Sometimes a warm breeze can be felt just from being near the whip. This whip was stolen from the Oak King at the height of the autumn equinox. While the Oak King was weakened by winter's waxing power, a group of mages snuck into his domain to steal one of his fabled weapons. They hoped to bring prosperity to their land gripped near year-round by ice and snow. Unfortunately, those mages didn't anticipate the power of the Scourge. Their land baked beneath the rays of Summer. The Holly King, He who rules the Winter's chill, could not touch their land. Left desolate by the power, the land slowly died. The Solar Scourge was entombed in that land, never to see the light of day again. However, the power of a god is seductive.
