Description: Edolas is quite a mystic wonderland, an alternative dimension with altered versions of those who live in Earthland. Most of these altered versions are embodied as small, magical felines called Exceeds, who walk on their hind legs, can talk many languages and behave similarly to mortal creatures in our world. Edolas, like many other worlds, is tied to the World Tree - this brought forth an adventurous and curious fellow who happened to stumble upon Sabertooth’s guild through the World Tree and immediately announce himself their savior and hero who dons the very identity of the guild’s totem - the black, saber-toothed Exceed, Smile O’Donald.
Smile carries many recognizable traits; long, sharp canines extending down from under his upper lip, smooth fur that absorbs almost all colors and appears black – accompanied by white, faint stripes on his face and limbs - and a heart full of pride and ambition in whatever he goes through. Smile harbors the classic dream to be the very best at what he does, always wanting to be Number One no matter the topic or subject. It embodies itself in him seeing what you’re doing, then wanting to one-up you immediately after - no matter the subject at hand. This means that he’s an invaluable ally to Sabertooth as he wants to be the best guildmate too - he also wants to be the most honest, so he will never tell any lies. In your missions, he does his darn best to be the first one to show up at the quest’s location, and he loves to take the lead even in his little Exceed Form. His pride often pushes him to extreme lengths and gets him into trouble, especially if he’s being provoked by a fool… he hates being provoked. For now, though, he patrols the halls of Sabertooth’s guild hall as well as the branches of Yggdrasil from which he found this funny-looking place to begin with. You can often hear him practice his roar in the halls… and he walks like a royal guardian with his chest puffed up high, long steps and with as big a spirit as ever.
In his Exceed Form, he stands a measly 15 inches (38 cm) tall - reaching up to about half a shin high - and weighs about 2.10 lbs (ca. 1 kg). He walks on his hind legs like a humanoid.
When push comes to shove, Smile can transform into his Beast Form, where he dons a height of 4 feet when on all four paws, and a 11 inches (60 inches in total, or 150 cm) to the top of his shoulders - big ass shoulders, as if befits a saber-toothed cat like him - and he rocks a body length of 13 feet (4.0 meters).

Description: It doesn’t hurt his pride that much, so he might as well help his Kittens out while they’re out fighting - if anything, it inflates his self-image even more. Smile’s claws extend into long, sharp blades which he then… scratches an ally on their back with. Despite the sharpness, the experience is like having that one, itchy and unreachable spot on one’s back scratched just nicely without any injury, and a red mark of said scratch embeds itself onto the spot and lights up, buffing the ally’s Spell Range by +41% and Spell Speed by +71%. Imagine healing from a scratch like that; the ally also receives a +5% HP and MP Regen per post.

Description: Ain’t nothing out there to get the blood running and encourage his fellow Sabers like a classic, big cat roar! The black Exceed’s vocal chords vibrate intensely when magic flows through. This clears the way for his signature roar spells that depend on the precise vibration of these chords. He opens his jaw, spawns a yellow magic circle in front of it and releases a deafening roar befitting of a big cat like him, sending out a wide wave of sound that pushes the air away and can almost be seen with the naked eye. This wave of sound can be controlled by Smile via his magic, either being used as a shockwave to attack foes with, or to guard himself or allies within the range from attacks and spells.

Description: And now, clear the way for the finisher! When the opening is there, Smile’s canines suddenly grow several times their length and width to the point where he can’t close his mouth. Then, he launches himself and travels with the spell in one direction per post at the spell’s range and speed, before he digs his long, saber-toothed canines deep into the enemy. This causes a clap strong enough to simulate thunder, which travels through the enemy’s body and debuffs their Movement Speed by -115% (cannot push the enemy’s Movement Speed below -50% no matter what). On top of that, the enemy hit by this spell are also held in place by the long canines, thus being immobilized for one post. Through those long teeth, Smile also siphons energy from the enemy like a vampire, draining 5% of their HP per post.

Description: Smile carries a humble spear on his back- or, at the very least, the broken tip of one. He calls it his little ‘tooth’, but it’s not used for gnawing on dishes - he uses it to stab down enemies or launch it like a javelin.

Description: Smile holds up the spear in front of him, awaiting for a spell to hit him. A bright flash escapes his body when it happens, allowing him to then reflect one spell up to S-Rank or lower back at the caster - by doing so, the player and owner of said pet must pay twice the necessary MP Cost of said spell which is being reflected. If necessary, Smile can also multiply one redirected spell into two (only one S-Rank spell or lower per post can be multiplied like this) - this costs the same amount of MP as the spell being copied, which must be paid on top of the previous cost for reflecting it in the first place. This spell, while active, also allows Smile to teleport once per post at S-Rank Burst Range to confuse his opponents.

Description: Smile carries this extremely heavy, dark sack on his person all the time. It’s filled with a handful of strange, bean-like seeds of either red or green colors. Body- and magic-enhancing beans… sweet, yo. The sack itself is actually made of some strange, reinforced thread, and it’s his shield of choice for defending himself. Try and imagine a dude using a human shield; that’s basically how Smile does it, and oh boy, does he do it efficiently.
