Ink-Make vs Shadow (Matabei V. Rita)

Rita let out a maniacal laugh as her weapon pierced through Matabei's stomach. She smiled at the sight of her blood that trickled off the blade. Matabei was now on the ground now weak and wide open. She began slowly getting closer. Rita could see that she was crying and frightened now, but that couldn't stop her she continued to  bear down on Matabei. "Damn girlie....You got me good." She then admitted to Rita  "But before you go and off me.....could ya tell me why you wanna end me? Just so I understand the reasoning." She continued . "Your wasting your breath, But as a dying wish i'll tell you-" Rita replied with a grin. "Your little guild ruined her life- They took her family..." She yelled "And in return i'm going to destroy you then the rest of your guild! Then afterwards I'll kill that backstabbing sister!" She said laughing insanely through her statement, raising her blade above Matabei.

5 minutes ago -Rita's Mind-

Rita stood in what appeared to be a room but everything around her was so dark that she in fact couldn't see the only light was the pale and small circle of light that she stood in,and across her there was another light in it stood the shadowy figure of a cloaked woman.
"I told you to stop this!" Rita yelled across to the woman
"I thought this was what you wanted. You wanted to make everyone pay..." She hissed back to Rita
"t-this is wrong." Rita continued now beginning to feel fearful
"How is it wrong... They destroyed your life, didn't they."
"Yes..."
"Then stop complaining and we will be able to kill her ...together."
"No- Stop making my choices! Who the hell are you?!"
"...I'm your shadow. I will keep you safe and make sure you get everything you have ever dreamed of, Your complete revenge. Just lend me your power."
"N-No! I asked who are you!"
"Oh so you want the specific details how about my name now lets try this again... I go by Hakai If you don't mind- I am a shadow...Your shadow now." Hakai Sneered in an annoyed tone.
"M-My shadow?...-That does not change a thing I won't let you do this!"
"Then I will force you too, Rita"
"W-What do you mean..."
The darkness that filled the space between them soon began to grow around Rita and it began to to pull her into it. "I said stop this!" Rita yelled after her. Hakai just began to laugh as she watched her try to get out of it. Soon enough Rita had been consumed by the darkness completely, The last thing she was able to see before she was enveloped in darkness was Hakai's eyes that sisterly flared a blood red.

Matabei coughed up a bit more blood as she laughed slightly at what Rita was saying. "So you're going to kill me for the sins of others?" Matabei's laugh was hollow, and she couldn't tell the changes Rita had gone through. "Then by all means take me and them down. Cause I certainly would love to see you get her killed trying." Matabei knew the person talking wasn't Rita anymore, she wasn't that hurt. But that didn't mean she'd let whoever took over just use the girl's body willy nilly for some stupid revenge plot. "There are stronger members of Savage Skull than me, and each of them won't take the injustice of killing me lightly. They will mobilize to kill you, so don't do something stupid." Matabei coughed up more blood, feeling weaker and weaker. "Besides. You would need more than just yourself to destroy Savage." Matabei looked around in order to try and find something she could distract Rita with, and noticed a puddle of ink. She reached for it while still trying to distract Rita with conversation. "But by all means, kill me if it makes you pleased."

"You really should stop talking your only going to bleed out quicker that way," She said raising her blade. "I wan't to kill you myself..." She hissed. Hakai then stabbed down towards Matabei only to be stopped when the blade was centimeters away from piercing her chest. her grip tightened on the blade as her arm began to tremble. "...Why are you interfering?" Hakai asked out. "Like I said before- T-This is wrong." Rita's voice said. "She may or may not be responsible for ruining my life- but I cant kill some one because of that-It isn't right." Rita now said clearly only to have her actions and speech taken from her once again. "You pathetic bitch- If you won't kill her I will." Hakai's voice rang out as she moved the blade to Matabei's throat. "This is your end, Savage..." She hissed.

Suddenly blood was splattered across the floor of the arena as everything soon grew dead quiet. It was then revealed that the blood was Rita's. She had impaled herself through the chest."D-Damn you..." Hakai hissed before getting booted out of Rita's conscienceA grimace came to Rita's face as she fell back into the ground with her own weapon lodged into her. Now on the ground, Rita looked to Matabei who was down as well. "I'm sorry things haven't gone as planed- She was interrupted as she coughed more blood up but continued. "Get out of here before I kill you..." Rita now whispered fearing that it would come back.

Matabei got up slowly and wobbled on her feet as she looked at Rita, still clutching the bleeding wound. "I'd still die. No one will help a dark guild member like myself." Matabei chuckled hollowly, her face not betraying the despair she felt at the time. She knew her death was close, and thus she went over to the girl and and pulled the blade out of her. It came out with a sickening squish, and tried to examine the girl's wound as best as another injured person could. Matabei chuckled again, and picked the girl up on her back, holding Rita's sword in her left hand while her right tried to keep Rita on her back. "I can....at least get you some help. If anything, I can get you to a doctor or something." Matabei started to trudge her way to the exit of the arena, hoping to at least get Rita help, even if it meant her own demise in the process. She had some honor, and she was not going to allow someone else she fought to die by anything but her own hands.

Rita cringed with the pain she felt having her weapon yanked out of her chest. Rita feared that Matabei was up to something. "Why would she help her enemy like this?" Rita thought. Matabei then quietly laughed before she hoisted her onto her back."I can....at least get you some help. If anything, I can get you to a doctor or something." Matabei told her. Rita tried to say something but only blood came. Rita  tried to speak finding the little air she had in her lungs to say her words. "Your going...to get yourself killed. J-Just... Go take care of yourself... you still have a chance." Rita whispered "I practically lost to you...I'm weak. A weak person isn't worth the effort Matabei,...and why are you trying to help your enemy...?" She asked weakly.

Matabei simply chuckled hollowly as she continued to carry Rita, not giving a damn about her own injuries at the moment. "Girlie, the entire world is my damned enemy." Matabei continued, her vision growing worse by the minute. Still, she noticed a small clinic, one that they could probably get patched up at or something. She continued to drag herself forward, hoping that she could at least get there before she passed out from blood loss. "And I help whoever I please, so there's that. You have a-Geh!-a future, so im going to make sure you can see that." Matabei mentioned in her maid voice, that personality taking over as she trudged her way over to the clinic painfully. She would not let Rita just die on her today, not without her own hands finishing the job at least. And seeing as how the girl had put herself in this state, Matabei wouldn't be killing her anytime soon.

"T-Trust me we don't need a doctor..." Rita said as strongly as she could despite her wound in her chest. "I need you to trust me on this one," She told Matabei. "I-I can heal you...this way y-you don't get found out..." She sputtered, holding onto Matabei tighter as she cringed trying to stand the pain. "Just... take me over t-to that tree... in the shade..." Rita told Matabei as she weakly pointed to a nearby tree growing up from a bed of dirt.

Matabei grunted and began to walk over to the tree slowly. She felt herself slowly losing her grip, and she noticed the blood flowing a bit faster. She rushed as fast as she could, and started panting slightly. She manged to make it to tree and place Rita down, before she fell to the ground hard. Matabei could barely feel anything, and she tried to sit up, but only managed to flip herself onto her back. She looked at Rita, who she could barely make out anymore, and spoke weakly to her. "Whatever you're going to do Rita......you.....better make it fast...." Matabei felt herself losing life, and if Rita could save her she would be indebted to the woman for the rest of her life.

Matabei managed to get them over into the shade,a simple task that must of been hard regarding their injuries. Rita was in much pain but feared Matabei's condition over her own. Rita hoped Matabei wouldn't flinch if this hurt because that could easily mess up the whole process. Rita's healing ability was intended to only be used on herself but Rita figured out a few loop holes in the technique allowing her to heal others open injuries. While Rita still had enough strength.She rolled up her jacket sleeves a bit past her elbows and rested her hand down on the pavement where the trees shadow cast over and her other hand on Matabei's wound. "This might sting 'a little bit...'" Rita said trying to reassure Matabei that the pain wasn't as immense as it would be when she healed people other than herself. Dark glowing streams began to trail up her arm from where she had her hand in the shade. The dark energy trailed down her arm that held Matabei's wound. When the streams of shadow energy came in contact it would send a cold icy pain through out Matabei's body. The shadowy aura began weaving itself through her wounds like a needle through thread, By the time Rita's work was done there were only a few traces of injury internally that would need to heal on there own. Rita had the choice to heal Matabei completely or just slightly but Rita drained all of her strength into Matabei's health and it was coming back at her Rita cringed and looked down at her arms, when the shadows disbursed Rita had very faint scars braceleted her arms in a  runic pattern. Rita proceeded to pull her sleeves back down over it  as she looked back to Matabei weakly. "F-Fe-Feeling... better....?" Rita asked as she wobbled before she tiredly collapsed into the ground.

Hp:10% (Matabei gains 30% HP in exchange of 15% of Rita's health)

Matabei bit her lip in order to quell any screams when Rita started healing her. She felt better after the process, but it hurt extremely while it was going on. Matabei settled for clenching her fist now and again, and just waiting for Rita to finish. When she did, Matabei sprung her plan into action, immediately wincing when she sat up. It hurt a lot to get off the ground like that, but Rita had just fallen unconscious and needed some medical attention. Matabei ripped off some of her cape and wrapped it around her guild tattoo, in order to hide the evidence of where she came from. She went over and picked Rita up princess style, and began to run over to the clinic she spotted earlier. She was tired and ragged, but Rita needed medical attention soon. She stumbled into the clinic, and nearly dropped Rita. Matabei kept her balance, and continued to look for someone to help.

Everything had faded off into darkness to Rita, It wasn't as menacing darkness as you would picture when your life was slipping away. Rita's life soon began to flash before her eyes she could see familiar scenes coming into play and hear familiar voices. The scenery soon began to become realer and realer to Rita. She was now sitting on the edge of a canyon the sky was gloomy and rainy while the wind was cold and humid. Rain began to fall as voices began to cloud her mind.
"I-ISoko...What are you doing?"
"Akari just run!"
"R-R-Run?"
"It's already to late."
"To la-"
A strike of lightning illuminated the canyon as Rita remembered how quickly Isoko ran her sister through and proceeded to roll her corpse into the canyon before her eyes that day.
"AKARI!"
The memory of Isoko kicking Rita to the ground and beating her nearly to death with the hilt of her blade while no one was there to save her was remembered. She felt the immense pain from it and it felt so real to Rita-As if she was dying again at the moment.
"H-Hey you there!"
"Cmon wake up!"
"It-hurts..."
"It sure looks painful...Here I'll take you back to my guild and fix you up."
"Th-Thanks..."
Rita grimaced as the scene around her transitioned from the canyon to a dead forest that was blanketed with a dense layer of fog.A scene Rita saw years later. Rita began trailing through it as more voices and memories came to her.
"W-Where did it come from?!"
"Heck if I know... just keep on running..."
"...Rita"
"Wh-What is it?"
"I'm sorry about this...It was an order."
"M-Meiyo what are you going on ab-
Rita remembered the sensation of her being tripped and tumbling back while her copanion ran forward without her leaving her for death. The creature that chased them could not be seen for it was a  shadow It nearly killed Rita but with luck she managed to live that day.

Rita was lost in thought completely un-aware of what was happening to her in reality. She was dying.
