"Well, hello ladies, care to join me?"
Of course, if a certain bicycle can keep his wheels to himself. "Quit creeping people out, Abraxis," Aldous chided his companion, who was ogling at a few women decked out in festival clothes, though none of them seemed to be in the festive mood now that a talking bicycle had just asked them out. In fact, they were quite horrified, quickly scurrying away. Aldous could only sigh as he grabbed Abraxis by the handle and gave a punishing chop on the top of his bicycle bell, essentially slapping his mouth when Abraxis yelped in comical pain.
"What was that for?!"
"Pissing me off."
"Well, aren't you the most goody-two-shoes? We are in a festival, right? We should have some fun! A couple of girls, beer and some boogie dancing!"
"And you expect to get all that as a bicycle?"
"Well, surely not, but I'm sure the ladies would get all lovey-dovey over a mysterious-looking guy like you."
"And you never placed it in your mind that I might just reject them outright?" Aldous slapped Abraxis a second time, determined to make him see the point.
"Sheesh, you are so BORING. Why can't you ju-" Abraxis halted his rant, his bell chinking twice in a mimicry of sniffing. "Hmm....something smells good."
"Yeah, I noticed it like an hour ago," Aldous rolled his eyes mockingly.
"No no, not that barbecued crap. Something....better.....," Abraxis was now beginning to drool, which is weird coming from a supposedly inanimate object. "IT IS! BAKED FOOD IN A FESTIVAL!" Aldous could only look on as Abraxis rushed forth into the crowds, disappearing towards the direction of a intricately designed store. A small smirk betrayed his also rising festive mood.
"Taking it easy, are you?" Aldous dropped his smile. "Keep yourself in, Purgatory. You and I will both die if you go mad in the midst of an entire guild."His remark earned a shrug from his inner persona.
"Hmmph, I highly doubt it. But, oh well, it is a little too peaceful for me. I'll have a lot more fun in your head." Aldous felt his shoulders release their tension as the presence retreated back into the depths, though a lingering cackle nearly snapped a nerve. His exterior looking calm and nonchalant, the Guildless mage walked after Abraxis.
