Primary Magic: Symbiosis Pact
Secondary Magic: (Must be filled in later. Magic you bought at the store goes here)
Caster or Holder: It is Holder Magic, but only in the most technical of terms.
Description: Symbiosis Pact is a special type of magic, custom made by Vivian through her knowledge of magical theory. It holds aspects of Take Over, Celestial Magic, and Solid Script, and has the capacity to gain aspects of almost any other form of magic. Simply put, Symbiosis Pact allows the user to form various Pacts with other users. The Pact can take many forms, but they must leave an identifiable mark; as such, blood pacts are the most common type done due to the blatant traces it leaves. The Pact remnants must then be placed in a volume of some kind; for Vivian, it is a musty tome, but concievably any kind of compendium could do, as long as the Pacts are all in one place. Once a Pact is completed and filed away, Vivian can activate Symbiosis Mode, which allows her to use the powers of those she has formed Pacts with. The power of the various borrowed abilities depends on A. Vivian's own magic power, and B. The bond between Vivian and the pactee.
A Pact gives Vivian four distinct things:

The power of the various borrowed abilities depends on A. Vivian's own magic power, and B. The bond between Vivian and the pactee.
A Pact gives Vivian four distinct things:
- A physical trait, such as build or hair color/style
- A personality trait, like easily-irritated or gullible
- A passive magical ability of the Pactee
- A spell from the Pactee of rank equal to the rank of the Pact.
Strengths:
- Versatility. This is easily the biggest benefit of Symbiosis Pact. Symbiosis Pact lends a staggering amount of range to the styles of fighting and magic that Vivian can access. She can also mix and match forms and skills, allowing her access to abilities that not even her Pactees can match (Although at the cost of some mental turmoil).
- Infinite duration: Vivian's differents forms cost no mana to change into, and can last indefinitely, although casting the borrowed spells will have mana costs as usual.
- "Bond Power". Bond Power refers to the increase in power Symbiosis Pact gets from the bond between Vivian and the pactee. If Vivian is close friends with a person, her abilities can overpower those of the same rank; if it is a significant other or a sibling, her power can even match those of a rank higher.
Weaknesses:
- Personality Traits. Symbiosis Pact borrows more than just the magic of others; it isn't uncommon for Vivian to get personality traits, physical traits, and even the mental state of the pactee. This puts immense stress on Vivian's mental state, and is in fact what led to the creation of her alternate personality, Vi.
- Difficulty to obtain. Good Symbiosis Pacts are extremely difficult to come by; one must know the Pactee intimately to get full power out of it, and finding somebody willing to make a Pact can be a strenuous and time-consuming process.
- Reverse Bond Power. Much like how Vivian's magic gets stronger the closer she is to the pactee, it also gets less powerful the less she knows a person. Magic borrowed from a complete stranger can be overpowered by spells a rank lower; it steadily improves as she gets closer to the person, however.
- Reliance on Objects. Vivian's magic revolves around her binder of pacts that she has hidden away; if a person can find/destroy it, she will lose all of the Symbiosis Modes she has.
- No Mana Regen: Even if Vivian makes a Pact with somebody that can regen mana, she herself will not be able to regain it. Since her magic is somewhat mana-heavy, this could be catastrophic if she doesn't watch her mana use.
Abilities/Powers:
- Mix & Match: Vivian and Vi can combine the shape and casting of one spell with the element of another, creating unique spells and abilities with the resources they have. The mana cost of the combined spell will be equal to the mana cost of the spell that determines the shape.
- Element fusion: Vivian can fuse multiple elements into a single spell, increasing it's damage by 10% per element but increasing the mana cost by a flat 5% for each additional element.
- Sunburst: Sunburst is a unique technique Vivian can only use as a last resort. When her life is in critical danger, she can activate all of her Symbiosis Modes at once, allowing her to mix and match magic types as she pleases with no mana cost. The resulting feedback causes the dominant personality at the time to go dormant. The one time it's been used before, Vi was deactivated for a week.
- Mind Messaging: This is a special power that allows Vivian and her Pactees to exchange mental letters, or something similar to them. They take minor amounts of Magic power to send, but it takes total concentration for about 15 minutes in order to send one; as such, it cannot be used in battle, but rather it is used to keep in touch over long distances and improve the power of the Pacts thusly.
Spells:
- D Rank:
- Ironbark Mode:
- Name: Ironbark Mode
Rank: D
Type: All-purpose
Description: Vivian uses the power of her Symbiosis Pact to take on the attributes of Kaseki, the Demon of Life. The traits she gains are as follows:
Physical: Plant Skin - Vivian’s skin becomes a lesser version of Kaseki’s Ironbark structure, allowing her to absorb nonmagical water and use Kaseki’s spells that require it. (can hold up to a gallon of water)
Mental: Mood Swings - while taking Kaseki’s magic, Vivian also falls prey to his violent mood swings; she will often have very strong bursts of random emotions while taking this form.
Ability: Plant’s Blessing - While taking Kaseki’s form, Vivian has the ability to gain life energy from her stored water, just like Kaseki. However, it is a weaker version, so she must have fully stored water in order to gain life. (gains 5% life per post while holding a gallon of water)
Spell: Waterbend- Vivian has access to Kaseki’s ability to manipulate water while using this form.- Spell for reference:
- Name:Waterbend
Rank:D
Type:Water
Description: Kaseki moves his limbs to push liquid with a telekinetic-like force to move the liquid in the direction of his movement. Can cast water up to 10 yards away, after that distance the liquid loses its' link with the caster and returns to being what it was prior to the spell.
Strengths:
- Able to push back an enemy with a decent amount of water
- Able to push forward an ally to give them a speed boost in a single direction
- Able to push water up like a geyser to throw a target into the air
Weaknesses:
- The force itself does not do damage
- Pushes water away from him. (Cannot recover it for a later attack)
- Cannot control more than a gallon of water (per limb) at any one given time
- Very light, cannot move heavier objects.
- Water loses link when it is made contact with the target (Dissipates after one post)
Duration: One Post
Cooldown: Two Posts
Strengths:
Kaseki’s ironbark skin is water-resistant; while Vivian is using this form, she takes 15% reduced damage from magical water attacks.
The shape of Waterbend is easily translatable into other elements, so Vivian can use it with any element that she has access to.
Although casting her borrowed spell has a mana cost, Vivian can assume the form for no cost.
Weaknesses:
The violent mood swings Vivian gets from Kaseki are extreme; she can easily be incapacitated if one strikes at the wrong time.
Since this Pact’s physical and mental changes are extreme, Vivian cannot assume this form at the same time as other Pacts until a higher rank.
This Pact is not particularly useful for combat, since its spell does no damage.
Out of all of Vivian’s current Pacts, this is the one that she knows the least; as a result, there can be difficulties in activating it.
Duration for the form is technically infinite, although it starts to drain 5% mana per post to maintain after five posts.
