~Hikari's Past~

History:
Hikari grew up in east Magnolia with her mom and dad. She had a happy childhood for the most part. Hikari was a beautiful girl, she had long, scarlet hair like her mother and her father's nose. They would often take trips to the Rose Garden in Bellum. However, when Hikari was only 10 years old, Hikari's father lost his job working for Sorcerer Weekly and fell into debt. While Hikari's mother, who was always frail and sick got worse. Eventually Hikari's father had an affair then left the two of them with his debt and ran off with his new lover. Hikari couldn't believe her own father would do such a thing to them. Hikari ended up hating her father with every fiber of her being and her absolute hatred of her father caused her to hate ALL men. Now, Hikari and her mother were left to pay off her father's huge debt. Seeing as her mother was too sick and frail to work, Hikari decided she would work to pay off the debt, but being only seven years old, she had an extremely tough time finding work. No place would hire her because she was just too young. She tried everywhere in all of magnolia to get hired. A year passed by and she still couldn't get a job. Then, a letter arrived at their home in east magnolia, it had no return address, but it was addressed to Hikari and her mother. When Hikari opened the envelope, it was filled with a bunch of jewels and a letter from Hikari's father. When she knew it was him who sent the letter, she tore it up in rage. However, the jewels were a different story, she could use them to pay off part of the debt her father left them with. With part of the debt now payed, Hikari resumed her job hunt. However, she still had no luck. Years went by, then finally when Hikari turned 13, she found a job. She worked as waitress in a local cafe. The uniforms were cute, so Hikari was happy. When she had to wait on guys, she just forced a smile. Hikari's beauty made her really popular at work. Hikari's mom worried about Hikari's future, so she put Hikari threw schooling but Hikari was still able to work and payed for school herself. She excelled in most subjects, was popular among both male and female students. She got confessed to by boys many times but always kicked them in the butts, saying "I don't time for idiotic men!" Hikari attended school til she was 16. That was because on her last day of school, when Hikari returned home, she found her beloved mother dead. It was so shocking for Hikari, now she no longer had any family left. Hikari mourned her mother's death. She blamed her good-for-nothing father. After the funeral. A man named Vincent Reinheart, appeared before the depressed and sadden Hikari. Vincent was a fire mage, well known in Magnolia. He asked her what she would do now. That's when, Hikari decided, she wanted to learn magic. So, she begged him to teach her his magic. She wasn't too thrilled at the idea but she had no other options left to her. Vincent agreed to teach her his magic, however, she had to quit her job first. Hikari wasn't too sure about his condition seeing as she still hadn't payed off he debt her father left her with. He then told Hikari that she could make a lot more money working as a mage and that is what helped make up Hikari's mind.

Hikari and Vincent then left Magnolia on a journey together. They traveled all the way to divine island where Vincent had Hikari train her body to withstand high temperatures. He then trained her mind so she wouldn't ever fear fire. Once that training was done. He finally taught her actual magic. His magic was a unique type of fire magic known as Crimson-make magic. Hikari was able to learn this magic by the time she was 18. After he'd taught her this magic, Vincent just up and left without saying a word to Hikari. Hikari decided, that she would try to search for her no-good father but first, she needed to pay off the debt he left her with. So, Hikari returned to Magnolia and started working as a wandering mage.
