A Foxy Encounter [OPEN]

Yuna shivered in the cold, freezing air of the dark and scary forest she had come upon in frantic search for her kitten, Luna. "Luna..! Where a-are you..?" she cried out into the night sky, "L-Luna..!" Tears began to drip down her rosy cheeks as she ventured deeper into the forest. Without seeing where she was going, Yuna stumbled across a large tree root and fell, scraping her arm in the process. "L-Luna..!" She cried out again hoping that this time Luna would appear. As she had hoped, Luna appeared from behind a tree sulking, "Dummy! How dare you loose me!" She hissed, raising her small head indignantly staring off into a the dark, sapphire sky. Yuna looked at Luna with shiny green, tear filled eyes before kneeling down and opening her arms to Luna. "I-I'm sorry..." She sniffed. Luna shook her head and huffed, "Don't you dare be crying on me..! What did I tell you about that?" Luna said before jumping into Yuna's arms. Luna pressed her tiny paws on Yuna's chest, healing her wounds and then snuggled close for warmth. "Come on. Let's go now before we get lost." A bright light began to glow, engulfing the forest in a dim light and the two began to walk in a diagonal direction heading deeper into the forest. It was not long before they came across a small cave. "L-Let's go inside..." Yuna suggested as she took them towards the cave. Luna meowed in agreement. "There better be food in there." she added before adding more light. "Or you'll be owing me a salmon and a big bowl of milk..!

Lina padded around on the forest floor, swishing her tail. Every night on the full moon she would change into a small silver fox, since the moon gave her enough magic power to do so. But she never really had a choice. It always happened, no matter what she did. But she would be back to her typical self when the sun rose again. She could hear someone shouting pretty far off, she didn't get to see people all that much anymore so she decided to go over and have a peek. Poking her about out a bush seeing a girl and her kitten, the cat could talk, unfortunately for her she was unable to speak while in her transformation. She was weak now, but someday this was going to be very powerful..

She fallowed the two silently to a cave, sitting on a tree branch by the entrance. Listening to their chatter.

Yuna nodded in a agreement. Her kitten could be very demanding, but she loved her. Luna shivered a bit and began to hiss. "Do you feel that?" Luna asked Yuna, "Something is watching us." Yuna's eyes widened. "Wh-what do we do..?" She stammered, hugging Luna close. Luna began to struggled trying to free herself out of the death hold. "Well, for starters, don't hug me too tight! And second,let's go explore..!" Yuna nodded meekly in agreement and started to head off towards the trees. Yuna couldn't help but wonder what lurked in the trees. She just hoped it wouldn't be a ghost. "Luna, but, I-I'm scared..!" Yuna whispered to Luna. "I want to go home." Luna squirmed free and jumped from her arms. "Well? Go home then or are you coming?" she hissed before running off. Yuna trembled in fear yet ran after her kitten. "Wait for me..!"

Lina overheard their conversation, and ran up higher into the tree she was in. She couldn't help to rustle the branches and leaves as she climbed up. Hoping they wouldn't see her, she ducked on a small branch surrounded by leaves, even though her fur coat didn't blend with the environment, she hoped the leaves would provide enough cover.

Luna's ears perked up and turned off the light as the moon provided enough light so that her own light was not necessary. She began to claw up the tree that the stranger was hiding in. She wasn't going to wait for Yuna. Yuna would only tell her that it was dangerous to be climbing up there in the middle of the night. It took a while, but in du time, she was able to reach the top of the tree. Her yellow eyes gleamed brightly as she stared into the eyes of a white fox that hid behind leaves. The black kitten cautiously neared the fox trying hard to not raise its alarm. "Mew meeew meeew (Hello, my name is Luna.)"" She asked her, "Meeeow (You)?" Luna sensed something different in the fox, but she couldn't quite put a finger on it. She also made sure not to talk human so that the creature would not get alarmed.  There was a rustling and Luna looked down away from the fox to see her master, Yuna, below them. Yuna looked up at her kitty and frowned. She just hoped that Luna wouldn’t fall. “A-Are you alright?” she asked her kitten. Luna narrowed her eyes and mewed before looking at the fox and expecting an answer.

Lina shrunk in her leafy cover, she never had anyone to talk to anymore. So she decided she would speak up. "I-im...lina..." She said through her fox squeaks. Her head pointed at the ground and her eyeslooked like space, filled with purples, blues, silvers, and sparkles like stars. But her expression was shy and concealed as she wrapped her fluffy tail around herself protectively.

Luna titled her tiny head while giving the tiny fox a small, friendly smile. "Nice to meet you, Lina," She said purring. Suddenly, she heard Yuna's soft voice calling up to her worriedly. Luna sighed and turned to look own at Yuna although she completely ignored her question. "Below us is my master Yuna. She's a spirit, like me." Luna said, still looking at Yuna. "Want to come down there to meet her?" Luna gave Lina a grin, "I am positive she'll love you. She's a nature fairy." All this she said in the language of the felines. She was quite content that the fox understood it for how strange it would be if she had to resort to fox? Yuna still looked up and stretched her hands out towards her kitten. "C-Come down..! I-I don't want you to get hurt..!" Luna sighed and mewed a response. She knew that Yuna understood. Yuna, of course understood, and frowned worriedly fluttering her wings nervously. She trusted her kitten, but she couldn't help but feel worried. She hoped that whatever Luna was doing up there was not at all dangerous.

Lina looked down at the nature fairy, her soft voice and small smile made her seem approachable. She looked over at the black kitten, letting her tail lower and her ears raise. Then she agreed to go with her.

Kiba was used to wandering while reading, just walking endlessly letting his feet guide him to his next destination were ever that might be. he was unsure how long and far he had walked this time but cared little about it, his book kept him amused. this book "The Fangs of a White Wolf" was mainly a book about wolves and the like, he had hoped to get a friend someday and a K9 appealed to him. he wandered for a while longer till he heard voices, faint but one clearly familiar. Closing his book and storing it in his bookbag, Kiba turn in the direction he heard them and approaches them. So as to not scare anyone with his sudden presence he calls out. "Hello."

Luna grinned her kitty grin and spoke down at Yuna. "Yuna! Meet a new friend. Her name is Lina!" Instead of talking feline, she spoke human as she much rather prefered. Yuna looked as the silver fox that followed behind Luna slowly. "S-She's so pretty and... and cute..!" Yuna exclaimed happily making sure she didn't make any sudden movements. The kitten and silver fox reached the ground and Yuna kneeled down and opened her arms at them. Luna walked daintily to Yuna and sat at her knees while the fox stood a certain length away. Yuna and Luna coaxed the fox to near them. A sudden  voice cause them to jump yet they said nothing as to scare the fox.

Lina slowly worked her way towards the girl, something about her making her approachable. Most likely the fact she was a nature fairy, she leaned forward with her nose to sniff her outstretched Hand. Then she heard something far off, she jumped and ran by the nearest tree. Hiding behind it.

Stepping around the a final tree kiba sees yuna standing there with next to her cat. stepping back a little "yuna... what has you out here at this time?" looking around the area he caught site of some trampled grass. "is someone else here i heard voices." he says this without looking up. "out here for some secret meeting with a cute boy or something." the mischief in his voice is apparent.
