(DUEL) Cold Chaos

Now that both his guild and Nox had formed an alliance, Shaku wanted to see if the average member of Nox Animus was battle ready with a fight. That, and all of the jobs that Mel asked him to do were getting real old, real fast. He had sent a message so any Nox Animus mage to meet him at particular coordinates in the Mysterious Canyon. All the necessary precautions had been taken to make sure that this practice round stayed only between him and whoever took up his challenge. And I wonder who that will be... what kind of magic they'll have. Hopefully they aren't too rude, as is the case with most dark mages. From Savage Skull at least, anyways he thought while sitting in the canyon, waiting for a stranger by himself.

Shaku didn't have to wait long for the whoever would be dispatched to arrive. It was a girl, and a tall one at that. She seemed to wear less than revealing clothes despite her looks, which interested Shaku a bit, but he didn't think asking her would be too polite seeing as how she is from his partner guild. He stood up and greeted the silver haired woman. "Hello, I'm from Tartarus. You can call me The Don. I would like to give you my real name, but my guild master is a paranoid man" he told her before looking down at her feet and tracing her body all the way up to her face, seeing if there was anything he could tell from her right away. The air was cold around her, a key feature of an ice magic user, and he was familiar with those. Before his brother was the borderline god of Ishval status, he was an ice make mage, and a dammed skilled one at that. He always did do whatever he decided to do to the maximum point.

She also had silver hair, like her brother. Another coincidence. She seemed closer to being his sister than he seemed to being his brother which made Shaku chuckle a bit, probably confusing the woman who didn't know why she was even here. "It's funny, you remind me of my brother. You wouldn't happen to be an ice make mage would you? Haha! Though you look a little upset, so I guess you want me to cut to the chase, the reason I called you out here. Well, honestly I was looking for a fight and who better to fight than a member of my partner guild. I wanted to see what power the average member of Nox Animus had to offer to Tartarus, and I'm sure you wouldn't object to seeing what the average member of Tartarus is capable of. So I issue you a challenge, stranger. A duel"

With a scoff she formed a grin over her face. He called her out here to fight him, to size up the power of Nox Animus. That was interesting really, if she knew that, then she would have been here sooner. Sara watched as he seemed to figure he out completely with just a look. He knew she was an Ice Mage, but that was obvious, as the cold seemed to fog off around her. But why did he compare her to his brother? Was he an Ice Make mage as well? Sara just brushed it aside.
" If it is a Duel you want, than you shall get it."

With that, she stepped off to make the first move. She was taught by her brother to get in a hit wherever and whenever you can, not to hesitate; as that just gives your opponent time to read your attacks. He already knew what magic she used though, so this was going to be interesting.

As she stepped with her right foot, magic circles appeared over her hands and with that, large chunks of Ice grew over her fingers and formed into claws. With another step, they grew large and stronger, reaching up to her elbows as they were like gauntlets over her flesh. These claws extended 5 inches off of her own fingers, and enabled a longer reach.

Taking advantage that he stood direct in front of her, she leaped off her her next step and swung her legs across to aim a high kick at his jawline. If he blocked it like she wanted him too, her next move would land a slice with her left claw across his face, as her left hand trailed right behind her foot.

The girl didn't seem particularly chatty and her speech was a bit formal for his tastes. She also dressed the part of some kind of military commander. Shaku wondered why. Was she actually a commander of Nox Animus? Maybe. The possibility was definitely there, but he decided it might be a better to ask her after the fight, or during, do distract her. He was sure that her looks helped her fight sleazy men or just that gender in general, as they would most likely get distracted by her quite jarring looks, but not Shaku. Thanks to his magic, he had a focus that would be rivaled only by an archive mage or one who controlled multiple elements at once. She's stepping off, I guess it's time to begin... he started thinking before casting his first spell with a simple blink of his eyes. Infernal Eyes! the spell was thought and so it happened, the white of his eyes being completely replaced by red with a grey ring around his pupil and what appeared to be three black commas attached to it.

She didn't hesitate with her first strike after she cast her first spell. Claws of ice were created on her arms and he smirked, maybe she is an ice make mage after all. If she is, she'll be a bit disappointed of my knowledge of that magic he thought as Zenshin came to mind. From before he was the guildmaster, he was one of the strongest ice makers in the family, surpassing even their own father. Shaku chose a different route of magic. A kick came in what seemed like slow motion while he looked at it and then he looked back up and saw that her other arm was trailing to get him should he choose to block it, but he wouldn't. Shaku would drop to one and ducked his head while calling upon a power in his blood to summon an ethereal long sword in his right hand before thrusting it upwards, aiming for her stomach as he said something to the woman. "Has anyone ever told you how pretty you are"

Shaku was a bit disappointed when the woman who had yet to introduce herself refused to acknowledge his compliment on her appearance. "Well that's a little mean, not even thanking me. But Im sure most guys do and you knock them out, or they're too scared. I mean you, you're quite attractive, if a little intimidating" he said after he drove his sword into her gut. When he did though, she did something unexpected. Using her strength of will or whatever she would tell herself to justify such a stupid move, the ice demon slayer grabbed his arm and inhaled. At point blank range, she did a move that would out her magic to him. So she's an ice slayer... not the dragon slayer, Zen hates that guy Reiki. Demon slayer maybe? It would explain her affinity with a dark guild and her lust for battle he thought in the time it took her to finish inhaling and use her breath attack at him. If she wants to play the endurance game, she's going to lose. I don't need a slayer's strength to be able to take a little bit of pain he thought with a smile before ducking his head and letting the razor sharp ice sharps tear up his back and frost up his hair.

Upon completing her breath attack, however, she tried to back off from him, to which he responded with grabbing her arm as she let go of his, moving with her backwards momentum. "It's going to take more than a little hurt to scare me off" he said with a smile before quickly standing up and driving his weapon deeper into her stomach before the hilt touched it, after which he would place his foot next to the hilt and push her away with his foot, releasing his weapon quickly and brutally.
