History:
20 years ago Kayra L Terra was born into this world of magic. Being the first born girl she would be the one to inherit Amethyst Arts, a great magic that was not from this earthland realm. When she was born her mother left to another place where she had another child with a different man. Kayra was raised to be the greatest priestess of the amethyst arts in a forest between magnolia and clover town, This is where she lived most of her young life with her grandmother. Kayra had a wonderful relationship with her grandmother and they often spoke of nature and even went to the Faery Kingdom deep Under the forest in an ancient world lost in time. Kayra's grandmother always spoke with the king while Kayra and the Kings daughter, Jazmin played together.
It is said that the greatest of Orb Faerys could change shape into a human like size and anywhere in between. The Faery King did indeed change form to have tea with Kayra's grandmother and held the form until the visit was over. When Kayra was 12 years old she journeyed into the forest everyday to hunt for treasures and other objects that her grandmother told her about. Kayra Visited ancient ruins of a civilization long forgotten by many, these ruins were of a different realm where her ancestors were from.
Her grandmother told her tales of adventure and how Kayra's Great Great Grandmother had the power to walk between the realms and even had the ability to move an entire civilization to this forest in order to save everyone from the destruction of an ancient dragon. Kayra awed at the tales her old grandmother spoke of and wished to be like the hero that was often spoken of.
Kayra soon grew to the Age of 15, this was the age that she would become the next Amethyst Priestess and truly begin her training. The Rituals of the ancestors were preformed and Kayra began to use the Arts of Amethyst. a year later her mother had returned with a grave Illness she had obtained from the Grand Spider.. an Ancient beast that when bites you the poison either gives highly valuable magic abilities or goes against the victim resulting in a slow death. after Kayra's mother returned, her grandmother disappeared Leaving her to care for her mother, But Kayra was not alone in taking care of her mother. She had a brother named Kyan who was older than her and a C rank wizard in a guild. Kyan had the same father as Kayra and told her stories of their father who had died secretly.
When Kayra was almost 18 a man with Sharp white teeth appeared to her and her brother saying he knew of a cure for their mothers illness. Kyan quickly gathered his supplies and set out right away while kayra sat at home with her almost dead mother waiting for him to return with a cure. however.. Kyan never returned and Kayra's mother died a few weeks later from when Kyan left. Kayra was all alone and had never felt this feeling before. Kayra knew of only one place where she would not feel this feeling any longer, she traveled to the Faery kingdom to speak to the Faery king to find out where her grandmother was.
The king frowned slightly and said he did not know where her grandmother had went. kayra was very disappointed and in tears as she told the king what had happened. The king looked down to the ground and offered for his own daughter to help on the search, no matter how long it took. Jazmin was very excited and went with Kayra in a swiftness, they both journeyed throughout the forest and even out of the forest trying to find her grandmother. out of no where the man with sharp white teeth appeared to kayra once more holding an 8-ball cane and smelling of alcohol. he smiled and told kayra of her brother, how he was slain by a dark wizard in a manor over by the Corrupt tower. the image that he showed through his 8-ball cane was horrid and she fell to her knees in pain. the man introduced himself as Ray "8-ball" and soon after disappeared into the darkness.
Kayra searched throughout Magnolia and Clover town gaining more experience in speaking with others and tracking, when kayra was 19 years old she thought about joining Blue Pegasus, a guild stationed in Clover Town in order to find her grandmother and go on jobs. she was not an official member of blue pegasus until she was 20 years of age. Now Kayra has a new family that makes her happy in order to block out the pain and suffering she has when thinking about her dead family. Soon after she joined the Guild she found out she had a younger sister and now journeys to find her.
