A Guildmasters Request || GUILD EVENT~

Sitting on her bar stool, she ordered a strong drink, words still muttered behind her. She wanted to prove to those that put faith in her, but she wasn't sure if she trusted herself. Kariline gulped down that strong liquor and smiled as it soothed her throat. Then as she set the glass down on the table, the earth rumbled under her feet. It was soft, and you could almost miss it, but she had felt that quiver many times over. She furrowed her brows and spun on the bar stool.

Her eyes were red with anger and fury at the old man. " You cursed old man!" She said as she walked up to him with a fire behind her. A dark painful, and powerful aura erupted around her as she looked him in the eye, she wanted to punch him in the gut for this stunt. " Why?! Was this one of your tests? To tell us how pathetically ill-prepared we are?!" In her frustration she turned away from him and walked away. She had to calm down before reviewing specific details of her mission. A part of her was glad he was back, and a part of her wished that he wouldn't have played this cruel joke on them.

Thinking over what the guild said, did most of them really look up to her like they said they did? She smiled at that thought, If it came down to it, she would prove to them that they can place their trust and faith into her. Kariline sat again at the bar, " Welcome back Zuo, now you can clean up the mess..."

Upon hearing the old man's voice, Talen's heart skipped a beat. He had thought that he would never again hear Zuo Cii's voice, and hearing him say that he was here to stay filled Talen with mixed emotions. Unfortunately, the strongest among them was anger. How could he put the guild through this, Talen thought to himself, can't he see the chaos that he caused? Talen reached for his keys, ready to attack Zuo Cii in rage. "Gate of the Gambler, I open thee, Melissa!" Melissa entered the human world through the doorway that Talen had oened, however, instead of attacking Zuo like Talen had wanted her to, she smacked him in the back of the head. "What was that for?!" Talen asked rubbing his head. "For being stupid." Melissa answered simply. "Do you really think that your guild master meant to cause all of this?" "So what?" Talen snapped back, "He still caused it." "Talen, take a breath and think." Talen reluctently listened to the spirit and took a calming breath. Zuo woud never do somthing that he beleaved would harm the guild, so was he testing us? Seeing how we would react.

Talen gave Melissa a slight smile before sending her back to the spirit world. She was like his sister, and would often times help him with problems such as this. Talen took another deep breath before nodding his head towards Zuo Cii, "A pleasure to have you back."

Kaseki walked in from the doorway. He watched the confusion unravel. What happened here? He saw the faces of these people, those he met before, and those he met elsewhere. He saw he tears, the anger, the anguish. He wondered if his choice of a guild was the best. Maybe he was needed, maybe he could help them all... Just maybe they could help him.

Kaseki tried not to look anyone in the eye, he knew he didn't belong. These people, so many emotions... I can feel it all here. It's strong. He looked around at the assorted weapons, the garments worn and the obvious mages. They all have weapons and magics... I don't. I'm weak... I'm nothing. He looked up at the strange old man. The people he passed on the way in left in anger and dismay. But why? What did Kaseki miss?

Kaseki looked up and saw the old man. He must be the guildmaster... Perhaps he can help me. Kaseki had stayed silent. Then he said a single word.

"Dojinai."
