Pain walked up to the house dressed in a suit which did not work well with the warrior of Fairy Tail. The suit was stretched due to his muscle mass and the tattoo on the right side of his face really clashed with the clothes of the noble. Knocking on the door making it shudder. The door opened to a petite blonde who's eyes widened when she saw the man that was there to pick her up for the ball. She took a step back when he tried a smile and it made him look..monstrous. However since he was her last chance she sighed and took his hand and they walked out to the carriage he had gotten for the night. The horses were jet black lead by a white one at the head of the five horses.

Opening the fragile door he ripped the door off the hinges, trying to smile he placed the door back but to no use and dropped it. The woman tried not to laugh but couldn't help it. Pain offered his hand and she took it for the assistance into the carriage, Stepping in Pain took the side without the door and looked at the woman who kept sneaking looks at the brute who was a noble. Pain didn't say a word as they moved down the road to the ball.

The carriage soon arrived at the ball where fancy dressed nobles stepped out of their over expensive rides. When Pain and his date arrived many looked over as the monster stepped out of the carriage in a suit, raising a hand he helped the young woman out of the carriage and to the ground. Holding out a large arm for her to wrap around which she did but barley got her arms around the huge bicep which she kept squeezing and feeling the size of. Pain chuckled a deep baritone sound that made two nobles and their dates nearby take a step back. Leading her into the massive castle he examined every inch of the place just in case he ever had to storm it in a battle.

The pair made it to the ball room the little Noble lady unable to stop feeling the strong iron muscle that her arm was wrapped around. She was use to flimsy little scare crows or over fat walruses. A real man with muscle was something new to her, walking into the ball room they were given a wide berth to the petite young lady and her bruiser noble date. Looking around Pain want nothing more than to smash some face in on these boring and over pampered nobles but he had a job to do and would do it.

Pain grinned at the young woman and took her hand, leading her out to the ball room floor he pushed past the others clearing a path through force and intimidation. Placing his large hands on the young woman's hips he had to bend a little so she could get her arms around his neck. The band wasn't too bad as they danced but it was a far cry from the guilds more rowdy behavior, moving in circles he danced the young woman around the dance floor basically shoving anyone that came close to them and soon Pain and his date had the entire floor to themselves. Pain didn't care that they were cowards but the woman looked almost shocked to see nobles backing down, the same men who could summon guards at a word but with another noble they would be forced to face him alone.

Smiling the woman laughed throwing her head back as she enjoyed the power of the young man, realizing she hadn't laughed since her mother died she gave a soft thank you smile to the young man who had taken her to the ball and showed her what fun was again.

Pain twirled the girl in the air while she laughed from the young mans antics, smiling he set her down and the pair danced around the Ball room in full fashion though his was a bit more sloppier than hers. The dance soon wore the young girl out and Pain taking the hint lead her off the floor and to the refreshments table. Picking up one of the diamond cups he filled it with red wine and handed it to her, he curled his nose at the sloppy drink preferring his rum which sat in his pocket but for the job he would take the wine. Drinking it back he was close to spitting out the vile tasting drink. Pain took her hand and lead her out of the castle onto the balcony where they could see the city. He didn't say anything he just stood letting her enjoy the view.

Pain looked out at the city lights a smile plastered on his face, he loved travelling and this city was far from the Fairy Tail guild, he loved the Guild but his nature constantly forced him to travel and his love of the road always helped. The woman was smiling no she was actually glowing from the night of her life. Pain nodded and took her hand walking her back to the ball room where they once again danced the night away. The woman was smiling and laughing meaning Pain had done his job and he admitted seeing her smile was a good thing. The Ball came to an end and once again they walked back to the carriage and climbed in.

Closing the door, Pain walked around to the other side and climbed in. Sitting down he looked at the woman who stared out the window. The lights of the city showing in her eyes as well as a smile on her delicate lips. Pain leaned back closing his eyes as he forced himself from tearing off the suit, he hated these things.

The carriage arrived at the mansion after a hour of leaving the ball the carriage arrived at the mansion. Stepping out Pain walked around to the other side of the carriage and opens the door. Taking her hand he helped the young woman from the carriage and smiled. Walking up to the door he turned her head and gave her cheek a light kiss. Blushing the woman smiled and walked into the house. Taking a few steps back the young warrior waited and finally the father of the woman came out smiling from ear to ear. He grabbed Pains hand and shook it for helping his daughter.

Pain nodded and accepted his payment, turning he stepped back into the carriage and it started it's way down the road. Growling in relief he pulled the coat off and the pants sliding back into his normal attire. the long night had finally ended and with it a smile on the face of a innocent noble, and happiness in an old fathers heart. Pain shook his head glad he could do some good in this world of violence.
