Description
Shadow Dragon Slayer Magic is a type of Dragon Slayer Magic that grants Aedre various characteristics typical to the Shadow Dragon. Consequently, this magic also allows her to produce and control shadows from any part of her body, which can be used both in melee and as a ranged form of offense. The generated shadows or darkness can be manipulated in a wide variety of ways and their type can be changed at will, they can even be given a material consistency. Such shadows seem to have a blunt effect to it, seemingly causing massive hitting damage when used.
Strengths
:: The shadows produced by Shadow Dragon Slayer Magic are able to be utilized in several different ways, allowing for a high level of adaptability; the shadows are able to be released in freeform, as condensed, or even molded into the shape of a weapon, taking on the properties of said chosen shape.
:: With this Magic, Aedre is able to fade herself into shadows to move swiftly, dodging efficiently and making surprise attacks.
:: Aedre can simply turn into a shadow and avoid weak, non-magical physical attacks.
:: She is at the peak of her power in shadows or darkness, as it grants her a plethora of abilities.
Weaknesses
:: The first and foremost weakness of any kind of Darkness affiliated Magic is Light. So, without doubt, Aedre's spells are weak against Light magic.
:: Dragon Slayers have the ability to eat their respective elements to replenish their energy reserves. However, eating their own magic is not possible for them. If Aedre tries to eat the shadows she produces, she will choke it out due to it being a part of the Shadow Dragon, something that cannot be eaten through any means unless you are a dragon predator, which is highly unlikely. Also, it doesn't make sense to lose Magic Power to conjure shadows and then consume it again, since it'll have absolutely no effect. Conclusively, Aedre has to rely on outer sources of shadows.
:: Classes of shadows or darkness that are considered higher in rank to those produced by the Shadow Dragon Slayer; like those employed by the Hell Demon/God Slayer can’t be eaten directly and will therefore damage Aedre.
:: Most of Aedre's spells are either offensive or defensive. Some of them might be self-supportive but never heal or buff spells that can be used on allies. The Shadow Dragon Slayer fails in ally-support and has to depend on her primary.
Abilities/Powers
:: Training under a dragon gave Aedre access to a plethora of abilities and these passive abilities are actually increased several folds when a Dragon Slayer gets a Dragon Lacrima implanted in them. She is gifted with Heightened Senses; which rivals that of a real Dragon. Compared to other mages and Dragon Slayers as well, she has a more powerful and keener sense of smell, sight and hearing. Aedre also possesses enhanced endurance, speed, durability, reflexes and cognition than normal mages and other Dragon Slayers.
:: Aedre can consume external sources of Shadows or Darkness to restore her body to a healthy state and regain reserves of strength, something that also makes her a better contender against Shadow and Darkness Mages, due to the capability of nullifying darkness-based attacks by sucking them in and eating them. The consumed darkness also seems to possess a different taste according to its quality. She can also consume any kind of Darkness and Shadow Magic regardless of its rank; considering it is in its purest form and does not include any other element.
:: When fighting against Darkness or Shadow mages, Aedre gets an increased resistance against their spells. The resistance varies on the rank and is as follows:

:: Aedre is given the ability to be completely undetectable to the naked eye of a human when in any kind of darkness or shadow.
:: Aedre is capable of using shadows or darkness to travel from place to place; almost like teleporting with the limitation of it working in darkness only. The place that she desires to be in should also have some sort of shadow present or she can't appear there. This ability has a one post cooldown after its use and can only be used out-of-combat.
:: Much like the aforementioned ability, Aedre is capable of using a similar ability for combat purposes, which is limited to an eight meter diameter around her.
:: At the cost of 2.5% of MP from her Magic pool, Aedre can turn her body into a shadow and thus make herself intangible to physical attacks in that post, allowing her to shift forms back and forth as many times as she wishes.
:: Aedre can make use of darkness that surrounds her opponents to make surprise attacks. It works when there is some sort of shadow or darkness in a ten feet diameter of her opponent; allowing her to use one of Tidal Dragon Slayer's spells and redirect and channel it through the darkness around her opponent. This ability is however limited to only some spells of her Primary Magic (For eg. Its only common sense that she can't cast Tidal Dragon's Roar with the help of this ability)

Description
Aedre snaps her fingers, causing a black magic circle with a Dragon's Head crest on it to appear beneath her feet. In a couple of seconds, a very intricately made spider web-like mass of darkness would spread on the ground, using Aedre's feet as a source. The darkness utilized in this spell has a gum-like property which allows it to trap anyone that stands on top of it. Being caught in this web would bring complete loss of movement; so much so that the trapped person is not even able to lift his legs off the ground. At the same time, Aedre can turn into a shadow and regain her normal form in the place this web is laid out on the ground; without the cost of any mana whatsoever. This spreads in a ten meter radius.
Strengths
:: Helps trap enemies, allowing Aedre the situation to her advantage with an onslaught of attacks, because the opponents can no longer dodge now.
:: Grants movement buffs to Aedre.
:: 3 Posts Duration.
Weaknesses
:: Any C Rank spell directed towards the web that binds Aedre's opponent's will cause a one meter radius circle to be cut off from the web, while the enemy is freed at the same time.
:: A D Rank light spell has the same effects on the web as any C Rank spell does.
:: Has a limited range of ten meters.
:: 5 Posts Duration.

Description
Aedre focuses on any one of her opponents, causing their shadow to be bewitched for her benefit. For the next three posts, whenever this enemy tries to attack, 35% of the damage caused by it will affect him/her. A Rank and higher mages only take 25% damage. This ability is only valid for any six magical attacks by the enemy, so if they use six attacks in one post; this spell will enter its cooldown state right there and then. Physical attacks do not count.
Strengths
:: Is quite surprising for the enemy, since they only feel the pain and do not see the attacks.
:: Its not necessary for the attacks to hit Aedre, the damage will be caused no matter what.
:: 3 Posts duration.
Weaknesses
:: Physical attacks do not come under the radar of this spell.
:: Negative effects do not count.
:: If the six attacks are used in one post, the spell will be set into the cooldown state.
:: 6 Posts cooldown.

Description
This is the Shadow Dragon Slayer's version of the signature dragon's roar. While casting, Aedre inhales deeply, filling her lungs with nearby shadows and air. It'll seem as if the nearby shadows are being sucked towards her direction; only to melt into her skin. Once she has gathered a sufficient amount, the young woman releases this highly condensed darkness gathered in her lungs with incredible power, moving at the speed of 50 m/s for 50 meters. The specialty of the spell is that if Aedre is in a place with sufficient darkness, the shadow that is attracted to her body while casting will give a boost to mana and if it is equal to or exceeding the size of a small car then this spell won't cost any MP whatsoever.
Strengths
:: Due to some inherent habits from her training as the Tidal Dragon Slayer, Aedre manages to make her Shadow dragon's roar extremely condensed as well. So, unlike other Dragon's Roar, that spread out the longer they go, the roar of the Shadow Dragon appears as an incredibly large beam with a radius of 5 meters which maintains its shape until it reaches its range limit. Therefore, just like her Tidal Roar, this one does piercing damage too; which in the perfect situations does double B Rank damage (Like, when the opponent is sent crashing down on the ground or a nearby wall; when one B Rank damage is caused by the spell and another B Rank damage is caused by crashing.)
:: Highly offensive and capable of causing bone breakage and major welts.
:: Instant Casting
Weaknesses
:: If the roar accidentally hits the ground, the force of the spell can send Aedre flying for about 5 meters which might hurt her, especially if she falls in the wrong angle.
:: Its massive range might also catch anyone Aedre doesn't wish to hurt, causing casualties and things like that.
:: Easy to notice.
:: 5 Post Cooldown.

Description
Aedre closes her eyes for a second, while calling out the name of this spell. A black magic circle with a Dragon's head motif appears beneath her feet and then one can see her body gaining a wild, pitch black aura that look like flames. When this spell is active, Aedre is capable of turning into a shadow without the cost of extra MP. She can also use it for transporting herself from one place to another in a ten meter diameter. While Shadow Stepping she can move at a speed that is roughly 3/4 of the speed of light. While this spell is active, it passively increases the strength of Aedre's physical attacks and their area impact damage is doubled, meaning that her physical strength and reaction timing rivals a Slayer who's one Rank above her.
Strengths
:: This spell is excellent to get closer to the opponents while dealing heavy damage, setting them up for close-range combos.
:: The speed at which Aedre travels makes it hard to dodge this spell. Prior knowledge is needed in order to dodge, something hard to do especially when she's coming from a concealed area.
:: While in her Shadow form, all physical attacks and spells of C Rank or below will simply pass through Aedre.
:: 10 Posts Duration.
Weaknesses
:: Spells of B Rank and above will still damage Aedre.
:: The speed at which she moves makes it very hard to change direction mid-movement and can thus cause her to collide with unexpected obstructions.
:: Light based spells of B Rank or above can damage Aedre while at the same time breaking the effects of this spell then and there.
:: Aedre must be able to see the places she wants to travel to.
:: 12 Posts cooldown.
