Personality:

Karen is the type of woman that has been molded by her own past, and not in the good sense. Even though her youth started out tranquil and good. But as we all know, nothing stays the same. And so did Karen's life. At the age of 13 her village that was located in one of the more outer regions of Fiore was being attacked. Not by normal bandits that were out to just raid the village, but by a brand of rather more disgusting criminals. Namely slavers, people that were out to subjugate other human beings and sell them to the highest bidders.

They came through her village as a scourge, killing everyone who was to old or put up to much of an resistance. Just like her parents who were being struck down right in front of her eyes. And while their blood was spoiling the earth she was captured and dragged away through the remains of the village. Only to be put together with the other captured villagers. However she only came to realize that after she came to from the shock of seeing her parents die.

From that point onward Karen's life was pure misery, everyday she was beaten and had to fight her own neighbors for the scarce food that the slavers gave them. At first she was trying to band together with a few of the other teenagers, however that took a turn for the worse when the slavers on purpose gave even less food to their prisoners then normal. And without hesitation the people she considered her friends turned on her, right on the moment managed to gather some food for the small group.
They started to punch into her, kick her to the ground. Only so that there was one less mouth to feed. But then something unexpected happened, Karen who lied on the ground, taking a beating that should've brought her to near death snapped.All her anger from the months of suffering dwelled up. it all reached the surface. Scared of dying had been replaced by a burning hot wrath. So much that it even took visual form.

Out of nowhere her hair light up in flames, and from her hands she sprayed a fire all across the cage she shared with the others. This was the first event that set her on the path of the woman she is today. A twisted person who sees hurting other people as nothing more then normal. Sure it began with a self defense mechanism but later it turned out in an actual way of living.

Since that moment Karen only shared a cage with herself, making her a solitude person. None of the other captured people shared a cage with her. Mostly because of the slavers who didn't wanted their merchandise to burn to ashes. She become lonely, and in her loneliness she learned that she could only trust herself.
A month later after the incident she was caught in someone eye, a man from the country of Bosco. He had heard the stories of the slavers, and had taken an interesting in Karen. Especially in her powers and will to survive. And that was just what he needed, a survivor that would fight at any cost only so that she could have her next meal. She might've been perfect for his business, which was a gladiator type of business. A combat pit, where people where pitted against each other and had to fight for to the death. While spectators gambled with each other on the winning person.

There she was trained in fighting and learned how to use her newly found power, all through the hard battles with other combatants. There her will to survive become more then a self defense mechanism. It became a way of life, fighting to see another day. Making sure to take out the other person before they could ever harm her. It made her immune to pain from others, taking peoples life became easy to her. As if it was just as normal as the cold light of day.

However at the combat pit she also learned happiness again, even if it wasn't the same as before. With every victory her fame grew, the spectators applauded her, chanted her name. She became their most beloved combatant. The happiness came off course that she finally felt appreciated after such a long time of being subjugated and being treated like trash. Even behind the scenes she enjoyed the results of her winnings, the man that bought her made sure of that. Her cage was being traded in for a decent room, with good furniture. Her food and clothing improved over the years. No longer she had to wear those linen rags that barely held together, no longer did she had to feel insecure of all the lusty looks she got. No after the years in the combat pit she became a prideful woman, still secluded but proud of what she can do. However, her time in the combat pit gave her one fatal flaw, and that was that she didn't played well in teams. Sure she could follow commands, hell she even preferred it that way. But when it came to actual corporation with other people she mostly failed to do so.

After seven long years in the pit the owner released her, after bringing him so much fortune he decided it was time for him to let go. She had served him well, and no longer wanted he to ask more of her. After all he had other projects to work with, younger projects that could proof to be equally as triumphant as Karen was. This infuriated Karen, after all the man asked her to give up the only glimmer of light in her life. And that was hearing the her name among the spectators, the people that came especially for her. He asked her to give up the only thing she apparently cared for. Her fame.
Angered by this Karen exploded in a fiery blast of fire. Burning the entire pit down, among with everyone in it. Along with it's owner and the other combatants.

After the incident, she traveled across earth land without any reason or designation. She had become a pointless wanderer, she stayed wherever she wanted to stay. Took what she took, through brutal force with deadly consequences if it was necessary. But never did she stay long at the same place. Until after four years she came at the doorstep of Tartarus, a dark guild. At that point she was already molded in a person that had no regard for other human beings at all, yet Tartarus offered her something new, something she never had. Freedom with a goal, the right and ideal that they were the strongest there was. They offered her a freedom she had never felt before. So she figured that Tartarus could bring her the glory that she had back in the pit.



Likes:
- Her own flames and fire magic
- Solitude, even if she shares a guild now with others. She still prefers to be alone most of the time.
- Making a show, a job with her never ends in silence. People need to know that she was their. After all it is glory she wants, even if it is through unconventional means.
Dislikes:
- Naivety, especially mages that have a good life without any dark events happening in them. Those that go one with their daily life, without knowing what the world truly is like.
- Silent assassination jobs, there is no fame in not letting others know she assassinated someone.
- Water magic and it's mages. After water can extinguish flames.
Motivations:
- Gaining glory in battle, in the most gruesome ways possible.
- Go full throttle, having a fight or battle in which she can let out all her anger, all her deepest desires.
- Strength, through all the fighting in the past she has found a respect for people who show true strength.

- Even though she is a loner, he does fear that she never can share his life with someone and that she will be this way for ever.
