Ikuto thought and thought hard at the long and mushy words that Rei spoke. Although, Ikuto understood only about less than half of it, he was sure Rei simply meant to say that Mr. Westfield was only trying to be a strong man, for his daughter and his daughter alone. All this happiness usually resulted in happy endings, as that was what was sure to happen now. Ikuto started to tear up, then before anyone noticed, he wiped his eyes dry. More or less, he remembered the whole point of his reason coming here. With a slight bow, hand outstretched, he asked.
"M'lady. May I have this dance?"
She gradually smiled and replied in Ikuto's favor with a yes. Ikuto took her hand, arm in arm. There was no music, no one watching. Nothing at all. But anyone could tell, it was the best dance of all.
