Find This Book (Rita)

Job Inormation:

Rita had just arrived and was leaving the train station now. Rita was here on her first job to find this book that an elderly woman desired. She had no other intentions other than to find this book and to get her reward then after that she will go who knows where. Rita didn't like the idea of becoming part of a guild she felt that that idea wasn't even possible, for who would accept some one who used to be in savage skull into there ranks. Joining a guild wasn't the problem at hand so Rita got herself back on track as she headed to find the elderly woman's address. She walked through the lightly populated streets. Things were nice and peaceful She wondered if this is why they call the place "Peaceful Village". "Where is this house on top of some hill 10 miles away I don't see it anywhere?!" Rita thought to herself as she looked down at the address she had written down in black marker on her arm. Sighing she then realized it was best for her to ask for directions. Rita looked around what few people she saw before were gone. "Where did everyo-" she was interrupted mid statement by a cheerful voice behind her that said, "Hi there!"

Rita spun around drawing her blade,Rapture, from her sheath and held it out startled. She soon realized that her weapon was pointed to a little girl, seven? possibly eight, who wore her short dark blue hair in pigtails; and a plaid print summer dress. Rita noticed she just had drawn her weapon on a child and lowered it. "Cool! what does this do?" The girl said as she pulled the blade from Rita's hands and began messing with it. "little girl! That isn't a toy!" She said nervously as she swiped it from her hands. "Oh." The girl said before laughing. "Whatcha doing Miss, You look lost." The girl asked as she looked up at Rita. "...Uh I'm a bit lost I cant find this house..." Rita replied to the child. The child tilted her head to read the marketed text on Rita's arm. "Oh!! I know where that house is!" The girl said joyfully. "So- Whats your name Miss lady?" She then asked. "Oh... It's Rita whats your name kid?" She Responded. "I'm Maddison!"She responded excitedly. "Now its time to get you to the house Rita Miss!" Madison said as she grabbed Rita's hand and dragged her down the next road.

Madison and Rita soon arrived at a cottage on the outer edge of the village. "This is it Rita Miss!" Madison said. Madison stepped to the door rather then knocking on it she kicked it in breaking the door in onto itself. "Who knew a kid like her could have such strength?!?!?!?!" Rita thorough alarmed. "Oi Grammy i'm home!" Madison called out as she walked in steeping on top of the remains of the door. Rita pushed the splintered wood in the doorway aside with her foot before slowly following Madison in the house. Soon a short grey haired woman trailed into the entryway bearing a cane. "Eh...?" She tilted her head and pushed her glassed up higher on her eyes as she scanned Rita. "Madison darling, Is this...A friend of yours?" The woman asked. "Well I ju-" Rita began when Madison jumped in "Yeah Rita miss and I are great friends now Grammy!~" The elderly woman nodded and gave a smile. "It's nice to know your making friends sweetie." She said as she messed up Madison's hair. "Uh well You are Carolyn right ma'am? I'm here for the job." Rita announced. "That's me! Finally some one has showed up for the job this must be a blessing!"She cheered as she shook Rita's hand. "Uh..yes I just came by to let you know, Well that book is not going to find itself I'll be back with it soon." Rita said as she left through the broken in doorway.

Rita eventually made it to the library after wandering around for an hour or two. She walked up the steps rushingly. Just as she began to reach for the handle on the entry doors they flew open outward smacking her as a herd of kids ran out laughing followed by the librarian who had chased them out. She stooped at the top of the steps letting out a sigh. The doors swung shut once again leaving Rita's eyes spinning comically. The librarian noticed this and they rushed over to her. "Miss? Hello? Ma'am!" They said as they shook her. "W-Wait What?!" Rita shouted confused as she snapped out of it. Her vision focused revealing the librarian as a guy who appeared to be in his mid-twenties who had short copper hair. "You just took a hit from that door, Are you alright?" The librarian asked. "Yeah. I'm fine I was just here to find this book." Rita said as she looked back down at her arm with the job information on it including the books title that happened to be Search For A Soul. The librarian sighed seeming to be troubled by this fact before leading her in. The library was massive shelves stacked up upon more shelf's covering all of the walls with media although this library was impressive it seemed to be a bit un-organized many of the books were lying around on tables and even the floor. Some books weren't even placed on the shelf right some upside down or even put in spine first.

"What happened here?"

"I am dealing with quite a mess here those kids thought it would be fun to re arranged all of the books." He explained with a sigh ashamed in the condition of the library. "Sorry about the trouble ma'am I'm Derek What is your name?" He said as he held out a hand. Rita sighed and shook it "Rita." She responded dully. "*Rita* that isn't a name I've come by often: Greek for pearl, You certainly are dazzling like one~"He said to her in flirty tone as he pecked her hand. Rita to pulled her hand away feeling a bit alarmed and paused. "Uhh...I have a book to find." She said as she ran off to another part of the library. She sighed putting herself back in order. "I don't have any time to deal with creeps! I have got a book to find." She thought to herself. So she skimmed the shelves to no avail. She decided to go try another shelf and shuffle through another pile of books on a table still not making any progress. Rita just decided to start pulling stacks of books off the shelf and put them on a table to scan through. Guide To Healing Magic "Nope" Rabbit And The Vulcan "Nope." Fire Breathing Behemoth "Nope." She said tossing the titles aside, The next book she picked up seemed to give her the strangest feeling but she didn't know what it meant so she looked down at the book Crimson "I would hold onto that." she heard some one hiss, her voice seemed a bit "disorient" for it seemed to be echoing as if it was coming from deep inside of a cave. Rita looked up looking around no one was there she put her hand to her head "I guess I'm hearing things... Just in case...I don't think one would hurt" she thought guiltily as she slipped the book into her bag.

Rita decided to walk over to another shelf where she continued scanning the titles one after another until yet another book gave her a feeling. So she pulled the book out of the shelf this book was blue and it had a golden rim It was a very similar design to Crimson in fact although Crimson was Red with a silver rim. Rita held the mysterious blue book in her hands She felt like it was calling her the exact same way Crimson had. Cerulean the title read in golden text. "...Take it." The voice said again. This time Rita didn't bother questioning it so she slipped it in her bag along with the other book. "Crimsion & Cerulean" She wondered as she continued to scan through the books when her finger came across a title that made her heart stop. Search For A Soul. She swiped it off the shelf and victoriously lifted it high above her head Until a kid on a skate board flew over her and swiped it out of her hands. "Mine now!" The kid stuck the landing and skated out through the library's doorway and off the stairs railing. Rita ran out after the kid "Hey get back here!" Rita yelled out as he skated further away. Rita needed to find out a way to catch up to this kid and fast. She kicked up a spare skate board that was left on the steps prehaps one another kid had lost. She pushed herself off the board and grinned the railing with it to reach the street in a pursuit to catch the kid.

Rita skated after the brat that had swiped her book she kept pushing off the ground to get closer to him "Hey kid you should give that back." Rita called out but he seemed to ignore her This irritated her and a tick mark appeared on her head comically. "Damn this brat!!!"Rita thought. "You asked for this kid!" Rita called after him as she pushed her arms ahead of her "Shadow make:Wall!" at that moment a dark energy formed itself together in the shape of a wall the kid then rode his skate board right into it and crashed. Rita stopped on the board and walked up to him and offered them help up. "Listen this is why you should not cause trouble for other people." Rita said sternly as she helped him up to his feet. "Oh..I'm sorry about that-I was just trying to have some fun ..." the kid said as he handed over the book Rita needed. "Its fine, just stay out of trouble."Rita said forcing a smile at the kid. "Mkay then..."

Soon Rita arrived back at Carolyn's cottage. When Rita walked in Madison tackle hugged her in a comical fasion."Ritaaaaa Misss!!!" she cried as she crashed into her. "Wait-Woah!" Rita shouted as she was tackled down by Madison. "Uhh... You missed me that much?" Rita said as a she got back up to her feet dusting herself off.

"So Your back. I thought you gave up, Have you found the book I asked for?" Carolyn asked as she hobbled over with her cane. Rita nodded and offered the book to the old woman. Carolyn looked down at the book and smiled bringing it to her arms. The old woman then looked back up at the wizard pleased with her work "Thank you Rita" Rita then was about to take her leave then Carolyn said something else "Girl, Just know I have faith in you. Rita said something in response to her before leaving "I leave that impression on allot of people." Rita responded looking back at the old woman as she let out a playful laugh. "Oh and you almost forgot this you know." Carolyn said handing over Rita's reward money. Rita exchanged a bit of an embarrassed chuckle and left with her money walking over the door Madison had broken down earlier that morning.

Madison tugged at Carolyn's arm "So why did you need to pretend to be an old hag and have Rita go to the library and get this book we don't even need it just seems pointless."Madison asked curiously. "Well Darling..." Carolyn said before a light grew around body her and faded off leaving her looking years and years younger, she now looked to be in her early Thirties her hair was now blue instead of its worn down grey. "Allow me to explain," Carolyn began as she patted the child's head and playfully messed up her hair. "The reason I put on this whole act was to make sure Rita found Sabrina and Hakai's journal's. That way she can find out what happened to the scythe.You know the one I've marveled about in all those bed time stories?" Carolyn explained to Madison picking her words carefully as she brought her gaze to the text Rita had left in her hands. "I still don't get it Ma, why of all people would you want her to find the scythe?" Madison asked in a bit of a stubborn tone crossing her arms. "Because, I know if she finds it the scythe will be in good hands and Sabrina will never be able to find it or bother us again." Carolyn responded as she looked down at her child with a smile.

Rita was back on the train now. "Not bad for a first job,I managed to get it done only spending an hour or two" Rita thought to herself as she checked the time. She then looked down at her satchel. "I wonder..." Rita thought tempted to look through the tittles that were still in her bag. Rita couldn't resist the temptation and dug both Crimson and Cerulean out of the bag. She looked at the text then down at the authors heading the books.

Crimson By: Hakai Madoka

Cerulean By: Sabrina Tayoru.

Rita could clearly point out how how similar these books were to each other the binding shape and font of both books were identical. Differences being that Crimson bore the Color's red and gold while Cerulean was the exact opposite; blue and silver. Rita was telling herself to put the books away and not worry about it but then she thought about the voice that tempted her to take them. She wondered for a minute who's voice that she head let alone why they were interested in these books. Rita then pushed the red book aside bringing the blue in to her attention first. Rita skimmed the first page.

"Cerulean, A journal by Hakai Madoka"

The wizard then brought the red book to her attention next, reading its first page as well

"Crimson, A journal by Sabrina Tayoru"

"I-I don't feel like reading anyway..." Rita mumbled a bit uncertain as she shut them before slipping them both in her bag.
