Magic
Primary Magic: Orochi's Curse
Secondary Magic:
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description:
The first notable detail of the Orochi's Curse is that it is in no way magic. Although they do similar things and rely on similar power, the Orochi's Curse is, in fact, a curse. Curses can still be effected by things that absorb or reflect magic, due to the fact that they rely on magic power, but the difference between a magic and curse are clear. Curses turn the user into a demon, and use different form of magic power known as demonic magic power. These differences are primarily aesthetic however, and curses are not any more powerful than magic. The Orochi's Curse is a curse that allows the user to permanently become a snake demon, as well as make contracts with, as well as summon, demonic snakes, most notably the Orochi himself. The Orochi grants this curse to a human in exchange for the chance to wreck havoc on the mortal world. To summon a snake the user places their hand on a surface, or in rare cases, the air, and the summoning sign of the Orochi appears (shown above). The summon is then summoned from this symbol.
Hydra uses the snake demon form to it's greatest potential, using the snake like appendage he gains from it as his primary form of melee fighting. It has a small pouch within it for storing an unbelievable amount of objects, from day to day items to weapons, and the appendage also serves as a portal to the Orochi's domain. When Hydra as near dispatched an enemy (with NPC's has done the correct amount of hits required to eliminate an enemy) he has the ability to 'swallow' them with his appendage sending them to be a sacrifice to Orochi. Hydra utilizes his summons as well, commanding them with great strength and utilizing their unique powers to torture his opponent as much as possible while efficiently taking them out. Of course his sadistic nature can take hold sometimes, and he will use his snakes to intimidate or even flat out terrify his opponents before actually fighting.

Of course his sadistic nature can take hold sometimes, and he will use his snakes to intimidate or even flat out terrify his opponents before actually fighting.
Strengths:
- Hydra technically doesn't need to fight himself as the summons could deal with opponents.
- Hydra gains a demonic form due to use of this curse. With this he gains a snake like appendage and all the benefits (sacrificing, melee, storage) that come with it.
- Hydra gains the ability to summon various demonic snakes. These snakes have a wide range of unique abilities for all situations, both in battle and out of battle.
- Hydra gains snake like senses, including the ability to sense air vibrations, the ability to increase his smelling capabilities through sticking out his tongue, and the ability to see heat.
Weaknesses:
- More powerful summons prevent Hydra from lifting his hand off the summoning sign.
- The summons can't be summoned while in cold climates, unless stated otherwise.
- As the curse turns the user into a demon, they suffer a weakness to demon slayer magic.
- The user has obligations for this magic. There must be IC accounts of defeating demon snakes and creating contracts with them in order for them to be summoned (with the exception of the starting summons)
- Every job, the user must sacrifice a human to the Orochi utilizing the snake appendage. Regardless of this, the user must also sacrifice an enemy for every round of monster dice. This process takes up 10 IC seconds, in which the user can't attack or move.
Abilities/Powers:
- Didn't I Cut Those Off?: This magic gives the user the ability to regrow limbs. This is a complicated process and can't be used during battle or other involving moments (while running from an enemy for example). This only applies to his arms, legs, and snake appendage however, not his body or head.
- Ooh, That Tickled: As a human with the abilities of both a snake and a demon, the user of this magic resists both darkness and poison based magic.

- Orochi Lvl. 1:
- Name: Orochi Lvl. 1
Rank: D
Type: Offensive Fire Summon- appearance:
Strengths:- This summons fiery demeanor allows it to ignore the (can't be summoned in cold climates rule).
- The Orochi is more resilient than other summons, requiring 4 D-Rank hits.
- This summon can use both it's spell and melee attacks (biting and constricting).
- Against Ice spells the Orochi resists only takes .8 damage (requires 5 D-Rank hits)
Weaknesses:- Water and non-flame demon slaying magic deal twice the normal amount of damage (2 C-Rank hits from those types).
- The Orochi can still be trapped by physical boundaries, i.e. rock walls, and a completely completely enclosing it within a physical boundary that you are outside of would render it completely useless, as it has no way of breaking out.
- Due to the necessity of having something solid for the insignia to be formed on, shifting ground like snow and sand prevent this snake from being summoned. Similarly, if the ground where the summoning sign is located is destroyed the Orochi is sent back and the symbol disappears.
- While this summon is active, Hydra physically can't move his hand from the summoning insignia. It's almost as if it is stuck there by some adhesive. He can still pivot around it and fight, but whatever hand he uses for the insignia can't be taken off the ground.
- Despite being very resilient, the snake doesn't like to stay in the human world for extended amounts of time. (2 post duration, 6 post cooldown)
- Orochi Beam:
Name: Orochi Beam
Rank: D
Type: Fire
Description: The Orochi, due to only having one head in this form, can only use the fire variant of this spell. The snake opens it's mouth wide and spews forth a 2 foot wide beam of flames, leaving fire in it's wake, and burning a hole in burnable objects wide enough for the Orochi to slither through.
Strengths:- Can burn through ice, wood, wax, or any other flammable material, allowing the Orochi to travel through the resulting hole.
- Leaves a streak of flames in it's wake. Unless an individual can walk over flames, or can fly this proves to be an obstacle.
- Has a range of 10 feet.
Weaknesses:- The Orochi's flames are useless against fire based slayers, as they can simply eat it.
- Can be stopped by earth magic of any kind and level except if it is, for whatever reason, burnable earth magic.
- Harms anything in the path, enemy, ally, or even Hydra.
- Can be stopped by water magic of any kind of magic and level.
- Only travels in a straight line.

- Binding Snakes:
Name: Binding Snakes
Rank: D
Type: Offensive/Supportive- appearance:
The user creates a small Orochi summoning symbol at the tip of the finger. This can be thrown, placed on a surface, or used on Hydra's own person. From this sign, many snakes are summoned. Although the snakes appear to be simple 6 inch black snakes, they are demons, like all of the other summons from this curse. They actually have a magical energy about them that slows people they come in contact with. They slither towards their enemy, and if not guarded against, will wrap around one of their joints tightly, sink in their teeth, and become completely static.
Strengths:- Hydra can summon up to 15 black snake-esque demon snakes from this one sign at one time, but during the span of the summon, can have a maximum of 20. Meaning if 5 are killed, he can create another 5.
- For every snake that is on a singular person, they are slowed by 1%.
- The bites that the snakes do don't deal damage alone, but do provide something to distract the enemy.
- This particular sign can be thrown and there for, unless the opponent doges the sign, snakes can be summoned already upon the enemy. They can still be killed before they bind themselves however.
Weaknesses:- The snakes can be defeated individually with two hits of D-Rank damage per snake.
- When against demon slaying or ice magic, it only takes 1 hit of D-Rank damage to down these snakes.
- They have barely any offensive capabilities (barring the spell below).
- The sign must be on a solid state of matter, and not a fragmented one (can't exist in the air, on water, on sand or snow, etc.). If the area it is on is broken or split in half, the snakes are sent back and the sign disappears.
- The sign is relatively easy to doge if thrown, as it is only 3 inches in diameter and moves in a straight line, and it moves at a maximum speed of 40 mph.

- Petrify:
Name: Petrify
Rank: D
Type: Supportive
Description: If five snakes are on the opponent, this move is possible. Black, snake shaped markings begin to spread all over the target's body. The markings feel almost as if real snakes are slithering across the victim's body, giving an extremely eerie feeling. The opponent can't move while this spell is in use, leaving them open for an attack or preventing them from attacking.
Strengths:- Causes complete immobilization when used, leaving the victim open for attacks or preventing them from attacking.
- Quite intimidating through most enemies, due to the feeling of snakes slithering across their body.
- Can't be avoided once the opponent has been trapped by at minimum 5 snakes
Weaknesses:- The spell can't be used if there are 4 or less snakes on the opponent.
- When the spell ends, the snakes that were used for the spell can't be used again for the duration of the summon.
- The spell ends if anyone physically attacks the person who is bound with the intent to deal damage.
- The spell ends if another mage uses an ice or demon slaying spell on the victim, and the victim is unharmed.

- Contort:
Name: Contort
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Description: If five snakes are on the opponent, this move is possible. Black, snake shaped markings begin to spread all over the target's body. The markings feel almost as if real snakes are slithering across the victim's body, giving an extremely eerie feeling. From here the markings glow red and the user's spine saps backwards and their arms are pulled in the wrong direction. This is a sudden and shocking move, but only deals D rank damage.
Strengths:- Is a sudden and unexpected move, with even enemies who have seen this curse before not being able to initially discern it from the Petrify spell.

- Sensory Snake:
Name: Sensory Snakes
Rank: D
Type: Offensive/Supportive- appearance:
The user creates an extremely miniature summoning sign at the tip of their pink. Out slithers a 1/2 inch puny snake that can change colors. This snake can act as Hydra's eyes and ears, as well as be hard to discover by others due to it's size.
Strengths:- The snake is almost impossible to spot by normal means due to size and color change.
- The snake has the normal snake senses such as heat vision, tongue smelling, and vibrational hearing, as well as specialized organs for human vision and human hearing.
- The snake can relay to Hydra everything it sees, hears, and smells.
Weaknesses:- The snake can be defeated with a single hit of anything, magical or physical
- The snake has absolutely no offensive capabilities.
- Loud noises or bright lights seen or heard by the snake are transmitted back and will effect Hydra.
- The snake can travel up to 50 ft. After this point human hearing and vision stop being transmitted, and after 75ft. nothing is transmitted.

- Sensory Link:
Name: Sensory Link
Rank: D
Type: Supportive
Description: The user sends his magic to up to five people giving them the ability to be connected to the snake as well. The people who are a part of this spell can communicate telepathically while it's active.
Strengths:- Allows up to 6 people to communicate telepathically.
- Allows others to share the benefits of the sensory snake.
- Creates a way to theoretically tap into a person's mind for interrogation purposes. Although you can't read minds, a person who hasn't been trained in telepathic communication has trouble keeping thoughts to themselves when others can hear them.
Weaknesses:- The spell can easily be tapped by other telepathic mages, and they can naturally feel the telepathic magic, alerting them to the snake's presence
- The spell can only be used once during the summoning period. This is ensured by cooldown time.
- While this spell is in use, the ranges are decreased to 30 ft and 60 ft.
- The bright lights and loud noises apply to people under the effects of this spell as well.
