To Earthland... and Beyond!

Luna took one step forward, the person at the foremost of the queue was finished with his or her turn. “So, the kingdom opened a chance to go out the borders…” Luna had a long thought about that initiative the day before that day came. There were both pros and cons of such initiative. Whilst people may now travel everywhere easier, the passport provided also opens up chances for the illegal guild members to wreak havoc near the borders. Heck, a war might just ignite between Fiore and some other kingdom for any of the dark mage’s mischiefs.

Taking another step forward, Luna pondered through both the advantages and the disadvantages of this whole passport thing, hopeful that she would be able to think of more advantages rather than the opposite.

Luna sucked some of her cold chocolate drink. Looks like some people were very intelligent. A hawker came by and offered drinks to those who lined up, knowing they might be thirsty and all. Clever, very clever. Luna would have clapped hands for such a display of intellect. She herself fell for such strategy.


Anyway, looking at the bright side, she was already near her turn. All it took were 15 more people.. But then she realized that 10 of them were only representatives of their families, who were waiting eagerly out of the line for their respective representative’s turns to butt in.

“That, too. Very clever. Very.” Luna sighed, clapping her hands without making any sounds.

2:30 PM. Still had 7 more people to wait for, 3 of them being a representative for their families. Luna sighed, she had wasted half of her day for the whole passport thing. “Geez.. I guess I’ll just dedicate this whole day to that passport..” Luna looked around, and behind. There were those who already gave up. They waited as long as Luna did, only they got into the line much slower than those in the front did. Some of them fought for the early spots, so Luna thought maybe it was better to get a spot without any fighting.

She stepped forward, still waiting patiently. Hoping she would be able to have some chocolate shake after all that waiting, Luna stood on her two legs, which were starting to sore.
