Haunted Waters[Raina,Nightken]

Sitting at the coast of the Graveyard Sea In between the Haunted Village and the Ancient Ruins with his silver wyvern who was snacking on a deer it caught a few minutes ago he waited for his teammate to show up. "This is the first time I've done a job with Raina should be interesting." He said a loud as he fell on his back staring at the sky. It was a calm day with a few clouds, but he didn't trust it since the weather can take a dramatic change when at sea. Looking at the sky he started to get sleepy and suddenly fell asleep while waiting. He started dreaming about the stuff he did as a kid with Izunagi, but was viewing it as he is now. He watched the good and the bad times even though they weren't related he was still treated like a son which actually made him happy. Those were the days when he didn't have a care in the world, until that fateful day when he lost the only person who cared for him. He can't ever forget it for that image will haunt him forever. He woke up in a bit of a cold sweat and breathing heavily, looking around he didn't see anyone around just Tenshu sleeping behind him. "Why of all times to remember that incident I just want to be able to forget that." He said to himself as he took out a magic cigarette and lit it.

Raina was late. Really late. She ran as fast as she could to the meeting spot, but sadly tripped on a pebble and landed in the dirt with a thud. "Owieeeee!!! For someone who controls the elements with her mind, you would think I wouldn't trip over pebbles! Wait... who the hell am I talking to? Geez, get a grip Raina. Night is waiting!" She quickly got her self back on her feet and brushed the dirt off her clothes. "Ah man! This was a new dress." She walked towards the ancient ruins and spots her Guild member, Night, there with his pet Wyvern. She remembers meeting Night along time ago when she first joined the guild, but never really got a chance to work with him. It seems like some members of Fairy Tail are a little hesitant or reluctant to talk to her. It could be for a bunch of different reasons. For one She is known as the Princess of Fairy Tail due to her connections. Ebony, the guild leader was Raina's best friend so that could cause issues. There was also Leo, one of the strongest wizards in the guild. Dating him could cause fear of his wraith if someone tried something with her. She was happy when Night asked her about making a team together. Raina did not know who would work with her now that she was back. Most of the newbies were afraid of her, and others just didn't like her.

"Hey Night! Sorry I'm late!" She called out to her ally. "I hope you didn't wait long. Are you ready for this?"

Raina showed up as he took the first hit on the cigarette. "No I wasn't waiting long. Let's get going otherwise those crew members might not be there by the time we arrive." He said holding the cigarette in his right hand as smoke came from his mouth as he spoke. Walking over to Tenshu he put his hand on the wyvern's head to wake him. The massive beast let out a large yawn that seemed a bit comedic to Nightken. "Come on time for us to get to work." He said as he climbed onto the wyvern's back. Helping Raina up Tenshu took off towards the spot the crew members disappeared. As flew over the ocean they saw a large array of things moving in the water, but none were what they were looking for. As they traveled a whale jumped out of the water almost hitting them Tenshu dodged it with ease. As it landed in the water he let out a roar at the whale most likely complaining, but it was at least interesting to see one that close. He finished off his cigarette after about ten minutes of flying and threw the butt toward the ocean as it turned into vapor. "They said there was fog, but I don't see any at all." He said aloud as they saw the shapes of fish and a somewhat large squid in the water. There was a small patch of land ahead that seemed like a good spot to let Tenshu take a small break and try to figure out possible spots they might be with in this ocean.

The ocean water hold many mysteries and phenomenon that is unthinkable to anyone. What dark secret was it hiding now? What was terrorizing this ship's crew? They flew on the back of Tenshu, Nightken's wyvern. They knew they needed to find these people and fast. They also knew they needed to eliminate whatever threat was out there. Raina's long hair blew in the wind as they flew. Her crimson eyes scanning the ocean blue below. "Goddess help them. Where are this people at? It's like the ocean is hiding their location from us."

She let out a quit sigh as she continued to scan the area. "This isn't working." She thought to herself. She tried to concentrate on the water, letting her magic flow through her body. She wanted to sense the area where this demons of the ocean reside. She knew the crew would be their somewhere.

She felt a tingle of darkness coming from the east. It was powerful and felt malicious. "Night. East! I sense something evil from the east. It's in the water and twisting it into something different. We have to stop it and save those crew members!" Raina said passionately. She hated nothing more then when evil toys with the elemental balance and these things should definitely not be there. She quickly attuned her self to light letting the holy magic flow around her body. She knew nothing could withstand light magic if it felt that evil. She was just hoping she was right. She brushed her hair out of her face and concentrated on preparing herself for battle.

They started to fly to the east,but were stopped after about twenty minutes of flying. A purple translucent person who looked like a pirate floated up from the water below. "Arg what be you doing in my waters?" The odd person said. "I didn't think they actually say arg" Nightken said looking at the translucent pirate. "Be gone mortals the be not your resting place." As he said that a strong gust of wind blew them away. Both Raina and Nightken were knocked off of Tenshu by the sheer force of the wind. Using his Raven Ring a pair of black lightning wings appeared on his back and he caught his falling teammate as his wyvern caught himself before coming close to the water. "That must be the ghost pirate that was mentioned in the job notes. I'll do what I can to distract him while you go on ahead and try finding the crew members." He said putting her on Tenshu. After he said that he quickly flew off ahead at full speed. The ghost pirate was still floating there. "You be either stubborn or stupid either way you won't be going any further." As he said that the wind started to roar. Going in at full speed he had his Discharge spell going as he sideswiped him with the lightning around him. This gave Raina and Tenshu to slip by. "That be a surprise for you to catch me off-guard." He said shrugging off the small zap and proceeded to move towards Nightken. He passed through him causing him to be disoriented a bit before he came back to normal.

'Monster Dice' :

Falling through the wind was surprisingly calming for the elemental mage. The air blew against her skin, gently caressing her as she fell. For a phantom lord with dominion over air, his attack seemed weak. Or maybe it was because of her magic? Only one way for her to know for sure. She turned her self over and spotted Night's wyvern, Tenshu recovering and flying towards her. She grabbed onto to Tenshu and lifted her self on his back. "Thanks, sweetness." She said as she nuzzled Tenshu's neck sweetly. "I'm going to need you help if we hope to defeat him. Think you can help me?" Raina asked the wyvern and he gave an approving growl as they headed towards the Phantom.

She saw her ally disorient the ghastly pirate with his electric magic and she saw her opening. She channeled her divine throughout her body and quickly tapped the Wyvern letting him know to catch her as she leaped off of him. She flipped over top of the remnant of the Pirate lord and called to her ally, "Cover you eyes night!" When she saw her ally do just that she kissed her fingers as she traveled through the air and slung her arm in the direction of the ghost. " Evil Spirit, Disperse! Saint!" A blast of holy magic flew towards the pirate and blasted him with the bright light. Tenshu quickly came up from beneath her and caught her from falling into the water.

"Dirty wench! How dare you attack me!" The pirate said as he grew angry and lunged at Raina . knocking her off of the wyvern and into the water below.

Nightken shielded his eyes with his arm when Raina yelled for him to. The ghost pirate seemed rather upset about her hitting him in his anger he knocked her into the water. Taking this opportunity he flew in and hit the ghost in the back with his Leading Charge spell. "Was that supposed hurt you scurvy dog?" As he said that he sent out a blast of wind that blew away Nightken's wings. "Tenshu!" He said falling. The wyvern quickly swooped in caught him and then dove down to grab Raina. With both of the back on the wyvern's back this fight seemed to be more difficult than expected. "Let's see how you handle this." As he said that he sent out a harmless  negative pulse at the ghost and had a ten foot orb of positive electricity above his other hand. Launching the orb at the ghost  it was surprised that the wind blasts it used didn't work as it moved behind and struck the same spot it was hit earlier. Once it was struck by the ten foot orb it got pulled in and was heavily electrocuted. "This isn't the last of me you've seen." As it said that it sank down into the water. "Tenshu we need to pick up the pace quickly." He said as the wyvern took off at full speed. Holding onto Raina's arm as a precaution so she won't fall off they started flying over more tiny islands, but they didn't seem to have any signs of people on them.

The water left out a splash as she was knocked into. To anyone else it would be cold and miserable, but to her, it was quite refreshing especially during a fight, but she knew she could not sit there. She quickly dove out of the water and grabbed on Tenshu when he dived for her. This is her team's first trial battle and her first mission with Night, but yet it was like they were in sync. They flew on the back of Tenshu searching for survivors but yet kept coming up empty. Her heart sunk low as they kept coming up empty handed. Where were the survivors? Had the ghost gotten to them?

She tried to sense any life in the area but kept getting interference. It's like something knew she could sense auras and was blocking her? What is going on and what are they going to do? She could not give up. This was team Spell Blade's first mission! She knew she had to succeed and prove to the guild she is a remarkable mage.

"Night. We have to succeed. We have to save the crew and eliminate the threat. I don't want to sound bossy, and I know your a better mage then me, but I cannot bear the thought of losing to this fallen pirate. We have to win at all costs! I will gladly give up my life if it means saving the innocents lost at sea! We must win! For Fairy Tail and for Team Spell Blade!"

Hearing what Raina said he knew how she felt, but wasn't the type to really show it. Looking around they saw a ship that crashed on the shore of a small island. Patting Tenshu on the back he landed near the ship. "Raina I'll take a look in the ship you keep an eye out for anyone or anything." He said walking to the ship. It wasn't difficult to climb onto the ship just that he couldn't go below deck due to it being flooded. "Tenshu shoot some spikes into the bottom of the ship to drain some of this water." He said to the wyvern from on the ship. Launching a volley of five spikes into the bottom of the ship causing a large amount of water to be drained. Looking below deck he couldn't see anything so he started to pulsate electricity that acted as a light. When he did that ten serpent like creatures quickly slithered past him holding tridents and scimitars. He didn't seem phased by them pointing their weapons at him. "Sorry about this." He said using his Discharge spell zapping all of their weapons causing them to drop them and quickly slither into the ocean. "It is a shame that I had to do that to them after all I was the one who disturbed them." He said picking up one of the scimitars. All of the weapons had scorch marks on them and some of them were cracked from the sheer amount of electricity that went through them. Picking up all of the weapons he then tossed them off the ship onto the shore. They all seemed to stick up out of the sand.

'Monster Dice' :

The ocean breeze blew her hair wildly behind her as she watched her teammate search the wreckage of what once a marvelous vessel of the sea. She mind ran rampant with the thoughts of the missing crew. Where had they vanished to? Did that phantom of a once fierce some pirate lord get to them? Or did the cruel strength of the sea swallow them whole into her depths? She shook her head a little trying to release the thoughts of negativity she was feeling at this moment. Ever since the "incident" she has been distracted. Distracted can get her or worse. Night, hurt or even killed. She had to pull it together.

The breeze seemed to pick up more as she gripped her Rosary, a powerful gift from her parents. She channeled her magic into the item and focused her abilities.She searched the vast ocean for the crew, determined not give up. Then she found an aura she knew to be human. "Night! I found them! We have to hurry!"
