Personality: 
Raii was born under the watchful eyes of the Gods. He was brought up by an old Egyptian wizard, who desolately left the world leaving only the ‘Book of Ra’ (an inimitable book that contains the spells used by the Pharaohs and Gods themselves). He learnt to survive on his own; this had to be done quickly as his master left him in the ripe age of 7. Raii learnt to be vigilant and attentive. He is calm and levelheaded, but swift in times and anger can sometimes get the better of him. Raii was arrogant in the beginning but as the years passed he grew wiser and is always strong-minded. He trusts no-one as he had always been alone as he lived amongst thieves and gangs. Raii is resilient and will never back down; he is always the first to assist someone in trouble as he is a loving a guy, but tends to hide this underneath his pain. Raii is always willing to do anything for someone who is in need of help, even if it means putting his life up front but he doesn’t show that he cares, as he usually just keeps him to himself, however this is gradually changing.  Since, he was brought up in the slums of Egypt he is quick and sharp; nothing gets passed him. Living in the slums meant that he had to fend for himself, and so he feels weird when people try to ‘help’ him. Overall he is a rough guy who is hard to get passed through.

In battle he can be both ruthless and merciful; depending on the cause. Since he learnt most of his magic on his own, he is both dangerous and daring. Raii usually strikes first and is always strong in battle, never backing down. Sometimes he can get arrogant but most of the time he is even-tempered in combat and always calculates his opponent’s move precisely. Living in the desert meant that looks can be deceiving (mirages); it can be like having a thick veil over your eyes and moving around futilely, so he learnt to swiftly study his adversary’s magic and quickly figure out their next move.  Raii is both prudent and sturdy in battle and his magic usually overpowers his opponents. Living in the slums meant that he isn’t afraid to just use his hands. Since he has no comrades, he has trained to battle several opponents at once and is not scared when he knows that the enemy is at advantage. Raii’s moves are almost perfect, as he practices his magic everyday as he has no guild nor other job.  Since, he is always ‘on the go’ he faces new rivals and learns new things; improving his both mental and physical state.  His magic overwhelms his opponent’s and since it’s ancient and a lost magic it can be very dangerous, both for the opponent and for Raii.  He can adapt to his surrounding’s well and sometimes use it at his own advantage increasing his strength and durability. If he were to be a leader then he would be excellent; his strategies would be accurate and his victories would be legendary but because he has always been alone, he would not easily follow someone.

Likes:
• The sunset/sun rise- its beauty reminds him that there are something’s in the world that are worth living for.
• The moon- Even when he is alone, he is reassured with the fact that there is someone watching him; even if it is through different forms-the moon.
• The Book of Ra- It’s the only think his master left behind and so he treasures it.

Dislikes:
• Seeing people harming or provoking innocent person’s especially old people, women or children.
• Seeing orphans or deprived people on the street- reminds him of himself and is angry with people leaving them like this.
• Magic being used in the wrong way- for illegal uses like thievery.

Motivations:
The fact that he has masters book proves to him that his master would never leave him unaided.
• The fact that there is a second book ‘The Book of Anubis’ somewhere in the world that he needs to find.
• The fact that his master told him to ‘never give up’ and always fight for his ‘honour’.

Fears: 
• Fears that he might lose the book- it’s the only thing his master left with him besides from the necklace.
• Fears that he would never fulfill his master’s wish of being the greatest wizard.
• Fears that he might get ‘distracted’ from his true goal.

Appearance: Raii is tall, with tanned skin and a muscular figure. He has brownish/black hair that spiked from the back. He has sharp big golden brown lion-like eyes which match his hair and a long scar (symbol of Amun-Ra) underneath is eye. He has straight white teeth and high cheek bones. He wears a dark brown jacket with ripped-off sleeves on a tatty, with nothing underneath revealing his solid abs. He also wears a brown belt, brown gloves, brown boots and beige pants. He has a pendant around his neck which carries a dragon tooth.
