Kodai walked into the Spooky Forest, bow at the ready. He seemed to spend a lot of time in this dark, dreary wood. Why, just last week, he had rescued a little boy from the clutches of Vulcans and bandits and lions and... turkeys, for some reason. The Huntsman shrugged and kept moving. His job this time was to find the white flower deep within the dark forest. He jerked slightly as he heard the sound of howling from deeper within the forest. Wolves. Lots of them. He heard more howling from the other side of the forest, and it carried a distinctive deeper pitch. A sound Kodai knew well. The howling of a direwolf. From within a shallow pocket within his bag, the hunter drew out a small, golden whistle. He blew it, but it made no sound. At least, no sound humans could hear. Only one creature could hear the whistle, and knew what it meant. Minutes later, a patch of shadow detached from the rest and slid over to Kodai's right side. From within the shadow emerged Kodai's faithful direwolf companion, Skia. Kodai felt much better about this job now that Skia was here.

Re: The Rarest Flower (Solo Job)
Kodai then shook his head. He wouldn't depend on his wolf to protect him. He was a mage, he could deal with enemies on his own. "Go home, Skia. Go home." Kodai said, before blowing a note sequence on his whistle. Skia snuffled and whimpered, then licked Kodai's head and rested her muzzle on it for a short while. She then slunk off to the edge of the small clearing they were in, then looked back at her master. "Be careful." she spoke into his mind. "I'm always careful. Do not worry." he replied mentally. With a final whimper, Skia sank into her shadow and slipped away. Feeling somewhat vulnerable, Kodai raised his bow higher. Minutes later, the first monster of many jumped into the clearing. Kodai began to circle around the clearing, an arrow pointed at the beast, seeking an opening. Soon, the creature leapt, and the Huntsman let his arrow fly at the monster's now-exposed throat.
