    The Job:

Well, this definitely was not how Eli imagined his first guild job going. While he never exactly imagined himself in a guild in the first place, never imagined going to deal with a vulcan and goblin being his first. It just seemed to... silly. Seriously. He had to go deal with two idiots that tried to block a train for 100 pies. He let out a long sigh, walking along the train track with his team. It was fairly far down the track, and by now both sides were covered with forest on either side. That was probably one of the main reasons it had taken so long for the situation to get resolved; it was fairly out of the way. Both hands in his pockets, Eli leaned his head back and started humming a tune. It had no strict rhythm, and instead seemed to constantly change. It wasn't that bad however, Eli had a good sense for music, and a surprisingly good singing voice.

It was boring, but in the end it was him who picked the job. He had grabbed it because it for a few reasons, but they all seemed irrelevant to him now. It was harder than he thought to get work when you just joined a guild; it seemed most clients valued experience heavily. Well, he'd just have to prove to them that he could handle it then. It shouldn't be too hard; just do a few easy jobs then before you know it he could start taking some real challenges. And the- Wait, what was he thinking? It didn't matter at all, it's not like he was going to stay in the guild. He had ever intention of leaving as soon as he found a way to make sure Zenshin let him go in peace. He looked back to his group, still humming his tune. Seeing Emilia and Brielle behind him, it made him feel kinda bad for leaving. There was no way he could make Emilia leave, she wanted to be in a guild, it was wrong of him to take her away. And he was actually fairly fond of Brielle. She was one of the main reasons he took such an easy job; he didn't want anything too stressful on her. Not that he doubted her abilities as a wizard, he just didn't want to put too much pressure on such a young girl. Returning to his view of the sky, he pushed the thoughts out of his head. He could deal with that when he actually found a way to leave the guild, for now, he should focus on the job.

Emilia walked along behind Eli for now, holding Trauma in its mace form, idly swinging it a bit out of boredom. She was looking forward to getting on with the job. Bashing some skulls would be fun. She wondered why she hadn't taken point. Of any of them, she should be up front. The idiots blockading the railroad certainly wouldn't be smart enough to ambush the group. Eli sure as hell couldn't take a hit as well as she could, and Emilia doubted the girl could either, unless she was using metal magic or something, which Emi doubted. The girl didn't seem the type. Besides, if it did come to violence, they Emilia would have to charge in to fight anyway while Eli would sit back and toss his cards or whatever at them. The girl would probably do something similar or perform some sort of flanking or rear attacks.

Emi picked up the pace to catch up to Eli. She was a bit curious about the girl. They hadn't talked really, and Emilia couldn't even remember her name. The girl might have overheard hers, though. While she was curious, this wasn't the time to talk about it. Besides, she might learn why Eli brought her along should push come to shove (which she hoped it would). "I'll take point from here, Eli. Wouldn't want you hurting your pretty face or arm." She said with a teasing grin on her face as she walked passed him.

Job; Get Rid of That Pesky Blockade [Eli, Emilia, Brielle - Team] Empty Re: Job; Get Rid of That Pesky Blockade [Eli, Emilia, Brielle - Team]

Post by Guest 1st July 2014, 1:27 pm

Brielle kept quiet as the group strolled down to the train station in Clover Town. It was rather amazing as to what people could do, but even moreso, a Vulcan and Goblin with rambunctious behavior. The job for the day was to eliminate the targets that requested 100 pies and 100 tubs of sherbert from the folks at the station. That was quite the amount requested and not to mention how they tore down a tree just for pies and sherbert. In the girl's perspective, it all seemed like too much trouble to go through. Tearing down a tree in order to stop a train, closing down the station... all for pies and sherbert. It was almost laughable in a sense as to how much trouble the creatures were going through for food. It was a true example of their nature.

Keeping a casual demeanor, the young mage observed her two new teammates. Eli was indeed a familiar face and one that she was fond of. It was to be considered that he was a friend, and she was comfortable being around him. It was still memorable on how he was skilled in regards to the game of solitaire, and magic tricks. Even if it was a short time ago it was something the girl would remember for quite some time for as long as she knew him. As for the elder woman known as Emilia, Brielle hadn't the slightest reason to distrust her or anything of the sort. In all actuality, she wondered quite a bit about the woman. It was true that the two of them didn't converse much, but if she was a part of Sabertooth and Eli trusted her, that was all the more reason to consider her an ally - an acquaintance. It was to be hoped that she and Emilia could become friends... Feeling a small smile align her pink tinted lips, the girl pressed on behind the two enjoying the time ticking by as the realization of being a part of a team stroke her.

It wasn't before long that a soft humming began to resound the environment, the source of a smooth tone being Eli. Brielle's eyes seemed to widen slightly before they were closed, the smile on the girl's lips growing as the tune was still being played. It was a lovely melody that he was humming, and it was calming if not warming. Not a word was spoken for a period of time so far, the only action being the tune that Eli was humming. However, that was no longer true as Emilia had suddenly spoken up in a tease towards the man as she brushed past him. The young mage's eyes opened upon the words being said, the smile on her lips never faltering. Instead, a soft giggle passed her lips.

Eli gave Emilia a sly smile, stopping the humming for a second and turning to Emilia. He stopped beside her and bent his arm across his chest, keeping his palm open and turning to the side of the trail. "Of course, Milady, I wouldn't want to keep you from your lovely vulcan boyfriend too long. Don't worry, you'll be the first to see him." Eli moved back next to Brielle, giving her a playful smile. He was glad that everyone was in high spirits at least; it made the waste of time the mission felt like more bearable. Eli wasn't exactly a thrill seeker, but he still wouldn't have liked something a bit more challenging. Turning his view back up to the sky, he placed both hands behind his head and returned to walking, now following Emilia.

As he walked, he began to wonder what would happen if he actually stayed in the guild. He'd get the chance to spend more time with people like Brielle, and so far, most of the people in the guild all seemed quite pleasant, albeit Zenshin. There were still a few he had yet to meet to. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad, but his pride wouldn't allow it. Still, for the time being at least, he was stuck here, so he might as well enjoy it. "Bri, I think we should stay back for a bit. It's going to be quite the scene when Emi is reunited with her love, I don't want to embarass her by watching. We can go up and join her after the make-out session." Eli kept his view to the sky the entire time, but if she looked up, she could probably see his playful grin through his arms. While they couldn't see the vulcan nor the goblin currently, they could at least see the tree in the distance, and it was fairly likely the pair would emerge at any second. While it was a joke, it was also some serious advice; from here, Eli and Brielle should stay back and let Emilia go first, just to make sure they kept enough distance if a fight started.

"Be honest, Eli, you just wish you were half as attractive as he is." Emilia responded to Eli's comment. She saw the tree up ahead and picked up the pace a bit. She called out, not knowing where the vulcan and goblin were. "Alright you little bastards, come on out, we'll give you an hour to start taking down your blockade before we beat the shit out of you!"

Emilia's ultimatum was met with a response from the goblin hiding in the underbrush somewhere off to their left. "You no bring food! We no come out!" Emilia decided to try to draw them out with trickery. She sighed and called out. "Dammit! Alright fine, we have your food! We were just hoping to keep it." She sighed, seeming annoyed. The goblin came out of the underbrush with the vulcan. "Good! Now give us food!" Emilia smiled and walked toward the goblin. "Where is food?!"
"I got it right here. We were out of pies, all I have is a knuckle sandwich. With that, she punched the goblin in the jaw, not using any magic. She wasn't sure if she should kill them in front of Brielle, since she was young. Besides, they hadn't exactly done anything bad, more just been stupid. She raised her shield, getting ready to defend herself from counterattack.

Job; Get Rid of That Pesky Blockade [Eli, Emilia, Brielle - Team] Empty Re: Job; Get Rid of That Pesky Blockade [Eli, Emilia, Brielle - Team]

Post by Guest 4th July 2014, 5:01 pm

Eli and Emilia were certainly the pair to observe. Despite not having any close relations with either of them, Brielle was enjoying her time with the two all the same. The feeling of being a part of the team was something rather wonderful. Not only did the three of them get to participate on a fair number of missions with one another, but each of them had one another to rely on in a time of need. It was that idea that caused the young member to become so fond of the concept and idea. She had hoped that it would last for quite some time. However, it was unsure of how the future would play out... Only time would tell in the adventures and endeavors they all came across. As Eli had stepped aside for Emilia to take the lead in such a formal manner, the raven haired girl couldn't help but brush her fingers over her lips to stifle a laugh. Judging by the playful smile on the elder man's lips when he neared her, the enjoyment in the atmosphere was confirmed to be true.

Beginning to press onward, Brielle couldn't help but wonder what exactly the group would do upon encountering the Vulcan and Goblin. It was a bit nerve wracking to ponder on the thoughts of the two creatures having to be beaten brutally, but this was a mission that needed to be taken care of after all. There was nothing to be gained by running away and the girl had more than one reason to stand her ground regarding the matter. Even if this mission proved to be quite pointless in more senses than one, it was a mission that would help yet another individual all the same. Seeing their worries drift away into the past - a smile of relief lining their lips - was all the worthwhile for the McCloud to see. It was the very tune to make others happy that kept her going in each challenge that came across her path. Feeling her eyes prick slightly at the sound of Eli's voice, the girl tilted her gaze up to his features before a giggle escaped her lips despite the light tint of pink betraying the action.

"How quaint... To be reunited with a love is an ultimate form of happiness within moments. I-I'll follow your lead, Eli." Such playful behavior from the young girl was rare to be seen, so it was a rare occasion to play along the way she did. However, it wasn't before long that Emilia had made the demand for the creatures to reveal themselves from the brush. Brielle had kept in tune with Eli's directions from before and took a step back, preparing for what was to come for the poor creatures considering Emilia's nature. It seemed that the trickery the woman was performing was working all the while, an almost playful atmosphere taking place with each word that flowed out from her mouth. The next course of action made the girl release a cringed sound at the sight of Emilia punching the Goblin in the jaw, soon coming to admire the woman's bold action. Taking a step back once more, Brielle simply focused her gaze on the Vulcan as she awaited the right moment to activate her Magic...

Eli watched Emilia call out their targets, amused as always by her definitive 'grace.' Casually, he reached into his deck box and began to select cards, knowing already what Emilia prepared to do. Holding three cards in Gloria, he reached into his pocket and grabbed a coin in the opposite hand. He was already ready to fight, now it was just waiting for Emilia's queue. The two creatures seemed fairly simple, if not downright stupid, this shouldn't be a hard fight for the three of them at all. The biggest problem would be the vulcan. Emilia would have to focus on pinning him down so he couldn't get to Brielle or himself, who stood several meters behind her.

Cracking his neck, he turned to Brielle and gave her a smile, silently mouthing "Three, two, one," to her, the one almost perfectly timed with Emilia's hit. He held the coin above his thumb, he gave Brielle a curious look. "Now Brielle, do you remember my lesson? Let's see how lucky the vulcan is today." With a large flick, the coin flew from Eli's hand, flying in a direct loop over Emilia towards the large creature. When it hovered just before it's face, the coin suddenly glowed, a large orb of fire suddenly forming around it before exploding outwards, all across the unsuspecting vulcan's face. Letting out a loud howl, the creature madly grabbed at it's face, trying to come to comprehend the damage and shock. Now enraged, the beast made for a mad charge at Eli, eager to repay his act. "Emilia, you may want to stop your boyfriend there. He seems to see me as a love rival now. Can you explain the misunderstanding to him?" Eli made no attempt to move at all, trusting Emilia to intercept the beast.

While Emilia's sucker punch hadn't necessarily put the goblin down for the count, he did go flying a fair distance. She was going to kick him again to make sure he was out, but she heard the whoosh and saw the flash of Eli's ignus spell. Surely the goblin would at least be dazed for a good amount of time. In the meantime she could deal with the vulcan, which was responding wonderfully to Eli's attack by charging straight at him. The vulcans reckless, rage-driven charge left it perfectly vulnerable to a flanking attack. With a loud bang that quickly transitioned to a fwooosh, Emilia propelled herself toward the vulcan using Bullheaded, and collided with it, hard. While it was heavier than her, she did managed to stagger it with the unexpected blow to the side. This helped absorb enough of the force that Emilia didn't injure herself with her attack. She swung at the vulcan while it tried to recover its balance, hoping to knocked it to the ground completely, leaving it vulnerable to taking a pummeling.

While she was confident that the goblin would give her no trouble, she did acknowledge that ignoring it was a small risk. Hopefully it wouldn't manage to get up and ambush her from behind. Though even if it tried, she had Brielle and Eli watching her back. Hell, Brielle alone could take on the little bugger while she and Eli taught this vulcan a lesson.

Brielle observed the scene unfolding before her, catching sight of Eli mouthing a countdown. By the time the last number was reached, Emilia's sucker punch made contact with the creature, dealing quite a bout of damage to the Goblin as it flew across a fair distance. The young mage seemed to watch with an impressed expression as her lips parted slightly before Eli captured her attention once more. Swiftly turning to the elder man, a look of curiosity clouded her features before the coin twirling in the air sent a sure signal of the lesson learned in the past. From that moment a small smile aligned the raven haired mage's lips, the coin slowly falling to earth between Emilia and the Vulcan. Preparing for what is about to come, the girl kept her eyes focused on the familiar glow of the coin before a fire burst forth from within its contents. To be followed was a loud shriek of the Vulcan as it grabbed its damaged facial features, it was almost forseen that a rage would take place regarding the McCloud's experience with the creatures.

It turns out that it was exactly as predicted judging by how the Vulcan propelled itself towards Eli. Creasing her brows, Brielle prepared herself in case the timing to stop the creature on Emilia's account failed, but it was at that moment the woman proved herself by delivering a staggering blow to its side. The sense of worry didn't falter even after Emilia brought the creature to an almost stunned state as the elder mage could have easily hurt herself in that regard. Still, she was standing and observing the Vulcan that tried to recover from the blow while the stinging pain of Eli's ignus spell was still in effect. Turning around to catch the Goblin charging forth, Brielle didn't waste the moment to run past Eli while tapping a hand to his shoulder. "Take care of the vulcan!" With those words spoken forth, Brielle teleported with ease as the Goblin halted in its tracks in confusion. Its head searched left and right in utter confusion while the raven haired mage appeared behind it within seconds. Making an attempt to swing forth her foot to the side of the Goblin's head, Brielle wasted no time in attempting to take care of the creature while Eli and Emilia dealt with the Vulcan.

The vulcan down as Emilia's swing took it off it's feet, Eli turned his attention to Brielle. It seemed that she wanted to take care of the goblin by herself. Eli had a warm smile watching her teleport and go for the goblin, who completely unaware of the girl's sudden movement was taken down with almost complete ease. Raising a hand to his face, he wiped away a fake tear and took a deep breath from his nose. "They grow up so fast." It was very interesting for him to see the normally timid Brielle suddenly going on the offensive. Maybe she wanted to prove herself? Or was it a sense of urgency she suddenly felt? Regardless, Brielle could more than handle the small creature, she he decided it was best to listen to her and finish taking down the vulcan with Emilia.

The creature now lying on the ground, trying to regain both it's breath and standing. It had taken the blow hard, falling off it's feet and onto it's back with a loud thud. Struggling to move, it seemed it was almost in shock and unable to get itself back to it's sense. He felt a sense of pity for the creature; it looked rather pathetic. All it wanted was some food. Yet, he had to teach it a lesson so it wouldn't try this stupidity again. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out two stones, chucking them into the air above the creature's feet. An orange glow blanketed them as it flew above the feet, before suddenly expanding out into a triangle of large stone spikes. He hoped that the beast wouldn't be able to move fast enough in it's current state to avoid the hit, and that it could effectively limit the creature's movement enough to allow Emilia to have her punching bag for a bit. "Here you are Emi, my present to you; a vulcan shaped punching bag."

Emilia was too concentrated on fighting the vulcan to see Brielle take on the goblin, though if she had, she would likely have been amused. Honestly, her own one hit against the goblin could have been a bit of overkill. Three people to take on these two was overkill. Brielle could certainly handle the goblin. Emilia didn't get much joy from beating on small creatures. No challenge to it. Vulcans on, on the other hand, vulcans were fun.

Speaking of vulcans, Emi was satisfied that she had managed to knock her opponent over, and glad that she had avoided injury despite her opponent's weight. Emi saw the stones land near the vulcan and took a step back for them to activate, making sure she wasn't hit by them. She grinned as the spell pinned the creature's feet down with two giant rocks. She dropped her shield and extended Trauma's handle, using the mace with two hands now. She swung it at the creature's stomach, making sure to stay as far back as possible, since its arms were still loose. "Thanks for the gift, Eli, but it's not quite a punching bag yet. It can still hit back."  To be honest, part of her wished that Eli hadn't pinned it. She was looking forward to a challenge, then again, it was hard to find a challenge when it's three against two, one of those two being a puny goblin.

It was both a sense of urgency and quick reaction timing on Brielle's part. The Goblin simply couldn't be left unattended while they dealt with the Vulcan, and the young mage felt that the only method to taking care of the troublesome creature was to stand up to it and fight. Despite the rather hideous battle method it chose to carry on, it was to be expected that fighting a Goblin would be easy if you were careful. If one were to grow reckless or careless with their actions, even the simplest of foes could prove to be more trouble than they are worth. In this situation, that was why the McCloud was determined to stay focused and stall the creature at the very least if not knock it out. Even if it just wanted food it's actions couldn't make up for the trouble it caused. The Goblin had to be dealt with in the same matter and fashion as the Vulcan had to be, and that was what the raven haired girl was going to follow through with.

The hit to the side of the head successfully landed with ease, the creature letting out a shriek of pain before it fell to the side. Clutching the region as it shivered in pain, Brielle couldn't help but sigh in a slight show of sympathy. All it wanted was some food but it didn't approach the need in a reasonable matter. Within a few moments, the creature than arose to its feet and growled. It clearly wasn't happy with the young girl at the moment, and the way it charged at the young mage proved that. As it began a series of rolls, clawing, and attempts to deal damage to the girl. After a bit of two attempts, it managed to land a hit square on the girl's shoulder causing her to cringe in pain. That certainly was going to hurt in the morning... In response, Brielle focused on the Goblin and made contact with it by placing an index finger on the creature before disappearing with it in a technicolored, wave-like matter in the shape of an orb.

It was within another moment that the Goblin was thrusted forth and making contact with a nearby tree, Brielle surging forth in the opposite direction and sliding across the ground. A slight dust trail was left behind but scratch marks could be made out on the raven haired mages face from the struggle within the orb that was no longer existent. Rubbing her face in a bit to lessen the pain, Brielle began running towards the creature in an attempt to catch it off guard.

Disorientated from Brielle's spell, the goblin was no match for her spells, unable to react in almost any way as it just tried to get it's bearings back. The same went for the Vulcan, who tried with all of it's strength to push the rocks off it's feet. It let out sounds of incredible sadness, wailing in defeat as it realized the situation it was in. Eli couldn't help but look away, it was just too much for him. He didn't like picking on the weak, and right now it felt like they were doing just that. However no matter how he tried to argue it, it had to be done. If they didn't teach it a lesson now, it would try this again and make their entire time here pointless. They needed to teach it to stay clear of the train tracks at least. Unable to dodge with it's feet bound to the ground, the vulcan tried to block Emilia's attack but failed horribly, Trauma smashing into it's too arms with the downward swing. The beast cried out in pain, it's body starting to shake. It seemed to be dwindling on the edge of consciousness currently, and was completely at their mercy.

Eli looked at Emilia, his face clearly showing his distaste for the situation now. He hadn't expected the creature to give in soon fast. He expected it to fight more, but it seemed to him at least to be accepting it's fate rather quickly. "Emi, it's locked down and clearly beaten, I think we should leave it be now and focus on moving that tree trunk, don't you agree?" He really did feel anything more to the vulcan at this point was just brutality. The beast had definitely earned his pity, and he couldn't bring himself to do this much longer. He turned to watch Brielle's engagement with the Goblin, proud to see that she was handling herself fine, even if it was a simple goblin. Maybe he had too little faith in the girl after all.

Emi heard Trauma slam into the creature's arms. Afterwards, she brought Trauma back up to hold it in front of her in an idle stance. She stood watching it for a moment and shook her head. This was pathetic. She was used to vulcans putting up a good fight, but this one gave no challenge. That was probably why it and the goblin had resorted to blocking the railroad to try to get food. With a press of a button on the handle, Trauma shortened back to its one-handed length. She put it back on her belt and grabbed her shield. These fools had certainly learned their lesson at least, and wouldn't be causing any problems again. The vulcan would probably recover, and Emilia doubted Brielle would cause too much damage to the goblin. This had wound up a pretty boring mission. She looked at Eli and nodded. "Yup, this was kind of sad. But at least they'll stay away from the railroad," She turned and looked at the vulcan. "Right? Here's a tip for you, don't try to mess with humans. We're definitely not worth your time." She did feel a bit bad for beating on the pair, but they really should have known that they weren't going to get away with it. They brought it upon themselves. Hopefully this would be enough for them to learn not to try such acts in the future.

She looked over to Brielle, a bit surprised the girl was willing to beat on a small thing like a goblin. She really didn't seem the type. She handled herself alright, then again, it was against a goblin. She walked over to the tree trunk and put her foot on it, pushing to see how heavy it was.

It was almost difficult to believe that such a small creature could cause quite the amount of trouble. Then again, it was with a Vulcan... With a hardened expression clouding her features, the young mage wasted not a moment before retracting her arm and balling up her fist, making contact with the Goblin as it had just recovered from the previous attack. Watching the creature tumble and turn along the soil, it was that moment the raven haired maiden took to catch her breath. It was a rather lightweight creature so it was impressive to observe just how far it had gone. Her fingers curling around her knees - bending over to steady her breathing - Brielle straightened herself after a moment or two before steadily making her way to the Goblin. It hadn't moved from its spot on the ground after she had punched it right in the face, albeit slight twitching indicated that it wasn't departed from the world of the living as of yet.

A relieved sigh escaping the young mage's lips at the details in view, the mistake was made of letting her guard down. Within that moment, the creature had jumped up onto its fight with a sickeningly hideous growl. The sight of its now swollen cheek caused Brielle's eyes to widen before the nuisance propelled itself at her way. With an instinctive reflex, the raven haired girl let out a squeal as a hand swung to the side slapping the Goblin hard on the cheek before it was sent rolling along the ground before finally coming to a stop. The McCloud was simply left standing her ground in shock, her ocean blue eyes widened from the element of surprise that the Goblin had proven to offer mere moments ago. "W-Why? Why? Why...?" That was the only word that uttered from the girl's mouth before she turned to where the Goblin had landed, squinting her eyes to look upon said creature's small body to determine whether it was knocked out or not.

Giving Emilia a moment to inspect the trunk, Eli walked over to Brielle, standing behind the girl. She seemed rather shaken at what she had done to the creature, though Eli doubted she had done anything serious at all. No offense to the girl, but she wasn't exactly a brawler. Placing a hand on her shoulder, he gave her a calming smile. "Relax Brielle, it's at best just unconscious. I don't think you did anything major to it." Deciding to emphasize his point, Eli walked over and knelt down besides the still creature, poking it in the stomach. The creature squirmed under his finger, clearly not appreciating his efforts. He turned back to Brielle, shrugging slightly. "See, it's fine. It'll recover in a few hours. You don't have any blood on your hands yet, so cheer up." Walking past Brielle, Eli ruffled her hair as he moved by. He didn't like seeing her upset and wanted to cheer her up. The best way he could think to do that was to just act normally. Anything else would probably just make it worse for her.

Joining Emilia over by the trunk, he inspected it with her. It wasn't very thick, nor heavy really. It wasn't the strongest Vulcan, so it probably found an older trunk that had deteriorated after having fallen a while ago and moved it. Working together the pair could easily get it to the side of the tracks. Standing opposite Emilia, he placed both hands on it, ready to slide it off the tracks with her. "I'll push, you pull. Ready to go?"

Emilia saw that the tree moved fairly easily. It wasn't too heavy, but moving it herself would be hard, mainly due to its size. She was glad when Eli walked over to help her, and nodded to him. She bent down and found some broken limbs she could grip. "Ready. Three. Two. One. Push." As she said "push" she started to pull her end of the log off the track. Between the two of them, they had hardly any trouble at all moving the tree. Once the task was done, Emilia clapped her gloved hands to get the dirt off of them.
"Well, now that that's done, let's head home. I'm sure the two fools can clean themselves up." She smiled and walked over to Brielle, patting her on the shoulder. "Good job kid! You've got good potential as a fighter. Don't worry about the two chumps, they'll be fine." She had fought fairly well, though for more serious threats, the girl should probably learn to use a weapon other than her fists. Yeah, one could fight with their fists, but weapons were always good to have. They gave more reach, magical abilities, potential for greater or different types of damage, and if you didn't want to use it, you could always just keep it on your belt. Maybe she could get Brielle something. Something fast would probably be best, she seemed like one to her speed to her advantage.

Job; Get Rid of That Pesky Blockade [Eli, Emilia, Brielle - Team] Empty Re: Job; Get Rid of That Pesky Blockade [Eli, Emilia, Brielle - Team]

A sudden weight to the shoulder caused Brielle to shake her head slightly in order to retract from the daze that she was slipping into. Gazing upward at the one responsible, the raven haired girl had listened to his words quietly. Once again she found herself observing Eli under different circumstances. In such a case it was out of an attempt to comfort the young mage whom was shaken up no doubt. The slight yelp from before indicated that much along with other small aspects and variables. Taking note of the elder mage's efforts, his words proving to be nothing but the truth, the young girl couldn't help but smile as a sign of appreciation for his consideration and kindness. As the young man had slipped his fingers through her locks of black hair to ruffle it, he brushed past her small form and neared the tree that had been ripped from the ground sometime ago.

The McCloud took the moment to fix her hair as an attempt to appear presentable upon returning to the guild at the very least. After all, she carried faith within Eli and Emilia to move the trunk with ease. It was at that moment that a resounding 'thump!' was heard, indicating that the task was successfully completed. Now the tracks were clear for the trains to travel to and fro without anymore trouble for the time being. It was to be hopeful that the Goblins or Vulcans wouldn't attempt to try anything again, but the levels of intelligence existing within the creatures could prove to be ridiculously troublesome. Releasing a small sigh of relief, Brielle clasped her hands together in a polite manner before Emilia had pat the girl's shoulder in approval. It was the woman's comment alone that helped boost the young mage's mood, and even helped input more confidence in her abilities after Eli's successful attempts.

Nodding in response to Emilia with a bright smile, the girl followed the two elder mages on the path back to Sabertooth. It was within the start of the walk that Brielle realized how fortunate she was to have Eli and Emilia as not only teammates, but friends as well. How the two had felt about herself was entirely within themselves. It was days like this that the raven haired girl cherished within the duration of her days at the guild, and it was with a flicker of hope that the days ahead would grow better from here on out. What would the future hold?

    Only time will tell.
