History/Story
History:
Ren was born into a traveling family, his parents being traveling merchants at the time, and he was always described as an energetic baby and always wiggled out of his mothers arms. Ren's mother sometimes had to stay up all night to watch him to make sure he didn't crawl off. When he was a toddler, he was still energetic as ever, and had more of a interest in exploring. After all, they never stopped moving around, so he saw many sights through his childhood. Ren caused grief for his family because he constantly wandered off, and was often found up in a tree. Into his childhood, he became more lazy, and preferred to sit around more often, and he began being home schooled by his parents. Also around this time, he began to show interest over boys than girls. Ren's parents never really minded, they felt that he should be free to do what he likes.

Now onto his teenage years, were he was tired of moving around constantly, and eventually persuaded his parents to settle down in the town of Hargeon. He joined a school for the first time, and when his classmates found out he was gay, he was picked on excessively. Of course, he had grown up with a temper and ended up getting in all kinds of fights, all of which he lost. Ren decided to practice magic, and with no real tutor around for him, he would usually end up almost killing himself. While his parents begged him to stop, he continued, eventually for the first time, turning his foot into water... on accident. Ren wasn't able to fix his foot for over a week, and gained several heinous nicknames as a result. Ren still persisted on, practicing gradually everyday after school, since he had literally nothing else to do. Ren finally got to an okay level of magic when he was 16, but he still couldn't figure out how to change his body into water, and still struggles with it. Ren then heard the rumors about the brave and heroic men in the Lamia Scale guild, and was very intrigued. Of course, at the time he was still considered a bit too young, but that couldn't stop him from investigating. What he found was exactly like what he heard, but better. Ren then vowed to himself he was definitely going to join this guild, and began to work harder at his magic. He was still teased at for being gay, but continued throwing punches, despite how much trouble he got it in and how many times he lost. He stopped growing about 2 years back, and was stuck at short height that always irritated him. Ren then bought hats and bracelets to make himself appear taller, and though it never really works so well, he still wears them. Ren also painted his nails, another thing on the list of things that got him teased, but he was already pretty used to it. But that didn't stop him from throwing a few punches when they did tease him. Ren got into a habit of just walking around town, looking for members of the guild to admire. It was so easy to, and of course he definitely preferred finding a male from the guild over a female. Ren finally decided he and his magic were finally ready for the guild, and on a bright and sunny day, headed right up the stairs, took a deep breath, and walked straight inside. Ren was walking through the streets of Hargeon, when in a window, he saw a beautiful hat. Must be an import he thought to himself as he strode up to the window to get a closer look. It was pure black, with a golden seal pinned to the side, that shined in the reflection of the window. Ren was then further distracted when he heard the giggling of girls around the corner. "Have you heard about the guys in the Lamia Scale guild?"one of them asked as Ren peaked around the corner at them. "I've heard their incredibly handsome, just like princes!" the other one squealed. Now Ren was interested. He had heard talk about the guild before, but never in this form. "Princes..." he found himself muttering, when the girls noticed him. "ITS A STALKER!" one of them cried, but when Ren tried to come out and explain to them, one of them landed a punch right into his face, knocking him down. "PERVERT!" The other girl cried as they ran down the street. Ren sighed and rubbed his face, yep, he definitely needed that hat now. He had a guild to visit.
