Description: There was once a benevolent dragon who presided over a small village deep in a range of mountains. He lived in peace with the humans of this village. They protected one another and included the dragon in their celebrations and traditions. His name has been lost to time, but it is said that his favorite holiday which humans honored was Christmas. He would use his strength to help them cut down trees, which were used both for decoration and for crafting Yule logs for their fireplaces. He would also use his magic to create brilliant balls of light like tiny fireflies that would embed themselves into their trees, giving them a beautiful dreamy glow of decoration from within and around the thick fronds.

However, the village was not very large and over time its people died out, eventually leaving the dragon by himself. When Christmas came around the year the last of his beloved humans died, he had no one to share the holiday with. He struggled with his grief until he remembered the joy of the holiday, and how the mortals he once shared his life with would not want him to grieve for them but rather to move on and find others with whom he could pass along these beautiful traditions with. Thus he left the mountains in search of a new home, but before he did, he left behind a crystallized manifestation of his passion on a small altar in the center of the abandoned village, a lacrima filled with a portion of his power that encompassed the holiday he cherished so fondly: his gift to whoever fate chose to lead to it.
