Description: Crystal Curse is a colony of carbon cells that parasites certain species of primates, able to produce allotropes of carbon such as fullerenes, diamonds and graphenes, by feeding them with magical energy. They choose mage hosts due to their powerful magical energies, and parasite them, becoming strictly loyal for the hosts themselves. The host can manipulate and create carbon nano-tubes, nano-structures able to be combined into various forms with various effects, such as electricity excitement, heating processes and even nanotechnology with regenerative effects. By feeding these carbon cells with red blood cells and magical energy, they will produce "Magic Prisms" able to absorb oxygen and magical energy from the atmosphere, generating energy higher than nuclear reactors. These prisms are composed of carbon, oxygen and magical atomic bounds, and they can be used by the host as well. For example, they can use this energy to become technically immortal by excluding the need for oxygen, making the necessity of antioxidants to avoid oxidative stress inside the cell nucleus useless. They can also use nanotechnology to regenerate lost cells, but it is a slow process. Another interesting characteristic was that by using a sentient host, these carbon cells can achieve a self, with this self being part of a hive mind with all the other carbon cells, with the host as their "queen/king". Each cell is independent from each other, with the hive mind connecting their will into a single being that obey the host. But they can get out of the hive mind if they want to, creating a being that can take over the will of the hive mind or even the host themselves if they are powerful enough. These selves can also take over dead bodies by implanting their cell membrane into the cadaver, modifying their body structure to become equal to the appearance of the host. But even with that, they are still loyal to their host, and if they take control of the host itself, their self will be destroyed and another one will be created, with the personality, emotions and conscious of the host, like an personality dissociation disorder. But rarely, one self can overcome the destruction of their will and take over everything; they will become the new host of the colony, with a new personality different from the one displayed by the original. But the host still exists, and can take over the colony as well. Dust, the actual host, was infected with these parasitic cells in her left arm, turning it into a cluster of crimson, diamond-alike scales. By manipulating these cells, she can heat up materials or even her own arm as means of attacking, regenerate and strengthen herself by using nanomachines, protect herself by producing clusters of diamond crystals around her body, and even manipulate them to create weapons just like Make Magic.
Strengths:
The crystals are very strong, able to do a greater deal of damage due to their durability.
They grant immortality, regeneration and abilities more akin to Make Magic.
Weaknesses:
Light can damage the atomic structure of the crystal, weakening their durability.
Electricity can pass directly through the crystals to the user, damaging them.
The crystals, due to their composition, are highly flammable materials.
The members of the Dust Network can technically replace the host.
Distance; the user can only use attacks in a 20x20 meter area.
Unique Abilities:
Spells:
Name: Crystal Arrow.
Rank: D.
Type: Crystal, Offensive.
Duration: 1 post.
Cooldown: 2 posts.
Description: An diamond cluster of long prisms, having the same appearance of a arrowhead, but in a greater size (almost 30x30 centimeters). The user launches one by punching the air, sending the arrowhead into a enemy in a speed of 20 mph, with an average range of 20 meters, disappearing after damaging the enemy or getting too far from the limit range. Also, the attack itself follows a straight line direction, so avoiding this attack is fairly easy, giving an disadvantage to the user themselves.
Strengths:
- It is stronger due to the diamond prisms composing it.
Weaknesses:
- It follows a straight line, giving the enemy an easy chance to avoid it.
- Also, since the crystals themselves are flammable, fire spells are stronger against it.
Name: Crystal Tear.
Rank: D.
Type: Crystal, Offensive.
Duration: 1 post.
Cooldown: 2 posts.
Description: Ten crystalline bullets that can be shoot from the fingertips of the host, acting like a hooking gun. They can be shoot at a speed of 20 mph, with a limit range of 20 per 20 meters. These bullets can only be fired in a straight line. They deal 2 HP of damage separately, with a maximum of 20 HP of damage if the bullets are fired together against the desired target.
Strengths:
- It can deal separate damage.
Weaknesses:
- It can only be fired in a straight line.
- Also, since the crystals themselves are flammable, fire spells are stronger against it.
Name: Crystal Wing.
Rank: D.
Type: Crystal, Supportive, Defensive.
Duration: 1 post.
Cooldown: 2 posts.
Description: Two crystalline, seraph wings that allows the user to hold fly. These wings can be used as both a defensive shield or a supporting construction that allows flight. The defensive shield and the wings as a whole have a weak resistance, and 20 HP of damage can destroy it. They sustain flight at a speed of 15 mph, with a limit of 15 meters from all the sides per flight time.
Strengths:
- It allows the user to fly.
- It can be used as a shield.
Weaknesses:
- Also, since the crystals themselves are flammable, fire spells are stronger against it.
- The wings are very fragile.
- They have a slow speed.
- Also a limited range.
Name: Crystal Beam.
Rank: D.
Type: Crystal, Offensive.
Duration: 1 post.
Cooldown: 2 posts.
Description: An beam of heated liquid crystal that can be used as a long range attack. The beam itself have a 10x10 cm width and have a speed of 15 mph, with an distance limit of 15 meters. Just like any long range attack, it can only be fired in a straight line.
Strenghts:
- It can burn the enemy.
Weaknesses:
- It is slower and range-limited.
- It can only be fired in an straight line.
- Also, since the crystals themselves are flammable, fire spells are stronger against it.

- Lineage:
- Victor's Descent:
Description: There once was a cannibal that used forbidden blood magic to slay and devour his victims. After many years of eating human flesh and drinking their blood through magic, it corrupted him. He could no longer live without it and needed the blood to stay refreshed and focused. When hunting new prey, Victor used his Blood Vision to track down his victims. His offspring had the same corruption in their blood, and they could use the Blood Vision. However, they did not grow the same hunger, unless they started to feed on humans.
Ability: The user can see all enemies within 100 meters in their field of view, regardless of what might be impeding their vision. By tasting someone, directly or indirectly (Licking something they touched / blood drips on the ground, ect.) they become persistently aware of the direction that person or creature is so long as they're flesh and blood.
Usage: Passive toggle on/off.
Unique Abilities:
- Immortality:
- Immortality is the ability these crystalline cells grant to the host they possess, by giving unlimited energy to their cells and thus, giving biological immortality to all the cells composing the host's body. But the host is still susceptible to damage and can still die. In short, the host can't age or get older, meaning they keep their juvenile appearance, but they can still die and be wounded.
- Regeneration:
- Regeneration, as it says, is a nanomachine culture of carbon nanotubes that can regenerate the cells of the host. But due to the speed of the construction of these cells, they can only heal 10% of the host's HP pool, and can only regenerate again after a cooldown of five posts. The host can use this ability on others, but it only heals 5% of their HP, still applying the delay.
- Prism Funnels:
- Prism Funnels are crystals residing inside the left arm of the host that can act as long-range drones, able to fly and shoot crystal bullets from its tip. They can fly at 20 mph and their maximum range is 20 meters, while the speed of the bullets themselves is the same. Their number is between two and five, with the two being small funnels (20 cm) and the five being medium funnels (30cm). Beyond 20 meters, the crystals will break due to the long distance between them and the host. All the funnels together deal the maximum rank damage, while separately they only deal 10% of damage.Cooldown Chart wrote:D-rank: 2 post.

- Ether Crystal (Unlockable at C-Rank):
- Ether Crystal allows the host to give immortality to others by implanting Magic Crystals inside their bodies. They, by no means, will acquire immortality in the sense they will not die after receiving damage. They only become unable to age due to the fact the Magic Crystals are giving them energy. Also, people implanted with these crystals are able to survive into environments without oxygen, as the crystals are furnishing them with energy. In short; replacing oxygen as a metabolic fuel.
- Dust Network (Unlockable at B-Rank):
- Dust Network is a network composing every cell compromising the entire colony, a sort of hive mind with the host as its owner. Every cell has their own will and personality, and the host can even input these into a dead body. This dead body will become a new individual, still loyal to their host even after separation. But should one of these cells identify as the host, they rarely can overcome the host and take full control over the network, becoming the new host in the process. However, the original host is also a member of the hive mind and the reverse can happen, with the original taking over the new host. This allows the user to create a unlimited number of NPCs, but rarely they can be used as sacrifices or as fighting decoys because of their own set of personalities and egos. They are more like friends than slaves, and they will not sacrifice themselves if they don't want to.
- Telepathy Link (Unlockable at S-Rank):
- Telepathy Link allows the host to create a telepathic link with others by implanting microscopic crystals inside their brain. This is possible due to the fact the hive mind can create certain radio waves to communicate with each other, including the host, allowing them to telepathically hold conversation with others, as long they have these microscopic crystal installed inside their brain. But due to the size of the crystals, the telepathic link will cease if the host is more than 50 meters away from them.
- Biosensor (Unlockable at H-Rank):
- Biosensor is a small cluster of nanomachines able to transform the will of the host into physical phenomena. By generating physical phenomena via their will, with the appearance of a green aura surrounding their body, the host can boost all their physical and magical attributes by 50% for a limit of 4 posts. In exchange, the host will lose -50% of the attributes they boosted for 20 posts, and they will suffer extreme fatigue and physical exhaustion, alongside stress-induced headache.
