Rp Combat Practice-Zenshin

Zenshin walked past the towering trees into a clearing in the middle of the forest. He continued until he reached the center of the large clearing and sat down. "So this is the training ground." he thought to himself, waiting patiently for someone. Starting to get anxious, he looked to his left and right expecting someone to come out of the bushes. He calmed down and told himself that they'd get here eventually. The bushes on his right side started to rustle so he looked towards that direction to see a man coming out.

Cloud came out of the clearing between two large trees surrounded by brush. He saw a young man standing in the training grounds perhaps waiting for someone. "Who are you waiting for boy?" Cloud asked as he stared at the young man. "What is your name?" Cloud asked following his other question quite impatiently. Cloud stood straight up and walked toward the boy until he towered over him. "Aren't you going to answer me?" Cloud asked once more.

Zenshin looked at the man and and planted his hands on the grass to get up. He looked at the man and said"Sorry, didn't here you. I'm waiting for someone to show up and help me with my magic training." Zenshin yawned and continued, "I'm Zenshin, and who might you be? This is a pretty remote place." he told the man in a surprised tone, waiting for a response.

"Magic training? Well Im sure I can help you while you wait for someone else to wander into this remote place with fateful intentions of training a young mage like yourself." Cloud laughed and gave his signature smile. "I am Tsurgi a guildless mage that has seen much more horror, delight, and darkness come from magic than you have in your entire life." Cloud of course was lying about his identity, he was a dark mage and the most wanted man in Fiore at that; being framed for killing the King of Fiore will do that to you. If he told the yound mage who he really was, he would have to kill him.

"Really, that would be great!" Zenshin exclaimed in a happier tone than he had wanted to. "Hey, you showed up didn't you?" he said, annoyed at his unique laugh. Zenshin squinted at Tsurgi's face, analyzing him a bit more. "Have we met before? You seem familiar. Zenshin asked him. "You know what, forget it. Thanks for offering." he said, dropping the subject. "Before I start, what are you doing down here in the woods? Also, what kind of magic do you use? Are you in a guild? What rank mage are you?" Zenshin realized he was bombarding his new acquaintance with questions. "If you don't mind me asking. he said with a smirk.

Cloud paused as he was bobarded by questions. He spoke softly after Zenshin finished, "I am a guildless mage like I said before. Also I am an A Rank mage that uses Seith Magic." Cloud lied about his rank, but he wouldn't need to go 50% strength on this kid so it was really no big deal. "Now how would you like to begin?"

"Of course, sorry for that." Zenshin said in a louder that normal tone, eager to get started. He couldn't help but wonder what Seith magic was since he had never heard of it. He was sure though, that Cloud had never seen Ice-Make magic, seeming as it was a pretty rarely practiced magic. Zenshin backed away from the man, back at the middle of the clearing. He looked at the man and clapped his together creating a thick, icy fog. "Lets do this!" Zenshin yelled out, signifying the start.

"Okay then." Cloud smiled. Right away he began to throw advanced strikes Zenshin's way waiting for him to respond with an offensive of his own. "Learn quickly." This may just be a warm up, but Cloud's purpose was to make this mage dig deep and really show him some powerful offense and defense. Cloud wouldnt slack and neither would anyone he was training with.

Cloud got a few shots into his mid section and one to the head due to the fact that Zenshin was caught off guard by the strikes like he was throwing. He got an idea of what kind of fighting style he was using, so Zenshin crouched down to chambering his right leg back Cloud didn't move. He quickly got up and jumped back to get a little bit of distance when he held out his hands. A thick icy fog started to appear around them as he called out "Ice-Make, Shuriken". As soon as he finished, a huge barrage of icy ninja stars started flying towards Cloud.

Cloud was intrigued by the rare Ice Make Magic. He had read about it, but had never seen it let alone faced it in combat before. This spell however couldn't be more powerful than a C Rank spell. Cloud used his Deity Possession Magic to transform into Hifu the Mutant Deity. He immediately began to grow wings, but the mutation process would take too long to fully manifest before he would be hit with the shuriken. In reaction he used his immense leg strength to jump high enough to dodge the spell. In mid-air his wings developed as well as elongated sharp claw-like finger nails and a tail. "Is that all you got? Ice Make is supposed to be one of the rarest and most sought after magics in the world besides lost magic of course. Show me something spectacular."

Zenshin was aggravated that his shuriken did seemingly nothing. He was, however, glad that he knew what kind of magic Cloud uses. "Take over magic huh? That's interesting. I'll you what I'm capable of, you takeover god. he whispered quietly to himself. Zesnhin started running towards Cloud and when he was about four feet, if Cloud would be on the floor, he stomped his foot on the ground, at the same time yelling "Ice-Make, Pillar"! As soon as he was a bit higher than Cloud in height he called out "Ice-Make, Boomerang" to create and fling a giant ice boomerang in a spinning motion to give it speed. At the same time, he called out "Ice-Make, Sword!", creating a large, curved, scimitar. After the boomerang was close, Zenshin began descending so he tossed the sword in the same way as he threw the boomerang as he descended towards the ground. "Ice-Make, Pillar!" he called out to create a large pillar to break his fall, and create a platform for him to stand on.

"Actually, it is a rare and lost form of Seith Magic where I use the power of Deity Spirits. It is very similar to take over, but the transformations are brought on by a different phenominon." Cloud watched as Zenshin used a spell that made a Ice landscape-like feature that allowed him to stand much higher. A boomerang followed by a sword both propelled towards him with great speed and in an instinctive reaction, Cloud flew at least 60 feet higher to avoid the attack and to set up one of his own. Cloud spoke to himself, "This kid is going to waste all his magic power with combos like that. They are good at the moment, but the pace of the fight determines a winner. Time to teach him."

Zenshin crouched on his ice pillar that was standing approximately twenty feet tall, giving off fog due to the effects of sublimation. While crouching he was doing two things, planning a strategy, and recharging his magic after feeling it was at least half depleted. "That magic is something else. I've never seen anyone doge my boomerang before." he thought to himself. Zen stood up from the crouched position and looked up at Max. "I'm not ending with just that. That was just warm-up!" he yelled to Max, determined to give him a fight. He reminded himself to not waste all his magic recklessly against an opponent like this. He has to be calm and collective with his thoughts and plans of attack, as well as his countering. Putting he left leg back and squatting down a bit, he said to Cloud, "Your move".

Cloud laughed and then descended rapidly and pulled up with about 10 feet of clearance from the ground. He dropped a little lower and was now eye to eye with his opponent. At full speed he baited his opponent into making an offensive counter attack. He had plans, and strategy was an important lesson for this youngster.

Zenshin acted a bit surprised and dismayed as he was charged by Cloud, bringing his right arm back and his left arm forward to try and defend against him. However, Zen was hoping he'd charge him. A bit more obvious that secretly icing his hand up for a power punch just enough so that his opponent could see. Just as Cloud came in close enough, Zenshin quickly arched his back and fell to the ground ducking under both Cloud, and the giant boomerang returning.

Cloud was being followed by that troublesome boomerang once more. He had not coice but to transform into one of his A Rank Deities to completely avoid the damage. "Deity Possession: Sukeru." Cloud shouted as the transformation began. Cloud's appearance changed once more and his powers did so as well. He spun around to face the boomerang and proceeded to cancel out the elemental magic. "Not bad," Cloud said as the transformation wore off. "Come at me again."

Zenshin's hand was completely solid now from icing. With his free, he sprung himself up from the pillar and and went for an uppercut on Cloud as soon as he took his attention off the boomerang with his solid hand. "What was that!" he said, very confused that the characteristics brought upon Cloud by Sukeru. "Why did my boomerang just... pass through you?" he finished, still in a confused state. Zenshin brought his hand up and swung it down onto Cloud in succession to his uppercut to try and land a combo on him. Zenshin started plummeting quickly, so he grabbed onto his pillar at around 9 feet off the ground and slid his way down. As soon as he got to the floor he squatted down, ready for a counterattack from Cloud.

Cloud reverted back to his normal state and recieved an uppercut that made him move away a few inches before he flipped in mid-air in response and landed on the ground. "Not bad," Cloud spoke. He raised his magic power to an A Rank level and said, "Try attacking me now." Cloud knew he was much faster stronger and more enduring than his opponent. They were worlds apart, but this kid had potential. "Deity Possession: Akapera."

Zenshin was as confused as ever. "Just what IS this guy!"he kept thinking to himself. He hadn't used any spells for a while, so his power started to come back to him. "Finally..." he whispered aloud. Zenshin kept thinking "If I can land one punch, there's no reason I can't hit him with anything else." Zenshin gave a slight smirk to Cloud and put both of his hands out and crouched. "Ice-Make, Heavy Sword!" he yelled out as a dense, large, icy scimitar materialized in his hands. It was giving off fog due to sublimation, like most of his spells. Zenshin started icing his feet as he ran towards Max.

Cloud was impressed with the attack, but his opponent was using a close range weapon in response to a long range deity. "Your sword isn't long enough to so much as graze me." He used Akapera's ability to shout and produce a massive sound shockwave capable of shattering rock with ease. This deity was known for her destructive voice. The ground cracked and fissured with the impact of the soundwave as it got closer to Zenshin. What was he going to do now?

Zeshin's feet were now almost solid ice, allowing him to almost 'skate' or 'glide' along the surface easily. He pushed out his left leg to 'skate' around the ground-rupturing blast. The blast was too close, Zenshin barely made it around but one of his 'skates' had broken. It had shattered at the sheer pitch alone of the blast and Zenshin thought, "Thank god I wasn't in that.". Losing balance, he had to think quickly of how to stop swerving when he got the idea to balance himself by bringing up his left leg. Chambering his left leg, he proceeded on his right towards Max. Spinning in the process, he swung his heavy sword in Cloud's direction.

Cloud saw that Zenshin had avoided the attack, a feat that few were capable of. "Not bad boy," Cloud chuckled. Zenshin closed the distance rather fast and proceeded to swing his massive sword with intent to kill. Cloud used Akapera's ability and shouted directly below him causing the shockwave to launch him into the air. This allowed him to avoid the strike and gave him a competetive advantage as he flipped to land facing Zenshin's backside. Cloud let loose one more shout and the shockwave came just as fast as the last offensive he had initiated.

Zenshin saw that Cloud had a complete advantage as he shouted his way behind him. This was not a very got position to be in. Zen had to use his most defensive combo to escape serious injury, but lose a lot of magic in the process. At this point, he had not choice. He span around and summoned a huge, complex, magic circle around both of them from which he then called out, Ice-Make Tortoise and Pillar"! The ground shook as a giant, cold, fog surrounded both of them. A giant tortoise and a wall of thick ice pillar 20 feet high had curved so that Zenshin was 'inside'. The shock wave had broken through the wall of pillars and almost broke through the the tortoise's shell, but was still enough to knock Zenshin back.

He was almost out of magic and was exhausted, but still managed to stand up and wait for his opponents next move.

Cloud saw that Zenshin was worn out, "This is where we will see your true power, when you are down and demoralized. Rise and suprise me with true power now." Cloud receeded to his normal form, but had risen his magic power to S Rank levels and beyond.

With his last remaining power Zenshin got up and looked Cloud straight in the eyes and had confidence that this would be his last attempt to win this battle. A giant and complex magic circle surrounded them once more. Zen put his arms out and fingers like teeth were about to clamp down. While he did this, giant, foggy, jaws appeared around Cloud and Zenshin clamped his hands together while whispering Ice-Make....Ice Jaws while the two jaws of sharp, dense ice clamped down. He the fainted soon after his final attack.
