Guild Event: Switcheroo

It was a typical day in Magnolia with the Fairy Tail guild being its usual loud self. Nightken was out in the guildhall with everyone else having a good time just hanging out with them. "This is a good way to relax just being with friends and having a good time." He said aloud as the guild got louder.

The guild certainly was certainly its loud and rowdy self today...and things were only bound to get louder 


“How’s the weather down there, Kid?” One of the really tall and brawny members mocked as he sat down next to a girl at the guild's bar.  No doubt that she was small in stature for a girl her age. She had just turned 17 a few days ago, and stood at 5”1. The girl’s dark blue eyes seemed to glimmer as she blinked at him narrowly. “Wow you’re tall? Forget me; How's the weather wayyy up there, partly bitchy? Go sign up for a basketball tournament or an Asshole's Weekly subscription, ya giant-lookin' mother*****r.“ She bit back, smooth but angrily.

A grimace twisted his features. Guess she hit a couple nerves because the next thing she knew he was swinging a blow at her which should have shattered her jaw, only the brunette was no longer there. She was standing a good three feet away, as their first connected with an abandoned drink instead and sent it soaring across the guild’s bar to strike the opposite wall in a shower of shattering glass.

The mage ducked as a bar stool came at flying her, brushing over her  by mere centimeters and breaking against the wall behind her which was still soaked with alcohol.  Teeth bared and fists clenched, The buff mage flung himself at her again- but she was gone
The Sapphire-eyed teen was standing on the bar; feet planted wide apart and her hands at her hips, resting at the rim of her long skirt. She looked like that of an heroine getting ready to dispatch divine justice from on high, Like she should be out doing…  or at least something more productive than brawling at the bar.  She reached out a hand and curled her fingers towards herself, quickly, a gesture which whispered Come and get me- and he rushed at her again, two of his buddies joining in.

They swarmed up onto the counter; Rita spun so quickly that her reflection in the mirror behind the bar seemed to blur. You saw her kick out, and then the trio groaning on the floor in a flurry of smashed glass.

“---Anyone else wanna try me?!?!” She growled loud enough for the whole guild to hear, the vein in her forehead throbbing comically.

“---Anyone else wanna try me?!?!" A young boy clad in blue, not even matching Rita in height fell from the ceiling. He landed on a number of his fellow guild-mates but quickly jumped off them and onto a nearby table. Simon pointed at Rita over the heads of his guild mates "I'll happily go a round with you!" Small tufts of blue flame flickered on his body, a fact he was not even aware of. Upon closer inspection some one may notice that some tufts of his hair seemingly melded into feathers at their end, a fact Simon had recently noticed but paid little attention too. His grin was excited and he was seriously pumped to throw down, regardless of who his foe was. He felt heat building up behind his eyes a now familiar sensation that clued him in that the phoenix had too much power stocked up.

He had power and if he didn't use it, he was gonna make a mess.

A young male with long rainbow coloured hair entered the bar with a look of dissastisfaction and annoyance on his face. His eyes were glowing a faint blue, a clear sign he was getting angry. He was not the most powerful of mages and in all honesty most of the mages here could probably wipe the floor with him. However, he was good friend's with Ebony and well liked within the guild because he was a cook and a thumping good 'un at that. Nobody liked to upset a good cook. They could make life...unpleasent in oh so many ways. Not that Shiraz would of course. That would be an insult...to the food. Plus the results wouldn't be beautiful and he hated things that weren't beautiful. He saw that one of the people in the bar was infact the aforementioned Ebony and that she seemed pretty pissed. He could see why. There was a pie dish on the floor. That wasn't good. Ebony was one of the mage's here who was most likely to be able to wreck the guild. Her magic was very powerful and quite destructive. He also noted Simon. Not a mage he had worked with, but one he knew of from reputation. Another powerful mage who looked ready for a fight, but wasn't particularly angry. He just wanted to fight.

He recognised the others as well. The Sapphire Shadow herself, a B rank mage if he recalled, was looking very pissed and ready for a fight. This wasn't good. A former guildmaster, an A rank mage and a B rank mage. All with rather destructive magics. And those three were about to brawl? Not good. Not good at all. His own anger subsided as he thought about not just the guild hall, but the surrounding town.

"Fairies please be calm. I am sure whatever has happened can be resolved without unwarranted destruction." he called out. At least, he sincerely hoped so. "How about I get everyone a drink and something sweet to eat?"

Blue was seated at a long table, half sprawled out over the top of it with his head down. His stomach was growling something fierce. Turns out? Not having enough Jewels to afford food did that to a person. "Stop being a bum, Blue!" His Exceed partner Lucky spoke, seated next to his head and as indifferent as ever. The walking/talking cat was hungry as well, but he didn't get like his Dragon Slayer companion did on an empty stomach. The lad only gave an irate, "Ugh..." in response. It was just one of those days, I guess.

"How's the weather down there, kid?"

Then...well...that happened. Words that echoed in Blue's mind over and over. His head comically grew larger and larger with every passing second. The kid was relatively new to Fairy Tail, but word HAD to have gotten out about his short height and even shorter temper. Either this guy didn't know who he was talking to, or he desperately wanted to get knocked the hell out! Blue sprung to action, setting his hunger aside for the time being as he stood up on his bench and spun around to face the poor sod. "That did it." Lucky noted. If there was anything that could motivate the brash young Dragon Slayer to action, it was a jab at his height. But just as he realized the guy hadn't been talking to him, he witnessed a female Mage of shorter stature go off on the guy, then take him and two of his friends out like it was nothing. All because the guy had called her short. Blue's mouth fell open.

"Sweet, with Ebony that's-" the young Mage brought a hand up to his face, counting on his fingers as he mentally went over his list. "Three awesome short people in the Guild!" A big grin began creeping across his face, but it stopped abruptly and his happiness shattered along with his mental image. "Hold on a sec...I'M NOT SHORT!" He gripped his head with both hands and shook it back and forth, trying his damndest to erase that memory completely. He'd accidentally included himself in his list. Damn tall people. Implanting such a crazy and unrealistic idea in his head.

Blue hopped down from the bench, his usual confident smirk returning as his gaze shifted from the three downed goons to Rita. "Nice moves." His compliment wasn't just for brownie points. The girl could fight! Lucky leapt from the table with a, "Yosh!~"and latched on to the back of Blue's head. "Yeah, nice moves! I'm Lucky, and this is Blue." Tears welled in the boy's eyes as they looked up at his friend, his fists clenched and his body rigid. Luck was hanging on with his- "Oi! Put those daggers away!" ...yeah. With his claws. You could hear the pain in Blue's voice. The Exceed only added an, "Oh." as he retracted his sharp claws, laughing as dropped down onto the floor and watched Blue rub the top of his dome. And just as the two finished their usual act of tomfoolery, a familiar voice caught the Slayer's ear. He looked in the direction of it to find a head of distinct red hair, and a dangerous frown. "Yo, Ebony." he greeted the girl, candid as ever. But even more important was what was on the ground at her feet. Smushed and littered with glass...was pie. Glorious, glorious pie. A drop of sweat trickled down the side of the boy's face as he gulped, his forgotten hunger rushing back to him. Yeah it was mush. And on the ground. And full of glass. But when you'd lived like he'd lived for so long, you take what you can get. "...you gonna eat that?" His eyes were lit up like sparkles. He reaaaallly hoped she wasn't gonna eat that.

But just then, another person came onto the scene. Or rather, "jumped down into" the scene from somewhere above. An unusual trait a lot of Fairy Tail Mages had, Blue had noted. He quickly accepted Rita's challenge and without wasting any time began preparing for a fight. Flickers of unusual blue fire sprang to life from his body. The temperature in the immediate area rose a few degrees, something that Blue sweat more. And NOT from his hunger! But he didn't pay too much mind to it because his gaze was still locked on the floor pie. Man was he hungry. He was just waiting on the word to tear it apar- "Thish is reawy guhd, Ehbuny!" the boy spoke between mouthfuls of pie. Blue was eating it with his bare hands, glass and all. Tears of sheer bliss flowed from his closed eyes. Whatever Ebony did, this floor pie was probably the best damn pie he'd ever had. Then again he hadn't had many pies in his life...and it was probably best served on a plate minus shards of glass...but still! It was delicious! Blue swallowed a mouthful of food. "Hey, Luck, come try this." The Dragon Slayers Exceed partner made his way over to him, but shook his head at the offer. "Doesn't that hurt?" was all he could say, but Blue just ignored him and continued chomping away.

Two more people showed up soon after. One blonde and one...rainbow-haired guy. Another thing Blue'd noted was the multitude of odd hair colorings in Fairy Tail. He was so focused on his pie that all he didn't even wonder about them too long. Just asked, "Who the hell're those guys?" to his cat of all people. Lucky shrugged. "Dunno. Cool hair though..."

Still standing proudly on the bar, Rita heard a voice from below. The girl blinked down a high and saw a familiar looking mage, dark blue hair and eyes... From what she heard he was a newcomer, another dragon slayer at that. Rita was surprised that someone would even attempt to approached her while she was fuming like this, he either had guts or was he really ignorant. She recalled seeing him around the hall but she could not say that they were acquainted.  
 
He was in luck, for the Shadow Make wizard managed to regain her composure once introduced to Blue and his companion. The mage quickly gave a gentle grin, waving at The boy and his cat. “Ayy, Nice ta meetcha, Blue, Lucky. I’m Ri-“ She began.  However before Rita could even say, he quickly dismissed himself, approaching Fairy Tail’s Cosmic mage, Ebony who appeared to be beyond irritated, her unfinished desert splattered on the ground. Ehhh...
 
It was then that she heard a familiar voice calling her out in acceptance to her challenge.  The boy certainly looked like he was craving a good brawl, Rita had the same look in her eyes, finally a challenge! “Be my guest. Simon!” She called back from across the hall, a smirk cutting into her features. The two hadn't really done a good job keeping in touch despite being on the same team but hey, nothing a throw down couldn't fix, right?
 
“Ready or not here I come!” She called, completely disregarding a mage with colorful hair trying to stop this madness. Rita glanced around the hall looking for a way she could get to Simon without using her magic….and then she saw it. Keeled over a and devouring a piece of pie on the ground was Blue.  Rita didn't even bother questioning it; instead she was going to use his position to her advantage. 

“Ayy, Heads up, Blue!~” Rita called loudly as she took a short step back and bolted in his direction from behind.  She skipped onto the surface of the slayer's back and with a quick bend of her knees the mage pushed herself off of his back and sprung into the air, Flying over her peers and cutting distance between herself and Simon. 

With a clatter of abandoned silverware, Rita landed directly in front of him. She refused to give him any time to think things through. There was no doubt that he was a more powerful wizard than she was… But it didn't matter what kind of magic he could use. This was a brawl. Rita sunk down, balancing on one of her hands and a bent leg and quickly conducted a sweep kick. If it connected surely it would knock him off of the table.
 
If successful, The teen would then  throw her hands against the wooden surface and push her momentum forward, throwing her lower body over herself and forward with a frontal hand spring, intending to get another hit on Simon, delivering a kick to the abdomen mid-fall.

Lance had the smell of alcohol on his breath as he bust open the doors to the guild and marched in the Lea marching behind him "Hey! Dont forget about me!" he said with a phsycotic but joyful laugh as he picked up a table that was sitting on the floor and threw it at a random guild member. The table missed the member by a long shot but it riled up a large group of the members who pounced at Lance. As the people tried to beat Lance up he grabbed Lea by the hands and started to twirl and swing her around, hitting everyone that was trying to attack him.

Lance had been missing from the guild for about a month now and this is how he came back. He placed Lea down and once the smoke had cleared from the brawl that Lance had started she had comical swirls for eyes as she collapsed onto the ground. He picked up a glass and slammed it down on the table "OI! BUTT HEADS! I'M BACK!" he said with a laugh as he got hit upside the head with a chair. His rather large group of girls had hearts in their eyes as Lance fought.

There was a word for Simon and that word was fast. But faster then his feet was his mind, he perceived the world in slow motion to accommodate his movements speeds that were too fast for the normal human mind to track. Which gave him a lot of time to think even where there was no time at all. Rita met his challenge without hesitation which meant she was likely feeling confident, confident people loved playing to their strengths and rarely did anything surprising. Simon could tell easily from his hawk like eyes that Rita was not one for extreme brute force but she was fast and fast normally meant crafty. That and a life time of fighting told Simon she was likely going for a two or three blow combo from the get-go. He had worked out all of this while Rita was still mid-jump, which Simon admitted to having nice form upon inspection. Now from his experience when dealing with attacks that would consist of multiple blows Simon had become familiar with a certain trend.

First came a light stun blow to initiate a combo, then followed a heavier blow to stagger the opponent, if a third blow came it would likely be a punch that could easily be repeated several times to rack up damage now that the target was caught on the defensive. Rita went in for a sweep kick, Simon's feet were knocked from under him. Now Rita was flying in for a kick to his abdomen, Simon saw now was his best chance to attack. The heavier second blow was normally when the attacker's guard was the lowest making it the easiest point to turn around the attack. So Simon would just wait to the last minute, dodge and bring Rita down in one fell movement. Instead he got the wind knocked out of him and was knocked through the table by the kick. Honestly the mage overestimated his speed on many occasion.

As soon as he hit the ground Simon rolled backwards onto his feet to face Rita. He was clearly over thinking things so he was going to do what he knew best. The phoenix jumped at Rita, too high to land a blow, but just as he flew over her head he flipped forward, extending his right foot, altering his trajectory to carry him almost backwards(mid-air mobility just another perk of being part bird). The complex aerial maneuver would if executed correctly place his heel at the back of her head, forcefully. Regardless of the success of the attack he would finish his flip, landing on his feet behind where Rita had been standing and would likely strike a pose. Assuming he didn't get bludgeoned by Rita before given the chance for such showmanship.

Kyra Barkwater, a relatively new member of the guild Fairy Tail, was sitting at the table in the far corner that had quickly become her usual place. As is her custom, she had a bottle of sake on the table and a cup of the beverage in her hand. The table was far removed from the chaos that was ensuing, but somehow, it managed to reach her as a man came crashing down next to her, a strangely sparkling taco clasped safely in his outstretched hand. Caught by surprise, Kyra shrieked and leapt from her chair, the cup in her hand falling to crash into the man's head, spilling the sake all over him. Oddly enough, the cup did not break. This was because it was made out of a very solid crystal by Kyra herself, who was a Crystal Make mage. This particular brand of magic was displayed as Kyra, the self-titled Crystal Queen, humorously entitled the Ice Queen by the numerous boys (and several girls) the attractive woman had rejected, switched from shock and surprise to anger, quickly making a sword out of pure diamond to rest in her hand. This was quickly pointed at the taco man's head as Kyra said in a deadly quiet voice "Just what do you think you're doing? You could have landed on me, you idiot."

"Well, this is interesting..."
Manayus stated with some surprise in his voice as he walked into the guild hall. It was way more rowdy than usual in the guild-hall. He looked from one end of the guild hall tothe other, watching as everyone seemed to pick fights with everyone else. While it wasn't normally his style to get involved in anything, he couldn't help but want to throw his own twist on the situation.

"Fairy Support, Vitesse, Pouvoir"
He stated as he moved both hands forward, a gust of fairy dust surging forward owards the other members of the guild. The dust maneuvered around the members so that it only affected the female guild members, enhancing their strength and speed as they duked it out.

Conrad growled as he walked into the room, avoiding the ruckus he sat down at the bar. Ordering himself some booze, he proceeded to drink the contents. "Another." he demanded as a loose mug flew across the room and smacked him in the back of the head. "Alright who threw that!" He blurted as he jumped into the fray, without thinking twice about who did it.

Chloe sighed as she entered the guild hall. It was a complete madhouse in there as always. She had no idea how all this fighting started, simply wanting to take a rest. She walked into the hall shyly and quietly before taking up her position as a barmaid and waitress, a job she loved to work in her off time. She ducked behind the bar when things got thrown her way, still doing her job and bringing people food and drink. "You people are like children" she eventually said as she sent some water spells in to try and splash them out of it.

Some sort of a golden powder maneuvered its way about the guild, curtsy of Manyus, The guilds Fairy Magic user. The dust seemed to only react to a few of the female mages who were duking it out, including Rita. To concentrated on Simon and her brawl, she failed to notice the glittering dust which had come after her and the glow her body began to give off once absorbing it, buffing her speed and strength.

Rita was quickly caught off guard when Simon had jumped over her rather than at her to land a hit. Before she could evade his next strike she took a heel to the back of her head, thrown from her spot on the bench and face first into the floor.

The mage shot back up to her feet almost immediately, fists balled up.  A comical shadow enveloping the upper-most half of her face, her eyes beaming bright red beneath the dark layer. “I’m not done yet, baka!!” She shouted, literally hefting a table over herself, disregarding the mages playing a game of poker on the surface, including an orange exceed; cards and poker chips going literally everywhere in her wake. Had the girl always been able pick up a table with such ease?  She wouldn't give the Phoenix or anyone else in the room a second to think about it, violently chucking the furniture at him, certainly throwing him off of his pedestal if connecting.  

Rita would take back her spot from Simon, striking a pose of her own instead, her body still glowing and glimmering from the magic dust.

Nightken watched as the guild was in its usual uproar and was calmly grabbing some of the stuff that was being thrown so there isn't as much broken stuff. Looking around he saw Heero nearly pass out from eating a super spicy taco, Rita fighting Simon, Kyra trying to drink her sake in the corner, Ebony taking Zoe to the second floor of the guildhall, Shard trying to calm everyone down, Lance, Blue, Krow, Manayus, and Conrad were all doing their own thing while all of this is going on. "So this is what all of the other guild masters had to deal with." Nightken muttered to himself as the brawls were still going on. Getting splashed by one of Chloe's water spells he spat out the water in his mouth and looked at her with a look of why would you even try doing that. With her spells splashing most of the people on the first floor. Getting annoyed of all the brawls and stuff being thrown around Nightken released an electric current at the water causing it to electrocute most of the people in the middle of their brawls.

"Now that caused you all to calm down some how about we get the clean up taken care of before I flood this place in lightning out of annoyance." He said calmly to the entire guild before he started to put some of the chairs back to where they were originally at. "My my if this is how Fairy Tail is then this should be fun." A hooded man said before a bright light filled the guild in an instant. When the light was gone Nightken saw that he was up on the second next to Ebony, but was confused since he saw himself down on the first floor. "Wait why am I down... why do I sound like a a teenage girl?" He asked as he started to look around to see he was in Zoe's body and noticed that the hooded person was gone. Thinking about what has happened he was thinking that person might have switched everyone's bodies. He realized this is going to cause some major issues in a moment so he took the risk and took charge at this moment. "Alright people it looks like we've swapped bodies so I'd like for everyone to try and stay calm so we can think this through without anyone getting hurt in the confusion." Nightken gave his instructions from the second floor but it might not convince them since it sounds and looks like Zoe taking charge of the situation.

Kyra was looking at the taco man, Heero, she believed his name was, when all of a sudden, he nearly passed out from the spiciness of his quickly devoured taco. Kyra sighed, and was about to perform a spell that would coat the poor man's tongue with sugar, but an immensely bright flash of light disoriented her, and she stumbled back, somehow keeping hold of her crystal sword. When she opened her eyes, she could immediately tell something was wrong. There was no longer a weight on her chest, and her clothes felt.. looser. She looked down at her hands and was almost unsurprised to see they were not her own. She hurried over to the nearest mirror, and saw... Manayus. At least, that's what she thought his name was. The one with the dust magic that made Kyra sneeze whenever it was used in her vicinity. She groaned in despair, expecting to be forced to sneeze again from the tiny streams of dust still coming from Manayus's arms, and was pleasantly surprised when she felt no such urge. But then again, it would be rather unfortunate for him if he had an allergic reaction to his own magic, Kyra reasoned. She turned away from the mirror just in time to catch Zoe's.. Uh.. whoever-was-in-Zoe's-body's speech. She suspected it was Nightken, as she/he spoke with a calm yet commanding voice, just like the guildmaster.
