The fire mage gave a dramatic frown at the two girls. “Now that’s not fair! You’ve got that sparkly dome, and you… well, you’re all wet!” he said before smirking at Aayla. “Or is that just cus of my hot personality?” Kiersa had to resist the urge to facepalm, since if she moved she’d have to cast the shielding spell all over again.

The fire mage simply cackles as Aayla’s blows strike into him. He slides back a little, feeling his wounds with a gleeful grin on his face. “Oh yes yes yes! Now the game is really fun! If you’re a water dragon slayer, does that make me the ferocious dragon?” he asked with a chuckle before his eyes turned to the nun. “And does that make her your faithful squire or companion in this little daring tale of adventure?” he asked, licking his lip before sending out a flurry of fire balls towards Aayla, following up by sprinting towards her, his feet on fire propelling him forwards as he tries to claw at the young wizard.

“Aayla!” cried out Kiersa, dropping her shield for a moment to cast a new spell. Stigmata of the Seraphim! she intoned, hurling balls of holy light towards her comrade’s arms, her own wrists beginning to bleed as a result. “Oh don’t think I forgot about you nun girl! By the way, you really a nun, or just cosplaying as one?” asked the mage, catching Kiersa of her guard as he flicked a fireball in the general direction of the civilians or town.

At this point in the fight, Aayla was already panting heavily from having used to much magic energy. She had launched quite a few spells at this guy, but he just seemed to keep coming. She could barely feel the brunt of his attacks, most of them passing rght through her as he tried to either physically hit her or launch fire however... but he seemed to have a lot more magic power than she currently had... She was going to need a source of water, and she was going to need it fast.

When the crazy fire wizard began to speak again, Aayla's concentration on the fight at hand temporarily broke as her face turned several shades of red. What the... was he... did he just... He didn't.... oh he did...

By the time all of these thoughts crossed her mind, the wizard was already upon her, rushing her with everything he had, launching a barage of fireballs and aiming to strike at her again. She wouldn't have had time to react if it wasn't for Kiersa activating her stigma, creating shields on her wrists which she brought forward to block his physical blows while the fires fizzled away against her body.

Her eyes flickered as a spark of fire caught her attention, soaring right by the two wizards curently locked in battle. This fireball was more oval, shaped like a bullet more than a ball. Her eyes widened as she watched the bolt strike into a young childs back. The flames instantly caught his clothes on fire as it quickly started to bun his insides, causing the small boy to scream in agony as he dropped to the floor, trying to turn the flame out before he eventually just stopped moving altogether. A woman held the boy in her arms, sobbing and screaming uncontrollably.

Aayla's eyes widened in horror at the situation. A child... he had just... he had just killed an innoncent child in cold blood... he didn't care about the lives he had just ruined, he didn't care about the suffering he had just caused. Tears were welling up in the young dragon slayers eyes as she looked back to her enemy, first with shock in her face, but soon that shocked look turned into anger, and soon that look of anger turned into rage.

She wouldn't let this stand. She wouldn't let this stand! She cried out angrily as she struck the fire mage with the shield granted to her by Kiersa, shattering it as it collided with another spell from the mad wizard. Aayla leaped back away fom her enemy a few times, tears still falling down her face as she panted heavily, concentrating everything she had into this one final strike... it was a combination attack... but she was sure she had just enough magical power to pull it off...

She brought her hands to both sides of her body, large magic circles appearing there before water began to form.

    "WATER DRAGON... TYPHOON!"
She yelled out, all of her anger, her rage and sadness were poured into this attack. HEr right arm came forward first, and her left soon following. Two massive waves were created from all the residual water on the battle field. These two waves came crashing together into each side of the fire mage. If sucessful, she would then begin to control the temperature of the water, bringing it to a quick boil. Of course the fire mage wouldn't feel the heat right away, but using his own heat to his disadvantage, she began to attempt boiling the fire wizard alive while he was stuck in her typhoon.

Kiersa watched as the child was slain before her eyes, eyes wide in horror at the sheer callousness of it all. The fact that it was done with fire as well… it brought back into sheer force the memories of all the corpses in the convent ruins and village… “Aww, did I make you little girls cry? Welcome to life and death kiddies! Can’t take down the king without knocking out a few pawns along the way aha ha ha ha ha ha!” cackled the mage before Aayla unleashed her devastating assault.

The nun winced as the spell she’d cast on the Dragon Slayer shattered, the blood leaving her wrists slowly stopping as a result of the spell’s end. She could only watch on as the young Slayer let loose a literal typhoon on the enemy mage. The Fire Mage on the other hand cried out in pain at the initial slamming of waters before chuckling. “That all you got girly? Some water ain’t gonna stop me! I’m going to burn this whole town down!” he cackled as he began to heat up the water, trying to flash-steam it, blinking as the desired effect wasn’t happening. “What… what the hell?! Fire beats water! Everyone knows that!” he roared as he tried to ramp up his flames, the water around him bubbling and boiling.

His flesh began to blister and turn red under the severe heat he was putting out himself, causing him to put out more fire, in turn speeding up the boiling process, and so a vicious spiral of torment began for the mage. A burst of fire escaped the confines of the water as the mage lashed out, Kiersa moving to try and intercept it.

She held the fire mage in place for as long as she could, her arms trembling under all the exhersion of keeping both spells active. The water continued to boil until the man's flesh itself began to bubble, even his eyes seemed to be affected by the heat, sewlling up and shutting. She wanted to kill him, she wanted to maintain th spell long enough to kill him, but the longer she kept the spell in place, the darker the young Dragon Slayers vision got.  She saw fire manage to burst through her typhoon, hiting at nothing but empty buildings and carts. Thank goodness the villagers had gotten safely away...

She wobbled in place before her spell inevidably broke and Aayla fell to her knees, the tears still streaming down her face as she found herself landing face first onto the wet ground.

The water typhoon seemed to explode, causing it to rain down on the village, turning out any nearby fires with it's water as it soaked the terrain around them, making it look as if it had rained all day.

Aayla on the other hand, was worse for wear. She could barely move as she lay against the ground, her magic power nearly at zero, there was really only enough to keep her conscious... if that fire wizard didn't fall now... if she didn't find a source of water to replenish her magic...

Well it might be the end...

The nun witnessed as the spell exploded, the fire mage seemingly gone with it. “Is that… oh no! Aayla!” she exclaimed as she ran over to the fallen girl. She knelt down beside her friend and did a quick check over of her body for any obvious injuries before letting out a slow sigh of relief. “Just… just exhaustion… It’s alright Aayla…” said Kiersa softly as she tried to move the girl into a more comfortable position. “Looks like he’s gone… you did it.” Said the nun with a smile before an explosion went off behind them and she sharply turned her head around to see what the cause was.

Her eyes widened in horror at the sight of the Fire Mage standing there, his flesh completely boiled and blistered all over, his head a completely bald lumpen mess. “That wasn’t very nice you know you little witch… trying to make me out like a lobster like that!” he cried out, a whip of fire lashing out at the ground around them. The nun quickly looked down at Aayla before she recalled something from that tome she read. “Zinnith, please, look after Aayla. I’ll… I’ll try to… to hold him…” she said, opening her robes to remove the six full canteens she had been carrying underneath. When they’d taken the job, the nun had thought they were going to be crossing the desert on foot and so had come prepared for that journey, feeling a little silly when the wagon had been there instead.

She placed the canteens down next to Aayla and the Sea Serpent, opening the lids before standing up. “I won’t… I won’t let you hurt anyone else!” called out Kiersa as she stood there. The Fire Mage just smirked and laughed making the nun wince. “What are you going to do eh? Throw more shiny lights at me? Face it… you got nothing!” he said as he flung a barrage of fire towards her. Stigmata of the Arc!” she yelled in reply, forming once more the spread out barrier of holy magic, crying out as the blasts impacted against the shield. Some of the fire had gotten through however, and her robes were slowly being eaten away by stray flames. “Heh, guess you ain’t a nun after all.” crowed the Fire Mage as he sent forth a plume of fire. “You’re a witch in need of a good burning!” Kiersa cried out as the fires struck the shield, her burning robes afflicting her flesh as well whilst the cost of the spell slowly bled out from her hands and feet.

    Spoiler:

    "... dang it..."
The dragon slayer cursed under her breath, banging her fist against the watery ground. There was nothing else she could do... all the water around her was her own... she couldn't eat it... she couldn't regenerate her magic power... Tears continued to fall down her cheeks as her eyes moved to watch the battle now happening with Kiersa and the fire wizard. It was a very one sided battle now, it didn't seem like Kiersa could attack him at all, while the man still threw his fire spells around like he had energy to spare.

That's when it hit her... Kiersa had put down canteens next to her... the cantens she had brought for their trip through the desert... it wouldn't be enough to really replenish her magic power to full, but it would give her enough to try and help out Kiersa. She slowly moved her hand to reach for one of the cantines when suddenly, Aayla spotted Zinnath gathering them all up together, tightly twisting her body around the canteens and squeezing them until the water started t spray up. The snake seemed to take a deep breath of her own as a small magic circle formed and a strong jet of water shot out of the serpents mouth, picking up the water that was escaping the canteen and also shooting that up into the air. (Zinnath's Hydro Pump)

Aayla smirked as she opened her mouth, soon sucking in the water that her partners had created for her. The jet seemed to curve and land straight into Aayla's mouth as the Dragon Slayer began to eat her own element.

When one of the fire wizards fireballs attempted to hit another villager, Aayla sat up straight, her eyes hidden behind her bangs and shadowing her face as she pushed herself to her feet.

"I won't let you hurt anyone else... You hurt these villagers... you hurt my friend... you'll never hurt anyone else ever again!"
The water dragon slayer made her way next to her companion, placing her hand on the young girls shoulder.

    "Water DRagon's Claw!"
She stepped forward and soon darting from her spot quickly, water beginning to form around her hands and feet as she aimed a punch at the man's already damaged face, then proceeded with a barrage of watery punches and kicks.

Kiersa almost dropped to her knees in the moment that Aayla touched her shoulder, her robes in tatters from the onslaught of fire revealing patches of flesh underneath where they’d eaten through the linen garments she wore under the robes. She dropped the shield and pressed her arms across her chest to stem the bleeding, letting herself fall slowly to the ground as the Slayer continued the fight.

The Fire Mage on the other hand, whilst he was still grinning, was doing so with a hard glint in his furious eyes. “Why won’t you wannabe wizards just die already?!” he yelled as he tried to stem the flurry of blows coming at him without much success. He snarled at the Water Dragon Slayer before his eyes widened and he began to laugh. “Now I see! I was right all along! You’re no wizards! You’re demons! The same as the rest of these changeling freaks!” Kiersa blinked at his words before she found herself yelling. “We’re not demons!” The Fire Mage sneered as he volleyed another fireball in her direction. “Silence witch! I’ll deal with your bloody water familiar first! Then I’ll see you burn in the righteous fires!” he cackled before trying to find some way of breaking through the watery defence that was Aayla’s Water Slayer magic.

Kiersa sat there mutely staring at the duel, her own mind thinking back to Uru and her own training. Is… is that what I am to become? So bent… on destroying the darkness and demons… that I see them everywhere? Her hand went to try and feel the scar in her back, unable to reach it. ...Could that be true? When he... am I...

"Shut your mouth... just shut your mouth!"
Aayla's eyes narrowed at his comments, it seemed that her irises themselves became draconic like slits as she grit her teeth, slamming her small fist once more into his face. She couldn't stand to hear him talk anymore, she couldn't stand to look at this man anymore! She grabbed onto the front of his robes, the fire wizard only smirking widly as he launched another series of fireballs. The fire launched into seeming nothingness as most of the local villagers had fled the fight. However, it seemed one despaired villagers had stayed, gathering what little of his cabbages had survived.

    "No! Run!"
She called out to the man who was frantically picking up his cabbages. Aayla's warnings did no good as the freball connected with the back of his head, plunging him into the dirt where he stayed, his cabbages in his arms...

    "You jerk!"
She yelled at the fire wizard, having lost her grip on his shirt as she turned to try and warn the villager to  no avail. This time however, she wouldn't let him get away. He was done for. She brought her hands before her mouth as she let an angry roar escape her lips.

    "Water dragon's roar!"
She cried out again, giving the injured man next to no chance to get away from the close ranged roar attack. The water funneled forward, barelling itself into the man's chest and even shredding at the clothing that it had hit.

The Fire Mage blinked at the sudden burst in ferocity from the young girl, struggling now to even hold his own under her aquatic onslaught. “Never liked cabbages much hehehe!” he said, trying to make the girl so angry that she’d make a mistake… his eyes widening as she prepared her attack. “Oh no you don’t!” he cried out, trying to create enough fire in time to turn the water to steam, but Aayla’s attack was faster, sending him slamming into a stone wall and causing him to collapse into unconsciousness.

Kiersa looked on at the fight’s end, her mind still trying to piece together how this man came to be like this… if a demon had destroyed his own life… and if she would ever turn into a monster like him... Or if she was one already. Her hand once more tried to touch the scar on her back in vain for a moment before she let it drop. “Focus…” she muttered to herself before the nun looked around to assess the damage from where she was kneeling. Most of it was superficial, although there was some areas of debris that the town would need to genuinely repair. The fires were all gone thanks to the earlier pseudo storm brought about by Aayla’s Typhoon and the ground was damp so there was little chance of a fire breaking out any time soon.

She looked out towards Aayla and called out, “Are… are you alright? Is this… is this normally how these jobs go?” She’d only done the one job before this, and that was rounding up puppies in a city.

At this point aayla was trembling, from what emotion though she wasn't sure. She knew she was exhausted, angry, scared, confused... She let herself fall to her knees when she thought the man would be knocked out, however a few of his fireballs were pelted against her body, knocking her back onto her butt, but not doing any real damage as the fire burned through the parts of the clothes they hit, but fizzled away as it hit her water body. Steam rose from her body, but she simply took water from the area to repair herself. She let herself lie back into the watery grass, looking up at the sky before tilting her head back to look at Kiersa.

"This... is the first time... I have a job...like this..."
She panted as she closed her eyes, letting her body rest against the cold ground.

In the distance, she could hear a mix of crying and cheering. The fireballs had stopped flying, buildings had stopped collapsing and the fighting had stopped. The villagers soon started to carefully make their way back in, slowly reclaiming their merchant stands, their homes and those they had lost were taken to appropriate locations.

"Kiersa... think you can get the authorities..."
She said before turning over onto her stomach where she then carefully pushed herself back up to her feet. One of her knees buckled but she quickly caught herself before walking over to the knocked out fire mage to guard him until the authorities got here to lock him up.

    Spoiler:

Kiersa nodded and was about to try and do just that when a whole volley of fireballs came screeching down towards them. “Aayla!” she cried out as she ran towards her, before she was certain to be in a decent spot. “Stigmata of the Arc!” she intoned once more, crying out as the twenty-one fireballs slammed into her shield, causing it to smash apart like a golden glass window. The nun stared out before seeing them. Twenty one more thugs garbed like the three they had put down earlier had appeared, and they looked angry.

“Okay… umm… any ideas?” asked the nun, looking very worried, and a little pale from the amount of blood loss she had incurred just from the fight with these thugs boss. The nun blinked and then groaned as from the shadows came out thirty three more enemies, these ones looked much stronger than the thugs. There is no way we can fight all of them… Kiersa thought to herself before she looked over at Aayla. It’s the only way… I hope she forgives me later… if there is a later, Maker willing.

The young nun quickly held her hands over Aayla and intoned, “Stigmata of Grace.” She began to quickly transfer all the pain and injuries that the Slayer had encumbered, passing them onto herself, crying out as she did so. As the process began to finish she looked into her comrades eyes and said softly so only she could hear, “Sorry…” Before the Slayer could talk her out of it, she delved deep into the Stigmata magic and activated Infusion.

She let out an almost inhuman cry of pain that even made the enemy step back a little as blood started to rapidly flow from her eyes, hands and feet. A glowing white light formed in the centre of her chest that shot itself towards Aayla as she fell to the floor, unmoving and barely breathing, her body still bleeding even as her friend was infused with her power.

    "What are you doing!?"
Aayla asked as the girl placed her hands on her and started crying out in pain. More blood started to flow from her companions eyes however as a holy light surrounded her, she could feel all of her aches and pains slowly start to fade away. She looked at her hands for a moment, then clenched them into fists before looking out at what looked t be a sea of fire mages.

She felt so violently angry right now. She couldn't remember the last time she had felt this enraged! Even with her parents passing right before her eyes, she was too young to really feel what she was feeling now. Her hands started to tremble but a smirk crossed her face. They were only Fire wizards... what could they do against a water dragon slayer... a slayer who had just dowsed the local area with water.

"I'm sorry Kiersa... we'll be done with this soon..."
She said as she helped the young girl lie down out of the way of this battle. The young wizard stepped forward, reaching out with her right hand. Zinnath launched herself from the ground, wrapping herself around Aayla's arm and slithering up around the dragon slayers neck. In a battle like this, she was going to need all the water she could. When she reached the approximate center of the newly emerged mages she stopped, both her hands moving to either side of her body.

"I am tired of playing with you idiots. I'm giving you this last chance to run."
She stated coldly, very unlike herself at the moment as she glanced around the battlefield. Obviously, they didn't think they could lose, having such massive numbers. Well, she was going to show them just how wrong they were. She would take out as many of them as she could.

    "Water Dragon Typhoon!"
She cried out as she brought her hands together above her head. The water that had seeped into the ground rose up and amplified, creating two large waves that crashed into a handful of mages, picking up a few and knocking a few others to the side. Two large water spheres had been created in her hands that she aimed forward and launched at the group of mages, creating a real water typhoon that began to knock them out one by one. With her attack, the mages once more started to throw their spells at her. She let every single one of them hit her body, all of the fire fizzling out as soon as it hit her. Of course, some of her body looked as if it started to dissapear as the water was turned to steam, but she simply built herself up again from the water in the are.

    "Zinnath!"
She cried out as the serpent launched a second hydro pump towards the mages. Aayla however never let the attack reach the mages as she took a breath and redirected the water towards her as she began to eat her own element.

Kiersa felt Aayla lowering her gently, and could tell that the Slayer was putting her somewhere safe even though she could not see. But whilst she could not move or see, she could still hear. It was an almost dead silence as she presumed the girl moved towards the horde arrayed before them, the only sound being the distant chatter of the enemy fire mages.

The mages chuckled as she gave them a chance to run. “There’s an army of us girl, and only one of you. You may have beat the boss, but you can’t take on all of us before we kill you!” one cried out, the rest taking up the confident cheer as they prepared their own spells, aiming to obliterate her in a ring of fire and flame. When the Typhoon struck however, it was all they could do to stay afloat! Already most of the weaker thugs were down for the count from the torrential deluge Aayla had unleashed, their bodies falling to the floor defeated. The villagers had decided to run for it once more to escape the wrath of the furious Slayer, even if it was only as a by-product of her fight with their attackers.

The stronger ones however launched their assault of fire on her, worry showing in their faces as their attacks didn’t even seem to phase this monster of a girl. “K-keep firing! That bloody water’s gotta turn to steam sooner or later! No way something human can keep that up!” one called out, trying to rally the others.

    "Look around you!"
She called out to the fire wizard that ordered those remaining to continue firing upon her. Again and again the fireballs hit her, evaporating parts of her body again and again however, water from the surrounding area would just fly up to replace the parts that had gone missing.

"There's water all around here. There's water in the air you breath, heck, I BREATH water. Do you really think you can beat me? There might be a lot of you... but I am the daughter of Hydrianna, the mighty Dragon of the Sea. What are the likes of you against a dragon!?"
She boasted with an angry  growl on her face as she continued to step towards her enemies, raising her arm to wipe the water that had escaped her lips while she had eaten Zinnath's attacks.

"You have until the count of 3 until I really get angry. One."
She stated as she raised both hands again. The same kind of spheres appeared around her hands. When she brought them up over her head, the spheres connected and began to spin and whir to create another strong Typhoon which she then threw at another group of the fire mages. The waves crashed into them like an angry rapid smashing up against rocks. It took a lot of magic energy for Aayla to continuously use the Water Dragon Typhoon, but thanks to Zinnath, she could hopefully continue to replenish her magic. She just hoped that Zinanth's own magic lasted long enough for her to reach a state that Hydrianna had only begun to teach her. Dragon Force.

Before Aayla could even say anything Zinnath shot another Hydro pump towards the enemy, only to have her attack interrupted as Aayla redirected the strem of water by taking a large breath and began to eat the water again.

With the second Typhoon, more of them fell to the dragon's fury. All of the weaker thugs were down for the count now, some in various stages of twitching spasms, the others completely still in unconsciousness or probably worse. Nobody was willing to check on their “comrades” health to confirm or deny their demise, not with a midget water dragon and her pet snake constantly hammering into them. The onslaught stopped for a moment, as the group tried to figure out what they should do. They still had fifteen people still conscious, each of them trying to decide how to go about this.

One of them spotted Kiersa in the defended place that Aayla had left her, and tried to make a dash for the downed nun, a fireball forming in their hands. “Let us go, or your sister here burns!” he yelled. Kiersa could only pray to the Maker silently as the man drew closer to her, praying that Aayla would be able to make the right choice. This was the danger with using Infusion, in any scenario. It left her completely vulnerable, unable to move, unable to defend herself, her life slowly ebbing out as she bled. The irony is, even if the man were to strike her with fire, the Stigmata induced wounds, they would not cauterise. Her flesh would burn and her blood would boil, but she would continue to bleed, so long as the Infusion still blessed Aayla.

Five of the thugs began to try and burn away the moisture in the ground and puddles, five others began to try and erase every tincture of water from the air around them, whilst the other four tried to distract Aayla with more attacks whilst at the same time going after the Serpent, figuring that if the snake died, she’d definitely run out of magic power before they did.

    Spoiler:

"Hey! Kiersa take a deep breath!"
The girl yelled out to her compation as she turned her attention towards the nun. She extended both hands forward, widening her stance lightly as if she was about to get hit.

    "Water Lock!"
She cried out as a bubble of water suddenly surrounded Kiersa, picking the young girl up off the floor. With a swipe of her hands closer to her chest, the water bubble began to float her way. Fireballs continued to fly, hitting the water lock and even hitting her however, nothing but steam arose from the affected water as she brought her friend to her side. Only once she knew Kiersa was safe behind her did she let the water lock break, giving Kiersa the much needed air the girl would need.

A sudden loud hiss was heard next to her as she felt something slam into her shoulder. Another annoying fireball had struck her and caught Zinnath as well. The Serpent hissed angrily before literally, slithering into Aayla's water body for protection.

    "Two"
The girl said through gritted teeth as she brought her hands up once more, readying another spell.

    "Water Dragon wave!"
She yelled out as she once more swipped her hands together as two large waves of water went crashing into a handful of the mages, locking them in the watery waves as she began to drop the waters temperature to try and freeze them in place.

Kiersa did as she was told, taking in as deep a breath as she could, placing her complete trust in Aayla. When the bubble of water formed around her, it slowly began to turn crimson as her blood pooled into the new format surrounding her, even as the desperate fire mage tried to make the bubble holding her dissipate. “No! No! That’s not fair!” he cried out.

The young nun gave a small cough when the bubble finally burst, her lungs burning for precious air. “Sorry…” she said softly, feeling chagrined for having to be rescued in the middle of Aayla’s fight, possibly interrupting whatever it was she had been planning in the process. The nun cringed as she could hear the titanic forces at play that the Slayer was, in her mind’s eye, effortlessly commanding.

The fire mages however were not quite as enjoying the situation as either of the girls may have been. Fully half of them were turned into living ice-cubes as the waves crashed into them and began to freeze them. The others were struggling within the waters depths, trying to desperately stay warm by boiling the water around them, painfully making the same mistake as their downed boss.

Kiersa blinked slowly as her vision slowly began to return to her, the Infusions effects beginning to wear off, which in turn meant that they would be wearing off of Aayla as well. As she struggled to move, she saw a blurry outline of something bright in the distance… the same distance that she had been summoned from by the Slayers bubble. “N-no…” she said softly, forcing herself to stand, going over in her head what she should do, and what she could do in her state. There was no way she would be able to survive trying to shield Aayla with either her body or Arc… but the enemy had to be stopped, even if Aayla’s watery body wasn’t able to be harmed by Fire magic.

Kiersa recalled a spell she had only just begun to learn from the sisters, the same day as she’d committed her sin… She’d never cast it before so did not know what it would cost her, but it was all she had left.

The nun forced her legs into an L-shaped stance, and placed her hands before her, shakily breathing as she focused on the enemy behind them. “Stigmata of Longinus…” intoned the nun, a bright spear of holy light streaking forth from her palms and into the mage’s knee, forcing them to cry out and reveal they were there, and also breaking their spell concentration. Blood briefly sputtered from her chest, staining her robes as if she had been stabbed in the heart. Kiersa frowned as she fell to the floor. “I… I was… was aim-aiming… for… for his… head…” she said before she hit the ground and fell unconscious.

Post by Aayla 27th July 2014, 5:53 pm

Aayla's breathing at this point was heavy, even though she could refuel her magic energy, she could feel her body crying out in pain. The fire might not hurt her as it should, but every piece that was chipped away from her would leave a mark when she got back to the guild... she didn't doubt just how many bruises were going to be on her body after this.

She raised her hands up to her sides once more, releasing another wave on another handful of the mages while Zinnath finally slithered her way back onto the wizards shoulders, nuzzling her head comfortingly against the dragon slayers neck.

From behind her, she heard Kiersa cast a spell, and quickly spun on her heels to find another fire wizard ready to try and kill her. He had an arrow in hs knee though and was forced to stop dead in his tracks, finding himself a victim to Aayla's roar.

    "Three..."
The young water mage wobbled for a moment before Zinnath fired off yet another hydro pump into the air. Aayla was quick to absorb it as she held her hand to her head. She felt sick, notious from the ups and downs her body were going through... but there were only a hand full of these mages left.

    "Water Dragon's Claw!!"
She called out as Zinneth fell from her shoulders and she launched herself forward. Five left, she could do this... only five left. She darted to the first one, kicking him square in the chest before striking him again in the head. Off to the next, she swept his feet out from underhim while grabbing the back of his jacket and slamming his down onto the ground. The third, water shot menacingly from her hands as she clawed at his face, then digging those water claws into his gut... The fourth she kicked him in the groin, unable to lift her leg any higher with the exhausted state she was in.

The fifth knocked her to the ground. She groaned loudly as she landed hard on her back, the world going dark for a minute before she began forcing herself to her feet. By the time she stood up though, Zinnath had darted passed her and had her fangs sunk deeply into the mans shoulder. Her poison would act fast from there, already being so close to his heart...

She didn't get to see if the fire mage fell though as she fell back onto the ground. DArkness finally overtaking her sight and her mind. She just couldn't do it anymore... hopefully she hadn't miscounted, and they were all defeated....

The authorities could clean this up...
