Description: Takeover magic is a type of transformation magic that allows the caster to change the appearance, stats and attributes of their body in a variety of ways depending on the strength and type of the takeover they use.
Marick's particular type of Takeover magic invokes the power of the Chimera, a mythical beast made up of 3 different creatures; The Lion, The Eagle and The Snake. Each one has its own powers, abilities, buffs and elemental resistances. He is able to create 'partial' forms where he transforms only certain parts of his body, thus giving those parts the benefits while the rest of him remains normal. His stronger spells on the other hand allow him to transform his entire body into one of the three creatures that form the Chimera, or even transform into a full Chimera that takes different partials to form different Chimera effects.
Strengths:
- The Lion Takeover parts can boost Marick's physical strength and speed, making him a fast and powerful adversary.
- The Eagle Takeover parts can gift Marick the ability to fly and attack relentlessly from the air.
- The Snake Takeover parts can grant Marick the ability to breathe within water, as well as boosting his durability dramatically and, in some cases, harming those who come into contact with him.
Weaknesses:
- Marick cannot take on a full takeover if one of that form's partials are in cooldown.
- Once a full body takeover has run out, all of its partials go into cooldown as well.
- Marick cannot switch to another full body takeover while he is in one.
- The elemental attributes affiliated with each takeover part is purely for defensive purposes. Striking an opponent with that body part does not deal elemental damage.
Abilities/Powers:
Mixed Takeover - Marick is able to use multiple takeovers from either of his three forms assuming he has enough MP to do so. However, he is unable to create a full body takeover in this way.

Description: Marick is able to summon a creature that relates to one of his Chimera forms, each capable of different effects.
Lioness - Marick summons 2 Lioness' who attacks once per post. They have incredibly powerful jaws that deal B-rank damage and lock in place around the limb that they grip, dealing further c-rank damage if they are not knocked off. They can run at up to 50MPH and require a single A-rank spell each to defeat.
Eagles - Marick summons 2 Eagles who attack once per post. These majestic birds strike from the sky once per post dealing B-rank damage per strike. When there is only one bird left they will attempt to grip and opponent and take them into the skies before dropping them from height and dealing up to B-rank damage from the fall (with some exceptions). They can travel at up to 80MPH through the skies, making them difficult to hit. They require only a B-rank spell each to defeat.
Serpents - Marick calls forth 2 Serpents who attack once per post. Summoned from the depths of the ocean, these serpents aim to sink their fangs into their prey, dealing B-rank damage with the bite before inflicting them with a paralyze poison. The opponent will be paralyzed and unable to move for a single post (S-ranks are slowed by 50% for a single post, H-ranks are immune) if bitten, while being dealt C-rank damage per post for 3 posts They travel at up to 20MPH, but courtesy of their scales, take 3 A-rank spells each to defeat.
Strengths:
- With 3 very different summons at his disposal Marick is a dangerous opponent in any situation.
- The Lioness and the Eagle are both fast-paced animals, making it difficult to evade them and to hit them.
- The Serpent has incredible durability, taking considerably more damage than the other two summons and taking down their enemies over time with their venom.
Weaknesses:
- The Eagle and the Lioness require very little effort to defeat, each requiring just a single spell.
- The Lioness are afraid of fire, and will not attack any fire mages.
- The Serpent is weak to lightning magic, and its poisons will not effect metal-based mages.
- Summoning the creatures does not boost Marick's stats whatsoever, and act more as an assistance or a distraction.

Name: Eagle Wings

Forms: The King of Birds
Description: Marick transforms his back to that of an eagle, sprouting wings that allow him to take off from the ground. While in flight he can reach heights of 200m above the ground and can travel at speeds up to 30m/s.
Strengths:
- Grants Marick the power of flight, allowing him to attack from above.
- Marick can reach an impressively high altitude, allowing him to get clear of most attacks.
- Marick is able to travel at a reasonable speed through the air, making the wings useful for both offensive and evasive circumstances.
Weaknesses:
- A wind based spell of higher rank will cause Marick to be unable to fly, resulting in him plummeting to the ground below.
- Besides the ability of flight (and impressive speeds in the air) Marick gets no other benefits from this spell.
- Ice magic can freeze the wings, rendering them useless.
- Casting an earth spell while Marick is on the ground will caused dirt to get in the wings, making it difficult for him to take off and fly.

- Serpent's Tail:
Name: Serpent's Tail

Forms: The King of Serpents
Description: Marick transforms his body slightly and grows a tail that is one and a half meters long that he has complete control over. With this tail he gains a 50% boost to his durability, and is able to knock opponents off their feet with the sheer force and weight of the tail.
Active - Tail Swipe; Marick brings his tail up close to him before swinging it with full force at his target, dealing D-rank damage. If they are struck with the middle of the tail then they are knocked back 10 feet. If they are caught by the tip of the tail (the last 30cm) then they will be knocked off their feet as it trips them.
Strengths:
- Grants Marick a 50% durability boost on his tail due to the thick scales upon it.
- Is able to knock a target back a fair distance.
- Can potentially knock an opponent off their feet, disorientating them or at least putting them off-guard for the moment.
Weaknesses:
- The tail is heavy and so it takes a short time for Marick to move it around in preparation for his Tail Swipe attack.
- A powerful physical based mage could potential use Marick's tail as leverage to lift him.
- This spell cannot be used in conjunction with certain other spells, such as Lion's Tail.
- Marick does not obtain any offensive boosts with this spell.

- Lion's Tail:

Forms: The King of Beasts
Description: Marick transforms his body and gives himself the tail of a lion. This tail, while not being the biggest of transformations, grants Marick 50% increased reflexes of a person his rank, as well as a 50% boost in strength.
Strengths:
- Marick is granted increased reflexes, allowing him to react faster to incoming attacks.
- Like with all of the 'King of Beasts' partial takeovers, Lion's Tail grants Marick a 50% boost in his strength.
- The tail is rather light, thus Marick's movement is not hindered by it at all.
Weaknesses:
- Having your tail pulled hurts. A lot. Attacks that hit Marick's tail will deal double damage and cause the tail to vanish.
- Marick gains no defensive boosts with this spell.
- This spell cannot be used in conjunction with certain other spells, such as Serpent's Tail.
- As this is an extension to his body, Marick is not always aware of what it's doing. This can cause problematic or otherwise embarrassing situations.

Description: Marick transforms his head into that of a lion. With the lion's head Marick's senses are doubled, allowing him to pick out his targets more effectively and to become more aware of incoming attacks. He also gains a 50% boost in strength.
Strengths:
- Gains a 50% boost in Strength.
- He has the head of a lion. How awesome is THAT?!
- Marick's senses are sent through the roof, doubling in effectiveness.
Weaknesses:
- Little red dots are now a huge distraction.
- Gains no other boosts besides the boost in strength.
- Gains no active ability.
- Improved senses does not mean Marick is aware of everything. In fact it becomes a burden in busier areas of the world where there is so much going on that his senses go haywire.

Name: Lion's Legs

Forms: The King of Beasts
Description: Marick's legs are transformed into those of a lion; powerful, agile and with tremendous grip on the earth beneath his feet. While this spell is active Marick gets a 50% boost in strength, a 25% boost in speed and is more likely to be able to dodge an incoming melee attack as he can pivot and move clear courtesy of his increased grip.
Active - Speed Burst; Marick focuses all of his strength into his legs, boosting his speed and jumping ability by 50% but reducing his attack power and durability by 25%. As such this is best used when either chasing evasive prey or when fleeing dangerous opposition.
Strengths:
- Marick gains a 50% boost in strength.
- Dodging becomes easier as Marick's claws on his feet allow him to pivot and push off from a location easier.
- Marick gains a 25% boost in speed.
Weaknesses:
- This takeover is mostly beneficial in circumstances where Marick must move around a lot, as it boosts movement-based stats.
- Marick's defenses remain untouched, and thus he takes regular damage from every attack should he get hit, and extra damage when using Speed Boost.
- This spell cannot be used in conjunction with certain other spells in Marick's arsenal, such as Eagle's Talons.
- While the Lion's legs grip the earth well, trying to grip on ice is a whole different story. As a result, Marick loses all ability to walk on icy and slippery terrain while this spell is active.

- Serpent's Fangs:

Forms: The King of Serpents
Description: Marick transforms his head into that of a serpent, growing fangs that are two and a half inches long that hold powerful and dangerous toxins. While in this form he also obtains thick scales, boosting his durability by 50%.
Active - Venomous Mist; Marick sprays a mist of venom in a 5 meter cone in front of him. Anyone caught in the mist will suffer from the venom within it, being dealt D-rank damage every post for a minimum of 3 posts (the 3 post duration comes into effect as soon as the opponent leaves the mist. Should they remain in the mist then they will continue to lose D-rank damage, but the set-duration of the venom will not start to decrease until they leave it.)
Strengths:
- Venomous Mist is capable of dealing a minimum of 1.5x C-rank damage; more if the target stays within the mist.
- Marick gains a 50% durability boost while using this spell.
- Should Marick bite an opponent, the same effects apply as with the mist.
Weaknesses:
- The mist can be cleared by a wind spell of equal rank.
- A healing spell of equal rank can cure the poison in the target's body.
- Metal-based mages are immune to the venom.
- Fire spells of equal rank can evaporate the venom, rendering it useless.

Forms: The King of Birds
Description: Marick transform's his head into that of an eagle. His eyesight becomes almost second-to-none as it becomes more than 4 times better than that of an average human being. He can create calls that allow him to communicate to any eagles he summons far more efficiently than normal or with any other animal he is capable of summoning.
Active - Warning Screech; Marick releases a harsh, high-pitched screech as a warning to his allies that enemies are approaching, or to momentarily deafen and/or disorientate an opponent. This can be used multiple times while the takeover is active, but requires a 2 post cooldown between each use.
Strengths:
- Gains incredibly eyesight that allows him to spot any enemies up to two miles away.
- Marick can communicate far better with his eagle summons while in this form.
- Marick's Screech can be used either as a warning or to distract an opponent.
Weaknesses:
- There are no offensive benefits to this partial takeover.
- If used near allies, the screech is likely to disorientate them too.
- Marick can summon and communicate only with his Eagle summons while this spell is active.
- Marick gains no stat boosts from this spell.

Name: Serpent's Scales

Forms: The King of Serpents
Description: Marick coats his entire body in thick scales, tougher than those that come as passives to his other Serpent spells. These scales grant him a 100% boost in his durability, deflects any non-lightning spells of lower rank while reducing equal rank spell damage by 50% and cause anyone who strikes him physically to be inflicted with C-rank damage. However, the thick scales slow Marick and weakens his attacks, thus his speed and strength drops by 50%.
Strengths:
- HUGE boost in durability.
- Deal's B-rank damage to anyone who tries to strike him physically.
- Deflects non-lightning spells of lower rank.
Weaknesses:
- Lightning spells deal regular damage to Marick. Lightning spells of higher rank deal double damage.
- Marick's speed drops by 50% for the duration of this spell.
- Marick's strength drops by 50% for the duration of this spell.
- The damage dealt from physical attacks apply for allies who may accidentally graze past Marick.

- Lion's Claws:
Name: Lion's Claws

Forms: The King of Beasts
Description: Marick's hands begin to change shape as he transforms them into powerful lion claws. While in this form, all of his attacks have a passive that causes him to deal 1.5x damage due to the claws cutting into the target's skin. His strength is also boosted by 50%.
Active - Great Fist of the Beast King; Marick puts all his strength behind this one punch, dealing B-rank damage (1.5x B-rank when the passive is included) and hitting with enough force to send the victim flying back 15ft.
Strengths:
- Can knock a target back 15ft, with an extra 5ft added for every rank they are below him.
- Marick gains a 50% passive strength boost.
- All of Marick's Physical attacks are increased by 50%.
Weaknesses:
- Marick gains no defensive boosts.
- Marick gains no speed boosts, unlike with some of his King of Beast passives.
- The 50% attack bonus does not count for non-physical spells or weapon attacks.
- This spell cannot be used in conjunction with certain other spells, such as Eagle's Talons.

Name: Eagle's Talons

Forms: The King of Birds
Description: Marick transforms his hands and his feet into razor sharp talons of an Eagle, allowing him to attack at a faster pace and boosting his speed by 50%. When combined with Eagle's Wings, Marick is able to grab a target and drop them from height, dealing increased damage the higher the opponent is dropped.
Active - Razor Wind; Marick unleashes a flurry of kicks and punches that slash at the opponent and send wind cutters at anyone within a 5m radius which initially deal no damage but will knock the opponent out of the 5m radius. The slashes deal B-rank damage total with the wind cutters being sharp enough to cause an opponent to bleed, dealing a further C-rank damage the following post. This attack can only be used once throughout the duration of a takeover with 3 posts required between each use.
Strengths:
- The active ability has a slight DoT ability, harming the opponent further when they think the attack is over.
- Marick is capable of dealing damage to an opponent if he has Eagle's Wings equipped as he can now grab them with his talons and drop them from height.
- Marick gains a 50% boost in his speed.
Weaknesses:
- Gains no offensive or defensive boosts.
- Razor Wind's secondary effect can hit any allies within the 5m radius as well as any enemies, making it a risky move in a team fight.
- Marick cannot wield any weaponry while using Eagle's Talons.
- Marick cannot use this spell in conjunction with certain other spells, such as Lion's Legs.
