Rin's Day out in Clover [CLOSED- Social l Rin and Chaos]

Alexei walked through the town, scowling. The newly-christened God Slayer was feeling rather uncomfortable; dealing without Steelshift had been strange enough, but now his powers were making him see things. He kept seeing these strange auras overlapping people; Blane had called it his 'God Sight', saying that it allowed him to measure emotions and the good/evil balance in people's hearts. Alexei wanted nothing to do with it; he didn't need to know the emotions of others, and his justice had nothing to do with the good or evil in people's hearts. If they oppressed others, they deserved to die, no matter how dark or how noble their intentions.
He was so deep in thought that he didn't notice the girl until he ran into her. He fell to the ground silently, not really minding the pain; what irked him, however, was the glare the girl gave him afterwards. Her aura had flashed red, meaning that she was mad; it was completely and utterly pointless to get mad at somebody for something like this, especially if they were equally at fault. He decided to say as much. "Don't look at me like that; we're equally at fault," he muttered softly, stealing a glance at her Exceed as he did so. She must be something special; at the moment, however, he didn't really care. He stood up and brushed himself off, offering the girl his hand as a formality. He planned to simply walk off after she got up; after all, he had better things to be doing.

Alexei watched Rin get up and dust herself off sheepishly, slightly annoyed. What was with that sudden personality change? She had gone from irritated and angry to shy and embarrassed in one fell swoop. It wasn't an act, either; Alexei's new Soul Gaze was showing that the emotions were genuine. He would never really understand people like that. He continued to watch as the girl and her Exceed, Hibiki and Rin apparently, argued back and forth. When Hibiki offered to treat the girl to food, he initially thought of the idea in general with disdain; a rumble from his stomach, however, made him realize how hungry he was. His recent trials had certainly pushed his body to the limit; some food sounded nice.
With a start, he realized that the girl had formally introduced herself, and was holding out her hand for a handshake. Alexei neglected the hand, instead giving her a nod in recognition. "My name is Alexei," he replied softly. "Your cat suggested food; do you know a good place around here to eat?"

Alexei stood there silently as Rin passed him. He wasn't particularly mad at her, although he was somewhat confused by her sudden mood changes. Wasn't it natural to substitute a handshake for a nod? He didn't get other people. Either way, there were a lot of questions that Alexei still had; she was definitely something special. Not just the Exceed, but there was something in Alexei's Soul Gaze as well that tipped him off; her Light God scale was completely messed up, leading Alexei to believe that there was more to her than even she knew. He turned and began to follow Rin from a distance, using his Soul Gaze to keep an eye on her through the crowds.

Alexei watched with a grin as Rin turned into a white lightning bolt and disappeared. A girl that could not only turn into lightning, but white lightning? Alexei had never heard of it, which made him even more curious. The girl hadn't gone far, only around a corner; she had probably been trying to escape Alexei's vision, but his Soul Gaze was turning out to be more and more useful. She was making her way to the train station; Alexei knew just how to catch up with her. 
"Blacklight Barrage," he muttered as his legs began to glow with a soft black light. He ran towards the train station at an incredible speed, taking a roundabout route so as not to run into Rin on the way. He made it to the train station at the same time as her, despite having taken a longer route and her having a head start; panting slightly, he guessed that he had run about three times as fast as normal. Light God Magic was certainly useful. He watched as Rin bought a ticket for Oak Town before walking up and buying one himself; standing on the other side of the station so as not to tip her off, he boarded the other side of the train.
