Personality: One of the best words to describe Alexei is mercurial. Everything he does is because he wants to amuse himself; if he decides that it would be more 'fun' to take an item required for a mission and use it himself, he will do so without a second thought. Unlike the usual 'fun-loving' characters, however, Alexei is very quiet. Part of this is because of his job; as a wizard who specializes in stealing and information gathering, he is very careful to not let anything about himself or his missions slip. Another part, however, is that Alexei has little to no experience in social situations. If he is part of a group conversation, he will likely drop out; he simply cannot find space to insert his opinions between others. Even in a one-on-one conversation, he comes off as awkward and disjointed. His secrecy combined with his awkwardness means that Alexei has a very difficult time meeting new people and/or making friends; as such, he often prefers solitude to having to interact with other people. Also due to this, Alexei does not have 'friends'; instead, he has 'people he likes', since his respect and admiration for individuals is not always reciprocated.
Although Alexei aims to enjoy himself, he dislikes doing so at the expense of those that he decides he likes; this is usually the one deterrent to his almost hedonistic lifestyle. Alexei is a very picky eater; although he's managed to get used to most on-the-go foods for mission purposes, he will refuse to eat most other things. Morality-wise, Alexei believes in the concept of 'moral relativity'. He believes that everybody has the right to decide for themselves whether an act is ethical in each individual situation. He will never judge somebody for the act itself, although he would get mad if the victim was a person he liked. Alexei is also quite intelligent, with a IQ that is slightly above above-average; combined with a wealth of knowledge he tends to gather as he travels, he is very strong brainpower-wise. However, he has very little patience for those who take longer to reach conclusions than he does; he gets irritated with them very quickly, which can be a problem in group missions. On the other hand, irritating him like that is the easiest way to get him to talk; despite his usually silent demeanor, he is quick to fire off an insult or two, which can lead to an actual conversation. Sexually, Alexei is the same as any other teenage boy, with crushes and attractions everywhere; the only main difference is that he is attracted primarily to personality and intelligence, and gender is a nonfactor. Like with everything, he is usually good at concealing his crushes; however, make him mad, and he'll likely let something slip.
Alexei prefers to avoid battling, if he can; after all, a wizard like him should be sneaking around rather than fighting straight up. If battle is inevitable, however, Alexei is perfectly capable of holding his own. His agility and strategy-oriented mind make up for his lack of raw power and defense; on the same token, his fluid movements in battle are the polar opposite of his awkwardness in combat. Alexei is a splendid analyst, skilled at fighting and deciphering an opponent's moves at the same time. Fitting with his somewhat self-centered and anarchist worldview, he is terrible at following directions in-battle; the fact that Alexei usually fights one-on-one does not help this at all, since he has no experience working under a leader giving commands. As a leader, he performs decently, able to quickly grasp the strengths and weaknesses of the people he commands; however, his awkwardness makes it hard for him to get commands across, so he does not perform too well in that department either. Alexei is best in combat either by himself or in a small squad; he is skilled at finding gaps in both ally and enemy formations, allowing him to fill in or exploit the gap respectively.

He usually wears a black cloak with a hood, with a simple long-sleeved shirt and pants of varying colors. - Freedom: His strongest like, Alexei hates being tied down in any way, shape, or form. Although he acknowledges the benefits of guilds and other organizations, Alexei is happiest as a free spirit.
- Intelligent Peers: Another big one for Alexei. Anybody who can keep up with Alexei's thought processes and conclusions immediately earns his respect; often, these are the people he decides he likes.
- Solitude: As stated in the Personality section, Alexei enjoys spending time by himself.
Dislikes:
- Groups and Crowds: Just as Alexei enjoys spending time on his own, he hates being forced to mingle with others. Often, he'll only participate if it's part of a job that leads to something more entertaining; even then, he'll perform the bare minimum necessary and then make some excuse to get out.
- Stupid People: Stupid people here is defined as "anybody dumber than Alexei", which is a fairly large group. This dislike is one of the main reasons Aleksei has a hard time making friends.
- Boredom: This is by far the dislike that permeates most through Alexei's mind. Everything he does is an attempt to escape from what he defines as "the endless monotony of the mundane".
Motivations:
- Self-Amusement: This is fundamentally similar to Alexei's dislike of boredom; as stated above, he will do anything and everything he can to escape monotony.
- Hedonism: Well, not exactly hedonism. Alexei aims to enjoy life to the fullest, similar to hedonists; however, unlike the traditional hedonist, he is not completely uncaring of the results of his actions.
- Searching out Peers: This is something Alexei looks out for while he does other things. He is constantly on the lookout for people who are similar to him, trying to escape the boredom of life; when he finds one, they usually share a moment before moving on in their mission.
Fears:
- Monotony: As stated in the previous two sections, Alexei despises monotony and routines, doing everything he can to stave it off.
- Loss of Drive: This is fundamentally connected to Monotony. Alexei is terrified of one day losing his passion and drive, becoming an empty person who just goes through the motions of life.
- Dying Forgotten: This is Alexei's most closely guarded fear, due to it's contradiction with the personality everybody around him sees. Deep down, Alexei wants people to remember him after he passes; this is part of why Alexei makes a big deal out of his self-amusement.
