    The Call 08757ec70fd01e5e711c30f3181bf989_by_gramcrackers-da8tl3s

A light flickered through the veil of smoke and darkness, upon the scratching sound of a match.  The flame held by a gigantic hand, illuminated the smokey white haired figure sitting alone in the dark, and lit the Cigars in his mouth.  He shook the flame out, leaving only the glow of the two cigars visible, as well as his grim expression, outlined by faint shadows.  With every inhale the glow grew brighter, and with every exhale he filled the room with more smoke.  His face appeared grim and deep in thought, as he peered in to the cloud of smoke surrounding him.  Breaking the silence, the sound of a door creaking open behind him and the sudden cough of another man, disturbed the figure's thought.  *Cough* "My- My Lord..?" The man once sitting, stood from his arm chair and turned towards the voice, the glow from his cigars pierced through the veil, and was raised several feet above the boys own head.  The faint image of his grim and angry visage peered down at the boy.  "It's time for the Call."  The boy bowed his head.  "Ye- yes, Lord Nimbus!"  Quickly the boy left the room.  The figure, known as Nimbus took another haul on his cigars and sighed, filling the chamber with more smoke.  "Things are going to be different around here..."

The full moon shined brightly over the land of Fiore, as all seemed to be as it should.  An odd peacefulness for Fiore, a land known for sudden and chaotic events.  It was a night that mages could rest easy, with no serious threat lurking in the shadows.  Though some still lied awake, remembering all the terrors that beset Fiore at the drop of a hat.  Even on a night like this one, one could not be certain of what actually lurked in the dark.  It was for this reason that the Call had been made... Piercing through the silence of the night, a Wolf's howl is heard throughout all of Fiore.

Mages from all over the land, wherever they may be could hear this Howl, though only few would come to understand its meaning.  A select few mages would be able to see the light in the distance, coming from the direction of the Howl.  A cyan ray shooting towards the moon, coming from somewhere in the distance.  Though some may be frightened by this light for worrying that it may be some impending danger, the townsfolk would remain calm incapable of seeing it.  What made those few mages different from those who could not see the light would be unknown the them, the only thing that was certain was that they would feel compelled to follow this light...

    The Call The_den_pool_by_gramcrackers-da8qjy4

These Rays of light lead the Mages to a Cave, somewhere in their region.  Within it, a faint blue light would light the way for them through the cave that would normally be pitch black.  It traveled deep within the Earth, and though there were several turns they could have made, the light showed them the correct path to take, until finally they would all arrive at the same destination.  No matter where the mages were in Fiore when they were beckoned by the Light, they would be transported to this place.  A soothing place, with a waterfall at the end of the chamber, falling over slabs of stone with glowing runes painted upon them, illuminating the chamber with Moonlight and a pool of water at its center.  It was a mystical place, known as The Den Pool.

OOC: The Howl rang loudly throughout Fiore.  Your character can be anywhere in the land, and be brought to a cave that will magically take you to this chamber, in which you will meet all of the others who've been summoned.  Make your intro here if you desire to be recruited in to the Garou knights.

Everyone who is being recruited here must make an intro in this thread.  If you wish to Mingle with the others and social a little bit, please start a new thread, with a link in your intro post to the new thread, and a link in the first post of the new thread to this thread.

To join someone else's thread... you must first make an intro in this topic, and then your next post in the new topic.  You must also link in your own intro post which thread you've joined so that everyone can find each other.   This is to avoid clutter and hopefully make this thread go smoother.  Thank you.

..but you've slipped under my skin,
    p o i s o n e d my blood and seized my heart..

    // appearance. //

The congested streets of Fiore’s cities were a sight the white lady had grown tired of. Far away from the world’s natural chaos the snow-haired sorceress hid between gigantic trees and other wildlife. Once curled up a peaceful expression crept over the girl’s face and under a veil of mist and darkness she eventually fell into a silken slumber. Hours passed and it was long after nightfall when a strong, yet lonesome howl tore her from her dreams. Frantically flailing, her eyes darted around only to find nothing and no one but herself to be present - but who had dared to wake her up? Sayuno had purposely chosen a place in the middle of nowhere to reside and yet, when her red, crystalline eyes descried the bright, cyan light that ascended into the night sky somewhere far in the distance she knew this was everything but sheer coincidence.

Although the Take Over wizard was lazy by nature--and owned a quite dismissive attitude as well--she felt the sudden and unexplainable urge to follow the light and discover its source. Quietly, and with ever so gentle steps the young woman wandered through the night and slowly but certainly approached the mysterious light until she found herself in front of what seemed to be a cave! If it’s the light that lead me here, I should follow, she thought to herself and put a smile on her lips. Happily and without doubt she tiptoed into said cave and followed her guide around every corner and over every boulder that were in her way until she eventually reached their final destination. A chamber with a waterfall at its very end and unexplainable runes painted all over the walls, glowing in the exact same colour as the light she had been following now for almost an hour. There was no one here, but when she listened carefully and inhaled a deep breath through her nose she could perceive an ever-present scent, one she could never possibly forget no matter how much time she spent all by herself.

    The scent of humans.

As the young man tread the forest, after Sleeping Forest's disbandment, he found a place to rest near a natural spring. When he arrived, he refilled his canteen with the fresh water and then found himself a spot to rest till night time. As night time arrived, and he was waking, he heard the howl of a wolf shortly followed by a light. He was compelled to follow it to its origins. Tatsumi got to his feet, put on his khaki jacket, placed his rifle on his back, and placed a white glove over his right hand covering the Cor Draco guild marking.

As he followed the light, he came to a cave. This did not stop him as he traversed its dark corridors led by only the light. As he followed it, he found new lights and arrived in a spacious room. The room had a few people in it but not many, but that did not stop him. He went to find a place to sit, and waited.

Post by ZhuFeng 4th July 2016, 9:54 am

Zhu sighed as she went through the motions of practicing with her weapons. She was always practicing, always training, but it was always hollow now. She had no purpose, she had no desire, she had no drive any longer, and that would not do for her. It was time that she practiced with her weapons in order to try and keep herself from stagnating. It would not happen to her, she would never allow it to happen to her. On this day she found herself living far away from Hargeon town. Deep in the forest, her heart would belong to Lamia Scale where she had first found purpose, but now it was broken, the town was broken, and it was not going to return to its glory. Nor, would she be willing to wait and see. There was no one worthy of her and her bending the knee to. She was without direction.

Then as she brought her family’s blade down in a great arch her silent training was shattered by the great howl of a wolf. She trembled and froze looking around with her one eye, but there was nothing. Only after a moment did it appear, the great light. Zhu slowly lowered her blade trembling as she saw it. Her family’s blade shrank and she absentmindedly sheathed it without actually thinking about the action. The warrior felt the need to follow it, she felt the need to find where It was supposed to lead her. She dared not to move at all, until she heard a voice it was a voice that she knew, loved, and wanted to hear more of. It was the voice of the Scorekeeper the goddess of all warriors spoke to her avatar “Go my chosen one. Go and you shall find someone worthy of your knee, your blade, and shall find a place where I have blessed even if they are ignorant of such a thing.”

This was all the incentive that Zhu needed. With her body wincing and breaking she gained great angelic wings and with one beat she was in the air. She closed on the light without delay and as she flew through the forests she soon found the cave and that meant she flew down into it. A flash of light however sent her reeling and when she could finally see again she was hovering flapping her wings to keep her up, and she flew over a mossy covered rock. She whipped around as she tried to find where she was, but soon she lowered herself to the stone under herself, and she felt at peace, she noticed the other people in the cave, but said nothing to them instead simply waiting for something that was supposed to happen.

The clang of steel against steel rang out in the knight as Emilia fought a small group of brigands she had been hired to track down. The local Rune Knights were doing literally nothing about them, again. Sadly, this had become entirely too common. Bandits, brigands, raiders, and thieves openly attacking and looting innocents. It made for work for her, but it was rather sickening. Sure, she and Eli had robbed people before, but only those who were willing to risk losing money in games of chance. That is, they cheated people out of money in gambling, but those people were still more than willing to lose it. That had been a long time ago now, though. Now their efforts were focused more on the mercenary side of things, particularly in bringing justice where the Rune Knights would not. It paid well, when a small village pooled money to hire someone to take out the local bandits harassing travelers on the nearby roads.

Three of the four brigands had already fallen beneath Emilia's spells and blade. Only one remained now, a crash wizard and the leader of the group. The fellow was smart enough to have gotten a decent weapon and not rely entirely on his magic. Still, her martial prowess and strength had quickly put him on the defensive. She was fighting him with both her weapons, Trauma in her left hand and Reaver in her right. He parried another blow from her blade and now she swung the mace, which glowed a soft blue as it was charged by magical energies. Unable to avoid the attack, he moved his sword to try to deflect it, only to have the force magic within the mace pass to the sword and shatter it. With nothing to defend himself with aside from his nearly exhausted magic, he backed away, yielding. Emilia responded to his pleas for mercy.

"If you wanted mercy, you should have shown it to those whose corpses you looted after cutting their throats." With a swing of her blade and surge of her magic, she sent forth a wave of force aimed at the brigand's neck. The magical energy cut through it like her own blade, beheading the last brigand. The job was done, she could collect the bounty for it in the morning. For now, she should find a place to rest. Emilia sheathed her blade and mace as she heard a howl and saw a ray of light shoot towards the moon. It was distant, but not too far. Emilia decided to investigate.

Following where she saw the source of the light, she was lead to a cave from which more light shown. She followed it inside before finding herself in a drastically different cave. It seemed mystical, peaceful. She sensed no danger here, though was aware of the presence of others within the cave. She looked around, before looking back, seeing that the cave she had been in before was gone. Some sort of teleportation no doubt. Turning back towards the Den Pool, the armored warrior walked towards the center of the antechamber.

The Call Empty Re: The Call

Post by Kaylin 4th July 2016, 11:13 am

Kaylin sat inside her home. Normally a rather welcoming atmosphere, it was odd when everything seemed to be gloomy. She couldn't help, but think about what her guild master had done. She killed so many people. Whether she killed the people by poisoned water, or lightning strikes, she still killed thousands of people alike. Kaylin never knew how only one person could do so much damage. Kaylin knew she'd never want to return to fairy tail, at least not if that monster stayed in the guild.

She sat munching on some ramen noodles. She hadn't seen such carnage ever in her life, and she couldn't get the sound, and look of all those people right before, and after they died in her head. She thought about how their families must feel. Magnolia's former savior, had turned on them, and became Magnolia's doom. Kaylin began to wonder if the entire guild had turned much like Kanix. Did they all become evil, or what? Kanix, she is the guild master, it would only make sense if everyone else felt the same. Kaylin was unsure of even her own guild. She looked at her hand which was still bandaged. She slowly unwrapped it, and peered down at her guild mark. She couldn't let it stay there. She wouldn't let herself become a monster like the rest of her guild.

She walked over to her sink staring her guild mark down the whole time. Almost like she was making sure it wasn't going to attack her like Kanix. She turned on the water, and grabbed a sponge. She turned it to it's green abrasive side, and started scrubbing down her hand.  Even minutes after it was gone, she continued scrubbing. She scrubbed her hand until it was raw. She didn't want to be related with that guild any longer. After scrubbing her own hand for around 10 minutes she looked down at what was left. Her hand was bleeding, and the skin all around it was red.

She slowly rewrapped her hand. She actually had a reason to wrap it now, and it wasn't something stupid like hiding her guild mark from an angry mob. It was actually bleeding now, because she refused to stay in her guild. She went back to her chair and sat down. She stared outside of her window unsure of where she would go next. She didn't want to be guildless, but she also didn't want to go back to fairy tail.

Just then she saw something outside of her window. It was a bright faded blue light. She stepped outside her house. She felt the urge to follow it, but she didn't know why. She looked towards the marvelous blue light, and convinced herself to go find the source of it. She made her way through several small towns. Oddly enough none of the people seemed to notice it. She was the only one seeing it. She wondered if she had finally lost it after seeing all those people die, but she shrugged away the thought and continued on wards towards the light.

She eventually made her way towards a cave. The light seemed to be resounding within the cave. She slowly followed it in to the cave. There was multiple ways to go, but the light only led one way. Kaylin eventually made her way to the source. It was a beautiful water fall. It seemed to light the entire room brilliantly. She walked towards a small rock, and sat on it using it as a chair. She didn't pay attention to if anyone was in the room, she only watched the beautiful waterfall.

"Stop being evil!" Simon held a mugger up by his collar and was doing his best to be intimidating. Since he had aged from 17 to 22 without any social interaction he was struggling to come to terms with how his new found height affected his social interactions, in other words it was weird that people weren't treating him like he was 12. Naturally he had opted to experiment with muggers. The guy was clearly pretty shaken up but tried to stammer out a weak excuse anyway, "Now hold on it-" Simon interrupted him by shaking him back in forth in the air, "Stop being evil!!!" The mugger just kind of stared at Simon with a vacant expression on his face. How would you react if you were a mugger and some guy had shown up out of nowhere while you were trying to get some money for lunch, picked you up by your shirt collar and started yelling in your face to stop being evil? Eventually he settled on nodding.

Simon dropped him and he scampered away. When he was gone Simon scratched his head, "I'm still not sure that's the best way to do this..."

It was at that particular moment when Simon heard the howling. He turned around to the direction he perceived the sound to be in, "Wolves? Monster wolves? Wolf monsters? Regardless that didn't sound friendly." From his position in a back alley in the middle of Oak Town the howl sounded like it was coming from out of town, so Simon did the only natural thing. He jumped, he soared over the roofs high into the air catapulting through the sky and then started running on air. His god leg magic carried him through the sky at fantastic speeds towards the source of the sound. He quickly homed in on it, tracing it to a cave just outside of the city.

He left himself fall from the air to land in front of the cave with a resounding thud. The cave seemed normal enough so Simon descended into its depths, expecting nothing more than a few angry wolves. So it was only natural when he found a glowing blue light inside, "Well... Huh... You know what has historically caused me nothing but trouble? Chasing magical lights. But you know what I suddenly don't care about? Historical evidence." Simon then proceeded to follow the light down many winding tunnels. Eventually after a surprisingly long spelunking trip Simon found himself in the Den Pool. He looked around at all the others gathered here, "Oh have I been summoned? Is that what just happened? Neat." Simon was getting a little excited, this was beginning to to get wonderfully bizarre.

The gloom in the air hung like a stinking and rotting mess of corpses as a woman sat atop the dead of what seemed to be many demons. Lightning arced from her fingers into the bodies sending jolts and twitches through their inactive muscles as she simply sighed, “Rune Knights turn you down and now you are stuck as a vigilante… Good job.” She could not help but feel like a hopeless wretch at the thought she was denied entry into the knights meant to uphold justice and even now she was glaring down at a flier for a guild known as Infinity Hydra, “Perhaps it is for the best…” Crushing the paper in her hands she would rise from the pile of corpses her ears catching many sounds of howling and almost in an instant her attention turned to a great pillar of cyan light. Almost like a moth to the flame she would smile, “Curious, wolves howl and light appears in the sky, might be more demons.” Now she was curious as she charged her legs with holy lightning and like a flash she sprung off towards the lights.

Reaching the caves she would look inside as her eyes adjusted quickly, ‘Leads inside… Seems to be leading me deeper still.’ her smell quickly tracked other's scents as she charged her arms with white electricity, ‘Could be a trap.’ Walking in slowly and with caution she would follow the light until she reached what only caused her to drop her jaws in awe of, ‘This place is amazing… But who sent for me? And… Others.’ Her look went from awe to neutral quickly as her eyes noted the others in the room and like a distrustful woman she simply ignored them walking to one corner of the area far enough away from others she felt safe. Slowly she dropped her visor on attempting to hide her eyes hoping at least that she could hide them and her skins peculiar blue color.

it's a sign of my obsession
She heard it. Yeah, it was kinda odd, hearing a howl from all the way in Oak Town, but it seemed to intrigue her. Not only did she hear a howl, she also saw a light coming from nearby. She traveled to it, cause who wouldn't approach a giant blue light?

The journey as a pain, and all this work just because of curiosity? She was beginning to have her doubts about this blue light thing, but she kept pushing forward, wondering if what she's looking for is anything at all, or maybe it's just some kid playing around that just happened to activate whatever she was here for.

Once she got close to it, she met up with a cave. An odd looking cave. She was heavily tempted to go inside, but she was taught as a kid to not wander off into random caves. But what the heck. She wandered down the cave into a bigger cave! Wonderful.

    “Tsk."

It was an interesting thing, to be summoned by a strange and animalistic howl. To go along with that bellow was a bright light that cut through the night air, a pillar meant for only those that knew it was important. It was the Call; something that was definitely expected but one could never really prepare for it. It could come at any moment while any one person was doing one thing or the other.

For Monica Belle, she had just finished up fighting. The last remaining fighter, besides her, stood directly across from her. How she was still standing was anyone's guess but the black-haired dolt had managed to outlast the rest of the competition. Monica eyed her casually, as if she was trying to decide just what to do with her. On the one hand, the fight was definitely over; Monica's opponent was just barely on her feet, looking more like a limp puppet hanging by her strings. But on the other hand, she was still standing and that was worth noting.

“You did good." She said, nodding her head gently as she began to approach the other woman. Monica watched her tense up, expecting the fight to continue. It almost made the bald-headed woman laugh. She adjusted her direction just enough to walk right by the weakened woman. But before she could completely continue onwards, she stopped and turned her head to meet her opponent's weary gaze. “If I ever run into you again, I'll buy you a drink."

It was about the highest compliment Monica was capable of giving a person. Especially considered it wasn't littered with curses and backhanded insults. Monica held the woman's gaze for a moment longer before she brushed past her, bumping her shoulder just enough to show she was still quite fresh. Even as the weary woman fell to her knees, finally giving into the exhaustion, Monica continued forward without looking back.

The light held its torch high for her to follow and she did just that, her hands thrust in her pockets as she traversed the grassy knolls. It didn't take her very long to find the cave that apparently was meant to be her target. “Really?" She asked the air, her rhetorical question finding no answer in the night. With a sigh she continued forward, walking right into the cave mouth without a worry or care. The winding passage took her deep into the hillside or so she thought. Before she even realized, the cave's features had shifted from the natural ones of the former landscape to a brand new one. It was something she was used to at this point, having been with the Garou Knights for a short time, but she still couldn't quite tack it down to when it actually happened. Beauty of magic, apparently.

But in the end, she found herself in a brand new chamber. The meeting chamber supposedly. There were a handful of people but she paid them no mind. She continued on her path, walking up to one of the side walls and pressing her shoulder into its stony surface. Her arms crossed over one another and wrapped up her torso as she stared ahead, quiet and ready to hear what this meeting was for.

When was an ideal time not to to hear an eerie howl pierce the atmosphere that was enough to send shivers down your spine? Well, some might say during coitus or whilst desperate for the toilet and fortunately for Zack or, as he preferred to be called now Zeke neither of these was the case. However, hanging upside down from a chain hacking into a rune knight archive was probably a close third and that just happened to be what Zeke was doing. The sudden howl almost made him lose his grip on the tonfa that his feet were currently hooked around. Fortunately, he managed to catch himself in time. He hung there for a while. The howl was unfamiliar and yet it seemed to be calling out to him. If he focused on it he could almost here his name along with several others mixed in with the howl. How bizarre and how curious. He nodded to himself and tapped a few keys on the archive machine and then clipped his heels together. Instantly, the chains began to retract taking him through a panel in the ceiling and into an airduct. He moved over to the side of and holstered his tonfa. He nodded before quickly replacing the airduct and screwing it in place.

"Rune knights need to work on their security. That was far too easy." he said and began to crawl through the airducts. However, as he crawled he noticed a glow and somehow instinctively he knew that glow was linked to the howl. He crawled over following it and somehow, much to his surprise, found himself in a huge cave dominated by a waterfall and large stones carved with runes. He stood up and turned around, but the air duct he'd crawled through had gone. He glanced about at the others. None of them seemed familiar, even to his famously lousy memory for faces, names and places, and so he wondered which had called him here.

"Ok. I'm here...now...could one of you tell me why?" he asked out loud looking around the room. "Or ya know...introduce yourselves as I have no clue who any of you are." He paused and scratched his head. ]"Oh and next time mind just sending me a letter or something? Magic howls are a bit creepy." It was then that an idea came to mind. "You're not the rune knights are you? Did I trigger some kinda trap? If so....damn you guys have got a lot better at security."

    JUST FOCUS ON THAT GOAL
Step One: Get out of slavery

Itsuki had a goal. And finally, finally he could make some progress. Pressing one hand against the back of the other, Itsuki stretched, yawning in comfort as he felt himself slowly relaxing. He was finally free! For a second, the teen could hardly believe it. Was he seriously out? Was he seriously standing on land where he wasn't owned by anyone? Where he didn't need to have permission simply to go to sleep? To stretch? To walk around? For a second, he let his guard down, leaping into the air like an elementary schoolgirl, laughing in crazed delight. No more stuffy factories! No more stupid assembly lines! No more Bellum! He was free!

All this, however, lasted for only a few milliseconds as Itsuki came falling back down forth, landing hard on the ground, an unnatural screeching sound coming from the twisted, crumpled legs that were stuck beneath his body. No... He wasn't free. The wires that wove through his body was constant reminder. The inhuman angle his joints often bent at was a sharp stab from reality, a clear reminder that he would never be truly free. Not so long as he lived. Slowly, awkwardly, Itsuki willed the wires to straighten up again, bringing his legs with them. As his limbs readjusted into a normal, proper angle, he peered back out into the town, illuminated by a pale, full moon. How lucky all those people were, truly lucky.

As he lapsed into a train of thought, pondering his next move in this new, semi-free life, a sudden howl rang through the town. Itsuki jerked to attention, having to will the wires to brace his legs to keep from collapsing. What was that? Glancing upwards, he spotted a beautiful burst of blue light, shooting towards the sky in an awe-inspiring arc. And something inside him pulled. For once in his life, Itsuki felt compelled to do something besides following his goal, his purpose. And so, naturally, he followed.

Step Two: Be seen as a trustworthy, "good" figure.

Step by step. Inside, he could hear and feel the creaking and moving of the wires keeping him alive and going. Though he knew one else could hear them, they seemed to grate against his ears as he trudged on through the silent night, following the light and the insistent tug inside. Somewhere in his journey, he probably sensed the presence of other mages drawing closer as well, though he never acknowledged that sense. Eventually he found himself inside a large cave, glowing with blue light.

It was a beautiful place, such as the teenager had never known before. He was somewhere special now, he knew. And it was here that he could finally begin pursuit of his goal.

The Call Empty Re: The Call

Post by Fair 5th July 2016, 4:54 am

A flurry of ivory feathers carried by a soft breeze landed atop the Serene Cliff in the umbra of a majestic lion with a coat of golden fur and his mistress, who were observing the hustling town below. The Ice Dragon Slayer could take the boredom no more, and thus hoisted herself onto the back of her guardian, positioning herself to be balanced on top of Zlatan. “Take me away,” she ordered. Heavy feet lifted off the hard rock as feathered appendages spread out, flapping sluggishly but with immense energy. Soaring into the starry sky at the speed of a snail on land, the two flew above the illuminated metropolis.

During the past few weeks, Lynn had been having strange visions, strange dreams and stress-inducing thoughts. The Sabertooth guild felt so distant, even when she was literally sitting amongst her guildmates in the bar, and sleeping in her chambers within the guild building. The thoughts that intruded her mind...made her feel this way, like she did not belong anymore. An insignia that once meant everything to her, stamped on her tongue, slowly fading into nothingness. Was it because of her new appearance? What will become of her without Sabertooth?

Howling. Strange, alluring howls from the North. Twisting her head to face the source of the unnaturally high pitched sounds, the bewildered sorceress ordered Zlatan to halt mid air. “What is that?” she pondered out loud, curiously gazing. Sapphire orbs now reflecting a brilliant cyan light that shone down from the Moon...or the other way around. Even though she had never been interested in such things, it was different this time around. Without further ado, the winged beast changed direction and sped towards the mystically inviting beam. The journey to the source felt rather short. Weird. She thought it would have taken her at least about an hour; her calculations were wrong. Nonetheless, she was curious. Nothing stopped her from desiring to know what this light meant, a bizarre feeling, lingering.

Zlatan remained outside the lit cave. Lynn sensed danger, but in a welcoming way, a very tempting signal. “You know the drill,” she informed the lion, before reluctantly entering through the wide opening, her guard raised even so. As she approached which she imagined was the end of the cave, the greater the intensity of the light grew. “How fascinating,” whispered Lynn in awe, as she reached out to touch it, but instead of touching the light, which was physically impossible in the first place, it felt like there was a sudden break in time, her mind rewinding the minutes. In fact, she was being teleported to a different location, a different yet similar cave shining in the same light, however the sound of water trickling in the background caught her attention. Crown of coral tresses shook as she turned around to witness a small waterfall, water cascading down its uneven steps. Randomly aligned next to it were slabs of stone adorned with bright cyan runes. The hairs on her body stood on end at such a sacred sight. However, a familiar scent wafted into her sensitive nose. She was not alone.

Rekka was resting after another long day of work, she had continued to do her investigation into those who supported her parents sick habits and had quite a list of people involved. She had killed many people that had abused her but some were far to high in society to get close to, she had spent so much of her jewels to bring justice to them. However she was starting to get low on her funds, this seemed to be the end of the line for being able to simply use money and influence to take her targets out. She began to close her eyes before she heard a familiar laugh as she looked down at her sword g,lowing and began to hear its voice in her head.

"Lets kill some people you will feel so much better after you just let it go, come on Rekka just like old times, lets skin them alive let us east and consume their flesh."

It would begin to laugh manically as Rekka lifted her hand to her head glaring at her sword, she hated this sword it was so evil like she had been in the past and always talked to her but she would keep the blade, a reminder to what she never wanted to be again.

"I will not do those things ever again, I am bringing justice in my own way you sick fuck... I will keep you as a reminder to never let myself become a monster like you."

The sword would once again laugh as it began to fade in her mind her hand now shaking as she sheathed her blade, maybe she would find someone to make a special sheath to cover her blade so she would not see these delusions it liked to bring her.

Suddenly she saw a light before her it was bright and seemed to be calling her, if this was a trap it seemed way to elaborate and she doubted the rune knights would use this sort of tactic. She moved toward the light cautiously before it suddenly sucked her inside and dropped her inside of a new location. She looked around wondering just where the hell she was her hand on her blade ready to fight if anything tried to attack her.

A gentle breeze, a humid air, a faraway chirp of a family of birds; the night was calm and still in the East Forest of Magnolia Town, and Isaac, a friend of the Fairies and ex Rune Knight, sat there quietly against the soft grass. The brunette stared into the pond in front of him, tall grass and other aquatic vegetation poking out of the water as fireflies flickered their lights above it, reflecting the light off the waters.

There sat Isaac, staring into the water, a full moon reflected off of it. It's majesty, it's light, it's size, all reflected in such calm, peaceful waters. Isaac had a lot on his mind, being let go from the Rune Knights, befriending the Fairies, and attempting to get back on his feet. He sighed, I should head back home. Isaac thought to himself before pushing himself up from the ground, dusted his rear, shoulders, and knees off, and began to turn to walk back towards the trail. But as his eyes grazed the tip of the water, he noticed a twinkling light.

No, no moonlight was focused could be so notable. Isaac paused, and stared into the water, slowly looking up to find the source of the reflection. All was silent until Isaac slightly flinched to the surprising sound of a wolf's howl. Isaac looked up to the starry sky, then back to the light. "..." He said nothing, and walked around the perimeter of the pond to get to the other side where the light was, deeper into the forest.

He stepped through the tall grass, and pushed through the thicket of leaves and bushes until the light grew brighter, and brighter. Isaac began to squint as he finally reached out for the light, wincing to it's blinding light.

All fell silent, and as Isaac would open his eyes, he was in a completely different place. Nothing but small scratches were on the same palm he used to grasp the light. His finger uncoiled from his palm, as Isaac would examine it questionably. So it's some sort of magic?...Well, Isaac peeked over his shoulder, there was nothing but a wet, stone wall, Not like I can go back now. He chuckled, turning back around and continuing down the stone corridor, a chocolaty darkness greeted him, but the same thieving light guided him through one of many possible paths of the unfamiliar or uncharted cavern, despite the light, his olive hand would glide across one of the slippy, wet rock walls as he walked down the corridor.

There air got tighter, yet his breathing was simply controlled. Isaac made his way to an opening, a cavern filled with pools of water and other small amounts of people, who he assumed came to the same destination by the same means. Isaac slowly walked out one of the exits of the corridors, "How exquisite..."

Daemon ran swiftly as he followed the light after letting out a loud howl to the full moon. He loved the feeling of the full moon shining against his fur it caused his blood to surge with life and vigor. Atop Daemon's furry back was a small girl with long silver hair sleeping peacefully as they reached their destination just before the midnight hour.

Daemon and the girl slowly reached the meeting point as they noticed quite a few people here each with their own individual scents several of which were difficult to endure due to the amount of blood seems to be practically caked into their skin. Daemon stopped atop a large stone by the water  and slide the small girl off his back before shifting into his human form.

Daemon stretched a bit and cracked a few joints in his back before he kneelt down and picked up the small girl and sat down on the stone as the girl slowly woke up and climbed out of his arms and sat next to him. The young male had teal hair, yellow eyes, and a very pale complexation. attached to Daemon's left hip was a simple katana with a purple bead attached to the hilt. His garb was a black and silver kimono without shoes. The most notable feature of Daemon's physical form is the auto mail arm fashioned to his shoulder.

Daemon looked at the people around him and pulled out a pot of green tea and a set of cups from a duffel bag he carried across his right shoulder and behind his back. "Would any one care for some green tea ?" He asked calmly hoping to get a few people to lower their guard so he could remove a few eyes and limbs before going down. Before Daemon could blink however the small girl had taken one of the cups and asked very cutely much to Daemon embarrassment for some snacks to go along with the tea he just started to pour her some tea and pulled out what looks like a small bun and handed it to her.

BY THE EDGE OF MY BLADE, AND THE TIP OF MY BULLET I WILL PROTECT THOSE I LOVE... EVEN IF I HAVE TO PROTECT THEM FROM MYSELF.
Lexa had been awake the full night, her mind unable to rest under such still nights as this one, nor was she willing to do so when the moon was so large. It had been something that occurred after the druidic ritual performed in Black Rose that awakened her inner beast, causing her to fall in love with the night to an extent. Suddenly, the blonde haired woman had seen a bright blue light in the distance, one that she had never seen before. To the best of her knowledge, no natural processes could cause such a light, which lead her to believe that the source was magical in nature... "Yo, S... you seein' what I'm seein?" she asked using a communications channel between herself and her sniper drone. "No abnormalities registered." the unit responded, letting Lexa know that she was the only one... Harmony, otherwise known as Z-666 by their creators, was fast asleep so Lexa decided not to wake her. "Common, we're goin' for a ride." she said, standing up and walking off the edge of the tower of her flagship 'The Sentinel' only to land in a single-seat compartment in her Sniper Drone.

    The Call Td6cHsK

Through the grey colored window, so grey in fact that looking inside from the exterior would reveal no windows at all... just a solid grey shell, Lexa had piloted the 6 foot wide craft to a mountain that she had passed hundreds, if not thousands of times before. "You see something that is unique to yourself. Caution is advised." SD-031 said over the cockpit speakers. Lexa went into the system alone, following the tunnels to find herself hovering inside her craft, still completely hidden from everyone, looking at a generous group of individuals... Suddenly, the hovering craft would morph into a mech of sorts, dropping out the air and slamming onto the ground. Its right arm appearing as a tri-barreled machine gun, but it wasn't spinning up... in fact, it had began morphing into a full-blown arm and hand as the machine looked around the room...

    The Call ZQUU7bK

As for Lexa, she was nowhere to be seen at all. Lexa had converted her entire being into electrons, allowing herself to monitor the situation from a third person perspective. The fact that she gave off no scent or sound, even while in human form, made it impossible to know she was there. The fact that in electron form she couldn't be sensed no matter what methods one tried using, made her feel a bit better as she watched.

SD-031 had walked further in, the speakers he had turning up loudly to emit a very loud, high pitched sound to attempt to get the attention of the group. "Pardon." he said with a very robotic sounding tone. "I am Ess-Dee Zero Three One. This unit wishes to inquire the cause for our summoning, on behalf of his creator." he said with the same tone, hoping that someone would be able to answer the question.

Post by Ringo Noyamano 8th July 2016, 5:17 am

"A cave?" Ringo said as she finally reached the end of her destination. She was already about to call it a night when a mysterious howl broke the silence of her solitude. It had been months since her guild had disbanded, she managed to find a secluded land far from prying eyes and decided to call it home, at least for a little while. Using her magic, she built herself a tree house and camouflaged the surrounding so her little patch of land would be virtually invisible to outsiders and she lived like a hermit, totally cut off from the rest of the world. That's why when she heard the howl and saw the light from the sky she got intrigued, was this suppose to be an ominous prelude to some sort of cataclysm?

Ringo was still cautious, she doesnt sense any malevolent force around her but this could still be a trap. "So what now?" she spoke, still catching her breathing from all the running she did earlier. She waited for a bit but she was gradually getting impatient by this point and it was evident in her face, her brows had already furled together and her lips had curled into a frown. "Ok nothings happening, might as well just go home and sleep. At least I  managed to get some exercise before I sleep." But as she was about to turn and leave, something flickered inside the dark cave. It was faint  but she knew she saw light coming from inside. She took this as a sign from someone or something and hesitantly entered the cave.

The cave was dark and it seems to be leading her deep within the earth. It was eerily quite for all she could hear was the sound of her breathing and the drops of water falling off the cave's ceiling. She could not remember how many turns she had taken already, apparently the light was there to lead her through a vast cave system, and since nothing had attacked her for the pat 15 minutes, it was safe to assume that whoever was doing this was no foe, or at least she hoped so, it would be bad if she were to die in obscurity. She was so busy contemplating the possibility of dying without anyone finding her body that she failed to notice the sound of rushing water, and the fact that there was something bright up ahead, much brighter than the light that had guided her there.

It seems that the path she took led her to spacious clearing deep within the earth, were dozens of other people had gathered. Looking around, she saw other tunnels that could have led them there. But just who the hell were they and what the hell were they doing there. She planned on staying within the shadows and just observe when she saw familiar faces among the crowd, so she walked towards them, hoping to get answers as to what was going on right now.

    Snowflake

    Ice Queen

The scintillating light from the full moon was bright enough to illuminate the undulating lands of Crocus. A gentle breeze blew through the town as translucent strands of blue hair wafted along with the wind. The prickly sensation of the grass underneath poked through her clothing, lightly prodding against her pale skin. The sky had never been so clear and the moon so apparent, compared to all the times the girl had snuck out to bask under the moonlight. A soft hum of slow music escaped her lips, her boots tapping against the ground along with the beat. Eyes closed, the Ice mage felt the wind had blown off once again, leaving a loud bright night with wings beating in the trees. The young girl’s dark eyelashes fluttered open, revealing a pair of silver irises that glanced upwards into the sky as her humming echoed throughout the silent area.

How long has she been here? That she was not aware of, nor even paid attention to the hours she had been spending alone. A soothing place where no one else existed was something she wanted. With a picturesque view such as the scenery above, the girl was content; more than satisfied even. The loud howl that rang throughout the land pierced her ears, only to abruptly cease her chain of thoughts. Irritated, the sapphire-haired girl balanced her body in a reclining position on her two hands whilst looking around for the source of the sound. There she noticed – a ray of blue light travelling into a distance, somewhere unknown, mysterious. Strangely enough, she felt light-headed, but at the same time she was drawn towards the ray of light that would perhaps lead her to a place.

Before the girl noticed anything, she found herself standing in front of a cave, the light still leading her into the cave. For a moment, the Ice wizard pondered if she should continue any further into the path or turn around to go back to where she was. To begin with, she was completely oblivious to how she ended up at such a place. Azure irises stared into the cave, attempting to perceive anything inside the structure, but to no avail. Blue strands of hair fell past her face before she tucked it neatly behind her ear and decided that there was no backing now. The light continued to lead her further into the cave and all she could hear was the gush of water and the vague voices of humans. Something was strange.

Post by Daniel Ross 10th July 2016, 3:57 pm

It was a chilly night, and Daniel knew it. Not having rented a house after ending his first year long expidition of the world, he had no where to go. Having left his old guild, and grabbing his precious medical supplies and his back pack, he walked along the treeline and stopped near a building. As he sat down to rest for an hour, and he saw a faint blue light in the forest. He also heard a faint howling noise. Standing up, he slowly walked into the forest, and followed the glow. He then tripped over a log that glowed faintly with this blue, and said, "What the heck? That log wasn't there a moment ago." Standing up, he looked around and saw a cave near by.
Taking a match out of his bag, he picked up a log and made a make shift torch. "Looks like a place to spend the night." Daniel slowly walked into the cave, and looked back, finding solid rock. Shrugging, he continued forward, until he came upona chasm. In it, was a small garden like area. There were several people in it he hadn't seen before. Flipping up his hood, he jumped down into the chasm, landing on both feet and bracing his landing with a hand to the ground and a hand behind him. Uncrouching, he stood up and studied the area silently.

Chiyo had been wandering the streets of Magnolia when she heard the howl. How cold and empty these streets seemed at night. The young woman spat bitterly. Because the people of Magnolia were cold. They had caused the deaths of innocent people. Chiyo followed the howl, interested. Her long legs moved faster and faster the farther she got from Magnolia. As she entered the forest, a calm settled over her. Whatever this was, it was meant to be. It certainly seemed appropriate for one whose family had kept wolves for pets. Chiyo came to the cave and paused. She didn't know why she hesitated, but she did. Chiyo shook herself rather crossly and entered the cave that called out to her so. As she made her way along the passage Chiyo swallowed any doubts she may have had and simply pushed through, until she entered a much larger cave. Wait. There were people in that cave. Chiyo tensed as she quickly counted the others.

    "Mages."

The deep voice resonated suddenly throughout the chamber, attracting the attention of all those who've arrived.  The runes painted upon the slabs of stone bean to glow brighter, illuminating a white haired figure, who stood wreathed in white vapor that surrounded him like smoke to a flame. He stood tall upon the mound of piled stones, water falling behind him.  He puffed on his Cigar as he peered out angrily over the crowd of individuals.  Nonchalantly, he took his cigar and flicked the ashes from it.  "I expected more of you."  He said, placing the cigar back betwixt his lips and continuing to stare towards the crowd of confused mages.  "But I suppose that is precisely why you are all here.  I am Nimbus, Lord Commander of the Garou Knights.  For centuries, we've remained in the shadows, catering to the Nation's fallen enemies, while Fiore has fallen in to the hands of the unrighteous.  The line between good and evil has become a blur, and the Law no longer serves to protect the innocent.  I've seen it.  You've all seen it.  So few remain, who are able to clearly define that line between good and evil."  Lord Nimbus paused and puffed on his cigar, glaring at the rabble of misfits.  "You few, who've been shown the way here have heeded a Call to arms!  You have all been deemed worthy, to join the ranks of the Garou Knights and take action.  Whoever you are or what you think you are... Criminals, traitors, weaklings...  You are being given a chance at redemption, to place the interests of the Nation and its people before your own, and make right the wrongs in this country, that have lead you astray."

Nimbus stepped forward on to the edge of the stone pedestal on which he stood.  "For those who think this responsibility is too much for them... I give you leave."  A door opened at the opposite end of the chamber, circled by glowing blue runes on the wall.  He peered out towards the crowd and waited for a moment, puffing away at his cigar.  With a grin, he took his Cigar and flicked away some ashes.  "Very good."  Placing the cigar back in his mouth, Nimbus turned towards the waterfall and plunged his hand in to the water and from it, he drew an enormous steel broadsword, with a Wolfs head carved in to the pommel and swiftly swung it towards the crowd of mages, spraying them with drops of water.  The blade shimmered in the blue light of the Den Pool as it hovered over the mage's heads.

    "I Dub Thee Knights!"

The new recruits, lead by their new Lord Commander, were then brought to the Abyss Palace where they learned over the course of three months their code of Honor, and the methods of the Garou Knights. Through rigorous training and exercise their individual talents and skills were evaluated and they were divided in to the three divisions of the Garou Knights.  Their bonds with one another grew stronger and they were enlightened as to the true evils lurking in Fiore.  Though they are Knights, their training is far from over and their mission will never be done.
