The Radiant Dawn (Official Team RP)

Alexander Zenneth sat at a table in one of the private rooms of Sabretooth. He spent all morning planning this little idea he had going around his head. There were several plates of cookies baked with hellfire from Alexander's free time. They were chocolate chip cookies for the group to grab before they got to the serious mission. People have called his cookies as sinfully delicious, but could not compete with mages dedicated to cooking. Was it a bribe? No, but it would ease the process a bit more as they entered one by one. He sat down on the chair and awaited their arrival. He was not nervous or worried, they either would like the idea or refuse it.

"Good afternoon everyone. Please take a cookie and some milk for the meeting. There is much to discuss."

Indar had been invited by Alexander to some kind of meeting in a private room at Sabertooth, he had no clue what it was about. Even if Alexander had told him, Indar wouldn't remember.
Indar opened the door to the room and saw only Alexander there, sitting behind a table. Cookies and milk, guess he really has something to discuss and it has to be important, otherwise it wouldn't be cookies and milk. Indar took a seat, grabbed some cookies and waited for Alexander to say what this meeting was a bout.

Hana sighed, blinking her eyes a few times. She was tired. And still, she had to attend two meetings that day. One was Takashi's regular meeting, and the other was her team meeting. Recently, she'd been invited to join a team led by Zenneth, and she agreed. She hadn't been in a team before, and even if she had, her teams were only temporary. But this time, it should be permanent. Well, at least until she either dies, the group is disbanded or something else.

Hana arrived at the given room for the meeting, her nose catching a whiff of baked goodies from inside. It smelt a lot like cookies. Opening the door, the ruby-eyed girl took her seat, in which was closer to Alexander, for she felt much more familiar with him. She took on look at the milk and cookies. Then, when she saw the others eating, she hesitantly took one, and took a small bite out of it. These were honestly the best cookies she'd ever tasted. Well, aside from her brother's. Mikoto's would always be the best to her. Hana remained silent, waiting for Alexander to speak as she munched on the cookies silently. Maybe meetings weren't that bad after all, aside from the problems and reports you had to sort out. Heck, if every meeting she went to had free cookies, Hana honestly wouldn't mind going to even a hundred meetings a week. If that was even possible of course.

"You guys are sooo talkative." a sarcastic voice said from seemingly nowhere. The sound was generated from Viola, although it wasn't her voice. The source of the voice didn't hesitate to reveal herself, as a normal human arm sprouted itself from Viola's abdomen, where there was a bit of shadow. The hand on the arm reached out and grabbed a cookie before quickly retreating back inside Viola.

"You could at least say "hi" when you come in the room. Jeez, I hope it's not this quiet all the time." the source of the voice said, this time manifesting itself as the upper half of a normal human body that sprouted itself from the center of Hana's back. Priscilla, being her usual oddball self, seemed to refuse to want to fully remove herself from inside people's shadow. At the moment, anywhere above her waist was the only part that was outside of the people's shadows, and currently she was coming out of Hana's back and looking over the girl's shoulder at everyone in the room.

"Well then." she said with a mouthful of cookie. "Now what?"

Alexander nodded as each of the people entered the room. Indar was straight to business and eating cookies. Viola was attacking the cookies. Hana was being a robot and also eating cookies. Priscilla was being the oddball and eating cookies. This actually caused Alexander to chuckle, they were all united by a sweet tooth. "Hello and good day to you all. I think next time I may need to bring twice as much sweets. Maybe doughnuts. Hmmm...."

Alexander casually walked across the room and started his little talk. "It has come to my attention that we are all new to Sabretooth and don't have a team yet. I wish to correct it. What I am proposing that everyone at the table join this new team so that we have people that we can count on to make us stronger. For the fist will crush what lone fingers can't. I am also proposing no leadership for this group, we are all equal and put to vote any major decisions for this team. That way we remain flexible, effective and not stuck in 1 way of thinking." Alexander took a cookie and started eating it slowly. Damn he outdid himself this time. Cooking food with hellfire made things sinfully delicious. He was so opening up a bakery when he retires.

Indar was enjoying the snack Alexander had provided. A lot of people had entered the room and had taken their seats. Also Indar couldn't even explain one of them even, he was too disturbed by the sight. But at least she had broken the ice and as Alexander stood up and explained why he had invited them here, Indar fell into a deep thought. Could he work in a team, he had tried it once but that didn't end well. Still a team could be fun, especially a team with these people. He didn't know them at all, only the the most basic things. But getting to know them might be fun. And the no leadership seemed like a good idea, so thinking done.

Well Alexander, i'd be all for a team.

Hana's head tilted to the side in confusion when a hand reached out from another girl's abdomen. Was that a sort of magic? Or was that simply her hallucinating due to lack of sleep? Sure, she had hallucinated some things before, but seeing something as weird an extreme as this would mean she really needed sleep.

Thud. Hana's attention returned to the girl when she fell out of her chair upon seeing the arm. Alright, that meant she probably wasn't seeing things. After all, she had seen the girl speak earlier on about them being talkative without opening her mouth, so that had to mean that the hand belonged to someone else. That, or she was an expert at ventriloquism.

Then, Hana turned her around back slightly upon hearing another voice, spotting a blonde girl... Protruding out of her back. It was quite peculiar, but she was unsure how to react, so she simply remained silent. She then listens intently as Alexander spoke, not wanting to miss out any information. So he had wanted the team to be run by democracy. Hana wasn't really sure on this. She'd never been in a team without a leader before. She was honestly better off at following orders and decisions, not making them, unless she was in charge. Hana felt unsure. This did have advantages and disadvantages. After all, she was known to have abandoned comrades before... "I... Accept." she said hesitantly.

"I mean." Priscilla began, still chewing a bit of cookie. "I don't have anything better to do so. I guess I'm in." she said, swallowing the last bit of her cookie. She would prefer doughnuts to cookies, but you can't be picky about the things someone gives to you for free. Just take it and be happy you got something without having to buy it or go through the hassle of finding it.

Priscilla sunk into Hana's back once more, shifting herself through the shadows until she found her way out of Alex's back. She did the same thing she did with Hana, and exited the shadows on his back, but only from her waist up actually came up. She did this to get a good look of the people in front of her, seeing who she would be on a team with. Alex and her had already done a job or two together, so she was familiar with him to some degree, but she had no clue who these other people were.

"Do we get on with introductions then?"

Alexander chuckled at Priscilla’s antics and comment. His personal space was violated enough times that he got used to it by now. Telling her no would be like stopping a hurricane, just not worth it. However she did have a point and thus said, “Yes Priscilla is right. I guess we should introduce ourselves, tell us your magic and declare your goal. Okay, my name is Alexander Zenneth, Flame Demons slayer and my goal is the demon that enslaved me and tortured me for 5 years.” He then looked around the table and listened to each of them one by one as they introduced themselves. Noticing the plate was gone he sighed and pulled a plate of chocolate doughnuts and brownies from under the table. He immediately grabbed one before they were all gone. “And you can guess my hobby is cooking.”

As Indar listened to Alexander explain, he understood he was next. He had to think of something quickly, but the brownies got the best of him before that. Alexander finished speaking while Indar still had his mouth full of brownies. He just loved them, the best food in the world. He swallowed, and started to speak. Name's Indar Blackshield, I use Abyssal magic and well as for a goal, there really isn't one. With that, he didn't speak more and just stuffed another brownie into his mouth.

Hana stared at the blonde girl behind her, wanting to see whether she could actually touch her. She reached her hand out towards the girl's face, but stopped when she disappeared. Perhaps another time. she thought to herself, shrugging.

Hana felt rather disappointed when she saw that the plate of cookies was empty. Then, Alexander pulled out a plate of doughnuts and brownies, in which Hana was thankful for. She had skilled breakfast, and she loved sweet things. Chocolates were also her favorites, though she did like cookies more. She grabbed a brownie for herself, eating it in small mouths to savor the the taste, as she listened to everyone's introductions. When the others ha finished their introductions, Hana chewed and swallowed the last bit of her brownie. "I'm Hana Suzuki. I use metal-make, and my goals are..." she paused for a moment, thinking back to when she had her first mission with Alexander. Perhaps her wanting to be strong was too brief. "I want to be a powerful mage, and protect my family." she said, before grabbing a doughnut.

Priscilla stared at the doughnuts for a moment before leaping out of Alex's back and onto the table, grabbing two of the doughnuts and then leaping across the room, leaping into the shadow Indar cast behind him.

"They're mine! You can't have them!" she shouted from the shadows before protruding from a shadow on the wall. Looking down at her team, she noticed she was getting strange stares. "I'm obsessed with doughnuts, in case you're too dense to understand." she said before sinking back into the wall shadow.

"I am Priscilla Lorelei, user of Ghostly Ripple magic. I am here... because I'm bored. I have no other reason to be here." she explained from the shadows, trying to keep out of sight. It didn't really dawn on her that she had probably just made a fool of herself, since she was too busy indulging herself in the doughnuts she had grabbed.

Alexander said out loud, "Mental note. Bring more doughnuts to other meetings." Alexander paid attention and noted everyone's reasons and magic. This was going going to be interesting. A sociopath, a pyromaniac, an alcoholic, a nutball and anti-social girl all in 1 guild. A team of insane people united under cookies. Alexander was going to talk about potential strategies. They needed to have some form of teamwork planned out after all. "Okay firs- What the hell?" It was at this moment that something cute and weird happened in radiant dawn. Something completely random and unexpected.

And it was coming from Indar...

Indar in a flash of light had turned into a black and white cat. Really you activated now you stupid talisman, Indar yelled in anger. He didn't really like being a cat but a crazed mage had planted a talisman into his body that made him turn into a cat every now and then. He just watched around, looking at everyone, until curling up into a ball, ashamed. He didn't look up but instead had fallen asleep, well he was a cat.

Hana's head tilted to one side - again - when the strange girl had suddenly made a mad dash for the doughnuts, then disappeared ino the shadow Indar had cast behind him, then reappearing from another shadow on the wall, shouting that the doughnuts were hers, and that none of them could have them, and then informing them that she had an obsession with doughnuts.

Then, after Priscilla's sudden outburst, Hana witnessed Indar suddenly dissapear in a flash of light. She leaned forwards slightly to look for him, only to find a small, adorable cat in his place. She blinked, confused by the sudden event. Was that Indar? Or had he been switched with a normal cat? It was only when he yelled out in anger that she got a brief idea of what happened. He'd somehow acquired a peculiar talisman that transformed him into a cat. So that meant it was something like a curse, or a spell?

Before Hana could even get up and grab Indar, Viola had beat her to it and began hugging Indar, squealing like a little girl. Though she had to agree with the girl, Indar was cute - for now at least. Plus, she was an animal lover herself. Hana continued staring at the furball Viola was holding onto, blocking out the girl's pointless rantings which seemed to be never ending.

When Priscilla noticed that Indar had turned into a cat, her first reaction was to try and grab him so she could pet him. Unfortunately for her (and Indar), Viola got to him first. "Hey no fair. Don't hog the Indar-cat, I wanna pet him too." she whined, staring at the cat for a few moments from the shadows before shifting around in them to literally leap out of Alex's back, landing on the floor just behind him.

"Are we gonna obsess over the Indar-cat or are we gonna get some business done? Personally I would prefer the former, but..." she said, looking at the man/cat that was currently being hugged and pet by Viola. Priscilla had a love for animals, although it was a bit less childish than Viola's love for them. Priscilla's was a bit more... philosophical? Was that the word? No, maybe not...

"Ah, damnit." she mumbled to herself, putting her hand to her chin as she stared off into space, thinking of the proper wording for what she was thinking about.

Alexander just face palmed, this meeting got sidetracked by someone turning into a cat. Instead of worried people, they were ogling over him. It was official, the team was crazier than Alexander. He set his hands down and said, "Okay everyone, if we are going to be ogling the Indar-cat then everyone must take turns. Vy you get him first and pass him along." Alexander was salvaging the meeting as best as he could.

Alexander said out loud, "So is there anything that someone wants to add to the meeting aside from what sweets we have next meeting? Questions on how we function or are we just going to wing it? I am fine either way. My suggestion? I vote we make Indarcat our mascot. All in favor say aye."

Indar was being cuddled and petted by Viola, as he looked around he saw that Hana and Priscilla wanted to pet him as well. He sighed, he never really minded being a cat, it was relaxing actually, but this was maybe a little too much. He hadn't ever been petted while in cat form or even touched actually as most people had found it weird. But just when he heard what Alexander was saying, I vote we make Indarcat our mascot. All in favor say aye. This made Indar nervous, he didn't want to be a mascot, so Um, if i have a say in this, I will say no.

Hana watched as the not-so-happy Indar-cat was being hugged and swung around by Viola a she danced about the roll, before hearing Alexander's suggestion about making him their mascot. Hana thought for a while, then shrugged. Why not? "Aye." she said, continuously eyeing the Indar-cat. She really wanted to hold him badly. His fur looked so soft and fluffy, and he was most definitely tamed. Hana opened her mouth to ask Viola for a chance to hold the cat, but decided not to at the last minute, and closed her mouth shut, remaining silent.
