The Museum

"Tag! You're it..!" Sonya taps her friend, Luna, on her arm. "You're turn to count..!" But before Luna could say a word in protest, Yuna rushes off into the woods in a fit of giggles. Where to hide now?

After a while of running as far away as she could, Yuna stopped to catch her breath. She quickly spotted and headed for a tree, but before she could sit down and enjoy the late evening scenery for a while, she spotted a small squirrel running around. "Squirrel!!!" She squeeled with delight. Yuna began to chase the tiny squirrel around and not before long, the squirrel jumped behind a bush and disappeared. Yuna was left in the woods...alone...and in the dark...

Scared and frightened, she begins to wander the woods until she reaches an oldish looking building. The building rose majestically from the ground and the atmosphere around it was both dark and mysterious. "Museum!" Yuna yelled as she ran towards the building's door completely disregarding the 'closed' sign largely displayed on the door, her fear long forgotten. She stepped into the museum, but there appeared to be not a soul in sight for obvious reasons although Yuna was not aware of that small fact. Where was everyone? Yuna gave a light shrug and began to explore the treasure within...

Ethan was walking through the park in a relaxed posure as he occasionly waved at random passerbys who cheered at the sight of him. He felt he had sort of adjusted to the fame as he was greeted with the greatest respect daily whether he actually worked or not. Personal requests often flew his way as he was regarded as one of the more Intellectual members of the guild and was as such often approached for more "Delicate" matters around the city.

Today he had been asked to look over the exhibit of the new museum which was to open next week. The owner had approached him as he knew of Ethan's interest in ancient cultures. Ethan had agreed and was given a key to the museum. He was told to come in whenever he felt like it and look things over, that would be now.

He saw the building and was a bit amased by how old it looked. It had a strong victorian feel to it and looked next to ancient compared to the rest of the city. He approached the door and realised the door was in fact already open. Did someone forget to lock? He immidieatly questioned the choice of staff until he actually heard footsteps from inside. As if someone was running in there. He immidieatly went inside and tried to locate the intruder as he went further inside. "Whoever you are, could you please just come out? I really don't feel like chasing anyone today so i'd really appreciate it" He didn't really care for who had slipped inside but he felt like he had to at least assure there wasn't anything serious going on.

The crescent moon hung over head as Daemon crept quietly through the museum halls. He was commissioned by the an art collector to acquire a certain piece that the fool wanted for his collection. In truth Daemon was going to give the guy a fake and keep the original for himself. "Now where are you hiding my dear ?" He asked himself as he headed over to the art wing of the museum.

Yuna was currently wandering through the security room touching and poking at anything that caught her attention. She clicked buttons and played with the video cameras to keep herself entertained. After a while, a big, red button laid underneath a protective piece of plastic caught Yuna's attention. She stared at the button with a hard, thoughtful look. What did the button do? Her finger neared it, and just as she was about to press it, she quickly withdrawed her hand. She had just remembered what happened to people who pressed big, red buttons in movies. Everything went KA-BOOM. But...but the button was so tempting. Yuna held her breath, closed her eyes, and quickly pressed the it. Click. A simple beep filled room and then... there was nothing.

With a click of a button, Yuna had disabled all of the laser beams and extra security measurements placed around the displays. But to this, she had no knowledge of. Yuna became bored of the buttons and began to move around the cameras. She looked at the t.v. screens when she saw that the cameras captured two people inside the museum. Both of which were located at different ends of the museum. One was walking around while the other looked like they were playing some sort of game. I want to play too, she thought happily and so off she went in search of the thief.
