Today would mark an important day in history. On this day unlike any other 6 of the most powerful mages of Fiore would unite against an unknown threat. The adventure began with the summoning of the Wizard Saints Simon the Phoenix, Zenshin Guild Master of Sabertooth, and Zack Rose of Blue Pegasus. They were called by the famous Captain Jack Count Sparrow on a special request. There they were informed of a secret country wide magic seal that kept back an unfathomable forgotten evil and that it had been broken. They had one day to reactivate it before the evil broke forth. This would either be a day forever remembered by all humankind or the day humankind became nothing but a bad memory. So naturally Simon was scared shitless.

The three wizard saints were being transported to from Era to Shadow Island by a small highspeed MC air ship. Now naturally this had happened like two days after Simon was declared a Wizard Saint so he was scared beyond all reason. He was trying not to show it as he stood on the open deck of the air ship and 9 out of 10 days he would have managed just fine. But this was nuts. Day two on the job and being sent to fight ancient evil, you don't just do that to a kid. In his panic as they were sped off to parts unknown he had contacted Heero over a long range communications lacrima to meet them at shadow island. If he was going to fight impossible odds he wanted Heero in his corner.

He didn't doubt Zenshin and Zack or anything buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut they were kinda complete strangers. The phoenix mage hadn't said a word to any of them because he was in all honesty nervous. Little did he know on top of Heero and the Wizard Saints two more mages would get dragged into this adventure, but he had no idea how or why. They just would. So there you have it the 3 mages were now speeding over the ocean rapidly approaching shadow island where the strings of fate would begin one of the greatest stories of all time.

OOC: Alright guys here we go. Post in any order you want for the first round, the posting order will be decided based on the order of posting in the first round. So hurry and post already. Being inactive will get you kicked from this job, it is super duper long and if we want to finish in this lifetime we gotta be active.

“This is amazing! I can’t believe I haven’t tried anything like this before! Ahahahaha!” A blue haired woman, with a white patch in the front, called out as she flew through the air. Her laughter echoed as she spun around, using her white wings to get around through the air. Beside her a light based being flew along, staying next to the woman at all points. The blue haired woman continued to fly around like a giddy kid before the light being sighed and looked at the kiddy woman.

“Are you sure about this Princess Sephiria? Should you have honestly accepted the job, even after Ayeseru had denied attempting it?” The being asked, worried for the safety of her charge. Sephiria giggled and looked at the being, obviously not worried about what it had just said even though most people would be since Ayeseru was not only a H-rank mage, but a wizard saint as well. For a former rising star to attempt it, even at S-rank and with help, seemed crazier.

“Don’t worry about me Akari. I heard a few wizard saints are on the job, not to mention Kyll is coming along.” Why was the poison dragon slayer and her companion on this job, only days after her return from Midi? It was quite easy to note really, as the three wizard saints weren’t the only ones to be asked to take on the job. A fourth member, Ayeseru Suzumoto, was asked to take upon the job as well. But he had refused, leaving a hole in the group that was going. The magic council had taken it upon themselves to send a request to Eclipse Soul, but not for the guild master. No, instead the request had come for Sephiria, asking her if she would join the job. Gleefully, she had accepted, and even invited Kyll along with her for backup in case the others weren’t as useful as she hoped. Thus the poison dragon slayer was now flying along, trying to get to her destination as Kyll had spoken about meeting her there.

Was Sephiria ready for this type of important, history changing job? Maybe. Maybe not. Only time could tell what would become of her, so she would just go with the flow and do what was needed of her at the time. Thus she continued to fly, while looking around in the air with a large smile on her face. Turning her head to the left, she gasped as she saw something over there.

“Look Akari! A council airship!” Sephiria exclaimed with joy as her companion looked over and indeed saw the council airship, currently holding the three wizard saints going on this job, flying over towards the island just like they were. Sephiria turned her head towards her companion and smiled. “We should meet up with that airship! It probably has the wizards saints for the job on it.” When Akari nodded, Sephiria and the being of light adjusted direction so that they would follow the airship and meet with them wherever they landed.

Hopefully these were people she could at least get along with.

Zack had accepted the mission willingly though secretly he was both annoyed and happy that the magic council kept relying on him for such tasks. Aboard the ship he stood on the very tip. It was barely a footspan in width and there was nothing preventing him falling yet he stood there as if it was nothing. He would not fall and even if he did no harm would come to him for the air was his domain. He had greeted the two other wizards saints warmly, particularly Zenshin whom he was familiar with from past missions. Yet soon he had gone to find solitutude here watching the land fly past and feeling the wind against his features. Darkness was coming. A storm was brewing.

"I need to be stronger, swifter, more skilled." he mused to himself as he stood there. He was on this mission to save the world because whether he liked it or not he was a hero. Yet to him this was not just a mission. It was a stepping stone to more personal tasks. HE sighed deeply as he stood there. The ship was fast, that was true, but he was faster still. In terms of speed there were few who could match him. He was the wizard saint Zack Rose, the speed demon of blue pegasus. Though whether that would remain true was not yet clear to him. Would he remain in blue pegasus or would he join the ranks of the sabertooth under zenshin. Or would he go his own way and find a third path.

He sensed the presence of two others and turned to see people he was not familiar with. He did not recall seeing them before nor did he recall being told that more people were to come on this mission. Then again his memory was generally not the best when it came to people. If you didn't do something extraordinary he'd probably forget you once you were out of sight unless something he was doing related to you. Even then he might forget. It seemed though that they were following the airship and he decided to greet them. He turned and then seemed to fall from the ship. It seemed he would fall for a while, but he stopped and flew up at quite high speed to join the two women.

"Hello there. You coming along for this mission to save the world too?" he asked with a grin. "The name's Zack Rose...I don't believe i've met either of you or if i Have....sorry but i've forgotten you." he shrugged. "Anyway...why don't you come onto the ship. It might be a bit slow, but no sense wasting your energy." He turned round and seemed to lay on the air in a comfy position. There seemed to be almost nothing holding him there and yet he kept moving along with them. A sharp eye might notice ethereal wings composed of air, but they were just for show. The sky was his domain and he could move as freely, if not more so, up here then he could on the ground. "Unless of course you're like me and prefer to fly yourself...more freedom that way."

Post by King Zenshin 24th July 2014, 10:20 am

Zenshin stood on the deck of the high-speed ship dispatched by the Magic Council to send them on their merry way towards the first of the seven islands they had to visit and conquer. What a mess. First Heero gets kicked out of the Wizard Saints for whatever reason and then some nervous, frightened kid replaces him? What is Sparrow thinking? he thought as he overlooked the vast ocean that separated them from the Shadow Island. Zenshin wasn't worried though, not like the new guy who hadn't even mustered the courage to talk to him or Zack. If he freezes up in combat and gets himself killed, that's really going to be no one's fault but Sparrow's at this point. Then again, I guess he must be strong enough to be considered a Wizard Saint for some reason. When half your team is comprised of the most powerful mages that the nation has to offer, as well as one of the former ones, I don't even think even an ancient evil will be strong enough to stop this much power he thought again before turning his back to the view and resting on the railing with his arms crossed.

Kyll, Heero, Simon, Sephiria, and of course Zack. All of the mages that will be my partners for the long journey ahead. Two of which I don't know... that worries me a bit. All I know is that they're powerful enough to have even been accepted for this job in the first place. What I do know is that Zack is an extremely capable fighter, Kyll's okay..., Heero is also very strong. The wild cards are still those two whose abilities I haven't gauged yet. Of course, there's me who I consider the strongest of the group due to my... particular abilities to bend reality like a rubber stick. Or that could just be a bit of cockiness on my part, but at least I can back that up Zenshin thought again with a grin as he stared at the other members of his party currently on the deck. The guildmaster waved at Kyll who was flying beside the aircraft on her broom and Zack, who was doing the same thing.

Even if we do fail, it's not like anyone will know. Everyone will be wiped off the face of the map by that time he thought as he began to walk towards the newly inducted Wizard Saint, Simon. Zen was present when Chairman Sparrow presented the phoenix mage with the formal title and he didnt seem any more impressive now than he did before. Zen had no qualms with weak mages, in fact, he preferred to see them learn and grow, but this was not the kind of job to be sending a rookie on. I sure hope Sparrow knew what he was doing sending the newest Saint on a job to save the nation...

As the airship would approach Shadow Island, a view of the Island would be shown. It was quite tropical, but it seemed to have a perpetual darkness about it. Even in the daytime it seemed to be...covered in fog, as it seemed no light could reach the island for some reason. It was a thick, jungle, who knew what awaited the wizards there.

In wake of Tartarus and Savage Skulls defeats, it seemed that a new threat had arisen to destroy Fiore. An ancient one.

Ahead of the airship; a gigantic yellow thunderbolt would slam down into the island causing a huge thunderstrike like noise in the air that would cause your average child to jump. It lasted only a moment, as the camera would show blue hair, then golden eyes and a blue wife beater.

An arm was shown with the tattoo wrapping around it in the language of the Fairies--this tattoo read "Glitter".

A toothy slayer smirk passed Heero's lips as he looked up at an approaching airship; seemingly followed by a familiar scent. From this distance it looked like a ball of light was following the ship. As a blank thought bubble popped above his head, he shrugged. He had left Garfield with Quinn back at the Guild, hoping he would keep himself out of trouble.

A sweatdrop passed over his head as truly, he just wanted to keep the Exceed safe; but he wouldn't be surprised if he showed up, deciding to track 'Heero and Simon down'. Shaking his head, he looked up at the airship as it got closer.

A shot from behind Heero looking up at the airship breaching the dark fogs of Shadow Island was in one word, epic.

His hair blew in the wind once as he shielded his eyes, with 'eyes like a Dragon' he could see up ahead, as Zenshin stood on the deck, a beacon of skill and strength, clothes and silver hair flapping in the wind. Heero smiled as he also knew that Simon was onboard. A sideways shot of Heero was shown as he got somewhat serious.

'Simon's a Wizard Saint now.......amazing. He remembered years ago, Simon was even smaller than he was now. Heero saw himself with short blue hair, and his aviator jacket on--teasing him, as Simon shouted one day he'd be strong enough to whip Heero'

The flashback ended as Heero closed his eyes, looking downward.

"That day may be closer than you think, Simon." when they met, Heero was barely over 17, he was now 21. He'd watched Simon grow, and although everyone probably doubted him Heero would never ever doubt him. Ever. He was made a Wizard Saint by Count Sparrow due to pressure from the people.

After saving Fiore multiple times, and destroying nearly half of it in the process--the people still loved him and in the end, Sparrow folded making him a Saint. In the wake of Acnologia's return however, Count Sparrow had become MUCH more secluded, strict, and secretive. Heero knew that his title as a Saint was just a sham---and never cared for it in the first place.

He was a champion of the people, not the Council.

An intense 'growling' noise, caused him to begin to pat his stomach with a huge toothy smile. The most famous wizard in Fiore had forgotten to pack lunch.

"I wonder if there's anything to hunt on this island..." he turned around and faced a thick, spooky, foggy jungle as a huge sweatdrop appeared over his head, as one could see the airship off in the distance behind him. "D-damnit...." he then recalled he'd stuffed some gum in his pocket, so he pulled some out and began to chew.

Heero stood on the beachs of Shadow Island blowing a huge, pink bubble. A wizard hard at work.

Simon really shouldn't have been surprised but he was. Here he was under the assumption that because the magic council had given them their absolute fastest vehicle and that because they were taking the most direct possible route that they would be the first to arrive. No rather Heero would be way ahead waiting on them despite be contacted on incredibly short notice, and of course there was the food poisoning witch who showed up(fittingly riding a broom) flying circles around the air ship. At the very least they seemed to have the lead on the person flying a distance behind them. Who he wasn't even sure was on their side or who they were or why they were there or when they got there. Many questions no answers, no attempt from Simon to get those answers. So instead he just shrugged it off and decided to try and talk to some of his "Team" members. If he was going to have to save the world them he might as well try to get to know them.

Zack seemed occupied talking to the food poisoning witch. The other flying person was still too far behind. Heero was still too far ahead and there was no way Simon was going to talk to someone who would poison food with hot sauce that vile. So it seemed the honor of conversation would fall to the great honorable Zenshin guy. Assuming he was great and honorable. Simon didn't really know.

He walked up behind Zenshin at the front pointy thing of the boat, whatever that is called, and looked up at him. "So your Zenshin right? The Sabertooth Guild Master guy? Can you tell me anything about yourself I can't learn from a tabloid newspaper?" Simon scratched the back of his head. He really had no idea what on earth to expect from this guy. He had heard of him and what not but he met him in person. If the stories were even half true this guy was play boy with daddy issues involved in some shady lacrima deals. But seeing him in person Simon began to question the reliability of "Teen Mage Magazine," as a source for credible news. But it was the cheapest non-newspaper and newspapers were too expensive to get, unless they were about himself. Then it was worth it. So yeah, clueless.

Sephiria saw her best friend and sister figure Kyll come towards her on a broom, and waved to her as she approached. “Hey Kyll! No worries, I haven’t gotten too far ahead as you can see. But how’d you get Yukine’s broom? He never lends that to anyone for anything.” She called out to her friend, who had begun to look like a witch with the way she was flying the broom perfectly. “And if Master Zeno couldn’t complete it, well then I guess we’ll just complete it then! We have a bigger group, so everything should be fine right?” Sephiria continued to fly with a smile on her face until she felt another magical power next to her. The 3rd generation Poison dragon slayer looked and noticed a male flying next to the two. Briefly wondering how he could fly with seemingly no problem, Sephiria gave him a large friendly and slightly goofy smile while waving towards him.

“Hello Mister Zack! I don’t think I’ve ever met you before!” Sephiria cheerfully replied, taking a bit of her master’s bubbly personality and inserting it into her own. “My name is Sinon Noir, and this is Kyll Vie.” The blue haired girl pointed to her friend as the trio continued to fly, and seemingly the two others not noticing her companion flying along behind them. Sephiria didn’t make note of this though, and just continued to fly along while answering the questions that the man had for them. “We’re here because the Magic Council sent us along with you in the stead of someone else…...really gotta wonder why he didn’t come though.” Sephiria placed her hand on her chin in a thinking motion briefly, before shaking her head and continuing to answer the man’s final question. “And about flying on the ship…….thanks but no thanks. Id rather not get sick again, if you understand what I’m getting at.” Sephiria made a slight mention towards the idea of how dragon slayers usually had really bad motion sickness. It was no different from her, thus why she was currently flying on her own instead of flying with Kyll.

Turning upside down, so that her wings were still flapping as she flew by so she didn’t fall, Sephiria decided to ask the man her own question. “So Zack, have you ever done anything like this before? Saving the world I mean.” The poison dragon slayer wondered what the male had done to earn his wizard saint position. Obviously it had to be something special, otherwise he wouldn’t even have been considered. Then again, she didn’t know what the idiots at the Magic Council considered to be good credentials for a Saint, so she shouldn’t really bother. Still, she was indeed curious.

And she needed to sate her curiosity quickly.

Zack flew there for a few moments considering the question. He hadn't really saved the world before, but he had taken part in a lot of major missions and events. "I've not saved the world, but I helped bring in...errr....Yugi I think his name was? He was the cousin or something of the magic council chairman" he said pausing briefly to think on the name. Even Yugi, who had almost killed him, hadn't stayed in his mind that much. "Though this will be my third 100 year mission I think. So...whilst I haven't saved the world i've done some pretty big things. Closest to saving the world was probably slaying the dragons that attacked the royal castle though."

It seemed that Kyll remembered him even if he didn't remember her. He floated a bit and then spun round so he was floating upside down as if to stimulate some blood flow to his brain. He considered the point for a few seconds. "Ah...yeah I remember you now I think. Sorry my mind isn't good for names and people...not sure why." he said and then considered it a bit further. "I suppose that was before I went to Malkariss and my body got rebuilt by the demon fairies." He considered the point really. It was quite an odd thing that his body had been so reconstructed. It was vastly different to his old form. He wasn't red haired and his body was older. The only real similarity was that he still had one eye covered by an eyepatch.

At her request he considered the point wondering how best to respond before moving round into a standing position and with one hand holding the broom still, showing some of his extreme slayer strength, and with the other helped her down. As he did so he breathed gently. "Try flying like me." he said with a smile. "Enjoy the wings of the Sky King." with that he expended a tiny amount of magic power forming angelic wings of air upon her back. Now she would be able to fly freely through the air much like himself. He could walk through the air as if he was on the ground and so could she now. He looked over at Sephira.

"So you suffer from the typical dragon slayer affliction? I met a guy...iron dragon slayer...he didn't suffer from it...maybe he can teach you how or something." In the distance he could see the shadow island. It had been a while since he had been there. Or had he been there? He honestly couldn't remember. "So you two ready to save the world?" he asked them with a big smile on his face. It took a lot to bring him down.

As Heero stood on the beach in his usual blue tank top, he looked about left down the beach, then right down the beach; nothing but the sound of the water. So peaceful he could just go right on ahead and---

"Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz---" fall asleep. A very large anime sleep bubble began to expand and shrink from Heero's nose as he stood there sleeping with his arms crossed. The sound of the beach, and soon only his snoring / breathing could be heard, so peaceful.

'Click, click, click' the sound of pincers clicked about, as the ticking of a crabs legs was heard. Approaching Heero sideways, a crap moved up his leg and onto his head. In what seemed like a cruel moment, the crab raised it's claw from the blue set of hair it was on; as a comical anime twinkle was shown at it's tip.

    'CRUNCH!'

Heero's eyes shot open as a pincer gripped his nose.

An outside shot of Shadow Island was shown as anime yelling lines could be seen around the entire island as Heero yelled a curse word in Japanese.

Back on the island, Heero was now running full speed up and down the beach; shooting random Lightning Dragon Slayer spells off into the skies in pain in an attempt to get the crab off of his face. Eventually, he got mad and turned on his Lightning Aura~ as the screen shook comically as yellow lightning flashed around him; the crab cooked into a fully cooked crab and fell down onto the sand in front of Heero; who turned off his Lightning Aura and booted the crab ten thousand feet into the skies away from him.

Heero panted, with a sweatdrop over his head, followed by an anger mark. Followed by his stomach growling. Wishing he hadn't booted the crab that had attacked him, Heero fell to his knees in disgrace and anger at wasting food. Just as he was about to let out an island sized scream for the second time in ten minutes, he felt several familiar Magic powers headed directly for Shadow Island.

'Simon, one of Eclipse Soul's slayers, one is muddled but it's powerful. I thought I felt Zenshin earlier but...I can't seem to feel his magic power anymore.'

Heero's face was contorted comically and somewhat focused as he stared out into the ocean.

'Kyll is definitely with them...she'll be sensing me right about now too.' Heero's magic power had been in close contact with a Wish Fairies for some time, along with his own signature this made him very easy for Kyll and Kyll alone to sense. 'Tsk.....'

Heero's eyebrow twitched at the thought of her, hoping she hadn't brought that one frying pan with her to hit him with again. His eyebrow finally stopped twitching when he in the far off distance could make out a speck of an airship approaching. He put a hand over his head like a visor and stared out into the ocean as his blue hair blew softly in the breeze along with his clothes on the sound of the waves.

After getting no reply from Zenshin after a minute Simon was growing a little irate. The guy was showing him no attention at all, he didn't even acknowledge he existed! It was like he was a statue or something! This was unreal, he was Simon the flippin phoenix! The current magic culture teen idol that young teens and some older ones obsessed over to no end! Fairy Tail's poster boy for sorcerore's weekly should not have to deal with inattentive pricks like this guy! In what could only be described as a diva tantrum Simon began wailing on Zenshin's back whining "Oi oi oi! Notice me already! I'm famous! Stop ignoring me!" Then the most curious thing happened. Zenshin deflated. Like a balloon or a bouncy castle(house). Simon stared at the balloon dummy as it fell off the edge of the air ship and fluttered away in the wind. He looked back at everyone else on the ship, his expression completely dumb founded "Did anyone else see that? Is that even possible? What kind of what even?"

Simon had seen some whacky stuff in his time but this took the cake. A life sized hyper realistic inflatable dummy capable of moving(probably by remote control) that imitates a magic presence. After a second he just burst out laughing "Oh god I love this guy. That was just perfect. I hope I get to actually meet him at some point." Recomposing himself Simon looked to see Shadow Island just ahead and on the beach he felt Heero's stupidly large magic power flailing about like a child at the beach with a crab pinched to his nose. Knowing Heero that was probably a more accurate analogy then it should have been. "Okay so whatever that gag Zenshin pulled was it means one thing. We are short a man. But that doesn't matter because I am here! So let's just head down to the island find the beacon thingy, fight any bad guys on the way and save the world. With that Simon jumped off the air ship and let gravity do the rest.

He flew in free fall all the way down to the beach where he landed just a few feet away from Heero. On impact sand exploded everywhere leaving a massive crater where Simon landed. He grunted a little when he hit. Even with incredible leg strength like his such a fall was a bit rough. But the phoenix was able to easily shake it off. After quickly surveying his surroundings he was left with one conclusion and a question "Seems I have landed in some kind of pit. I wonder what could have caused this?"

Sephiria continued to fly, with her eyes noticing the upcoming island. At the rate they were going, the entire group would arrive within minutes of each other. This made the poison dragon slayer smile a bit, knowing that the real adventure would begin very soon. Sephiria turned to Zack again with the same smile on her face. “Well, I would rather not try to learn anything about not being afflicted. Personally I feel flying on my own is always a better feeling than allowing something or someone else to do so for me.” Sephiria spoke while sheepishly rubbing the back of her neck, although it was true. Nothing felt better to her than flying on her own without any assistance, and being able to control where she went and how without worrying about if she would crash or be slowed down by some means outside of her control. The poison dragon slayer then shrugged her shoulders at the last question Zack asked, not really knowing the answer but giving one she thought fit anyways. “Well, I don’t know if I’m ready or not but I’ll have to do my best anyways! Failure is not an option here!” And indeed, it wasn’t. While her guild master might have had that luxury, Sephiria’s group were in a much bigger predicament. Failure meant that the entire world was doomed, and that they would be remembered as the ones that failed.

If anyone was around to remember.

Sephiria eventually felt a large magical source running around on the island, and smiled as she knew the time was fast approaching. Her heart began to race as she thought of all the stakes, and how this could prove that all of her training and hard work had been worth something. Thus, the blue haired female dive bombed towards the Island and the two magical presences she could feel. Letting the rush get to her, she almost mistimed slowing down her descent but managed to stop before smashing into the ground and turning herself into a flying torpedo. Sephiria landed with as much grace as possible, letting her wings fold upon themselves and recede into her back while getting a look at the two people already on the island. One was unfamiliar, although he was powerful, but the other made her do a quick double take. While she might have changed appearances a few times since their last encounter, he had certainly stayed the same. Although she was sure she still didn’t know his real name, she would walk over to him and speak to him using the name she remembered him by,

“Washington? Wow, I didn’t expect you to be here! Guess we’re going on the same job again huh?” Sephiria chuckled behind her hand, although she was a bit worried that the kid might have been out of his league.

Granted she was too probably, but that didn’t matter to her at least.

Zack considered helping as he watching Kyll plummet towards the sea. He was more than fast enough to do so, but instead he decided to see if she would work out exactly how to use the power he had bestowed. It wasn't the wings that provided flight, though it appeared so, it was the person. The wings were just for effect and distraction. They had saved his life on a few occasions. People aimed for the wings to bring him down, but did nothing. It was perfect really. He smiled slightly as she worked out how to use the wings and landed upon the island. He followed shortly after and heard her comment about the wings. He paused briefly rubbing a finger across his chin. "I'll...try to remember that for next time." he said with a nod. He would have forgotten this about ten minutes later, but even that was quite impressive for him. He wasn't exactly gifted in the memory department and it was such a minor detail. "Can't really do anything about it at the moment so...enjoy them whilst they last."

He gave a brief salute of sorts to those that had gathered. "Hey there. I guess introductions are in order. I'm Zack Rose of Blue Pegasus." he said and then added cheerfully "Everyone ready to save the world?" as if the prospect of failure hadn't even entered his mind. It had, but something told him that they would be successful and he nearly always trusted his instincts. He paused again and scanned the ship with his eyepatch. He could no longer see or sense Zenshin's magic power. Even if he'd been hiding it Zack was sure he'd see at least a small amount. SOmehow for some reason Zenshin had left. No, there was little residue. Had he somehow sent a decoy that moved and mimiced his magic? That was...quite impressive to say the least. He hadn't seemed the type to give false hope though. Perhaps he had his reasons. It was a shame as Zack had been looking forward to fighting alongside the man again. His god-like powers would of been useful.

"Seems Zenshin isn't coming...otherwise he wouldn't of left a decoy." Zack said with a shrug. "So we're one member down, but that just means more fun for us." He added and lifted his eyepatch revealing a green orb. From it floated three swords. These slowly rotated round him as he lowered the eyepatch. "You best introduce yourself too Devon." With that a green glowing ball came out of his pocket before rapidly expanding into the body of a 5ft6 tall fairy woman wearing silver armor and wielding a beautifully crafted spear.

    "I'm Devon." she said simply.

Heero leaped in surprise as Simon landed in a giant crater next to him; crab still on his face. A sweatdrop passed over his head, and the crabs head at what Simon said as more people began to arrive.

"Simon....I can't see anything...who's here." Heero continued to talk as he felt more wizards around him arriving, eventually the crab was peeled from his face as Heero blinked a few times. 'Kyll? It looks like everyone made it....there's that other Dragon Slayer from the Guildmasters meeting....' Heero's eyes turned away from Kyll and set on the woman, his eyebrows twisted, but he had a friendly expression on his face. 'I wonder if she's any good...' he wouldn't doubt her just yet, so with a shrug he turned towards another wizard who's name he'd heard before.

He listened carefully and watched with surprise, his arms crossed as Heero's magic senses went wild at whatever he let loose from under his eyepatch. After some blades which floated around, came another green light from his pocket which shifted into a woman and introduced herself.

Heero's giant baby blue Fairy Tail symbol, somewhat visible around his tank top let off a bright glow once, before returning to normal as he eyed this woman. He looked her up and down, and wondered why he felt his Guild's energy from her for a moment but shrugged.

"A pleasure my lady, no harm will come to you just stay behind me and everything'll turn out fine." he sparkled briefly with a wink, hands in his pockets, in reply to the clad Faerie woman, scratching his blue hair once as Kyll walked right up to him. He blushed a bit since she got so close, but raised an eyebrow defensively. As he looked away, hands still in his pockets.

"Hm......." after she'd said her piece, he gave her a toothy slayer smile as he stood over her a bit. "Tsk, woman sure are stubborn sometimes! About time....thanks for the crab earlier. I'll be sure to repay the favor if you get into any trouble princess!" his signature voice keyed in as he looked around the crowd after replying to Kyll.

"Names, Heero. I'm Fairy Tail's Lightning Dragon Slayer! If you don't know my name! I'll do my best to make you remember it!" he pointed a thumb to his chest, with a wide genuine white smile, fang showing. "I'm only half as good as Simon though!" he pointed a thumb to his guildmate and flicked his nose.

"Well, I'd love to stay and chat with you guys all day but...I'm going in." Heero nodded to Simon before he turned towards the Island Proper. A thick fog lay over a gigantic boggy forest ahead. It seemed to just be nighttime all the time here. But the stars were beautiful.

"Well, keep up! IF any of you fair maidens need a piggy back ride through the scary forest let me know hahaha." Heero called behind him as he began to walk into Shadow Island. Although on the outside his demeanor was loud and bright, on the inside he was a finely tuned clock, a Dragons ears, nose, and eyes reaching out through the endlessly dark fog of the forest to hear, smell, or see whatever might be waiting for them.

Simon looked up from his self made pit up at Sephiria with a goofy grin "Hey rookie! I'm surprised to see you here. I guess I won't just share the pleasure of saving the past with you but now the future as well." The phoenix fondly remembered his pointless long running joke of keeping his identity from the dragon slayer. As long as no one told her anything it should still hold true that she thought he was a magic council agent operating under the name "Washington." Simon had every intent to keep it that way. That is until a certain blue haired SOMEONE shouted his real name for the world to hear. Before he could say anything to cover for himself Heero flicked him in the face and ran off. That guy was a load of work sometimes. If he wasn't such a viable form of easily aimed firepower Simon would probably complain a fair bit about him.

His mind rushing to come up with a way to cover for Heero blowing his to-date-longest-running gag story. Being the best at what he did he came up with a clean enough sounding lie. He wiped off his jacket and approached Sephiria "Try not to mind Heero. He is a bit of a wild card. Dense wild card. Don't mind him, Simon was an old cover name I used on an operation working with Fairy Tail. I've tried telling him that, he doesn't seem to get it." Simon was just too smooth for his own good sometimes. "Washington" laughed as he watched Heero charge the island."Anyway it's great to be working with you again. I have heard you have grown a great deal since our last meeting, I eagerly await to see the result of your growth in action."

That said his attention was drawn to the glowing fairy lady. Simon was confused and curious at the appearance of the glowy person. "Hi. Who the hell are you?" As anyone with a brain could tell, Simon was rather poorly raised.

Sephiria smirked and nodded when ‘Washington’ mentioned that this was the second time they were teaming up for a big job. Last time it was only a few treasure hunters, but to the trio of young mages that might as well have been an army since they only barely made it out with their hides. Now it was slightly different, a larger group behind the two and the world was on the line instead, but that didn’t deter Sephiria’s excitement at working with her old friend again. When she was about to ask him how he had been however, the blue haired man called him ‘Simon’ before rushing off into the forest. ‘Simon? Is that his name? Nah, it can’t be, that guy must have gotten him mixed up with someone else or something.’ The poison dragon slayer shook her head and chuckled at the man, thinking that he might need to get glasses or something because he was dead wrong about who Washington was.

If only she knew the truth about who it was, then maybe she wouldn’t have been saying such things. Sephiria’s dense mind didn’t even think that she might have been getting played like a piano and ‘Washington’ was only using it for his own amusement.

Sephiria looked at what was left of the assembled group before smirking to herself and rubbing her chin a bit. ‘Alright, the team consists of Myself, Kyll, Washington and and two other high ranked mages. This should be a piece of cake.’ Ever the cocky optimist, Sephiria smirked at Washington when he mentioned her growth. “Definitely, I will show you exactly how strong I’ve gotten. Hope you can keep up with me, that is if you have been getting stronger as well.” Sephiria rubbed her nose and grinned like a fox, before turning to Kyll. “So Kyll, how do you think we should approach? Rush in guns blazing like madmen, or do you have some sort of plan?” The dragon slayer asked this question in response to Heero’s running off. It would have been wise to think of something as at least a way to keep them all focused, but there was something itching in Sephiria to get right down to the fighting and most likely just punch stuff in the face.

Sephiria looked over at Zack and his companion, sizing up what she believed he could do. While it wasn’t going to be easy, she figured that they could each hold their own against whatever it was that the group would face. Maybe even beat them all up? Nah, Sephiria wanted to get in on the fighting too, so she wouldn’t let anyone fight her battles for her. Maybe it was what made her so unique, but the dragon slayer would never stand idly by when she could say something about it.

    Not again at least.

"Trust your instincts." Was what Zack said as he overheard Sephira's question. There was a smile on his face as he had seen Heero walk off without talking. It seemed the man shared his thoughts for action. There was no sense waiting about here and discussing things. None of them knew each other's abilities. None of them knew exactly what they were up against. Planning would be impossible. They would have to fight first and learn how to deal with the situations in combat. That was the only way forward. He headed off after the pair rising up without effort and soon catching up to overheard Kyll's question.

"I think I can answer that one." he said with another smile. "1. Time is of the essence so they didn't have time for us to get to know eachother 2. There aren't enough strong mage's avaliable in any guild for a well established team to be used 3. We don't know exactly what we are up against so training to fight one way might not be right way...we can only learn through fighting them. " He shrugged nonchalantly. "That's my thoughts anyway. Could be wrong of course, but it doesn't matter to me. I tend to not be the planning kind anyway...I trust my instincts."

He didn't rush off ahead for once. That was his natural impulse in most situations, but in this case he decided not to follow that urge. The reason? His instincts told him that to do so would be suicide. They would need every person here to deal with whatever was up ahead. He focused and strained his senses looking for any sign of what they were here for.

Devon had flown quickly to join him and she too was using what senses she had to stretch out and detect anything. Unlike Zack and Kyll her wings were much more instinct like and were real wings to some extent. However, unlike a bug's wings hers were composed of a strange green light. She was a demon fairy of Malkariss. "Soon it will begin and we must fight with every ounce of our strength." Zack nodded in agreement. There would be no holding back in this regard. It was all out fighting or they would fail and the world would be lost. Zack took a depp breath. He had to prepare himself. He would not hesistate. He would destroy the threat with all his might. There was no choice in the matter.

Devon already had her spear out by her side ready to wield it at the least sign of trouble. She never hesitated in combat. She had a kill or be killed philosophy. Something Zack rarely shared. He liked to let people live so they could give him a rematch in the future. "Well hopefully I won't forget this job." He looked over at Kyll. "You best land soon. Those wings won't last much longer...sorry about that. Its a spell I rarely have to use so I've never really trained it to last longer."

Heero walked at the front of the group as Sephiria and Simon continued to talk behind him, Zack and Kyll floated on magic wings casted by either of the wizards. Heero kept his arms crossed and eyebrows somewhat furrowed as it seemed to be getting foggier and foggier.

Small glitter trails were visible to his left, as he realized Kyll was floating next to him. He flicked his eyes up at her once as she talked but he kept his eyes ahead.

Having saved Fiore many times over, he began to get a bit more serious as the Job was under way, as a Dragon Slayer he almost scary when it came to the amount of focus he brought to hunting or combat as opposed to his usual persona.

"Hm...well, I'm pretty sure Sparrow knew what he was doing sending us all here." Heero cut his eyes back at Simon as his gold eyes locked on him for a moment, he became intensely protective and worried. He'd watched Simon grow, as Simon had watched him grow from the age of 16 or 17. Years of older brother syndrome piled on as Heero continued to walk. Unlike most people, Heero stayed tuned to the news networks and food channels exclusively. "If I'm not mistaken, Sparrow is a master when it comes to assembling teams...or making plans in general." he wondered if Sparrow even had gotten wind that Heero had left the county and trained with another Dragon, Grandine in Midi. If so, he knew what he was doing. Heero could easily turn the weakest wizard into a force to be reckoned with. But Sparrow wasn't that much of a schemer. Was he?

"I have a feeling, that we were brought together for a reason." Heero continued to walk at the front as he noticed something.

All of the fog stopped moving as did Heero's feet, as if the wind had died. A quick sniff of the air, and his Lightning and Sky Dragon senses went wild. Something was out there, he could feel it interrupting the air flow.

All at once, a camera shot of six shadow like beings wielding curved blades with intensely glowing red eyes that left 'trails' when they moved burst forward towards the group. Two of them centered on Zack, Heero, and Kyll at the front.

The shadows broke apart and reformed a few times, as Heero's eyes were shown on camera moving left, right, and up. As the shadows seemed to wrap around trees, and move about as they approached. Lightning Dragon's Flashing Step~

Heero would twist into a bolt of yellow lightning and reform in slo-mo, delivering a haymaker directly to the face of one of the shadowy bladesman just as it reformed in front of Kyll slashing downward at her. Real time kicked back in, as Heero flashed a second time this time upward as he was shown uppercutting a shadowy figure out of Zack's path flashing with yellow Lightning.

A final time, real-time kicked back in as Heero came thundering down like a comet for a third electric punch, right in the back of the spine on top of a third shadowy bladesman who bent like a pretzel destroyed just as he'd twisted out of the shadows towards Simon and Sephiria.

Three loud bangs and streaks of lightning and their entire offensive was over as Shadow Island cracked with thunder three times'

Heero stood to his feet, as the yellow lightning flashed away from him as he rose from his kneeling position. The remaining three re-formed and stood across from the group in the shadows, their red eyes almost neon in appearance.

They merely stood still, maybe assessing the situation. If so these guys were a little bit more bright than Heero gave em credit for. Or perhaps they'd never encountered people they couldn't lethally kill instantly with their blazing fast shadow...magic? As Heero continued to look on, he noticed that these guys weren't human.....they seemed to be made of shadows.

"That all?!" Heero pointed at the three of them and began to laugh loudly in the middle of shadow island, eyes closed. He opened em and grinned a toothy slayer smirk. All at once, one of the three remaining Shrouded melted into the floor, and zipped towards Heero's leg. A hand reached out and grabbed him as the shadow zipped off into the forest...dragging a screaming Heero with it as comical anime lines appeared way off into fog as he screamed. The remaining two continued to stand completely still it appeared.

So it seemed Sephiria had bought Simon's lies. Again. But before Simon had a moment to celebrate he was approached by Kyll who revealed herself as the heinous witch who had indirectly caused Simon to eat ghost pepper sauce. Even though he had done so knowing what it was he still blamed her. As much as he wanted to do an acrobatic pirouette off the handle and go no-holds-barred beatdown revengance on her that was going to have to be a battle for another day. Assuming there was a day after this one. On that serious note Simon began listening to everyone's light strategy talk, Simon's plans normally consisted of nothing more then "CHARGE AND SHOOT YOUR BIGGEST THING TO SHOOT!" Which normally worked very well. Today would have to be different for he was the light firepower. Sadly with big names like Heero and Zack, Simon's flame wasn't going to be the one racking up the big damage.

But then as it turned out the plan everyone came to agree on was "let's wing it." So business as usual.

On this mission Simon was packing his favorite weapon of choice. The Demon Cannonball Tzar, a weapon of mass holy destruction. A gift from his demonic father Tzar was enchanted to be extra effective at destroying the forces of evil. Hence why Simon had chosen to bring it on a trip that toured Shadow Island and Galuna Island. At the moment the weapon was wrapped up in cloth and shoved in a backpack Simon was wearing. Said backpack included other mission essentials like crackers and cookies.

    It was also really heavy.

But it would prove useful almost immediately as the first of what would eventually be many enemies appeared. At first it just seemed like 3 enemies(which Heero dealt with easily) but as it turned out there had been another 3 in hiding (that or the original 3 reformed after being destroyed, Simon wasn't sure) and one snatched up Heero with a surprise attack. Just perfect. Suddenly frustrated at the lightning slayer Simon yelled "Oi Heero! That's not how you win a fight! You aren't supposed to let the bad guys catch you!" It seemed common knowledge but Simon felt it was worth reminding to Heero as it was important.

So with the pre-fight prep-talk given Simon went into action. He charged out in front of the group and reached into his backpack. Just as he got close to the shrouded ones Simon jumped high into the air sailing above them as he pulled out a large round bundle easily the size of Heero's ego. The dark entities spun to try and attack Simon but it was too late for that. As he about to land Simon pulled off the cloth with a single motion revealing Tzar to the world. It was kind like a slip-on peg leg with a wreaking ball at the bottom. Simon stuck his right foot in Tzar and landed on top of the large metal ball that made up the majority of Tzar's body. At this moment the shrouded ones were right behind him and were about to bring down their shadowy scimitars on his back when suddenly Simon bursted away with incredible speed.

While his running was awkward thanks to the fact that his weapon of choice made the length of his legs way uneven but Simon was still incredibly fast(being most used to running with the silver wreaking ball on). It took him hardly any time to catch up with the shadow creature that was hauling off Heero. The poor thing didn't really have a chance, Simon jumped above it and brought Tzar down on it's head hard. "Purification!" The divine weapon shone with holy light and obliterated the shrouded one on contact. Leaving just Simon and Heero alone an unhealthy distance away from their party. Not wanting to waste anymore magic power Simon took off Tzar and shoved it back in his back pack. The phoenix glanced down at Heero "Oi oi get up already. Or do I need to save you from gravity too?"

Sephiria was on alert, the group’s plan seemingly coming together as a consensus of do whatever. This felt good to the dragon-God she needed to stop thinking herself as a dragon slayer as she wasn’t that. The demon slayer sighed and scratched her head, not realizing that everything would go to hell and a handbasket real soon. She turned to speak to Simon, ready to discuss more about how they had been since last meeting, but she was rudely interrupted by Heero defeating three enemies which had tried to come out and attack the group while their guard was down. He was taken away by another, but Simon quickly followed after. Sephiria, however, stomped her foot down in a fit as she watched them fly off. “Oi thats not fair now! Leave some of them for the rest of us.” She spoke in a whiny tone, seemingly ignoring the two that had stayed behind while Heero was being dragged away. One of the two shrouded appeared behind her, ready to cut her in the back and possibly catch her off guard. A quick elbow to its face from the annoyed poison slayer cut that off. “Hey now, I was busy having a fit! Go bother Kyll or Zack.” She said as she spun around in one swift motion and kicked it away.

The demon slayer was about to go back to slowly brooding, but she realized something she had grossly forgot. “I just kicked away the enemy I was complaining about not fighting didn’t I?” Sephiria asked out to no one in particular. Slapping herself in the face for being such an idiot, the celestial jumped up to her feet and immediately ran in the direction she had kicked the shrouded enemy. Running as fast as possible, she didn’t have the time to avoid the cut as one of the shrouded enemies’ decided to slice her in the stomach with a scimitar. It hurt, but it only served to piss off the demon slayer. “Alright. Thats it!” Sephiria flipped herself over, as to stop herself, and then avoided a second slash from the shroud as she swung back at it. The hit missed, and she growled at her own inability to fight properly. “Stand still!” She yelled while swinging a bit more wildly at the shroud, missing constantly as she was sliced twice more before growling.

“Fine! I’m gonna enjoy beating the crap out of you!” Sephiria headbutted the shroud, making it stumble as she relaxed her arms towards her sides. She then flicked her hands forward, calling out the name of a spell she had gotten adjusted to using. “Venom Demon’s Shotgun!” Out of her fingertips came ten bullets of poison, which struck the shroud head on and disintegrated it almost immediately. Sephiria smirked, rubbing her nose after defeating such an enemy.

“Yeah. Score another one for me!”
