Job Location: Calm Sea (Must have a boat)
Job Description: You find a grog-stained letter pinned on the request board. After some hesitation, you pick it up and open it, reading it's contents.
"Shiver me timbers, laddies! I lost me eye! I don't believe it! It be a precious gift from me ex-girlfriend's dead husband's stepsister's sister and I lost it along with me ship! Them darn pirates, attackin' me while me guard's down, passing through the Calm sea. If they had the courage to face me, I woulda grabbed me cutlass'n shoved it RIGHT up their poopdeck, the lil' landlubbin' sons of a seagul-lovin' rum-wastin' little...(the pirate's ranting goes on for about 7 pages before he finally gets back on topic)
So, yer a mage, arencha ? Then go to me ship'n'get me eye! Bring'er back'n'I'll give ya me treasure! 'n if ya don't I'llgrabmecanonsnteachyahowtosinktothebottomofthefriggin'oceaninunderthirtysecondsyoubloody... (the rest of the letter is completely undecipherable, so you choose to stop admiring the guy's flawless grammar)"
Having read that amusing piece of art, only one question remains. Is a pirate really asking mages to find him his eye or was last night's tankard of mead a bit stronger than you thought ...
Enemies:
Weak: Seagulls- It seems that these natural fishermen found the abandoned ship to be a a suitable place to build their nests and they are going to defend them with tooth and claw. Or beak and wing, as the case may be.
Normal: Crabs- The little critters may taste delicious when served boiled, but I wouldn't advise you to try and eat them when they are as alive as these ones. Or as big. Or as many. (1-metre long and half a metre high, show up in groups of 2)
Strong: Fake treasure chest- These magically enchanted crates may look completely identical to a treasure chest, but as soon as you approach and try to open them they will literally try to eat you.
Boss: Unicorn- There may be a lot of weird things on board that ship, but seeing a unicorn kind of makes you wonder just what the hell has this guy been smuggling. The magical horses use their horns to try and nail you to the wall and their strong legs are capable of detaching your jaw from your head if you don't react on time. I advise you to not play rugby with them. It. Will. Hurt. (C -Rank Monster)
Reward: 750 jewels and a tankard called Ol' One-eye's Holy Grail. It's a magical tankard which does not spill its contents and turns any water that gets poured in it into some really weird chicken-tasting rum, which somehow gives the consumer a temporary 10% boost in strength. A label on the bottom says "Instant steroids. Use before arm-wrestling". (Duration of the buff - 1 post. The item can be used 4 times per topic, having to be refilled with water from somewhere between each use.)
Delvic stood aboard his vessel holding an awful smelling piece of paper. He grinned none the less at the offered reward. He had no interest in the Jewels, but the cup intrigued him. Del made way to lift anchor from his new boat. The Hargeon Docks were bustling as usual as Delvic made for quick work regardless of his small size. As he looked out upon the crowd he noticed someone he knew, the guild less girl that had helped him find that cat in Beanstalk. He noticed her and was about to say something, but instead went back to his work knowing that he had a job to do.
