Exploring the City of Festivals [Social]

It was a sunny day in Magnolia, but the thoughts in Alexei Sarona's head were anything but. It was far too hot in this place, he had decided within a few minutes of arriving. Plus, the pollen in the air from all the local flora was immensely disturbing his sinuses. He'd only arrived a short while ago, during the height of midday; even though it was now evening, the dipping sun did nothing to help the heat. At least he had a decent reason for coming here, unlike half of the places he usually ended up at. This place was supposed to have many more celebrations than the other major towns, which would help him stave off boredom. None of those celebrations were happening at the moment, but there were other things he could do in the meantime. A Guildless Wizard like him was always on the search for jobs, and he had received a few good leads from sources saying that there were decent ones in the area.

Of course, now he had to find said jobs. Taking a look around, Alexei's discerning eyes picked out a tavern from the rows of shops and restaurants. "Seems like as good a place as any..." he muttered under his breath, changing course. Pulling open the doors, he stepped inside and began to take stock of his surroundings.

Ni-Ju sat at the back of the "Golden Frog" tavern, enjoying a delicious iced beverage after his harrowing journey from Hargeon Town. Looking around the packed tavern, Ni-Ju noticed a new fellow enter through the doors and was hit with the realization that his was the only open table. In a gentlemanly fashion, Ni-Ju motioned to one of the open chairs at his table.

Conrad staggered through the streets, the hot sun killing his buzz. Looking for a new place to drink, when he stumbled upon the the "The Golden Frog", he walked through the door way to drunk to stand. The place was packed, when he suddenly spotted Ni-Ju sitting at a nice open table."Ni-Ju old buddy of mine if i join you for a croak" Conrad said laughing under his breath.

Out of the corner of his eye, Alexei caught a boy motioning to an open seat next to him. Pretending not to notice, he finished his scan of the room, realizing that there were no other open seats. Glancing at the boy again, he realized that he couldn't be much older than Alexei was; one, maybe two years at the most. Could he be one of the people with the jobs? he wondered. He did motion me over...he's kind of young for it, though. Alexei was always bad at socializing with people his own age; at least, worse than usual. Still, if he thought of the boy strictly as a client, he shouldn't have too much of an issue with it. Making his way over to the boy, he adjusted his cloak, took the seat, and uttered a soft, "Hello." He noticed another man walking up towards them, too drunk to stand, and ignored him; this man likely wouldn't respond favorably to him right now, anyway.

Nightken was walking around Magnolia is his usual wyvern scale bar-tender suit getting groceries and some browsing. It didn't take him vary long to get everything on the large list of things, just so he isn't having to carry all of the groceries he used his Cursed Seal to store the food in the dimensional vortex. While walking around he decided to stop in at the "Golden Frog" tavern. It was rather packed, looking around he saw the only open table with someone waving in his direction and saw Conrad walk by heading to the table with someone else. Walking to the table he took one of the empty seats. "Pretty packed in here. Hi I'm Nightken of Fairy Tail it is nice to meet both of you. How have you been Conrad?" He said introducing himself to the group.

Ni-Ju greeted each newcomer in kind, watching as his table suddenly filled. "Nice to meet you folks. My name is Ni-Ju by the way." He said taking another sip of his drink. " What happens to bring you all to the city of festivals?"

"I'm here to drink!!!!!" Conrad yelled while standing up, then he slowly shambled back down to his seat."Hi everybody i'm Conrad by the way, for those who don't know" Conrad said slurring every other word.

Alexei eyed the other two newcomers carefully. One of them had said he was from Fairy Tail, and he had addressed the drunk one as if he was a companion. Were they both wizards, then? Were they trying to take the job as well? It certainly wouldn't be fun if he got cheated out of a job. It would be best to move cautiously for now. "I'm Saron," he said quietly, pointing to himself for emphasis as he casually used his mission pseudonym. "I'm here for work."
