Primary Magic: Sand Magic
Secondary Magic: N/A
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: Sand Magic is a form of Magic revolving around the manipulation of sand, either released from the user's body or gathered from the surrounding environment, shaping it into a variety of forms for different purposes. The user is also able to manipulate the physiology of his own body into sand, which may be used in a variety of ways, such as creating decoys or even for mobility purposes. The sand summoned by the user doesn't disappear after the spell ends but remains on the ground.
Suna uses this magic mainly for combat purposes. Enjoying the high defensive abilities this magic provides, Suna can show off and go all out easier without fearing that much about his own safety. Suna's offensive use of this magic is more about being flashy than effective making his attacks difficult to land. That's why he will first try to trap the opponent first before attacking.

Suna's offensive use of this magic is more about being flashy than effective making his attacks difficult to land. That's why he will first try to trap the opponent first before attacking.
Strengths:
- Trapping. Sand magic is one of the best types of magic when it comes to trapping opponents due to the nature of the magic, with a plethora of options for Suna to use.
- Defense. Sand magic also provides high defense to the user, be it walls or shells to block attacks or mobility to dodge attacks making it difficult to harm the user.
- Fire. Sand magic is not what you would like to face if you are a fire mage. Normally fire would turn sand into glass but only under extreme temperature and after quite some time, which is not the case during battles. Any class with fire spells of the same or lower rank and sand magic will always prevail.
Weaknesses:
- Wind. Facing wind or air magic users, or even fighting under circumstances with heavy wind, severely hinders the control of the user over the sand making it very difficult, if not impossible, to use the magic correctly. Any class with wind or air magic of the same or higher rank and sand magic is overpowered.
- Water. Another form of elemental magic that sand is weak to since it turns sand into mud and the user loses control over it. Any class with water magic of the same or higher rank and sand magic is overpowered.
- High mobility targets. The sand produced by this magic is not the fastest thing out there making Suna to struggle against those opponents since he can't trap them and attack them effectively.
- Limited offensive options. Sand magic is more about defense and trapping leaving the user with few offensive options, with most of them being difficult.
Abilities/Powers:
- Dehydration. The most interesting ability this magic provides is that it allows the user to rob the moisture of anything the user touches, causing the living such as humans and plants to wither through dehydration, and also cause all other matter like rocks and land to crumble to dust and sand. Only metallic or ferrous substances are spared from this dehydration effect. This ability depends on the user's strength meaning that on lower ranks it's taking quite some time for the full effect but will happen almost instantly with full mastery. As far as absorbing water is concerned, except for the user's mastery, the full effect is also affected by the amount of water the user has to absorb making the technique difficult to use when large amounts are concerned unless the user has plenty of time.
- Sand Manipulation. Another ability sand magic provides to the user is that it allows him to control not only the sand he creates, but also the pre-existing sand in the environment. This in turn helps the user to land his spells easier since he can use the sand around his opponents than having to create his own.
- Seismic Sense. This magic also allows the user to sense anything that is moving through the sand by sensing the vibrations the object makes when moving. He can tell the speed and size of the object but in order for this ability to take effect the user must be in contact with the sand.
- Sand Body. Finally this magic gives the user the ability to turn his body into sand, making it fluid, enabling it to travel through sand without problem, and difficult to harm through conventional means. All wind and water attacks damage the user's body normally and so are all attacks that are a rank higher than that of the user. Water attacks also make the user's body solid and unable to use that ability again for 2 posts. Every time Suna uses this ability he spends 5% magic. Lasts for 1 post. Cooldown 1 post after the ability ends.
- D Rank Spells:
- Sand Wall:
- Name: Sand Wall
Rank: D
Type: Sand, Defensive
Description: By summoning sand from his hands Suna forms a sand wall in front of himself, to protect himself. The shape of the wall may vary to fit Suna's needs. Everyone can benefit from the defensive properties ofthe wall be it Suna, his allies or even his enemies depending on their position. The size of the wall depends on the rank of the spell. At D rank the wall can be maximum 2 meters tall and 10 meters long.
Duration: Lasts for 2 posts unless being dispelled by Suna earlier or get destroyed.
Cooldown: 3 posts
Strengths:- Can block most physical attacks and spells of the same or lower rank. It takes 2 D-Rank spells or 1 C-Rank spell to get destroyed.
- Can protect both Suna and his allies if they stand behind it.
- Can protect a wide area making it good against both single target and wide range spells.
Weaknesses:- The wall blocks vision from anyone behind it.
- Enemies can also use the wall to protect themselves with good positioning.
- The wall is immovable and cannot alter in shape once made.
- The wall only blocks frontal attacks leaving anyone behind it prone to attacks from the side or behind.
- Can block most physical attacks and spells of the same or lower rank. It takes 2 D-Rank spells or 1 C-Rank spell to get destroyed.
- Sand Clone:
- Name: Sand Clone
Rank: D
Type: Sand, Utility
Description: The user manipulates the sand to create a perfect sand clone of themselves. After the sand clone is hit, the body turns into sand and envelopes the enemy, leaving them vulnerable to attacks. If the clone is not attacked within the duration of the spell he simply turns into sand.
Duration: 2 posts at D Rank.
Cooldown: 3 posts from when the clone fades away or is destroyed.
Strengths:- Can trap an opponent that attacked it from melee distance. Last for 2 posts on same or lower ranked targets. Targets that are one rank higher get trapped for half the duration. Any targets ranked higher than that cannot get trapped.
- Can confuse an opponent into thinking it's the real one giving Suna time to escape, prepare or dodge an attack.
- Really effective against low intelligence targets such as beasts or pets, or ones that lost rational thinking since they won't be able to see through the spell.
Weaknesses:- The opponent must attack from melee distance in order to trap them.
- If the opponent can see Suna making the clone the spell is rather useless.
- After being used once the spell loses its element of surprise making it easy to deal with.
- The clone can't talk or use spells.
- Can trap an opponent that attacked it from melee distance. Last for 2 posts on same or lower ranked targets. Targets that are one rank higher get trapped for half the duration. Any targets ranked higher than that cannot get trapped.
- Sand Blade:
- Name: Sand Blade
Rank: D
Type: Sand, Offensive
Description: With a swift movement of his hand Suna creates a sand blade into the ground and propels it at his opponent in high speed. The blade splits anything in its path, including the ground itself, through extreme and focused erosion. The maximum range of this spell is 50 meters and its speed is 25 m/s. The blade is extended 1,5 meter above the ground and its width is 0,5 meters.
Duration: 1 post
Cooldown: 2 posts
Strengths:- Can travel a long distance in a small amount of time.
- Can destroy obstacles in its way like trees, or rocks, or even barriers without losing on power due to the erosion. The barriers or the walls created by other mages must be same or lower ranked however to get destroyed.
- Very effective against earth affinity mages passing through and destroying all the same or lower rank spells.
Weaknesses:- Can only go straight making it easy to dodge.
- Only hits grounded opponents.
- Very poor AoE only damaging the line it crosses through.
- Needs to cross terrain in order to move meaning that any deep gaps or holes will stop the spell.
- Can travel a long distance in a small amount of time.
- Sand Blast:
- Name: Sand Blast
Rank: D
Type: Sand, Offensive
Description: Suna manipulates the sand to revolve around the target. Once the target is trapped he swipes his hand to make it explode with the target inside it. The radius of the explosion is rather small covering only 1 meters around the center. Suna can activate the blast from a maximum of 15 meters from the target.
Duration: 2 post
Cooldown: 3 posts
Strengths:- Suna can directly make the sand explode around the target if he is already trapped by one of his other spells.
- Once the opponent actually gets trapped in the sand it is near impossible to escape with conventional means.
- The spell also hinders the opponent's visibility with all the sand moving around him.
Weaknesses:- The spell is useless until Suna actually traps someone with his sand.
- The target must be fully trapped for the full effect of the spell. Otherwise only the bodypart trapped will be affected.
- Suna cannot directly summon sand around the target to trap them making this technique difficult to land against constantly moving targets.
- The spell will probably work on one enemy at a time unless they are all packed on the same spot due to the small radius of the explosion.
- Suna can directly make the sand explode around the target if he is already trapped by one of his other spells.
