The sea.  What a beautiful view of a vast, endless ocean for Seru to gaze at.  Her travels had eventually brought her here, too; she was determined not only to learn everything it possibly had, but also where it could lead her.  She was about a days worth from the shipyard already, though covered the distance in mere seconds.  No boat could possibly do that, which leads to the next peculiar thing about her situation; it appeared as though she was walking on water, while in actuality she was walking on her own mana which took the same colour as the ocean - brilliant, bright cyan.

She was still smiling, however; she was enjoying herself and her discoveries of this "new world", somewhat excited by the fact she couldn't see the end of the ocean or anything near her, with the exception of a few bandit boats along the way whilst she was traveling at her extreme speed.  She was, however, lost.  When she had arrived at the shipyard, she didn't even concern herself with taking a map or asking around to get an idea of where lead to what, she only saw an ocean and excitement took over, and as a result, she was quite literally in the middle of nowhere.  She could retrace her steps, but...  What was the fun in that?

"Hmm...", she mumbled to herself, "Where have I found myself now?  More importantly...  Where should I go?" Little did she know, however, that she would experience her first real challenge in this world in a few mere moment, and a person who would eventually become a friend of hers.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
    "Bless me, with the
    Leaf off of the tree.
    On it, I see
    the Freedom Reign.
    We are falling.
    The light is calling.
    Tears inside me,
    calm me down.
    Midnight, calling
    Mist of resolving.
    Crown me, with the
    Pure green leaf...

The only sound that seemed to fill up the air in the surrounding waters was the sound of his own voice. Deniel's own voice. He stood there in complete solitude with only an endless expansion of water surrounding him. Just underneath his feet were logs tied together, and bound tight to make sure nothing came loose. Of course he always had the option to walk on water, or fly, but doing that would be a hassle, and a waste of Magic Power. Why should he traverse the distance so easily when he could just enjoy the silence? The sweet, sweet silence of himself? Aside from his own singing, anyways. Surrounding him was a body of water that carried itself with little waves, and even fewer winds. He let the light breeze guide his path, in spite of the fact that it might lead him no where. Or it may lead him somewhere...one could never know with the daunting sea.

    "Praise to my father...
    Blessed by the water,
    black night, dark sky...
    the devils cry."

He concluded the verse of the melody to himself, and then all was silence. In the distance he could perhaps hear the screeching of gulls, or the small disturbances his raft caused in the water by displacing it. Though aside from that, it seemed as though there would be no one around until he reached dry land. And perhaps even then, there would be nothing.

His raft carried itself very slowly, but surely, through the waters. Out of boredom he started the song once more, but this time he decided to hum the lyrics rather than sing them out loud. And his hum was very quiet...almost silent. And the silence of it would grow continuously over the span of only a few seconds. Eventually, he was completely silent, without a single motion or word coming out of his mouth. His thoughts, on the other hand, began to roam free with the figure he saw in front of him. It looked like a woman treading on water, with her back to him. He had never seen much like it, but knew better than to think that things were impossible for this land filled with Magic.

Demonic energy was what he sensed coming from the woman, and that caused a frown to furrow across his face. A siren, probably... If it was a demon out at sea, he could not let it live so that any other unfortunate travelers or sailors would be in harm's way from its path. In his left hand he carried his katana by its scabbard, ready in case anything from the sea decided to strike at him. Ironic seeing as he was about to strike at something first... Approaching the supposed siren very slowly due to his raft's speed--although it did provide for a very silent one--he reached for the hilt of his katana. All he ever needed was one cut.

When his raft reached a close enough distance, the sound of a blade being unsheathed from its scabbard was heard, and off the Nephalem was from the raft. Straight into the air, he came crashing down with the force of gravity and his own strength, his blade extended to deliver a straight vertical cut down the back of the 'siren''s body. And not a word escaped from his mouth. He expected to see a corpse hacked in half very shortly.

Seru began humming as she decided where she was to go, and yet, she began to sense something drawing nearer, and nearer, and nearer...  Till, eventually, she recognized exactly what it was - a man on a boat passing by, or so she would've thought.  He was silently passing by, yet she found it odd that he wasn't in the least interested in her when he saw her, and she didn't particularly want to bother him, so she let him be, or so was her intention.  She found it very suspicious that he was edging towards her, however, on his raft, slowly, as though not to alert her.  When he reached for his weapon, that's when she was already prepared for an oncoming attack, whatever it may be, though she would still appear clueless, for this could work very well in her advantage.

Eventually came a point where the man felt it as an appropriate distance to attack her and the sound of him unsheathing his blade could be heard, though she would not react to it quite yet, waiting for the moment just before he struck her Excalibur immediately appeared in her hand and she made a complete spin, blocking the oncoming attack in an instant.  Reflective Guard would normally make it so that the force used for the attack would be sent in the opposite direction; taking that opportunity for attack, Seru modified stance quickly and lunged towards the man and slashed towards his groin with a horizontal slash.

Whether or not she was successful at landing the hit was almost irrelevant because in addition to the fact that as this was all transpiring, Seru had activated Blind Justice, following it up with a diagonal slash in an attempt to do the exact same thing he tried on her - cleaving the body in half, only hers slightly one upped his by being practically invisible all while using Dimensional Cut the moment she swung with her sword.  Whether she did or did not land her strikes, she would immediately use Leyline Manipulation to back off and keep her distance slightly.  She was against an unknown opponent, one confident enough that he could take her out in one blow, so he was not one to mindlessly aggress on, or so she would've hoped.

She was fairly confident he would be able to survive such an attack, though if he couldn't, then it wouldn't matter too much, either way.  If he was alive and standing, she'd point her sword towards him saying, "Why must you attack me?  Have I wronged you in any way?"  Normally childish, innocent and sweet, Seru did have those defensive instincts that any other living being would have, and would become far more serious if forced to.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
The very instant just before his attack had connected, Deniel was expecting to hear the sound of flesh being torn, bones snapping, blood spilling, and himself splashing right into the sea. Instead he found himself being thrown right backwards in the exact direction he came, as if hitting a reflection or mirror image of himself. Reacting on the sheer instinct that something was not right in that factor, he used the momentum gained from his own attack and reflection to flip himself right backwards mid-air. His eyes looked right onto a blade as time itself seemed to slow down for a brief moment, his body narrowly dodging a counter strike made by the female he had initially struck at. Once again not giving a second thought, to his next move, Magic Power instantly flowed through the body and veins of the Nephalem that assaulted her. A swing came from his right hand carrying the blade, another attempt to attack her, but instead it seemed as though he parried some form of...invisible attack.

Instead of splashing into the sea, he landed right on his feet on top of the water in a very similar way she was. His hair had turned silver, his eyes blue, and his clothing white. The White Angel had awoken, but not completely due to the urgency of the situation, so the armor itself had not come into play. With the clothing changed, the actual form was now manifesting itself. Dark blue crystal orbs appeared floating just above the man's wrists, knees, front shoulder blades, and three of them near his chest area. Following the formation of the orbs, a blue aura coated itself in his body from head to toe. As it did so, his mind was finally able to focus on the matter at hand: what exactly just happened? His attack wasn't sent right back at him to damage him, rather the force behind it reflected. And when he went in for another attack, it seemed like he parried an invisible blade from hitting himself. How peculiar.

His eyes narrowed right at the female just before they were completely covered as the rest of his body was. From the bright blue aura, white armor had suddenly come into existence right in its place, brightly shining and reflecting the sunlight as the entirety of his body--save for the locations of his limbs which were covered in a softer black armor--became a glorious beacon of holiness. Even blade he held within his hand turned to a pale white color, and another one lay resting at his side near his waist.

There was now a distance between him and the female he assaulted, no doubt giving her time to breathe after the sudden attack. Now the both of them were aware of each other's presence, though more than likely not the least bit aware of their capabilities. It was high time he tested her out once more, perhaps finding the source of the strange phenomenal effects occurred earlier. His second hand reached for his side, and unsheathed a second blade whilst he pointed the first right at her. "Not me, and not yet... I sense a demonic presence in you. And there isn't a doubt in my mind that if I let you go this day, someone somewhere will suffer the consequences." He took one slow step closer to her, the heavy armor on his body not sinking beneath the surface of the water. Now they were on an equal playing field...or perhaps not. Both blades were now drawn, and the next phase of the fight could begin.

He decided to toy with her a little bit so he could get a grasp at her reactions and prowess. After taking yet another step forward, he vanished from his current position by taking flight nearly at his maximum speed. His first appearance was made right in front of her, his blade already drawn back to take a swing. Just as his blade propelled itself forward in his grasp right to her chest region, the attack never landed. The White Angel ceased his assault, flew right up to the sky, and then brought himself down with his blade extended to impale her, as if he had feigned his attack as a distraction. That was yet another feign, however... all of them were intended to be. There was no actual offensive intent for this seemingly pointless flurry of attacks composed of him vanishing from one location around her, appearing at another, swinging his blade, and then repeating the process. After above he came from in front yet again, then to the side, and then behind her. The last time he came right in front of her again before swiftly retreating about twenty meters away from her location. An assault came, but no swing of his blade would land. They were never intended to.

Seru observed as her attacks were shrugged aside with no real trouble, though she wasn't too surprised.  What did surprise her, however, was the fact that this mans appearance changed as she was striking him, which meant one of two things; he was either extremely quick at casting spells and magic on the fly, or his magic responded to danger, neither would bring her too much surprise after experiencing it once.  His hair was turning the colour white, and his body being coated with a blue aura due to the strange orbs that appeared around him, or so she assumed, anyways; he was clad in armour and possessed a new blade.  She could tell that this was some sort of transformation, or could it be his true form?  She couldn't be certain, though at this point it appeared as though he was at the very least slightly more serious about the attempt in killing her.

When he responded to her questions, she opened her mouth and was able to start a sentence, "Demonic...  Presence?  Do you car-" She couldn't finish.  This form of his was fast, easily faster than she was at her current state.  Should it not of been for her Forgotten Old Necklace, she wouldn't have been able to swing her blade in time to parry the attack.  Then, another attack came.  And another.  And another.  Yet, these attacks felt...  Odd.  Throughout these flurry of attacks, Seru did not have to move from her location by even an inch; granted she possesses an item that allows her to react a lot better than she normally could, yet, if he was putting all of his effort into attacking her, she should at least be forced to move around or at least dig her feet in order to stay balanced...  Yet, she was able to parry every attack without the need to do so.

    He was playing with her.

She assumed that there would be a "real" attack, but it never came.  The very moment he began backing off, Seru changed her stance to one that looked like she was about to draw a sword, took a slight breath, and the moment he ceased movement, she was immediately in front of him.  Hoping to catch him off guard, Seru swung her blade horizontally, keeping her stance slightly after delivering the cut in order to try to bait an attack; her frozen cut would be able to deflect it.  Whichever the case, one giving her a slight advantage, she would proceed to use her unseen slash for another quick strike aimed for his chest, using her frozen cut for practically double the force and firepower.  Leyline Manipulation allowed her to quickly re-position herself after the slash, changing to a quick defensive stance so he wouldn't be able to get an easy strike.

She gave him little breathing room by aligning herself to another leyline and in a brilliant, cyan coloured quick step, grabbing Excalibur in such a way she could deliver a heavy thrust from the side of his ribs, trying to push him back, too; she wanted to see just how much stability this guy had.  When she reached her her destination, she kept her frozen cut and her unseen action for if he tried any funny action with his other sword.  If he was still in range of her, she'd quickly jump so her foot was level with his head and tried to kick it with her steel boot.  Whether or not he blocked, she'd use it as leverage to catapult herself back wards, performing a back flip into the air and would sprout angelic-like wings.

If he wasn't in range, she'd use her quick step once more to gain more distance by going backwards and jumped up all the 150 meters she could into the air, sprouting angelic-like wings, covering what he could see of the sun, with her blade pointed towards him.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
Almost at the same instant he fell back, she came straight for him in a counterattack. He was not entirely surprised, and it was a nice way to test how his opponent handled onslaughts. She moved her sword to parry each and every time, and would have nearly succeeded in parrying them all if any of them had actually hit. The swift retaliation was definitely expected, and he was more than ready to be on the defensive. He deflected the first attack with one blade, and then followed up deflecting the attack composed of her Magic Power with the second. He noticed how the force was not deflected right back at him this time...unlike his first strike. The thought of that was swiftly interrupted, as the shattering sound filled the air of the calm sea. Her sword was thrust right through the largest orb jewel, right at the center of his chest. No blood was drawn, since she didn't impale deep enough to actually penetrate his skin, but that was not the important part. In a second swift reaction, the White Angel brought both of his blades to swift spinning strikes against her, but all he hit was the thin air. She retreated following that.

He couldn't recall a time anyone could penetrate his armor, much less the jewels, which were one of its strongest points. Underneath the golden lenses of his helmet, the White Angel's blue eyes narrowed. He was lucky that no internal damage came to him, but he could not say the same for his armor. Fortunately, this put him at a huge advantage. Not only was he very close to figuring out the source of some of her mysterious attacks and powers, but she had also opened up his mind and body to getting serious...for real this time. Magic Power began to infuse within his armor, activating abilities that were considered passive.

He was ready for the next time she assaulted him following her small retreat.

Standing completely still in preparation, one of his blades went to his side in preparation for her attack, blocking it the moment he tried to hit her. From that, he noticed the cyan colored blade on stand-by to attack him, although it never came. Another piece of information for him. Too distracted by his discoveries, there wasn't any counter to the next attack made by her, nor did he try striking back after easily blocking her first strike. At the very least he brought in his second blade to have the object she gained height and leverage off of would be his blade--though a dull section of it--and not his face. Looking up to the sky, he was quite shocked to see angelic feathered wings sprout out from her back miraculously. He sensed a demonic presence in her, but she wielded a holy blade, and carried angelic wings... could she be...? No. Impossible.

If she wanted to take the battle to the skies, he would gladly follow. His White Angel form was much better in the skies than on the ground--or water--and she would definitely find out now. Swinging both of his blades behind him, he created two waves from the calm sea as a reaction to his swings. Waiting for a brief moment after the waves, the White Angel burst straight up from the water's surface, beneath him the water quite literally split for a few brief moments as a result. Once he reached the same height as she was in his flight, both of his blades were coated in his Magic Power, which he had only conveyed when donning his armor. A bright blue aura around the two white blades, and he was about to give her a taste of what was to come. With a swing of his blade from the distance they were at, a crescent shaped composition of his Magic Power manifested the exact way and direction the blade would strike, and charged forward straight for her at 60 meters per second. In its wake, small traces of Holy Energy--his Magic Power--formed at the sides of the White Angel, one for each. These quickly manifested themselves into small blades, and were launched straight for Seru 20 meters faster than the wave of Holy Energy was. Almost instantly following the first strike, there came a second, with the exact same result of two blades forming.

Traveling faster than both the blades and the slash that he created, the White Angel lurched forward in the sky with both blades at an X shape. Uncrossing the X shape just before he reached her, he ceased his movements almost at a point-blank range, and uncrossed both of his blades at the X rank shape. In addition to the blades naturally cutting, there were two more waves created from each, one for each blade. And then four more launched blades from the his shoulders were launched yet again. Even though he had got in front of his two previous attacks from earlier, they would go straight through them with no damage, and go for her. Following the double slash, he would go straight through her as if he were a ghost, deal a very slight amount of damage if she were caught in his wake, and was then behind behind her. The very last attack from his was quite small, but could add something; with his blade still in his right hand, he pointed two fingers at her, and fired three very small--but extremely fast--bullets made of Holy Energy.

Seru was successful in landing a few strikes; he still hadn't fully managed to decode some of the secrets to her attacks, and she doubted he'd be able to see them all, though he would definitely figure out some if she didn't close the battle quick, yet, for some reason, after the attack where she successful struck his armour, she felt like that wasn't going to happen anytime soon.  Almost immediately after they entered the skies, she knew she had made a grave mistake.  He was approaching her much faster than before; he split the ocean in half very briefly and emerged from the giant waves the created with raw power alone, which showed Seru that he was both a lot more powerful than she originally gave him credit for and he was taking the battle much, much more seriously.

As a result, she too would be forced to become more serious.

First thing is first, though, she had to be certain she wouldn't die in his assault, and while quite terrifying, she already knew she would survive whatever there was to come.  She was capable of repelling the second coated strikes that sent out a blue crescent shaped energy wave shaped like an X towards her with a single strike; her actual swing for one of them and her frozen cut for the other.  Four more of these blades appeared around him and was surprised by the fact that they were double the swords, unlike before, which caught her slightly by surprise but gave her the information that he could multiply the amount of swords he did indeed send out whose conditional activation appeared to be using actual strikes and attacks.

Because of this sudden shock, she was capable of dealing with two of the blades normally, and for the other two was forced to use Dimensional Aid which created an image of her briefly to null the other two swords.  His tactic in attempting to distract her from his earlier two attacks was cute, but not good enough; Seru was capable in knowing they were already coming through Absolute Perception, though was surprised he wasn't moving out of the way in order to avoid getting hit.  After she was done repelling the two attacks, she was somewhat surprised by the attacks phasing through him and still keeping their original trajectory, though not entirely; it wasn't the most uncommon thing in the world to see the magic of mages not affect them, or so she had experienced in the past; dodging the strikes by swiftly back stepping under the effects of Trackless Step, the man disappeared and she felt...  Cold.

He hadn't gone too far, but he was several meters behind her, presumably preparing another attack, though that's when she decided she had enough of defending and retaliating.  Transforming into a body of pure mana, she found herself, in an instant, behind this man.  She had already grabbed her blade with both hands previous as she back stepped the previous assault, and so when she was behind him, she performed an insanely heavy stab to the center of his back, attempting to severely harm him.  Regardless of the outcome, she would give her mana a form in the extension of her blade, literally doubling its length and width through Lith Infusion, and if she had successful struck him...  Well, he wouldn't be having a good time, to say the least.

Now, she could dance with him.

She wasn't quite done there, though.  If she had successful struck him, she'd kick him out of the blade and continue her assault, otherwise, she'd instantly close the gap between him and herself in an instant through the use of her breathing technique; she was NOT happy.  Blind Justice allowed to her perform an unseen overhead slash attack reinforced with a frozen cut whilst she dashed below him as pure mana only to then attempt to cleave him perfectly in half coming from slightly in front of him, whilst an image of herself did the exact same thing but from behind him; it would look like a giant pair of scissors cutting him in half.

She would immediately appear behind him once again and use her hilt to try to smack him on his back, not so much to hurt him but to hurl him towards her frozen cut, which she would immediately activate and hopefully if she was struck by it the force and momentum would throw him back to the frozen cut behind him; at this point, Seru dashed as mana right above him, and briefly recreated a platform for her to push off of in order to gain vast momentum towards the man, extending her sword forward to try to drill through him if he wasn't already dead.  The moment he'd reach him and perform her strike, however, she'd transform into mana a final time and once again, appear below him, but only this time, their feet were touching perfectly.

She'd push off as hard as she could in order to send him flying up to the sky, and herself down to the water which sent out an enormous wind wave in all directions.  She landed perfectly, creating a loud "SPLOOSH" sound when she did, also causing the water that wasn't within a 5 foot radius around her to shoot up into the sky in a massive pillar, which then of course turned into brief rain.

With that move, she set it pretty obvious - he was better in the sky, but she was better fighting "on ground".  So, who would get impatient first?

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
This was getting more and more interesting by the moment. First she didn't perish at his first strike. Then she was able to actually damage his armor. And now she still didn't die from him using a few of his abilities. It was almost about time he stopped underestimating her, and get truly serious about winning this fight. Realizing that the place she was more than likely relocating herself was his back--as many attacks were designed to be most effective with--he avoided it without a moment's hesitation. Dashing straight forward in the air faster than he had ever gone before--since it was backed up by an ability--he turned around upon arriving ten meters from his current location, a trail of blue Holy Energy left in his wake that dissipated after a moment. When he turned around, he found that she not only had tried to stab him, but practically doubled the length of her blade as well in an attempt to keep him from avoiding it, or to try extra damage. It was a good call on his end to use Nephalem Dash. The blade was not far from his location.

And then came the next attack. Remembering his theory about the way her strikes were composed, his response to her next one was a little bit...unusual. Rather than positioning himself a certain way, attempting to avoid it, or try and track her movements, he stood still. The gap was closed instantly, and in response, Deniel spun his blade around as fast as he could in the grip of his right hand, circling it like a fan. He didn't see any strike coming from her, but certainly enough, his blade caught on to something that was coming straight from above. While the right one could not block it from his loose grip, he was able to swing the left one to knock away her overhead strike, and then follow up with the right to deflect the frozen cut left behind. It seemed he figured out her little trick...or so he thought. He would have to find out soon enough.

Now he performed quite an awkward movement to counteract her next course of action. Sensing attacks coming from both above and below, he quite literally tilted himself in his stance to standing on his side, holding out a weapon on each side to block the attacks that came from above and below. What he had forgotten about when performing this action, was that each and every one of her attacks had an addition to it. Something critical that he should not have forgotten. As a result, he was impaled once right at the center of his chest, and impaled a second time in the exact same spot. His armor and its crystal were shattered from both ends, not only getting through it in his chest region, but also going straight through his skin and muscles. This move would have proved fatal to others, and he decided to play off that idea. With a smirk on his face beneath his helmet, he maneuvered himself to dodge the next strike coming from above him, but still appear as though he was helplessly falling.

Not long after she landed within the water, so he did he. And he appeared to be sinking, too. As if he perished, just from those two strikes. Anyone else would, really. They were aimed straight at the chest, and it was more than likely her strikes pierced and skewered his heart. Of course, while he was in the water, he did have a moment or two so he could think.

Every second attack is invisible, or so fast I can't see it. And every attack also leaves behind a second. And if she blocks my attacks, the force it sent back at me. Good thing I've got two swords. She's fast, too. Though she used a lot in that last attack... she might be worn out just a little bit. And she dodges my attacks more than anything, meaning she might be quite frail... I need to get better or I'll end up losing this.

From underwater, he briefly sheathed one of his blades, and one palm of his hand became covered in Holy Energy. Moving it over to his chest region, he briefly contemplated whether or not he should repair his armor, or his actual flesh. An idea came to his head, one that might help him win this fight. Choosing to repair his armor, on both sides the White Angel's armor was instantly repaired, and shining brand new again. It was tight enough to stop the bleeding from the wound, and the wound itself was not fatal to him at all.

Of course he would keep that a secret from her.

Following those events to himself, the White Angel once again emerged from the water after leaving her alone for a few moments, both of his swords still drawn, and both of them still covered in Holy Energy; the attack he charged earlier was not quite finished. And now that she was done with her offensive, it was time for him to begin his. First, a comment was in order: "Almost hit my heart there. Though I guarantee you...you won't get that opportunity again." Quickly slashing his two blades from the distance between them, he used the last two charges of Innocence on them; two crescent slashes, just like before, were launched out right at her, followed by four swifter blades created from excess energy of the attack.

The White Angel's body was then briefly covered up in a small pulse of Holy Energy, granting him a small bit of Take Over Energy. Then, the armor itself was ignited by what looked like a blue flame, though in reality it was nothing more than an engulfing excess of his Magical Power, Holy Energy. Except for this, it had an actual effect to it. One that he was not about to be conveyed. In spite of the fact that she was on the 'ground', he would not be using it. He didn't need to be sky-high to engage in aerial combat. Only three feet off of the ground, that's all he needed.

It was time for him to bust out a few tricks and secrets of his own. He brought both of his swords together, and the two of them suddenly merged, forming an enormous broadsword, but the most unusual factor about it was its demonic appearance; there was nothing angelic or holy about it, yet the Angel was still able to hold on to it. Closing the distance between them, he swung the broadsword straight from above his head towards hers, but the attack never landed. Another feint just like before, but he didn't teleport away this time. He didn't need two hands for the blade, it was as light as a feather either way. What the true intent of this attack was, was a punch. Straight towards her gut, followed by one aimed for her face, he put her in a bit of a rock and a hard place. She could deflect the blade, or the fist, but not both; his armored, masculine fist was certainly far more powerful than her feminine one. And even if she struck back, she would find herself damaged by the aura surrounding him. In addition, the two attacks created four more blades that launched themselves right at her.

Following that attack, he re positioned himself right above her, slamming his blade straight down towards her head. Of course, that was once again an attack that would never land; instead he used Nephalem Blink so that he teleported himself faster than he had ever done before himself right behind her, whatever her location was, and deliver a blow straight for her spine with the enormous blade. Two more blades were created, and launched. He hadn't even bothered taking the time to turn around when he delivered the backstab; he did it while holding the blade backwards. Digging his blade out, or just pulling it back if the attack missed, he gripped it with two hands, and split it right in half to the two previous twin katanas he held. Spinning his body around and carrying the blade with its momentum, he unleashed a small flurry of attacks--or parries if she had bothered to cut back at him following the attack--in which both of his blades were brought up to her one after the other, and then brought down in an overhead cleave on each of her shoulders, brought in like a pair of scissors to each of her sides, and then finally a jab towards each of her ribcages. 10 Rune Sabres launched in total. However, the sword on the right never made it, and that was yet another feint.

Instead, he brought it down towards the ocean's surface, and when he brought it back up, a pillar of Holy Energy ignited itself to explode over 40 meters into the sky, 20 meters thick, but it traveled 20 meters per second faster than its initial speed due to the White Angel empowering it with one of its supplementary spells. Even with Shining Wave, this was not the end of his attacks. Blinking once more, he was right above her this time around, his body turned downwards straight to her. Whilst the Shining Wave was hitting her, or she avoided it and he was right above her location, he spiraled his body around and unleashed a total of fifteen shots at once from the tips of his fingers, doing very little damage individually, but stacking up would be quite devastating. And in spite of the weakness of the spell, its speed was much faster than even Deniel was at the current moment. Using the last Blink he had available to him, he re positioned himself less then thirty meters away from her, and set up the final assault. Using 4 of the 8 stacks conjured earlier from his Magic, the Nephalem reset the spell Innocence, and would probably catch her off guard.

Especially since it had a twist this time around. His blades igniting themselves with Holy Energy just as before, he held the hilts just inches away from each other, and unleashed all six slashes at once one after the other. The first went straight for her, followed by two Rune Sabres that sped right past. The second, on the other hand, hit a random object that the White Angel placed; a mirror. It certainly did not look like it, since it was quite literally just a rectangle of Holy Energy in the path of the second crescent slash, but after hitting it, the slash bounced right off and started traveling up to the sky. Hitting another mirror, with the Rube Sabres following it, the direction it traveled was straight down to her from the sky. The third slash hit a different mirror that he placed down, traveling from an angle to the right side of her body. Making it seem as if he was going to cover her with slashes on all six sides, that was the complete opposite of his intentions. The very last trick he pulled out of his sleeve was with his swords and crescents at the same time. Throwing one sword from his grip, followed by another, Deniel created a motion in which he spun around with the two blades circling around him, almost like before, with both of them coming up from below with one after the other. The thing was, in spite of him throwing them, they were right in front of the female, and did the exact some motion as if they were with him, crescent slashes following up each sword strike, and two Rube Sabres launched from the Nephalem's location to a mirror, into the sky, straight down to her.

He brought the blade in his left hand back, while the right one slashed twice in an X shape to launch both crescent strikes, four Rube Sabres that each went to her from another set of mirrors, this time closing in on the left side of her. While he did this, the first of the Crescents had already gone straight to her, and the second was just arriving, with the Rube Sabres coming before them. He brought the right blade back, and the instant he did, the left one was already coming in for a high-speed jab at his location, one that was merely a feint, as it was brought immediately back, to distract her from the last of the Rube Sabres that had already closed in on her position.

He was finished for now, and didn't look the least bit tired.
