“Idiot… who the hell wanders into the spooky forest alone…”
Nakiya remarked as he drove her blade into the back of some travelers head. He didn’t seem to be anything special…he might have had some magic power, but didn’t seem to be very good with it. At least, that was her deduction seeing as he was impaled on the edge of her celestial blade. 

She withdrew it out of his head, kicking him over so that he landed face first in the swamp, extinguishing her blade and replacing it at her thigh before crouching down as something on the man’s body caught her eye… he was carrying a backpack that remained opened, and now there was what looked like a package sticking out of it. Curiosity got the better of her as she reached into the bag and retrieved the item before the body sank into the depths of the swamp.

She opened up the package, finding a lacrima tucked away inside, as well as an old book. She withdrew the items, tossing the box back into the swamp before lifting the lacrima to her eye level, examining it closely. On cue, the lacrima started to play it’s recording, and Nakiya tilted her head curiously as she listened on to what they had to say. There were Rune Knights in the spooky forest? Had they discovered the guild hall and were now plotting an attack against them? She quickly set the lacrima aside as she retrieved the book and began flipping through its pages, frowning deeply as she attempted to make sens of the words.

She had to admit her reading skills were limited… most of the times she couldn’t make out the job postings they received, let alone read this persons terrible hand writing. She sighed finally as she picked up the lacrima once more, eyeing it carefully.

“Well! If their asking for death them who am I to deny them their request?!”
She asked excitedly as she jumped to her feet, tossing the lacrima onto the ground and stomping down on it hard until it shattered. The book however she tucked into her cleavage before reaching down for her keys and retrieving the key of Felis, the black cat.

With a quick chant, she swung the key and out of a dark and yellow magic circle, Luna leaped out, landing on top of Nakiya’s right shoulder as the pair walked off into the spooky forest, every now and then attempting to refer to the journal she kept tucked into her cleavage.

“Luna. Grant me your grace.”
She ordered the cat who let out a meow of approval, however, telepathically Nakiya could hear the small cat speak. “Of course mistress”. With that, a dark magic circle appeared before Luna, the lines connecting it sparkling like the stars in the sky before enveloping Nakiya in it’s darkness.

With Luna's grace active, Nakiya leaped up into one of the nearby tree's with ease, using it as a stating point to begin leaping from one tree to another. This way, she could stay out of the Rune Knights sights and be able to sneak up on them when the opportunity came up. However, as she went along, a sudden blood curdling scream pierced the air, causing Nakiya to stop in her tracks and hold fast onto the tree she was now standing on.

That scream was loud, so loud that the person should be directly under her... however no one was there, only shrubs and swamp were below her now... she looked around but found nothing, even as the sounds of screaming continued. She could hear the person tormenting them too... an evil laughter echoing in the now howling wind. She couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow at the situation. No doubt someone from the guild had a new play thing they were dealing with in the forest… she hadn’t gotten to know everyones magic ye, so it wasn’t unreasonable that they were invisible or something…

Dismissing the horrific sounds as her guildmates having fun, Nakiya continued on her journey to find these Rune Knights, however, as she leaped to her next tree, she felt something suddenly wrap around her foot and trip her. She cursed as she went crashing out of the tree and began plummeting towards the ground.

Thanks to Luna's ability however, Nakiya ended up landing on her feet with an exhausted sigh. She looked up at the tree she fell from with a glare.

"Hey! Play all the games you want ass hole but keep me out of them!"
She cried out at her supposed guild mate before leaping back up into the tree, kicking out at whoever was there. Which was no one.

"Crap... don't tell me it's those stupid geists again... they didn't have enough fun the first time I came here..."
She complained before continuing on her journey to find the knights.

Finally, the end seemed to be approaching. She could at least hear voices now... the hushed, mad voices of two men arguing with one another. She looked over to Luna on her shoulder, making sure that the Celestial Spirit could hear them too. When the cat nodded, Nakiya leaped back down onto the ground, reaching for her Celestial Blade at the same time. She ignited it, extending it to the length of a Katana as she came face to face with the two rune knights. They were sitting waist deep in swampy water... they clothes were torn, their faces were dark and the dark bags under their eyes indicated their lack of sleep. She couldn't help but smirk at the sight of them.

"So let me get this straight... two big bad rune knights come looking for trouble, and they can't even get passed the spirits of this forest? I wish I could let you go back to you're people and tell them all about this horrific experience... but I think I'll finish breaking you first..."

The two knights stammered and attempted to get away from Nakiya, but the dark mage was quick to withdraw her dark keys. With a quick chant, she summoned the most wrathful spirit in her arsenal. Shadows began to cover the area, blocking out any remaining light that might have seeped through the forest, blinding the two knights who couldn’t help but cy out in terror. The girls form was dark, revealing nothing but a crooked toothy smile and blood red eyes where the spirit should have had them.

With Wrath and darkness on her side, Nakiya went to town on the knights, using Luna’s enhanced strength to beat them senseless while Wrath began to devour the second knight. Nakiya opn the other hand, was slow in killing her prey, driving her blade slowly into the knights body, tearing him open piece by piece as he attempted to fight her back.

She grabbed the knight by the back of his hair and pinned him down onto a fallen tree, crawling over him with a smirk that the man couldn’t see. She used her hips to straddle now the wounded knight, and brought the blade up to his neck, causing an incision just large enough for her to begin literally eating at his flesh, and taking his his blood into her mouth.

The screams that escaped the knight sent shivers up her spine. There was nothing more beautiful sounding than the terrified dying screams of a man who could do nothing to save himself. She felt him grab at her and punch at her, even attempt to use his magic and fail in his panic. The more he moved his hands however caused her to bring up her sword and stab it through his right hand, pinning it down against the moldy bark as she continued to slowly devour him, letting him bleed out from his injuries as she did so.

When Nakiya finally lifted her lips from the man’s neck, the blood dripped down to her chin and back down onto the Rune Knight’s face, dripping down the corner of his eye at the last of the man’s tears fell. He could barely cry out anymore, the sounds escaping his throat where pitiful attempts at catching his breath. The last thing he would see, was Nakiya’s face as the darkness lifted and she drove her Celestial Spirit blade into the man’s chest and through his heart.

“Thank you for the meal, little Knight”
She said softly as she pushed herself away from the fallen tree, picking up the knight and tossing him into the swamp. She watched as the body bobbed at first, but was soon roughly dragged under water, leaving nothing but a streak of red behind as the swamp creatures devoured what was left of the man’s corpse.

To clean up her mess, Nakiya kicked the remains of the second Knight into the swamp as well, regarding Wrath as the spirit wiped her own mouth and returned to the Celestial spirit wold. She returned the key onto her chain before bringing her hand up and passing it through the blood on her lips, looking at the red liquid before slipping her finger into her mouth to devour what was left.

“Well… can’t say I didn’t get anything defending the guild.”
She stated simply as she began to head back to the guild hall, retrieving the tome she had hidden within her cleavage to try and understand what was said. She would have Za’cha read it over and then hand it over to Harrigan if there was anything of importance within it’s contents. Why not climb the ranks while she was a member of Savage Skull? Surely she could do more with more members under her than above her.
