History/Story
History: Yukine was born in a town located slightly north of Oak Town. He is considered the youngest of six males, including himself. Yukine was one of the fortunate people to live with a full family, and remain this way until their passing. He lived in a house considered one of the most expensive in all of Fiore. He literally had about three floors of entertainment all to himself. In fact, there were so many rooms in this house, that each one was labelled, indicating who the room was for, and for what purpose. As a baby, his parents, Yato and Hiyori, hoped to see him grow as an athlete, and so many of his rooms were sport-themed, or fitness-themed. Additionally, as he grew from a baby to a toddler, his parents taught him so much about sports and fitness, that he eventually developed a strict mindset to the two subjects. His parents found that Yukine excelled most in soccer, and so they registered him (as a toddler), to a recreational soccer league. Unfortunately, Yukine didn't seem to enjoy this level of soccer, seeing as he often dominated the playing field, and had more knowledge of the game than any other toddler. He was a gifted child. Within short periods of time, Yukine found himself being promoted to new levels of soccer. At one moment, however, he began to hate the sport as coaches treated him poorly. To elaborate, Yukine was treated as though his life were dependent on his gameplay, and so he resigned.
When his parents found out that he quit soccer (Yukine age 8 at this time), they decided to register him with a tutor. This tutor was all over him as a child. She was a nasty woman, and taught Yukine wickedly how to learn each subject he took. Eventually, Yukine became a top student, getting straight A's on his report cards, though he didn't enjoy academics, at all. If anything, during the night, Yukine would look further into his law textbook than his teacher demanded, trying to incorporate every detail into his mind. He loved this subject, specifically, and hoped to pursue a career in this particular field. It was after Yukine's intelligence outmatched a grade-school student's that his parents set him free from academics. As a result, however, having experienced quite a violent side to his mom and dad, Yukine became very depressed, and for years, chose to spend his free-time alone. This, of course, is when Regalia started appearing to him, spiritually. It was actually during a night after which Yukine thought he'd lose his life that a dragon known as Acnologia appeared, ended the misery, and gave Yukine the ability to see Regalia. Every night, as he dreamt, Yukine would see four spirits: Yato, Hiyori, Rabo and Nora. Yato and Hiyori represented the goodness of his parents, while Rabo and Nora represented the good fortune that Yukine had. Every dream was the same. Each Regalia spirit would show him their land, and then, as the morning came, they would ask if they could become his Regalia. After first, Yukine didn't understand what this meant, and so he would always leave these requests pending. The Regalia continued to show Yukine great fantasies until the age of 16.
Yukine began to comprehend what it meant to have Regalia in his life the moment his parents figured out he was having such dreams. Apparently, while he slept, Yukine's parents could hear him mumble parts of his adventures as he rested. They too did the same thing in the past, and so they fully understood what it meant to have Regalia living within Yukine. His five brothers, however, were all Dragon Slayers: Water, Fire, Earth, Wind and Lightning. At the age of 16, while he was about to go out for a jog, Yukine's parents stopped him, and wanted to explain to him the meaning of Regalia. First, they explained how living with Regalia signified the presence of a Mage, meaning Yukine was capable of expelling magic. Yukine had never been more shocked in his life when he first heard about this. His parents also told him about the spells he would be able to perform if he were to accept the Regalia within his fantasies: ReQuip. Soon after this moment, Yukine was transferred to a monastery, where he was expected to make deep connections with God and unique spirits, hopefully to create a bond with the souls inside his heart.
At this monastery, Yukine found himself wearing pure white clothing: his praying attire. Through moments of meditation, Yukine could begin seeing his Regalia clearly, and channel the magic he was originally unfamiliar with. As much as Yukine wished to form a bond with these Regalia, he struggled to summon them, and so the monks had to put him under full isolation. While under this isolation, monks used the art of Borderline to forcefully summon the Regalia as free-roaming spirits, in exchange for great pain dealt to their host. Yukine had never been more terrified of pain in his entire life. He often screamed, barked, yelled- you name it. Hours passed during these times of isolation, and Yukine was in an uproar, trying to connect with his Regalia while facing the ultimate form of torture: eternal agony. If he were to fail connecting with Regalia, Yukine would've died by this torture, though by surprise, he didn't. A moment came when Yukine plainly decided to give in to violence, and so he decided to punch the doors that isolated him. After several minutes of doing so, Yukine finally heard a voice calling to him, and a light shining within his right hand. Yukine remembered the word his parents recommended he say if he were to see this light, and so he said it: "Sekki!" With this, the Sekki symbol was magically embedded into his body, granting Yukine full access to his Regalia. The moment this tattoo appeared, the borderline stopped, and Yukine found himself frozen with a spiritual blade in his grasp. This, of course, was the power of the Regalia: Yato. Yato had spoken to him about how to call him, along with his group. The two became the ultimate duo, which then led to a dream team.
At the age of 17, Yukine graduated from the monastery, and returned home. Once he returned home, however, he saw his entire family dead on the streets, and criminals invading his house. Though he wished to punish these madmen, Yukine decided to run away, all the way to the east side of Oak Town. Once he got there, Yukine used a great portion of the jewels in his bank account to buy a decent house. To this day, he still lives in the same home. Yet again, Yukine lived in misery for another year- until his birthday, actually. Once he turned 18, Yukine overheard children talking about guilds, and so, with no hesitation, Yukine overcame his inner depression, and ran to find a new family. He spent days overlooking all guilds, examining them all from the outside until he found one, in particular: Sabertooth. Once he spotted this guild, Yukine tried to find ways on how to register for this guild. He even tried speaking to the Magic Council, though all they could tell him was to try and run in there. Yukine grinned for the first time, after this, knowing exactly what he should do. In order to make an impression on the guild, Yukine intentionally set-up a fight outside of the guild. There, he pounded the tricked as if tomorrow never existed. He kept on hitting them with melee attacks until he could finally utilize the Sekki. However, during the very moment he summoned Yato, a Magic Council member noticed him- the same one, actually. Yukine had to go through many discussions after this, and thankfully, finally came to a point when he was consented to join the guild he so much desired.
Nothing more can be spoken about Yukine's history from this point, as he has yet to successfully write another chapter. As of now, Yukine is currently trying to show Sabertooth that his role is quite significant, and that he is definitely one that can be respected. During his welcoming party, Yukine met four new friends: Victoria, Indar, Zenneth and Viola, though he has yet to confirm their persona. Until then, Yukine simply continues to go on new adventures, trying to understand what true satisfaction means, and more important, what the gift of life truly contains. He hopes that he can forget all about his past, and replace it with a wonderful future.

Yukine stands before the transporter to Sabertooth. He looks high into the sky, wondering what sort of future he'll have in this guild. Will it be pleasant? Will he make a lot of friends, and most importantly, will he have a good time? Yukine was honoured to be standing where he was today, able to see a beautiful village up in the clouds, and call it home. He couldn't wait to just knock on that door, and see all the people Sabertooth had to offer. He couldn't wait to see all the adventures that awaited him; all the challenges he'd have to overcome, and all the tasks he'd have to complete. It was all just so overwhelming! "Amazing..." Yukine mutters before stepping into the teleporter. He could feel the spirit build within him as he rose to the top. Once he relocates himself to where the guild is, Yukine rushes to the main entrance. "I-I'm here! Kichiro Yukine!" Yukine announces as he comes across the front door. He was hoping someone would hear him, or else this would be quite the awkward moment.
