.

By the time she had finally gotten up on the roof, Daiko had been leaving with two other people. She was curious as to where they were going. So she said,"Open! Gate of the Archer! Sagittarius!" And Sagittarius appeared before her. "Sagittarius! I need you to follow the people in front of us. But carry me please." Kochi said to Sagittarius. "Sure thing Miss Kocho" Sagittarius said. Sagittarius picked her up and put her on his back. They began to chase after Daiko, Rita, and Heero.

As San turned around, he spotted a young girl on the being carried by a man in a horse costume on the rooftop of a building. San grinned. The perfect target. He ran over to the base of the building, then triggered his Caustic Flame Blast spell, firing the twin blasts of fire straight downward. The force of the jets caused San to rocket 25 feet straight up, about fifteen feet above the roof of the building. The jets left a smoking crater in the ground where they struck. After the flames erupting from San's fists died out, he used the remaining height and momentum the spell had gave him to direct himself towards his target. He landed about two feet away from the young girl, cushioning his fall with a fist wrapped in green flames planted into the ground. San rose up slowly, an insane grin spread across his face as he advanced towards the young girl. A thin blade of green fire was emerging from his left hand and a green pistol was in the other.

Kihia was flying across the sky going speeds of mach five, heading straight for Talonia. Word had reached the halls of Lamia Scale that Talonia was suddenly attacked, without thinking Kihia had grabbed his gear and gotten in the Ikarones, and took off straight for Talonia. “Kihia we are about to arrive.” Icer had chimed that out, Kihia nodded and responded by getting up. “Stop the ship and hover above the nearest group of legal mages, I will assist them in the defense of the city, stay on standby afterword.”  Icer chimed her confirmation beep as the ship quickly slowed down above a roof top where four mages were running, being chased by another. Kihia recognized two of the front group being two mages from Fairy Tail, Heero and Rita, he had met or seen them during the Guild Masters conference. Kihia watched as the mage tailing the group formed two weapons in his hands, he frowned and jumped off the ship headed straight down in front of the tailing mage.

He landed on his feet making a small crater, but the wood of the Roof held firm. He then attempted to do a flipping kick at the mage who had armed himself to knock him back. Regardless if this was successful Kihia would do the following actions. “Go back to where you came, before harm comes to you…” Kihia would wait a minute then took off the group of mages that was running somewhere. He ran past the mage that was being carried by a man in a horse suit, and then tried to catch up to the Fairy Tail Mages, “I am Kihia Avoa, from Lamia Scale, I am here to assist in what I can…”

Rita found herself suddenly torn away from the webby mess, tossed over someone's shoulder as they flew her through the air. It took her a minute to recognize him in this form but she quickly realized that her hero was none other than--“D-Daiko?!”
 
The mage was surprised to see him here, now especially. The city was in ruins afterall! “W-What are you doing here?” She stammered. Before the smoker had a chance to respond his body froze with a sudden twang, stopping them mid-air. The duo came flying back down, crashing right onto a rooftop.
 
“O-Ouch…...” Rita, only beaten up more sat up from Daiko with a blink, Climbing off of him and to her feet. “I don’t know that I can do much--- You did go and touch that damn w-“ Rita stopped mid-sentence, a stabbing sensation erupting at the base of her neck and just above her collarbone.  She sat back down, beside him, and put a hand to her head, struck by a sudden wave of dizziness and fatigue, unaware that an entire pint of her blood had been sucked away from her.  She lowered her hand to her neck and felt around where she thought she had been jabbed. Odd… She didn’t feel anything out of the ordinary, just her scar which had always been there. Rita glanced off the edge of the roof and towards the ground below… The madman and his creations were nowhere in sight, He had gotten away…  “Damn this…” she murmured
 
It was then that a bolt of lightning erupted from the skies above Talonia and and struck the rooftop.  Heero, running late as usual… At least him and even his exceed were here now.
 
“Hurt,” She echoed. “Agh… No kidding, cat...” She growled holding her shoulder which had been moved from its socket even more from the crash landing. Of course she wasn’t all right in this situation!-- “It’s about time you decided to show up-“ she spoke, watching as Heero tended to Daiko, who was paralyzed and unable to move.  The Dragon slayer brought the green light over her next.
 
She blinked with surprise, Amazing... Rita felt her health coming back to her gradually. The shadow fully recovered from losing a pint of blood while her scrapes and burns had disappeared from the surface of her skin. Even her shoulder was restored; Rita was unable to tell that it had been dislocated in the first place.
 
She stood herself up, cautiously dusting away any remaining particles of the web.  Before she could speak or even thank Heero he commanded his team into battle, beginning the pursuit. Rita must have forgotten… There was no time to ask questions the sooner that this chaos was put out the better.  She followed after Daiko and Heero, looking over the rampage below as she hopped from roof to roof… As long as there wasn’t a giant, doom summoning, Era destroying, dragon this time everything would all turn out fine… Right?...


It was then that Rita heard a familiar voice behind her. “Oh- Y-You’re that ice guy aren’t ya!” She chimed in turning around to see Kihia trailing not far behind them.  She smirked at the familiar mage as she leapt to the next roof, being sure not to lose track of her team. “Heh, Welcome to the party I guess.”

Kocho told Sagittarius to run along aside kihia. By the time she reached him, she said,"I can handle myself, but thank you for the help. I don't want to go back and just set aside the current situation." Kochi said to kihia.

"Heeeelp!" a cry could be heard from an imploded building. Kyll had retired to Talonia to escape from her guild master for a bit. She had gone through a lot of things with the guild and she needed just a small break. She was in a tavern at the time of the attack and the building had collapsed on her. She could reach her hand through cracks only to find a blonde man standing beside the rubble. "Help me..." she said. She only saw his rear. She had hoped that the blonde man she was seeing was Marick. However his aura was completely different. "Please..." She begged. "Marick...." Kyll mumbled as her vision blurred.

Haruhi had let herself wander, not following her leader into Talonia imminently. She did however, make for the town with extreme speed after seeing the explosions from over the bend. "Ha, now this is more like it."

Haru, being only twelve years of age, had more potential than most. She was the youngest mage in her guild, and capable of the most destruction. Although not liking many amount her ranks, she wanted to join in.

She arrived just in time to witness her master, Reich lyserg, hurl a ball through the city streets, lighting up complexes like a firework show. She was in awe. Haha, me too. She made her stance around Lyserg, holding her hand outward "Eradicate the world around me....leave no trace." Haru gathered her crash magic in her palm and blew another adjacent building to rubble. Leaping into the mix, Haru made her assault on peoples homes, business, leisure spots, and causal walking streets. "hammer fissure!" She screamed, uplifting a street for the length of a city block. Walking to the nearest building, she placed her open palm and crashed the side. "Aren't you going to welcome us, Talonia?" Haru was astounded by the hoards of rune knights. Yugi's magnificent fire magic, her other guild members abilties. "This will be fun..."
